breakfast quality was very low - even with low expectations. expensive, room was tired looking inside charging for parking is a scam

The Staff was extremely nice and friendly. Very helpful. The room was very clean, good water pressure in the shower. The Bed was like sleeping on a Flintstones bed. The mattress was flat and hard. Very uncomfortable. The bed sheets felt itchy, amd the air-conditioning stopped working around 11om then came back on at 8am like it was turned off by the hotel and then flipped back on in the morning. Was very strange. Was very hard to get any sleep in a hot room sleeping in itchy shirts on a hard mattress. 300.00 with tax was not worth it. The facilities look nice and up-to-date, too bad they forgot to update the mattresses. Marriott hotel, you need to do better or charge less for what you are offering. The breakfast was bad, eggs very watered down, they had very dry sausage patties and an egg and cheese muffin with no flavor what so ever. Only thing worth eating was the waffle you make in the waffle machine.

This place is Awsome.

Without notice they changed us $10 per day to park. The shower was not clean. The breakfast buffet was very underwhelming. This hotel is not up to Marriott standards.

Don’t know about breakfast,most people are hit with extra hidden fees at checkout,like paying to have access to use hot tub or being in common area, My booking was accidental ,I was looking on my phone as I have company coming to stay and so I was looking for places close to stay, I accident’s hit a reserve I didn’t notice until my card is auto charged?? Called&exlained they are rude jerks no refunds said it’s my bad so I pay?? Nice people NOT!! Jerks!!!!I will never recommend this place to anyone

Its a great property near downtown, but kept it private. Parking is ample, room is roomy and clean, pet friendly, breakfast have a wonderful selection including GF muffin. Coffee is available super early even though breakfast don't start until 6 am. Pool is good size for the property. We will stay here again.

Breakfast had new variety of food daily, hot tub was hot with strong jets. Staff was very kind and I liked the location being close to downtown and across the street from a park.

Hot tub not working. Booked this hotel specifically for hot tub after long travel day and again after long day skiing. Very disappointed. Wish they would have made it clear on their site that it has not been working for a while.

Overall we had a good time and were pleased with this hotel. Our room was clean, bed is comfortable and we liked that hotel had a hot tub and pool. Couple of things to mention- room heater is pretty loud, only couple of jets working in hot tub, and staff need to reinforce people to wear shoes in breakfast area. There were several adults and kids with no shoes on both days. We saw signs posted, but no one paid attention, and it was pretty gross to see

staff at the front desk was great and thats about it, the jacuzzi suite that i reserved was out of service i was told when i got there because the jets didnt work, i had been waiting on this night for quite awhile, anyway, the girl at the front desk offered a discount si i took it, the ikea bed was horrible along with the flat pillows, if your looking for a good nights sleep, this isnt it, this room and hotel needs major updating, the tub dripped bad continuosly the entire time.tv remote barely worked

Bedroom was too tight. Space around king sized bed was insufficient to manouver chair. I slept in the hidabed, which was subpar. thin mattress with no padding. Staff provided a trundle bed with a similarly subpar mattress. Laying this on the hidabed made things better for the second night, but for a Marriott property, the quality of this hidabed was appalling.

Lots to like about this property. Helpful staff and a well-stocked breakfast buffet. We had a room with a king bed and a small sofa and I appreciated the room to spread out. We were just across the street the the Deschutes River walking path and walked to great options for dining and shopping. Plus this property is located close to the main freeway so easy on and off access.

Nice hotel, reasonable price, usual breakfast items. Good Location. We had a king room for 2 people, but only one chair and only one suitcase rack (which is not uncommon) The bathroom is large, clean and great shower with soap, shampoo and conditioner. We would stay here again.

Nice location near downtown Bend and the restaurants and bars. Just off the highway into town. Pool area and spa are indoors for all weather use.

Carpet was still wet from cleaning. TV stopped working day 2, no one to fix it. Staff very nice. Great free breakfast. Refrigerator kept shutting off. Bed, eh, had better and had worse. Charging station available!

Walkable to downtown shops and restaurants (along Deschutes Riverwalk from Pioneer Park across the street from hotel). Breakfast selections excellent and great that opened 6am weekdays (7 on weekends). Housekeeping on request. Lighting in room very good.

