on my bed and trash in my room . All the grounds are so dirty all over Bar was nothing like the pictures they only had a few beers or wine eating area was closed so we could not order any food BBQ were so dirty also lots of dog hair in our room it was just gross . we left 1 day early after are first night

Loved the property. Staff, grounds amazing, only problem is they don’t have an elevator. They have 3 levels. My mom can’t walk up stairs. Otherwise was amazing.

The main drawback was the property grounds. There was quite a bit of debris, trash, and construction materials scattered around, which brought down the overall experience. It felt unfinished and could use some attention before guests arrive. Overall a decent stay with a solid concept. Just needs better upkeep of the common areas and clearer communication around pool access.

We visited during remodel. There were several containers, forklifts and regular construction traffic during the day. We were in a remodeled room that was very nice, clean and had all the imentities we needed. I would have lived to have had more USB plugs in the room. Breakfast was good. Lots of choices for a light, healthy breakfast and a full meal breakfast. The staff was nice; at check in there was an issue with the system. They took it with grace and were pleasant as we all waited. The property is close to the highway with easy access to San Francisco.

I liked the complimentary breakfast and the remote location of the hotel. It’s quiet and easy access to go in and out of your room and the car parking lot. Good service and staff is pretty responsive to questions and concerns.

The bedsheets were dirty and it took the staff over three hours to arrive with clean sheets. Floor was very dirty. Door knobs were loose and wall trims were coming apart.

Breakfast was horrible, even my dog didn’t eat the eggs. Bananas were brown, oranges old and potatoes didn’t taste like anything. All furnitures were old and scratched

The room was dirty. One of the beds had a a spider on it and the other had blood stains. The overall cleanliness was poor. But they are remodeling the property which is scheduled to be done by 2027. The best part of the stay was the breakfast. They had the usual offerings of eggs, meat, and potato. A nice surprise was the waffles. Something to note, parking is $15.

Room was rather clean but could understand reason for renovations that were being done while staying there. Breakfast was timely with a variety of foods; friendly cooking staff. Room kitchen was not equipped with basic cooking equipment (pots/pans) but it was basically clean.

The place is really neat. I like the set up of our room. I feel like I'm home.

Rooms large, well equipped and clean. Breakfast very poor quality, served with plastic cutlery, plastic cups and paper plates. Location not near to any restaurants or bars or, well, anything. Hotel bar closed at 10. No restaurant at hotel as far as I could tell.

We felt very much at home with the property. The only rip off is $15 per day parking charges.

I had an amazing experience staying here. Took my kiddos and they had a blast. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was nice and staff was very helpful and super sweet. Will definitely stay here again.

They are re-modelling the whole units. It looks a little outdated with the current condition. Some damages and stains on the carpet. But overall it well maintained bed, bathroom looks really clean. Comes with cooking pans, glasses, coffee mugs and utensils. Very happy with our stay.

With renovations ongoing made for excessive noise daily. Parking was scarce do to large trash containers and equipment occupying the spaces. Location of the property was excellent.

Rooms are clean, the hallway leading to my room was filled with renovation debris, old furniture, and mops and buckets.

The hotel is currently being renovated. My wife and I were upgraded from a one bedroom to a two bedroom suite so we would be away from the work being done. The two bedroom suite is set up great and would be a good choice for two couples. Everything ran smoothly, we didn't feel any disruption. This is our hotel choice every time we come to town. Staff is helpful and attentive. I left my kindle in our room, it was found and is being held until we return. Thank you staff. Looking forward to bar and restaurant being re opened.

Never had breakfast bcs I worked too early. Only issue was I stayed on the third floor and there were no elevators.

The hotel was nice and staff really helpful. The construction didn't bother us because we were not in the room when they were working. The only thing was right on the others idea of my bed the air conditioner unit kept kicking on everything 30 min and I could feel the vibration and it sounded like an airplane. It happened all night. But room was nice.

Friendly staff that's happy to answer questions. The room was clean and spacious. We had everything needed to cook dinner. It was like a home away from home. Great for family travel, we will definitely stay here again.

We asked for an extra blanket and we never received it. We asked for a band aid and there was none available.

The room set-up was very nice. The room had an interior door and exterior door. The exterior door is located inside one of the bedrooms. Outside the hotel there was street racing going on for most of the night!

The location was nice The smell from the water in the pond. The flies were all around my door. There was lots of napkins behind couch trash and wrappers around bed,that were dirty. Blind were broken. No ice maker in room or dish soap.

We rented a trio room, but unfortunately the AC and TV were not working. Despite reporting the issue, we were not moved until late at night. When they finally relocated us, it was to a double queen room that costs significantly less than what we originally paid. No credit or refund was offered for the inconvenience or price difference. Overall, very disappointing experience.

