The location and surrounding venues were conveniently located within walking distance. Additionally walking around you felt safe and it was great to not have to use a car to go to a great restaurant or an art gallery. There are great places to eat morning and evening. Comfort was great! The air conditioning in the room and in the halls were working 100%. The bed and linens were great that I actually got a good night's sleep. Staff could have been friendlier. The only staffer that was energetic and friendly was the overnight desk manager when we were checking out at 5am. I could have given a single staff member a pass for not being friendly, I understand we have our bad days and not be 100%. But for a four night stay from morning to evening and walking through the lobby and halls, more staffers could have been friendlier. It gave me the impression that everyone working there received bad news. The shades on the lighting above the nightstand were "water stained". Wondering what type of moisture happened to make them look like that. Attention to detail would be helpful to catch these things. If most of the staff was friendly and catching easy things to fix in the room, I would have given high scores across the board to include being a great value.

We were there three days. Never saw the cleaning staff. Said they would do a daily light clean - never happened never got garbage, never gave us fresh towels, never gave us additional coffee cups. Don't like the shower, no where to set your foot when shaving legs.also, we arrived a few hours early and simply asked if a room might already be available. We were told we have to pay an extra $30 to go into a room before the stated checkin time. Just not customer oriented.

We enjoyed our stay at Sonesta Bee Cave. The staff was friendly and efficient. The hotel was clean. It was very close to our grandson's DPS graduation so we had plenty of time with an easy drive.

This hotel was nice looking, but lacked in the areas that would actually make it a nice hotel. The hotel isn't bad, it is just priced above it's class, for me. I can accept some hair in the bathroom, but I would say this one had a lot more than most. Also, I kind of judge a hotel by how dirty the corners are, and oh my dog, the corners in the bathroom were disgusting. Overall, not a terrible stay, it was quiet, and it was a forgettable and uneventful experience. I was just there traveling with the kid's sports team and would have never bothered to leave a review, but this is the 3rd email asking for a review. Oh, I forgot, the elevator situation is stupid. There are no stairs and at 7PM we had to wait almost 10 minutes to get an elevator to our room! I think people were going to the restaurant, or maybe just their rooms, but it was a needless point of frustration.

I wanted to be between Dripping Springs and Austin, and Bee Cave is about halfway between both. Additionally, the Sonesta is right next to the Galleria, offering proximity to shops and restaurants. I loved the Location and it was very friendly. The Service at The Meridian 98 was despicable. The Poor waitress on Friday night was overwhelmed and very upset. We asked for Sprite 3 different times over 45 minutes. My husband asked for a drink 3 times the last time he went up to the bar and the bartender said she didn’t even have order.

My daughter is a competitive tennis player and there are high level tournaments in the vicinity of the Sonesta. It's a perfect hotel for these events, comfortable, quiet and clean. Situated in a mall with a Whole Foods and restaurants, so everything I need is close by. The Sonesta also has a great rooftop restaurant with healthy food options. I have no complaints, as long as I come back to the Austin area for junior tennis tournaments with my daughter, I'll be choosing the Bee Cave Sonesta.

The hotel is nice, and the location for the purpose of our trip was great Cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The bathroom floor had hair on it, shower too. Unacceptable. One morning we asked the front desk to send somebody to clean and they said they would, when we came back in the afternoon the room was not clean. We had to call housekeeping, they came later. Next morning, we noticed they didn’t even leave coffee, really? Not very happy about those things. The price is too high for what the hotel offers.

We stayed here for an entire week while visiting family in Bee Cave. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and quiet. We were thankful to be able to walk easily to the mall and especially to Whole Foods. We will definitely be staying again.

It was clean in a central location with a lot of amenities around it. The bar upstairs has a great view, there is a small gym and there is a really nice pool. I would be nice to have the option of having coffee service in the room.

What I didn't like... Automatically adding a "Destination Fee" and "Other Fee" to the bill. For what? To use the pool, bottled water at check-in, transportation to the Galleria which is 2 blocks away...give me a break.

