This was a cute little hotel. Staff was friendly. Place is well maintained. Didn’t use any of the amenities so can’t speak to those. Has a little of an old smell in the hallways but it is clean nonetheless. On the go breakfast is a plus.

Amazing location. Fantastic service. Beautiful...
- 2.5/5
The location is excellent, right next to a beautiful park and Bellevue Square; my room was very spacious and nicely equipped. A continental breakfast was included and it was exactly that, so I shouldn't complain, but I still didn't enjoy it.
- 4/5
Location, cleanliness, renovated suite, kitchen, large unit, king bed, free parking, good value for money There is no breakfast, just some snacks, fruits and pastries. Corridors a bit smelly, room would benefit from some fresh air.
- 5/5
Excellent service. We will return.
- 5/5
The room was clean, comfortable. It was just an overnight stay but satisfied.
- 5/5
Our 2 rooms like 1 bedroom condo, new, clean and fully equipped kitchen. We will stay here again, Bellevue area is nice and safe. All our uber drivers said the same about Bellevue
- 5/5
Good location for access to Seattle and transportation
- 5/5
Excellent place to stay. Our room included a patio/balcony and a king bed. The kitchen was well equipped. The apartment was very comfortable. The location is near a beautiful park and lots of places to eat. The only less than ideal thing was breakfast - it was pre-packaged items along with coffee and juice. However I still found something to eat. If I were in Seattle I’d make a point of staying here again!
- 5/5
Room very clean, nice location
- 4/5
Loved the location, walked to the park and darling Main Street with great food choices. The hotel was a little tired and breakfast was all processed, packaged foods. But the price was fair for what you got. Room was clean!

We were only there for one night but it was perfect for our situation. We were traveling with our dogs, and this was the only place that would allow 3 pups. The place was super clean albeit a bit outdated. The room was super quiet, and the neighborhood was perfect for walking the dogs. Plenty of parking around the building. We will be coming back next time we are in the city.

Good place to stay

Good place to stay
- 4/5
It’s clean and quiet. Location is great. Amenities are just okay. Breakfast was much smaller than I anticipated.
- 2/5
Breakfast consisted of overly sugared cereals and pop tarts and very sugared unappetizing pastries wrapped in céllo.
- 5/5
Room was spotless, very nice remodel. Staff was very attentive and easy to deal with.
- 4/5
Very good
- 5/5
It could use a little updating in the rooms, especially the kitchen, but functional.
- 4/5
Lovely sweets at checkin. Close to 2 parks, old town Bellvue, and the lake. We could walk to all with ease. Breakfast was easy and good to grab on the run. The apartment style room was a home away from home. Free Parking was on site. Popcorn in the couch. Dirty placemats. Had to keep resetting the toilet flusher.

Courteous staff. Nice coffee and tea station too. Walkable area

- 4/5
The location was perfect. Right downtown within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and parks. The room was spacious and had everything you could need. Staff were attentive and kind. The price was great. The building itself was older and the air was a bit stuffy, but clean and comfortable.
- 3/5
Old , small size furniture, small shower
- 4.5/5
Breakfast was satisfactory - very convenient and met our needs nicely. Staff very pleasant and responsive to requests. Suite comfortable. Great location central but in quiet area. Bathroom small and shower handle difficult to turn on. Television remotes were confusing - having instructions would have been quite helpful.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Breakfast was just pre-wrapped pastries. Waffles for breakfast.
- 5/5
nice place
- 5/5
Clean, nice kitchen and large enough to feel like a 1 bedroom apartment during my stay.
- 5/5
I have stayed here twice and will again. The management and staff are friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very clean and you have everything you need. This hotel is a little older but is a great option in the heart of Bellevue downtown.
- 5/5
The room was very spacious, the kitchen was stocked with anything you could need. The staff is extremely helpful. This is quite a gem, especially for the price!
- 5/5
She even had some free ice skating tickets for our family of 5 to go iceskating to the park nearby at the park, the food and the room was good, it had a door to separate the room from the living room to have privacy from the kiddos. We will definally come back great price, location and amazing staff :)
- 5/5
Significantly better than a regular hotel room and can’t beat the location! This will be our new “go to” lodging in Bellevue!
- 5/5
Older property but very clean. Bedding and towels very nice. Room had an unusual smell not horrible but different. I would stay there again.