Arrived with a group of music students on Thursday, March 19. At 9:30 the kids were told the pool was closed, even though didn’t close until 10. We were aka told that there was a “noise ordinance” and that after the first noise complaint the cops would be called, and if there was a second complaint we would be evicted.

Very good amenities, property is a bit older - as long as you don’t mind that. The pool is by far top notch.

We booked a trio room and were pleasantly surprised by how spacious it was. Having two bathrooms was a great feature and made it much easier for our group to get ready without waiting. The complimentary breakfast was good, with enough options to start the day. We also appreciated the convenient kitchen setup in the room, which was helpful for preparing simple meals and storing snacks. One downside was that the room is advertised as smoke-free, but there was a noticeable cigarette smell when we arrived. It didn’t completely ruin the stay, but it was disappointing given the smoke-free policy. Overall, it’s a practical and comfortable choice for travelers looking for space, convenience, and easy freeway access.

For the price, it was okay. The bed was comfortable, place pretty quiet, parking was good. My room would not lock when my daughter and I had to leave for her tournament, and there was no maintenence person for a good couple hours. So we had to leave our room unlocked unattended because there was only one person at the desk. We were almost late to get to our venue. Because of this and had to rush out not knowing if our belongings were safe. I had to keep calling to see if it was fixed. It was not fixed until quite a few hours later. We had to leave at 6am and it was dark outside. I really liked the place, but this was so stressful. I definitely could've found something cheaper without the stress of wondering if my room was locked or anyone was even checking on it. I had to keep calling them instead of being updated as to what was happening because we had to leave.

And the room/view/location.. We were here just for a school event but everything here made it feel like a relaxing vacation! The room was spotless, huge, stocked with everything we needed, had comfortable beds and was SO peaceful. The pool and outdoor areas were fun, inviting and felt more like a resort than your average hotel. The breakfast was also much better than usual and everyone loved it. But hands down my favorite thing was the view. We had the little lake right outside of our windows and it was so awesome to watch the tide ebb and flow under the full moon. It smelled wonderful and kind of felt like the beach listening to all of the happy birds enjoying it. It was also very close to a great nature trail that led to the bay full of wildflowers and even more birds etc. It's long and would've been great with bikes or a run so definitely worth packing good shoes if you want to explore it all. And lastly, sometimes it's the small things that put it over the top, but it is going to be hard going back to a normal room after having TWO decent sized bathrooms for teenagers to get ready! Much easier!!

Great location, friendly staff, it’s a nice place and was convenient for where we had to go. Also liked it had a kitchen. Our room wasn’t clean. The kitchen area wasn’t very clean also. There were crumbs on top of the microwave and on the refrigerator. I had to scoot the nightstand away from the wall to get to the outlet. There was a tube of something behind it and layer of dirt on the carpet. It just felt unclean after seeing that.

The floor wasn't vacuum in rooms. Maintenance can in twice one at 930 and one at 9:45 and we hadn't even checked out

Well located nearby a freeway onramp in redwood shores. Lobby area looked nice and that was about it. I did not have time to try breakfast or see the amenity spaces. The third floor walkup would have been helpful to tell customers before booking and before giving me the keys. Parking lot got a little seedy at night with some people hanging around that may or may not have been other guests. Heard a lot of other noises from neighboring rooms. The way the rooms are arranged is people can walk by all of your windows and see in, so I had to keep the blinds closed the whole time.

I liked the breakfast choices. Good variety of hot and cold to choose from. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. I was staying with my brother so he could convalece after surgery. The cable connection was not good.

Suite Room is fair clean, amenities is good, staff is friendly, free breakfast is good. The only downside is there’s only 3 channels on cable there’s no cartoons for kids to entertain. My Netflix account is too complicated to connect on TV .So family is just so bored during the night because there’s nothing to do but play with their phones.

Very nice hotel but a little concerning about cleanliness. We found 2 touches during our stay. It was a nice layout. We neede 2 separate bedrooms and were very comfortable. The living room was comfortable and the kitchen and room size as also nice. My family didn’t like the bugs

Room wasn't very clean. Cobwebs in several corners with some bugs that I needed to eradicate with a tissue. Long black hair on one of the "clean" bathroom towels. Garbage had been unemptied and was overflowing with trash under the kitchen sink. Kitchen refrigerator was very loud, had to close bedroom doors to shut out the noise. Climate control terrible. Whether I set to heat or A/C it would blow cold air, not appreciated in winter. Seating ok in dining/living room and bed very comfortable. If I were staying several nights I would have advised the staff. For short stay I tolerated the issues. If these items were addressed could be 3-star motel (units have outside access). In current condition I rate 1.5 or 2 star.

