The room had cigarette burns on the comforters, the bathroom fixtures were old and leaking, and blood stains on the mattress. Do not recommend…

Great place

For a motel this is a pretty nice place. The room had some tasteful updates which gave it some character. Clean room, comfy enough bed. It is on a busy corner so be prepared for that. I'd stay again for a night or two.

A couple of points though... its okay if the beds aren't made or changed but the bathroom should be cleaned everyday(wasn't), the floors should be mopped daily(weren't) & it would be a good idea to put hooks in sink area for the hand towel & hooks to hang towels and/or clothes in the bathroom. The lack of a door between the toilet & sink area was weird. The metal frames around the beds sounded like thunder when we would accidently hit them with our feet. Again, we like the hotel & will consider staying there again. These are suggestions for your future guests.

Right next to a bunch of stuff and within walking distance of a lot of stuff The room was disgusting with liquor bottles, dirt and hair, and even condom wrappers piled between the mattress and headboard. Even the walkway was full of garbage and junk to even get to the room. During the stay I ended up leaning up against a bed and it got moved a few inches, and it looked like the beds hadnt been cleaned under in about 10 years as there was a disgusting residue gloopy pile along where the skirt was pushed back They charged a 200$ cash deposit on top of a credit card hold and the full room fee, which was never listed during booking or anything.

Room was not ready at check-in time, though the front desk person was very apologetic about it. Room was in decent condition, but not great. Bathroom door (slider) wouldn't stay shut, the mini-fridge barely worked, the coffee maker leaked everywhere, and the shower would cycle back and forth between scalding and ice cold based on water usage elsewhere in the building. Scalded my wife's feet pretty good. Because the curtains for the front window hang over the AC unit, the cold air blows up and gets trapped in the curtains if they're closed, which makes the unit cycle on and off pretty rapidly. Overall not great, but we were able to sleep reasonably well.

The manager responded quickly to our needs and was very accommodating.

The rooms are updated and it’s obvious that the owners care about the property. The king size bed was so comfortable, and there was a mini fridge and microwave in the room which has become more rare. I stay here a few time a year and recommend the spa suites after camping or other outdoor adventures.

Absolutely filthy floor throughout and bath floor you could see they never cleaned the floor when I moved the trash bin it was visibly dirty. Tub didn’t drain properly so you almost took a bath when showering. Staff missed cleaning my room one night and had to ask the next night and the response was a little rude.

Room was in good condition. Some things were worn and should be replaced but it was clean. Only complaint is that door only had regular door lock and did not have the extra chain or bar lock for more security.

Property had a number of features that drew us in, but it was average and needing some repairs. I also dropped something and it rolled under the bed, when I went to retrieve it I found under the bed had not been cleaned in a good bit of time.

Well, it wasn't hot enough to use the air conditioner. The parking was right along the road with I didn't like but I left on a day the traffic was light so could back out onto the road safely. It's an old motel and it shows but it's very clean and I thought pretty inexpensive.

I wish there was a closet or some other place to hang up clothes.

Surprised this property has such high ratings. Many things about it seem suspect. Worst thing about it is the location and how loud it is. Barely slept the entire night.

The loud ticking clock was disruptive and I found some short black hairs on the side of the bed and under the pillows the next morning when staightening the bedding. The pillow are very well used and old. Totally flat and uncomfortable so bring your own. The toilet seat was loose and slid when used. It would be nice if the walkway lights where on a dimmer for sleep. Its hard to face the window and not get disturbed with the light flooding in around the curtains. The ice machine is still down even though i saw a review over 6 months ago it was broken. Ice is super nice to have and it should be available. The coffee maker takes up the desk space so not usable for work. The other chairs and table i used but not very workable space. Better than some I have stayed and worse than others all in about same price range.

The room was very nice and clean. When checking in, they could not find I had paid for 4 nights. told me only 2 nights. Finally I said my name again and a light went on, and my check in was OK.

I was very pleased with how clean and modern the room was. The staff was excellent. for a budget hotel, it was a 10! I will stay there again!

THE BED WAS VERY COMFORTABLE, AND IT WAS VERY QUIET IN THIS MOTEL WE WILL STAY THERE AGAIN.

Heating and bed were great. Only minor issue was the water, it wasn’t hot enough in the shower.

The staff was super friendly. The rooms were clean loved the area and there was plenty of parking. I would recommend this location to anyone in Bend.

I will sum it up with one word: Outstanding. Beautiful room and although I was on the top floor and next to a busy artery, it wasn't that noisy. I was comfortable and slept well. I will be staying here again whenever I am in Bend. You won't be disappointed. The Black Bear diner is right next door and my favorite Phô restaurant is a 5 minute walk just across and down the street.

The room was recently remodeled and clean. We thought the beds were going to be too soft but we were wrong. It was walking distance to several restaurants and stores including the LAST Blockerbuster. Would stay again if we are in the area.

Okay for a quick stay! My room did not have a shower curtain so it was hard to shower without water getting all over the floor but otherwise it was okay.