- 5/5
Check in was easy. Staff was helpful and very friendly. Our electricity had gone out in our house so this was going to be a one night stay. At check in, they confirmed we could stay another night, if needed. The rooms are well furnished including kitchen dishes, etc
- 5/5
Great one, over all
- 4/5
Clean, spacious room with kitchen
- 5/5
Nice place.
- 3/5
The con's: the place feels dated with some things broken. Sink was dripping. Shower faucet was broken could not adjust temperature had to take cold showers two days in a row. The front desk attendant was not very enthusiastic about helping and nothing was done. Overall the stuff seemed to be unhappy to be there and not very friendly. Breakfast is very minimal best to fix your own in the kitchen.
- 3/5
Room was clean and nice sheets.
- 4/5
The location, staff and cleanliness was great! The hotel itself had an odd smell to it, could be due to age and although they were good quality products, the breakfast food items were all prepackaged snack items. For what I paid, I would've appreciated a hot continental breakfast of some kind. All the small for a hotel, there was ample parking, which I really appreciated, especially being downtown. The noise level while on the main street, was not bad during sleeping hours. We loved the fully loaded kitchen, ample livingroom area and closet space, but would've appreciated some kind of dead bolt or door lock. Safe area but we as single women would've felt safer. It was difficult to charge our devices in the bedroom because the wall plugs were loose. I would suggest having nightstand lamps that have built-in USB ports. 😊
- 5/5
The rooms are spacious, very clean and well-maintained and have a kitchen fully equipped with utensils. There's also a laundry room and gym. The kitchenette jn the lobby is always stocked with fruit, coffee and condiments and in the morning they have muffins, bagels, cereal etc. Larry and the team were so friendly and Peanut the hotel cat was the icing on the cake. Highly recommend!
- 4/5
Instead of staying in downtown area that is no free parking. The hotel satisfied my need of easy parking, walking distance to family gatherings. The price is a bit high for my booking, but overall the hotel meets the criteria it promise to have.
- 5/5
We stayed one night with our cat while traveling to Seattle to move my son back to UW. We usually stay near campus, but needed a cat friendly place that didn’t break the bank. This was fantastic! It was a FULL suite- 1 BR, living room with pull out couch (not bad), fully stocked kitchen with fridge, oven/stove, dishwasher, and a lovely bathroom and closet. We had plenty of space. It was clean. Pocket doors made it feel larger than it was :). Place was quiet, close to grocery (easy walk),a beautiful mall, Meydenbauer Bay Park. Would recommend and stay again!
- 4/5
Like a TV in the bedroom. More towels.
- 5/5
The hotel was wonderful. Quaint, a little dated but sweet and charming. I stayed to grab a flight in the morning. The continental breakfast did not disappoint. I will say, I went out to have a nice evening and got sucked into an army of rich families that had 14 year olds with prada bags. The people in the neighborhood are so entitled they will walk right into you as you hang onto edge of the sidewalk with on coming trafffic. I only mention this because it is a stark difference to the laid back cozy vibes this hotel offers and may not be what the vibe the typical person booking this hotel is looking for. If you plan to stay in and have a quiet evening thought, it's great.
- 3/5
The location is great. The accommodations are adequate. Very spacious but my room was located off a large deck that had acess from the general public and the door to the bedroom off the deck didn’t lock. I had to provide a makeshift security block. It was a bit uncomfortable.
- 5/5
Some smaller part are insufficient, like the lobby closes at 10, the breakfast is mainly packaged snacks, and lacks in some communication aspect (not rude, just misunderstood). But overall I like the room (better than Hyatt in the area) and would choose again.
- 5/5
Receptionst was super nice and very informative. Love the spacious room
- 5/5
Super close to Bel Sq and restaurants. Great location. Easy parking.
- 4/5
The property is very comfortable, the rooms are small apartments. Complete kitchen, spacious living room, dinning table for 4, good size room, very small bathroom. The back of the mall is across the street and the park is less than a block away. Staff very friendly.
- 5/5
This was our second stay there, and the second was as enjoyable as the first. The hotel is very nice (seems to have been a former apartment complex). The two rooms we've stayed in have been very nice, spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast is a little sparse, but not bad.