Under Staff, borrow a vacuum to clean up my kitchen but never got. I had to go get my own towels to lobby.

Great for families, large unit with separate rooms. Excellent kitchen. Reasonable parking. Only downside is that it’s far from SFO, expect 30-45 minute drive, worth it!

Check in was a breeze. Got a complimentary upgrade to a two bedroom which was perfect since I do have a teen and a preteen. The place was clean and the location was perfect. Have a sense of quiet and tranquility.

It was nice but noisy, you can hear traffic from 101 and other guests which sucks if you’re a light sleeper so I suggest some ear plugs. Family friendly, great breakfasts, parking was easy. We enjoyed the walk around the neighborhood but in the complex there was a lot of overflowing trash which attacked raccoons. Great for an extended stay if you have kids. Beds were comfortable.

Excellent customer service!

First stay here and the room was spacious for a family of four. The hot breakfast was also convenient. Our room faced the still water pond. It created an awful smell and there were a lot of mosquitos. The walkway to our room needed much cleanup from all the dog walking as well. I would be hesitant to refer my family or friends to this location.

I stayed in one of the first-floor suites, and there must have been some water damage, as the shades were black at the bottom with water stains. There was a black bag right by my suite, which looked like it was there to keep water away. My shades looked like black mold. The kitchen ceiling light had dead bugs in it. A few days into my stay, I smelled something horrible coming from the kitchen. I told the staff, and all they did was clean the room and spray some deodorizer on it. I believe it was a dead rodent under the fridge or stove. I asked to move rooms which they provided to me a much better room. I had to pack up for one night and move everything over. It would have been nice for the staff to ask if I would like some help, but that was not given. I have a hard time walking, and using the cart to go across the other side of the buildings was difficult. As I went to return the cart to the hotel, a raccoon jumped out right in front of me. He hissed but ran away. I found garbage scattered all over the ground where employees would typically dispose of it in the dumpster. It was clear that the garbage had been left there and could have been easily disposed of. On my way back from dropping off the cart, the raccoon was back. The pool was nice, but unfortunately, for 4 days, the many leaves at the bottom of it were not taken care of. It looked dirty at the bottom, and on the last day I was there, it was finally cleaned.

I have stayed there many times before, but the property is tired and needs repair. My icemaker did not work and after three service people it still didn't work. Never did. The breakfast used to be a lot better with more variety. Very disappointed. Overall, the property needs a good refresh.

The two bedroom suite was more than we needed, but it was pretty cool!

The pool was dirty both days we were there and it wasn’t too warm. The breakfast was ok. They did provide us with plenty of towels when we asked and some extra pillows. The check in girl in the evenings was very nice. You do have to pay for parking unless you have a handicap pass. Unfortunately we did find some trash from the previous guest in our room which was a bummer

Great service and location

The staff was very friendly when we checked in. The property is setup like a time share. Meaning they have bbq grills for us, a basketball court, small workout gym and a pool. We had a two bedroom which was spacious and clean with a kitchen. It was everything we look for in a room for our trip.

Room was supposed to sleep up to 6 people but anyone sleeping on the living room foldout had to walk through a bedroom to use the bathroom. 3rd floor room with no elevators. Otherwise comfortable beds, nice shower, nice pool and quiet

While the property could use some upgrades (carpet especially) the staff was excellent. We moved from another property down the road and this was much better.

Girls in the front were so nice! They were sisters! Also a lady in the night was also very helpful!

Overall it was a good stay. We had family with me and we cooked two bedrooms suite. Room space was okay. Bathrooms were little small. The kitchen and living area were spacious and the kitchen had sufficient amenities to cook. We wish we could have a few more pans. The breakfast buffet had limited options and people were waiting for refills. They could add more options of fruits and vegetarian options. The location was kind of at center of places we were going. Outside areas were not cleaned properly. There were many spider webs at the stairs, also the lawn area was not properly maintained.

Only complaint would be about guests above us on the 3rd floor. Kids were running around so we had to hear the noise at night. Everything else was great.

Terrible

They allowed someone to stay out at the pool area all night and drink and smoke. My daughter didn’t sleep the whole night. Otherwise I like this property I planned on returning but this was out of hand.

This hotel looks great, yet they offered for me to stay in: Grand Bay Hotel San Francisco which totally exceeded my expectations. After hard working day, I felt like I’m on vacation. I’m so grateful for ALL accommodations!! The best service!!

I’ve stayed here before. I always clean the bathroom and tub before I use it. The bath tub was dirty and the shower curtain that would have gone in the shower was filthy. And the soap dish was broken which could have scratched one of my kids. Even more disgusting before I got a chance to do a walk through I usually get on the floor and see if I can see anything since I have a 1 year old that puts things in her mouth.There was also an old piece of chicken my daughter found and put in her mouth. I asked my husband what did you feed her? He said nothing! I was horrified!