We enjoyed our stay overall. The room was clean and comfortable. Service at the front desk was fast and nice. The only downside is that the parking was too narrow either in space or height. There was a section where car height clearance was low (something like 5’ 8”) and it seemed a bit dangerous.

Our room wasn't ready when we arrived at 4:15 pm, we had a concert at Luck Ranch to attend (for work) and the manager was able to put us in a temporary room to get ready and then had our room ready when we returned later that night. He was quick to help solve the problem.

The hotel was good, mostly good, except the room had zero water pressure or warmth in the water temp in the shower. But-the bartenders were amazing!!! Both ladies were super friendly and accommodating.

Very convenient location but the hotel is subpar. Not worth the price whatsoever. There were stains all over my bedding and food and dirt on the carpet. I wasn’t convinced that my room had been cleaned at all. Had it been it would have been a much better stay.

Overall would never stay here again. there is no restaurant for breakfast etc even thou they imply they have a restaurant. Daily housekeeping not available we were told when we checked in. they even limit the number of towels in the room.. Obvious the hotel is managed with keeping costs low, provide zero amenities, and have very limited staffing.

I feel like this hotel catfished us based on their pics online. Bathrooms were filthy, mold all over the bottom of the dispensers, horrible attitude from the staff, they didn't give us our pet package, rooms were booked on expedia but then modified because they didn't have the room we booked, first night our room was supposed to have a view of the pool and didn't. Final charges were way higher than stated in the booking confirmation even though it said "total price with fees and taxes", horrible hotel.

Needed a hotel close to my husbands hospital. It was perfect. It was clean , easy access & quiet. My husband needed to rest after his surgery and it was the perfect place. Will definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again!

Quick one night stay. The hotel is conveniently located adjacent to the galleria area offering dining and shopping options as well as a movie theater. There’s an additional shopping area behind the galleria area, and a HEB store nearby. I can’t express adequate appreciation for the hotel staff. They were kind and polite. The restaurant on the top floor was very nice with an outdoor seating area. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was great! The room was of average size which was fine for our overnight stay. We did hear our neighbors while inside of our room. Overall, a great stay and would return.

It is located in a nice area. The hotel itself is similar to a Holiday Inn Express. I wasn’t impressed with the hotel itself after reading all of the reviews claiming it to be excellent. It was okay.

Lovely hotel and staff. It was a last minute discovery for us and I will definitely stay there whenever I land in Austinl.

The area was very convenient located right next to a galleria with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby but also peaceful area to just relax. The hotel had hand sanitizer at all the elevators that made it that much cleaner and prevention of spreading any kind of illnesses. Nice touch.

We have stayed here twice and loved it both times. The hotel is lovely and the staff is great. We love the rooftop bar! Any time we go to Bee Cave this is where we will stay!

Love this area, close to Austin but not crowded at all. Great location to stay to escape the busy lifestyle of a major city while still being in a big city.

Sonesta never disappoints! I’ve stayed there several times for work the last few months, so when we were moving here and needed a hotel before our movers arrived, there was just 1 choice for me! Staff is always so accommodating, the rooftop restaurant is awesome and the rooms are spacious and clean! 5 stars!

The room was expensive for the size. The WiFi in the rooms was spotty at best. It seemed that something was blocking our 5G when we took the phones off WiFi. There is not guest laundry so not a good place for longer term travelers. There was also no breakfast provided. If you have small kids, they won’t understand only $5 pastries are available. We actually had bought food from the HEB for breakfast. Not ideal.

I stayed in this property for over a week paid just under $2000. And to my surprise, there was small bugs, kinda like fleas. I notified front desk and they immediately moved me over to a new room, but unfortunately, I had to remove all my belongings from the room at two in the morning. It was very inconvenient as I had to pretty much pack all of my stuff before I can get a different room. I am a VIP member with Expedia and I expected more as this is a VIP property. Parking garage downstairs smelled like The inside of a garbage can. I really hope somebody reaches out and makes this right.