- 5/5
Love to stay on the 4th of July.. the fireworks seen from thier front porch is amazing!!
- 4/5
We did use a sound machine to fall asleep; if you’re bothered by car noise, bring ear plugs because we heard plenty of sport cars driving by. Rooms not soundproof, but still quiet. My other suggestion would be to dust the couches, something set off my allergies.
- 4/5
Spacious lodging. Enjoyed the third-floor patio and easy parking.
- 5/5
I believe that this was a former apartment building, now turned into hotel rooms. The room was very spacious, the bed was comfortable, as was all else. The location was also very convenient for walking, shopping and dining.
- 4/5
Great location. Spacious suite. Limited breakfast options of mostly dry cereal and packaged pastries.
- 5/5
Everything was great. It saying it has a breakfast is a little much. Just basically pop tarts and bagels. But still awesome
- 5/5
The room exceeded expectations. It had a full kitchen with stove/oven, mid-sized fridge, dishwasher, and garbage disposal. Kitchen drawers were well stocked for quick meals, and it was easy to clear space for our own food. Dining table for four, and living room with a hide-a-bed, extra bedding, and a 50" Roku TV. No cable—bring your own streaming logins. The system asks for your checkout time and says it deletes your info at that point. Bedroom had a king bed, 42" wall-mounted TV, two nightstands, and a 3-drawer dresser. Tons of storage—open shelves, bathroom drawers, and more than we’ve seen in any hotel. Two large windows allowed great airflow. AC/heater unit in the living room and a baseboard heater in the bedroom. A pocket door separates the living and sleeping areas. We loved the Bellevue skyline view at night. Very walkable location. For the price, this had more space and amenities than any other hotel we’ve stayed at in downtown Bellevue.
- 5/5
Is close to the mall and walking around the park for a family is very great staying recommended 💯
- 4/5
This gem was like an apartment more than a hotel. Very roomy, full kitchen, etc. The bed was very comfortable.
- 3/5
The location next to Bellevue Square is great. Parking is free. The rooms are very large with a full kitchen. The decor is older like the 70’s but clean. There are only about 30 rooms so it’s quieter than other hotels. The breakfast is minimal - one coffee station and no decaf, packaged bagels and pastries, cereal dispenser is flimsy and hard to work, only oat and almond milk. Limited business center and the copier was out of ink. One of the morning reception staff took forever to refill the coffee - told one person waiting that there was a Starbucks at Bellevue Square. The television is limited to Roku and so can’t watch CNN, MSNBC, ESPN, most local news stations, and a lot of other normally available TV. The WiFi was weak in some parts of my room - kept stalling out. Overall probably a good value unless you want more of a breakfast, better television, and attentive front desk service.
- 5/5
it was great
- 5/5
The availability of a kitchen with basic utencils was aplus. At check-in the receptionist listened to our concern from a previous review and changed rooms for us - appreciated.
- 5/5
La Residence is a sweet, older hotel. If you're seeking a modern boujee experience, this isn't it. It's a simple place with antique charm. I enjoyed it very much! Comes with a fully stocked kitchen which was a nice surprise. Staff were kind and courteous. Everything was very clean. Continental breakfast was simple but thoughtful.
- 3/5
Large rooms, lovely staff but there was a smell in room 43.
- 4/5
My only complaint would be that the breakfast was very limited. Milk for cereal was available only by request. The coffee was awful.
- 5/5
Good location and comfortable.
- 5/5
The property was safe, quiet, convenient for shopping and convenient for fine dining.
- 5/5
Quaint
- 3/5
Cons- smells old, very dated, shower did not work.
- 5/5
Clean, quiet and friendly staff
- 4/5
Nice hotel but bring your own water no water fountain
- 5/5
I really enjoyed the stay. Rooms were spacious suites and clean. I really appreciated the free parking and breakfast as well.
- 5/5
Our friends were in the adjoining room and with the doors open we could go in and out from either rooms, made it really convenient. Breakfast was so-so, there weren't very many options, no waffle maker, just some grab and go bakery items. There was gym but we didn't use it, I don't think there is a pool? Parking alongside the building, no underground or gated parkade, but the neighborhood is pretty quiet and felt safe.
- 5/5
Our stay was great, close walk to the square and friendly staff.
- 5/5
It was a good value, convenient, and spacious.