Front desk personnel wonderful, accommodating. Breakfast beverages and food were well made. Grounds are basically a parking lot. This facility was previously Garden Apts or built to look like one. Rooms were generally clean but dated. Plastic toilet seats that wouldn’t stay up, soiled carpets & corporate telephones that didn’t work.

My wife has a corporate membership for Hyatt/Sheraton/Hilton and most other major hotels chains. I booked a last minute getaway for us on Hotels.com not knowing she had all these other memberships. Upon checking in, we wanted to use her membership, but this was not allowed because it was booked through a 3rd party. Had to pay $30 parking and a higher daily fee. If I cancelled, I would be charged 1 day rate. I understand that this is the policy, but because of Hyatt not willing to recognize any membership perks, this is discouraging me from wanting to book through a 3rd party again. I'm not sure if I would even want to book through Hyatt either due to the fact that we have been a loyal customer of theirs for years. In regards to the property, it's a bit outdated. The waterfront property is connected to the tidal system, so when it's low tide, the nicely reflected water looks more like a watering hole and a mud pit. On the positive side, there is plenty of room within the 2 bedroom suite with everything furnished. That being said, our conflict with the membership issue is a major concern and probably a deciding factor when booking our next getaway.

Like I said, we stayed here before due to their 2 room suites but it seems that their rooms have taken a beaten since. The staff did offer to return our parking fee as a courtesy for the shower incident. But honestly, I’d rather pay for parking fee and have a working shower and clean carpet.

This was definitely NOT the same hotel as described online. Gaps in the exterior door so bad you could see light coming through in 3 areas. The bathroom door slides and it was so hard (because of rusty rollers) that you almost couldn’t get the door closed. There’s no handle on the door, so you had to put your fingers into the door’s inset areas and push as hard as you could as fast as you could push. Ridiculous that it was allowed to be this bad. The housekeeping service was sporadic and lousy. The refrigerator rattled every couple of hours and we noticed the ice maker was turned off. We turned it back on and though it solved the rattle, it wouldn’t stop dumping ice out. It obviously had something broken inside. The Manager of Housekeeping or the Hotel Manager should be fired. We reported the lack of housekeeping THREE times and had to get our own towels on 3 occasions even after confirming that our room was to be cleaned twice. Though we will be in this area again in the future, we will NEVER stay at this hotel again.

Restaurants and shopping are close for driving, but not really convenient to walk to. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The staff was all extremely friendly, and the breakfast was hot and well-stocked. Rooms are large, and it was nice having a full kitchen with pots/pans/dishes/utensils already in the drawers (no need to call front desk). Pool was surprisingly warm considering it was mid February. Our 3 homeschool families would definitely stay here again.

I have stayed at this Hyatt House many times and they have always been very accommodating and kind. I’ve been there so many times now they even remembered me my last stay.

There were a few things that stood out-multiple stains on comforter, old uncomfortable pullout mattress, shower head coming off shower wall, hair on toilet and floor, dirty dish sponge. The breakfast was a nice amenity.

This is a great hotel. It’s set up like a 2 bedroom apartment and each room has a separate bathroom. It makes traveling with your kids a lot easier!

I loved everything about the property except the paid parking. It is outdoors, not covered, and didn't seem to have any security. Also, no elevators!

This hotel was fantastic. We were lucky enough to have our room upgraded to a bigger one due to the original room we booked sold out. We now plan to always stay here and book the bigger room on our next visits. The hotel was quiet, the bedding was very comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare our own food.

The rooms are comparable to a nice 1 bedroom apartment, they are stocked with dishes and utensils. The grounds are nice and perfect for walking, even a court for Basketball. You can get beautiful sunsets looking towards the Western Hills. Breakfast is good, a bit disappointed that they are working on the kitchen and we’re unable to grab a bite for dinner but plenty of stores and restaurants within on 5-10 min drive. This will always be my first choice coming back to the area.

The hotel location is very convenient. It feels like a time share . The front desk was very friendly . Rooms were spacious with kitchen. If you stay on the bottom floor, you can hear the top floors walking early in the morning .

Everything was great - just be aware the Expedia app says that breakfast on the weekends starts at 6 AM, but it really doesn’t start till 7 AM. I didn’t bring anything for breakfast because we had planned on eating at the hotel, but had to be to our sports tournament at 7 AM.

We got in late and the room was not stocked with what we needed. I’m not even sure the room was cleaned there was blood on the blanket and the room had a horrible smell of fish.
