everthing was great except they alternate between oatmeal and grits...I would have oatmeal every day since most places provide it and only southern people on travel would eat grits...most other hotels have oatmeal every day...why not both?

There were long black hairs in between the towels and wash rags. Bugs were crawling from behind the bathroom mirror. I told the lady at the front desk who did not apologize nor offer any concession. Poor experience for that kind of money.

Nice, private hotel with an upscale feel. However, the college uses it for groups and several of our stays have had very noisy college groups keeping us up late, treating it like a dorm. We will choose another hotel in Belmont as this has happened three different times.

This hotel is located right off of the interstate but feels like a quiet location. Staff interactions were all great. Our rooms were clean and large. Breakfast was consistently good each morning with some different items each day. Would definitely stay here again for future needs. I don't have any complaints with the hotel during our visit.

Check in was 3pm, room was not ready until after 4pm. Bed linen in one of the beds was not fresh, actually reaked of body odor. No answer at front desk, so had to go down to the lobby and get fresh linens. Front desk attendant was very apologetic, and offered to come make the bed , but we declined. Faucet in tub was loose, but functioning. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Bathroom seemed to be under construction. Very uneven floor (Trip hazard), old outdated tub, scuffed up sink cabinet — general feeling of bathroom was not very inviting.

The , breakfast selections were very good. I like the fruit options, my husband enjoyed the waffles. The coffee was good (which is important for me). The location was good for us. It was easy to access the airport and visit with relatives. Small issue with the sink not draining (but was fixed the next day). I would prefer that the room be tidies up and trash empty daily, instead of every other day.

The main thing that stayed out to me is that while sitting in the parking lot for the Hampton I booked the hotel that was closest to me and I booked the wrong hotel. I had to call customer service and talk to Mohammed with Expedia. He was understanding and was able to get my reservations from Gastonia refunded so I could stay at this hotel where I was parked. The survey expired too quick for me to thank him and I could not thank him enough. For the actual Hampton Inn, the night clerk was great positive and friendly.

The staff welcomed us on Christmas day, and even gave us an early check in option because they had the availability which was great after driving for 18 hours. The property is well maintained and clean with all the amenities that you need.

We loved our stay everything was amazing. The staff was so friendly. The room was so clean and the hotel was so festive decorated for Christmas and they even had little coloring area for the kids and a hot cocoa station. It was perfect thank you.

The entire facility was immaculately clean. Particularly the bathroom and guest room. An exceptional value for the price paid. Breakfast was great as was the staff.

I liked the cleanliness and proximity to things we wanted to do. Bed too wobbly, mattress sinks, pillows awful. We expected our beds turned and towels refreshed only to come back in the evening to unmade bed and dirty towels. Breakfast is awful. lack fruits, and variety.

It was a good location for an evening at Christmas Town. Also, Belmont is a very nice little town. The property itself was very basic. The breakfast area was nice, and breakfast was quite good. I actually paid for 2 rooms…ours plus my son and his wife who were on the 4th floor. We all arrived at 3 for check-in. My son got checked in right away, but my husband and I didn’t get into our room until 3:20 which wasn’t good as we had plans to go out. Our room was on the first floor which was convenient, but I definitely didn’t like autos parked outside our window. The hotel is quite basic, nothing special. The hotel is old, and could use updating.

Breakfast was available at 6 am which was nice bc we had an early flight. Comfy bed and pillows.

The breakfast had a very good assortment of hot and cold food and was well stocked. Cookies were left out throughout the day for guests and the communal area was clean inviting. The hotel staff were kind and very accommodating.

Very nice hotel, clean and comfortable, good breakfast with a very friendly service attendant that was running the whole thing by herself (tip to management-- she needs extra help, a raise, or both, because she was doing an incredible job despite being stretched thin!) Very quiet and convenient to Belmont Abbey College and the adorable downtown area.

The breakfast the next morning was varied and plentiful as well as tasty. We were able to leave on our next leg of our journey right on time!

The convenience to the highway. The property was fine but I didn’t like the $250 deposit to stay the night. It should be clearly listed when the property is selected.