We really enjoyed our stay. We especially enjoyed the young gentleman who worked the front desk (we cannot remember his name unfortunately). He was very friendly, warm and welcoming.

Hotel was quiet and comfortable. It was about a .7 mile walk to the downtown area of Wall and Bond Streets. The free breakfast was okay but great breakfast options in town.

The staff was helpful, friendly, and responsive. They offered great advice on how to navigate Bend during Fourth of July weekend, where to see fireworks, and other local events. Tammy helped us several times, but many of the other staff did too, I regretfully did not catch all of their names.

Seven is an assist to the company. We had an awful experience before checking in. Seven was polite, courteous and a friendly face. He even gave us info about parking for the concert we were going to. Seven should be comedend for his customer service. All the staff was great. The only down side we were supposed to get housekeeping on Monday and that didn't happen. They even fixed the hot tub. When w ewere their. Overall I give this place. Big thumbs up

The people were so friendly. The included breakfast was a great start to the day, hearty and with lots of options. The location made it easy to get out and explore. We got the suite with a corner tub. I was surprised at how fast it filled! Watching our favorite show on the laptop while in a bubble bath was the perfect way to unwind. The reason for the one 4 start section is that the mattress was too soft.

The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us with a very late check out. The pool area was great and the breakfast was hot and great for a free hotel breakfast. 10/10!

Overall convenient hotel but not really within walking distance of downtown. Appreciated the WiFi and free parking as well as the affordability of the hotel as a whole. If looking to be within walking distance, would book a different hotel. Overall a pleasant experience, continental breakfast was provided and is similar to other continental breakfasts provided.

The gal at the breakfast was working so hard! The food was amazing, had a great time at the pool abs hot tub. Everything was very nice and well taken care of!

The only things I didnt like were the bedding. The mattress was an innerspring and VERY firm, and the blankets were very lightweight, summer weight, and not warm enough. I couldve asked for extra blankets, but I dont think it wouldve added much to the weight.

This was a nice hotel. My room was a little smaller than I expected, but the bathroom was spacious with a walk-in shower. The hotel was pet friendly, but charged a $50 a night pet fee which is outrageous in my opinion. I didn’t know that until I already booked the room. If I had known that before, I would have chosen a different hotel.

We had a good stay. The only thing was the bed was real firm and my back did not like it.

Great place; however, we were on the first floor, surrounded by barking dogs during day and into early morning hours! Last bark was from a German Shepherd at 4am. They even brought dogs into area where you get get breakfast.

Literally the hardest, least comfortable bed I have slept in in a long, long time. I had to say at a Motel 6 not long ago, and the bed there was better. I Will seriously never stay at that motel again over because of that bed.

I work up very early 4am and came in the lobby and had fresh coffee and tv with beautiful Christmas decorations waiting for my family to wake up… Very cozy

This is our second time staying with Fairfield branch and we did not disappoint. Our 10 months old daughter loved the indoor pool. Highly recommend Fairfield Inn & Suites.

Paper thin walls, slamming doors, train is loud, very old building. We only stayed one night and moved to a nicer hotel close to same price.

The room was very clean. Bed a little too soft for me. The location is between 2 busy streets (major highway and street) so a bit noisy at times. We were on the "quiet" side. The stem of the bathroom sink leaked. Staff was friendly and informative.

IT WAS AN HONOR TO MEET THE VERY KIND AND VERY HUMBLE OWNERS OF THE HOTEL; JAY AND TED WHO JUST HAPPENED TO BE THERE WHEN I WAS. THIS HOTEL AND HOTEL TOWNEPLACE ARE DEFINITELY PLACES I WILL STAY AT, WHENEVER I VISIT BEND OREGON.

We arrived late. Expedia info says 24/7 Front desk. Nope. Hotel was locked. WE could not get in and the front desk did not answer the phone. We called several times at let the phone ring and ring to no avail. We had to go the the hotel next door and luckily they had a room available so we could get some sleep. I expect a full refund.

Super friendly staff

This hotel is about .5 miles from downtown, so you can walk on the river walk the go to a pub or two without having to get a taxi/uber. There was many excellent options at breakfast! Bend itself is an awesome place to visit!

This hotel is not super convenient for the things that are enjoyable about bend. .5 mile from most of downtown.
