Great inexpensive room in the heart of Silicon Valley. The check in process was quick and comfortable!

A basic motel. Go to Treasure Chinese restaurant within easy walking distance for a great dinner.

Wonderful staff, fast internet for work, convenient location - had everything I needed for my 3 night stay.

Very friendly staff. Now for the important stuff: - Comfortable bed and pillows - Desk and chair for work - TV with lots of channels - Good water pressure - Quality soaps - Toilets that flush The only thing missing that I would have liked is a safe in the room. Great location and price. I would stay there again.

I’ve been coming here for a couple years now, I love the area, I love the staff. The rooms are always clean and smell fresh. I think it’s cause they open the windows and not let stale air stay within the rooms. Not much I didn’t like, walking distances to other places.

Great and comfortable placer

Loved the location. EZ parking off El Camino. Super comfortable mattress. My room was very quiet. I would not hesitate to return, McDonalds was down the street for a quick breakfast and Shalizaar down the street for upscale excellent dinner.

Amazing stay.

Room was very clean. Had everything we needed even a microwave. A few places don’t have microwaves anymore. Nothing. It’s was up to our expectations.

Plus the room was nice and clean but on night two was when I saw a cockroach. So I called the front desk and the same man that checked me in came into my room and took the roach out with a tissue and said that he will contact pest control to raid the whole room (or just the bathroom) but overall nice enough stay.

Friendly staff, great location.

I was surprised at check-in that it was through a glass wall with a drawer to pass things back and forth. I was not expecting that and it was very impersonal and made we wonder if it was safe. The woman who helped me was friendly though. The room was spacious but the towels were quite thin and there wasn't enough bedding; we were cold and had to turn on the heat. But the unit was a bit loud and it was hard to sleep when it was on. In the middle of one of the nights, someone took a shower or bath next door and the pipes were so loud it kept us awake. The woman who checked us in did help me when I needed something and she even came to the room which was very nice.

There were many nice restaurants and shops in walking distance and it was a very nice and convenient location. The bed was excellent and it is so nice to have the managers on property.

Vintage motel vibes, lovingly maintained. Shashi at check in was warm and welcoming. The room clean and the bed comfortable. The price was a welcomed relief and the area was walkable. I would definitely recommend!

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a clean, comfortable, peaceful place to stay at a great price. The management is very accommodating, welcoming and has such a wonderful personality. Always smiling and happy even when I wake her up early early morning to give her my key when I check out. Public transportation, Shopping and food are all walking distance. You can't find a place to stay better than Hotel Belmont.

They were painting so I needed to move my car. That's actually a good thing. Very nice safe parking. Deer come and graze near benches.

I was pleasantly surprised. I booked the room on Hotels.com and got a great rate. The room was clean and everything in the room was in good working order. I felt safe in the area, food and stores were close by, and the check-in process was easy. The area was quiet. I especially appreciated the ability to extend my check-out time to 12pm as I had overslept. This is definitely a nice place to stay especially if you are on a budget. I will stay again when I'm in town.

It was a comfortable room with a good bed, the matress was in good shape, firm but soft.

This is a great place to be

Room was clean and quiet. Staff wasn't friendly on check in. I'd suggest bringing one's own pillows as the foam pillows were not conducive to sleep. It's unfortunate that the price is so high for motels in this area.

It’s within walking distance of Iberia, a fabulous little Tapas bar/Spanish restaurant. It was fine for one night.

I tried the fan on the unit but very little air I called the office. He wasn't very helpful.

Excellent location for catching the train. Had to unplug the mini fridge due to it rattling when operating.

Clean and quiet.

When you walked on the bathroom floors they were very sticky, my slipper stuck to the floors. The floor was uneven. There was not a safety lock/latch on the door. We had to prop a chair against it. The door did not close tightly. There was a constant smell of someone smoking from downstairs and drifted upstairs. Very stinky! The door card did not work half of the time and had to constantly get another one. Would not recommend or stay there.

I was scared to be in that area and the bed was the most uncomfortable ever!

The Hotel/Motel was a good place to stay before flying out of SFO. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable.Traffic noise from road was minimal for the location. Lots of amenities nearby.

WE WERE ABLE TO CHECK IN BEFORE 3 WITH NO HASSLE AND WE SLEPT GREAT NO NOISE ALL NIGHT

The hot water was to hot. No anti slip in the bath tub.

It is OK for nights

We were in the area for a Dr appointment at Stanford for my grandson. This motel is small, but convenient. Staff at check in was very polite and courteous. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. There is a McDonalds next door, which was an easy dinner for my grandson. We would stay here again.

Need toothbrush

I really wanted to like this hotel, when we got there the manager had not set up a room for us (I guess he hadn’t checked Hotels.con to see that we had a booking) despite the fact we had booked a week in advanced. Because of this the only room he could put us in was the “extra” room that they usually don’t rent out. It was right under the stairs and by the ice machine, the ice machine was so loud during the night that we couldn’t leave the window open and there was a lot of foot traffic. I wouldn’t stay here alone.

Older but reasonably nice hotel. Clean rooms, good price, easy check-in, friendly staff. Good open air parking. Do note the 7' 6" height limit on entry area. Will definitely stay here again.

Tremendous value for the room rate. Conveniently located with walking distance from late night food and centered perfectly for SF penninsula attractions. My room was very clean and the staff was very polite and responsive when I needed a second key. Love this place.

Very clean room, comfortable bed, affordable price, convenient location to drive to Half Moon Bay, unfortunately walls are too thin and we heard the shower below us loudly.

Older property, but updated and clean and comfortable. Great shower and towels that newer properties have not had. Coffee, fridge, microwave for convenience. Comfortable bed and two chairs, which some newer properties don't have. Both nights, though, we were awakened by "domestic violence" arguments by other customers, with loud profanity and screaming. We did not feel threatened by it, just troubled. Staff was courteous and efficient. The location was perfect for what we needed, (College of San Mateo football game, Saturday).

Clean, safe and comfortable. The man who checked us in was kind and welcoming. He asked if we would like room service while we were out and I said “no thank you, but can I come to ask you for coffee if I need it?” He said yes, but when we got in the next day he had already brought me a new basket of coffee. I thought that was great!

The office lady was polite. Didn’t have a problem with parking. Room didn’t look very clean. And the toilet wasn’t working properly.

Hotel Belmont is a good budget place when what you need is a warm bed for the night. It is a no frills, affordable motel with a few minor maintenance and house-keeping issues but the office staff was friendly and helpful and addressed my needs quickly, the room was clean and the part of town appears to be reasonably safe. I would stay there again.

Staff is friendly and accommodating. It’s not fancy, but If you’re looking for a nice budget stay, it is clean and quiet, bed is comfortable, tv is quality.

This place is right out of one of those places in Coen brothers movie. When I walked up the stairs to my room the window was open and just a flimsy screen on. It was late I'm thinking nice security. Next to a UHaul facility. Its in the bottom of places I ever stayed at. I booked 4 days after 1 night I'm sucked it up and paid to go to a real place. If you're a woman traveling alone avoid. It was creepy and needs a massive upgrade.