I checked in to a clean and quiet room! Went out and got in late and still nice and quiet. Had a good nights sleep. Great that it had a fridge, microwave, tv, cofee maker, table n chair, desk and iron and board! Everything that you need when away from home. I liked the renovations, thank you!

Totally remodeled

I reserved a room for my husband and I for a concert. After a 4hr drive to get there, I was eager to check in and get settled. At the check in desk we were greeted by whom I assumed was the owner, he wasn't very friendly. I guessed he has had problems with previous guests or maybe it was a culture difference, idk but it didn't give me a warm fuzzy feeling. He made a point of saying twice there was no smoking in the room, we assured him we wouldn't be smoking in the room and finally got the key card from him. Upon entering the room it seemed ok, really small but looked to be recently renovated. We got a "romantic" queen bed with a jetted tub. I was not impressed with either. The bed was uncomfortable and the tub (was supposed to fit two people) was small and barely fit one person. The flooring was sticky and I decided to leave my shoes on while there. My husband is a smoker and was outside smoking when the owner came up to him and said there was no smoking on the property and that we couldn't park in the handicapped space without a placard. My husband is a disabled veteran and we have special plates clearly showing a wheelchair and explained we don't have a placard. He mumbled something under his breath and walked away. His wife and son worked there as well and they were friendly. I suggest that he learn from his family cuz I can't imagine reviews being good with his poor attitude!

Room was better than expected given some of the recent negative reviews. It was clean, comfortable, staff was friendly. It’s clear they renovated/updated the rooms. Only complaint was that there was very limited functional storage - no dresser or shelves, just some hangers and had to move coffee items on top of microwave to make counter space. Nothing we couldn’t handle though and overall was a great stay.

I only stayed one night, but the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. It’s definitely an older building, but my room was updated and clean. There are several places to eat and shop all within a short walk from my room. I would definitely stay here again!

Carpet floors are always difficult to maintain, This unit had engineered hardwood floors and were easy to see they were clean.

Great value for convenient location. Room was a bit tacky and random but charming. I enjoyed the whirlpool tub but did my own cleaning go over before soak. Floors and under bed could be more clean. TV was nice size but didn't have a clear picture and the remote was jenky. However there is an HDMI input to hook up your own computer and the picture clears up. Thanks!

Check-in was a breeze, and the room was extremely clean and much more recently updated than we expected. The walk-in shower has a tiled floor with alternating textured tiles, so flet cery stable when wet. Overall we were very please and would definitely stay there again!

I’m not sure how this place has such high reviews on Expedia. While the place has been updated somewhat, it’s a bit sloppy with broken light switch covers, weird wall patches, and oddly spliced tile. The room is fine for a night but the area is noisy and a little nerve wrecking. I’ve stayed at a lot of off the road motels like this and while I think the staff is great, there could be some improvements, especially with cleanliness. Lots of dust left around, mystery stains on the curtains you can’t fully close, and left behind bathroom mess.

I travel a lot and this is by far the worst place I've ever stayed.

Horrible customer service. Lied twice, refused to help with issue. Phone in room didn't work but they said it did. Check in there was a $200 deposit that wasn't known. Tv barely worked, every channel was fuzzy and the picture was half the size of the tv. Told me there were no more rooms to move me but there were.

Very bad smell coming from the bathroom into the rest of the room. Was very hard to deal with we checked out early. Also stains on the lamps and bed, curtains were also hard to digest.

Outside area is very loud. An extra sect charge of $200 is added to your card temporarily. The owners only spoke English when they spoke directly to you so you felt as if something was wrong with your reservation. The restaurant next door was great! The room was cute and clean.

Check in was friendly and easy. My few complaints about the room were that the cleaning staff left the used soap from previous guest in the shower, the picture on the TV was snowy and terrible. Lastly the temperature control knob in the shower had the hot and cold water reversed from what they were, so I just about burned myself trying to cool the shower down.

This place is a bang for your buck. It’s affordable, yet clean and comfortable. I camp quite a bit in the area, but sometimes plans change and this is a great backup.

Nice, clean, got everything use would need. Newly renovated with great mirror in the bathroom for makeup. Good location to go to many places around. Great price and friendly staff. The only downside was noise from traffic that’s not their fault at all. The place was close to downtown and located by 4 lanes street. It’d be hard to not have any traffic noise.

If you get a hot tub room, they put a $200 hold on your card. When they inspect your room while you are standing there they refund. However they will not immediately refund your money they say it takes a week!!!! That is absolutely ridiculous for them to take your money immediately and then not refund it immediately.

Liked that the rooms were clean, modern, had a bath tub. It is on a high traffic road and a 4-way light and although pets not allowed not everyone complied.

Had a one night stay in Bend, and selected the Dunes. It is a small facility, but very clean, very comfortable, and VERY affordable. A great value. If I ever had to go back to Bend, I would not hesitate to rebook here.

Fit the purpose for what I wanted since the location was key. Also the price was affordable but if you're looking for a quiet place, this isn't it. Road noise is pretty bad.

I left the A/C on continuous and slept like a baby. I'll definitely stay there the next time I'm in Bend.