The location is convenient as we have family nearby, but we don’t plan to come back. Our first time didn’t have electrical power near the bed and we had to change rooms after we had already started unpacking. The second room had a privacy shade that didn’t work. It took forever to get hot water in the shower. When we complained, we were advised to run the cold water in the sink while showering! There was no bathmat, so we had to use an hand towel for the floor. And all communication with the front desk necessitated going down in person. There was a phone in the room, but calling the desk or housekeeping always resulted in a busy signal.

Staff was super friendly. Breakfast was great! The only minor complaint was the shower. There was very little water pressure and the doors were REALLY hard to slide open and closed but these were trivial. Everything else was perfect. Would def recommend and stay again on our next trip to Belmont!

We never got any service on our room over the 3 night stay. It said we would get service every other day. That was very disappointing and we mentioned it to the desk staff and they just said sorry. No effort to make things amend. Disappointing. PRior stay was not like this. I would not return to this location again.

The breakfast was convenient and tasty and Beverly was great keeping it clean and stocked and available to help. Beds were a little soft and bouncy but that’s a preference thing. This hotel was so quiet which I appreciated. The breakfast was great-lots of variety and the breakfast area and seating areas were clean.

Location was near my son's house so short ride to visit him. I have been to this hotel on several occasions and it has always been a wonderful stay

The bathroom need major improvements to them. There was little to no water pressure and hotwater. The shower had luke warm water coming out of it on high setting. There was no hand soap to wash your hands in the sink had to buy a bar of soap.

Not our usual Hampton Inn experience. The hotel was not as clean as usual, the bathroom was grimy and the handheld sprayer worked poorly. We could easily hear the guests in the next room and in the hallway. Overall a mediocre experience

Room 419. Most everything was great: clean, no odors or masking odors. It was quiet as well. Excellent continental breakfast. The only issue was that the electrical outlet in the bathroom didn't work (outlet on the right side of the mirror). Otherwise super.

I had a wonderful stay at the property. Wonderful people at the reception desk. I lost my car keys in the parking lot when I returned from my work office and they called me the next morning to ask me if I misplaced my car keys. It was such a relief. And breakfast was delicious. I will be staying there again next month. Thank you!

Checking was not so great. Patrice was not very kind or helpful given the circumstances. We needed a reservation for an additional day, and she said that we could go online to try to get the same rate, but would not offer a courtesy wifi password (even though we would be staying there) because the cell coverage was poor. In the end, we did get basically the same rate. On the other hand, Tyler (dressed as Wednesday for Halloween) was fantastic. Helping us with our booking out and in again under two separate reservations.

They were dealing with afternoon of hurricane Helene so kind of hectic, one roll of toilet tissue, but overall decent stay.

Hotel was amazing bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly. Pubic hair in toilet and what appeared to be fecal matter dried up on outside of toilet seat. Other than that room was cleaned just fine. Paid too much for toilet not to be cleaned properly. I cleaned it up myself. I would stay here again just have someone else clean toilet properly. Best front desk service I’ve ever had

Everything was very well done: the hotel was clean, the room the same and spacious, and the continental breakfast better than most. The bathroom was designed particularly well--my wife loved it. Overall, the best hotel we have stayed at during our visits to the Charlotte area.

We just stayed here for a night because we were headed to St. Pete for a Rays baseball game.

Very good stay

The room appeared clean. But discovered it had fleas. The property accepts animals so that was most likely why. We discovered this at 6:30am, and checked out immediately. That was NOT our original plan by far and threw off the rest of our day and trip, which included having to use flea bombs for our car and home when we returned...a huge inconvenience beyond just leaving the room.

It was ok, no better or worse than at other places

We stayed here because of a soccer camp at nearby Belmont Abbey. The hotel is beautiful with a friendly staff. The grounds are right next to an old Benedictine cemetery (kind of interesting). It’s just a short drive into downtown Belmont where there are many restaurants and gorgeous old homes. We felt safe and it was very close to Charlotte. The breakfast was also really good! We will definitely stay here again when we are in Belmont:)

hotel is located within a few miles of my relatives in NC...I stay here several times each year...always first rate...

We've stayed at the property previously and had good service. We will stay again if needed in this area.

The breakfast was great, staff very friendly. Great price over all. The only downside was the pool needed skimming and our mini fridge wasn’t cold. Other than that it was wonderful.!