- 4/5
Convenient
- 5/5
Perfect. Spacious, quiet, comfortable.
- 5/5
Perfect small hotel
- 4/5
It was quiet and comfortable
- 5/5
Always very clean, though this time there were no place settings already present on dining room table despite it being standard every time we've stayed before. Staff are particularly gracious, always making sure out needs being met.
- 5/5
Wonderful staff, sweet hotel cat, easy walk to good restaurants, convenient parking.
- 5/5
Quiet, convenient and cute. Good comfy beds. Kids enjoyed the breakfast.
- 3/5
Property condition is a bit outdated.
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 5/5
Great place to stay! The furniture was a little older, but comfy.
- 4/5
We liked that the unit had a kitchen and included a continental breakfast.
- 4/5
Nice Kitchenette, which could be useful for folks staying a week or more. Bathroom needs updating.
- 4/5
The hotel is run by very friendly and helpful staff. While the sofa bed was unusable due to the thin mattress and torture springs, we made the comfy king bed work for us. This would be a 5 star review if the advertised sofa bed was in fact comfortable for sleeping. However, rooms are large with a full kitchen and with FREE parking and continental breakfast, it was the perfect option for us.
- 4/5
The property location is very convenient for everything.
- 5/5
This was perfect for us! Room was big, clean, and staff was friendly & very helpful! Parking was free and safe! A very walkable area!
- 5/5
all positive, except the sink in suite was plugged; otherwise great;
- 5/5
This hotel has it's own uniqueness, compared to other hotels that we've stayed in .We feel like we're home.
- 3/5
The flexible breakfast arrangement is good.
- 5/5
Everything was as expected. Thanks!
- 5/5
Also, not a big fan of Roku TV, I'd prefer the local cable TV
- 5/5
The staff was beyond kind & helpful. Housekeeping was excellent
- 5/5
10/10 service and large spacious rooms. Front desk and housekeeping were top-notch too!
- 5/5
Excellent location and easy walk ability. It was great to not have to pay an additional parking expense.
- 5/5
This is my second visit staying in this hote.
- 5/5
The staff were friendly and helpful. Price is reasonable for downtown. If you want a kitchen and separate bedroom it perfect. It’s a short walk to the park and the mall.
- 4/5
friendly staff, clean, convinient
- 5/5
I didn’t like the noise our neighbors made late at night. They were loud and the staff didn’t do anything about it. Everything else was fine. We liked the proximity to both the event I attended during the day and the shopping my wife enjoyed.
- 5/5
Very clean and quiet. The grab and go breakfast was great with a lot of options. Would stay here again.
- 5/5
My daughter and I stayed here during the repairs of our house's plumbing, and it was a quiet and comfortable experience. It truly felt like a cozy and inviting home, not just a hotel.
- 5/5
Thank you for everything. It was a great stay
- 5/5
Hotel staff were friendly. The rooms are spacious and clean. Close walk to downtown Bellevue. Mall access across the street. Highly recommend this hotel.
- 5/5
Great place to stay and easy walking distance to everything!
- 5/5
Room conditions so clean and good
- 5/5
The staff are friendly and responsive to request that arise. Good selection for grab & go breakfast. Beds & rooms are spacious & comfortable. Larry on the staff is always there with a smile & warm greeting.
- 3/5
Got better after that.
- 5/5
This is an older apartment building that has been turned into a hotel. It is family run and although it’s older they have done some really nice touches to bring it up to date & modern. Nice furniture & accessories in our room & throughout the hotel. We stayed in a one bedroom which would be considered an apartment. Kitchen fully equipped & the king bed, bedding etc was very comfortable. Rooms are very spacious and it was very clean. Excellent location, all walkable, if wanting to shop, dine or catch a movie around the Bellevue Square area. The continental breakfast bar which was included with our stay was great!
- 5/5
This is a way better option than Airbnb, you aren't going to have to do a list of things when you leave lol. Check in was simple, parking was right out front on a very safe street. Bellevue is a really nice suburb and is super safe, we walked everywhere from the hotel. Shopping across the street(giant upscale mall)and so many restaurants, in Old Town or around the shopping and museum area. There is also a beautiful park right across the street. The rooms have everything you need to just stay in and prepare food there. Full refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, pots pans, everything. King size bed is extremely comfortable. The rooms are very clean. It was the perfect day and I would definitely stay again. Another note is how quiet this place was. Usually another hotels, maybe some that are newer you can hear everything especially people going in and out of their doors. But honestly it felt like we were the only ones there even though I know we weren't because I could see people parking in the front. Lol
- 5/5
It feel like home
- 4/5
The building itself is old, some has been renovated but the building, room etc were very clean. Almost spotless in some areas. What we noticed was at most hotels ( even newer ones ) under the couch was always a spot that never get cleaned.. but when my toddler dropped her toy, i had to grab them under the couch and I can tell you it was spotless.. great job! Front desk ladies ( when checking in and checking out ) were very friendly and welcoming. The housekeeper in the morning was also a sweet lady. Kudos everyone! One thing we hated the most was the sliding doors.. the sliding doors in the bedroom are very squeky and hard to open/close. And also the sliding door in the kitchen is not working. It would not slide at all. Other than that, for the location alone, we would definitely be back!
- 5/5
We were impressed with the size of the room. Actually more of an apartment.
- 4/5
Easy to find, close to essentials and the beach. Clean and overall served its purpose for our brief trip. Comfy bed was great but the recliner was weird.
- 5/5
I absolutely loved this place, it is like a bed and breakfast. The rooms are super comfy, bedding from a 5 star hotel! Loved the location and the cleanliness. I travel quite a lot, and I avoid hotels...I try to stay in cozy places and this was perfect. Amazing customer service....my favorite part, their dog and their cat
- 5/5
This is a great hotel within easy walking distance of downtown Bellevue and Bellevue Square. Keep in mind that the front desk is only open from 7 AM to 9 PM so you need to check in during those hours. Of course once you’re checked in you can come and go as you please as there is a side door with room key entry. The hotel is very clean and quiet. I loved having the kitchen and the separate living room. This is great for couples who have one or two smaller children that don’t mind sleeping on the pull out sofa bed. The breakfast wasn’t anything special and I did not care for the coffee, but it was nice to have a small selection of granola bars, pastries, and some apples and bananas. The hotel staff were nice. This will be my preferred hotel in Bellevue from now on.
- 5/5
La Residence gave us a great suite, with a real kitchen, comfy dining - living room, good bedroom with a spacious bath. It has on site parking and great location.
- 4/5
Free breakfast and parking was nice.
- 4/5
The hotel and the neighboring area are very quiet, and quite close to the commercial center of Bellevue. Only cold breakfast is offered, but the quality is quite good.
- 1/5
The place smelled very bad. After flushing the toilet the water wouldn’t run to was hands. I told the front staff that we’d be using the sofa bed, and asked for extra blankets. When coming back there were no extra blankets so my daughter and I had to sleep with none. I’d like a refund.
- 5/5
The room was comfortable, clean. A little outdated, but quite good. Great bed.
- 5/5
Excellent location. Nicely furnished. Friendly staff. Appreciate that they welcome pets. Only issues were no stopper in bathtub and no place to conveniently dispose of doggie poop bags...
- 5/5
The hotel was really nice; updated, super clean, helpful staff and in a great location.
- 4/5
Good
- 3/5
Old
- 3/5
The staff is trying hard but the property is old and looks it. Everything was very clean, but the hallways had an unpleasant smell.
- 4/5
The furniture and kitchen appliances are quite run down.
- 5/5
Very nice and clean quiet hotel. I love to be back and stay there next time.
- 4/5
The rooms are tired and need updating. However the property is located in a very expensive area, and wounder if remodeling isn't worth the potential high value of the land
- 3/5
In my room, several outlets didn’t work. Especially annoying in the bathroom. There are no curtains to block out light, only sheers. Lots of traffickers noise and streetlights shining in. No TV in the bedroom. The entry door has a wonky peep hole.
- 4/5
Nice, quiet and conveniently close to shopping
- 4/5
The property was great for walking to dine or shop, a great park near by, the rooms had plenty of space and even though it was a bit dated compared to the rates of other hotels in Bellevue this is a great place to stay!
- 5/5
First of all, a staff at reception was exceptionally welcoming and friendly. If I remember correctly, her name was Andrea(?). Room was very clean and spacious. Full kitchen, big fridge, and big living room. Also complimentary breakfast was beyond my expectation. I would visit again. Thanks so much.
