    Very disappointed that when I asked for housekeeping, they said they only do it every other day. I had a medical issue where I had to stay in the room for 24 hours due to a flu like symptom and asked for the room that she needs to be changed and they were like we don’t have housekeeping today, which was ridiculous. They ended up doing it, but it was a big deal. Very disappointed in that.

    The staff members were very professional, resourceful and cordial. The hotel was clean, we did not have any problem(s) with our room (clean). Breakfast was good in fact, the lady server gave me her Yogurt. Our room temp was very good. We have no complaints about the hotel staff nor services received.

    During my stay, a smoke detection device generated an erroneous report tied to my room. While I found this frustrating, I understood that technology can sometimes produce false readings and did not consider it the most significant issue. What ultimately made my stay unacceptable was how my family was treated. Housekeeping instructed my children to leave their room and wait in the hallway while the room was being cleaned. The children were in their sleepwear. When I asked that cleaning simply be skipped until we checked out the following morning, I was told “no” and informed that they could wait in the hallway for 15–20 minutes. When I raised my concerns with the front desk, I was told that hotel policy required guests to leave their rooms during cleaning. I was also told that my children were old enough to speak for themselves and had agreed to the cleaning. What staff did not know is that my children have various forms of autism. I found it inappropriate for anyone to make assumptions about their abilities or needs. I then asked to see the policy requiring guests to leave their rooms during housekeeping service. No such policy could be produced.

    Staff always seemed busy, but location was quiet and room was clean. Our fridge was broken in that the back knob to control temperature had broken off and the whole fridge froze things. We came during Pokemon go global go fest but there were other things like soccer events happening, so the hotel seemed filled with people. The text check in feature is always nice. Room was great, housekeeper was wonderful when they came every other day, everything was clean. The in house conditioner and shampoo were also empty but that’s why I bring my own. Temperature in the room was ideal. We didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel but saw other people during all mornings using it. They keep a bathroom scale behind the front desk they let us borrow to weigh luggage, it was about 0.5lb off but not a huge deal. Nothing to complain about, great experience!

    The location of the hotel from midway airport was very good. I also enjoyed the gym it was well equipped and clean. I did like the comfort of the room but I realized after being in the room that it was located close to the street and some days the noise from the street was very loud.

    When I checked in, they said they didn’t have any rooms ready mind you we checked in three hours later than she told me they had a room ready and went to go to my room and it was dirty beds not made trash still in the room. it was never clean And the website said they had a pool and they did not have one at the property.

I also requested a refund for the day I would not be staying—Sunday night through Monday morning—since I did not use the room, but I was told that this was not possible; I did not think that was fair. In short, the quality was very poor relative to the high price. Furthermore, during breakfast on Saturday, there was a hair in the scrambled eggs. They refused to refund my money because I had booked through Booking.

    We arrived at 2:50 pm and thought we could check in. We were told we could if we wanted to pay an extra $35. to check in early because check in time is 4. We opted to sit in the lobby and wait. This particular person was not pleasant at all. We did end up checking in around 3:30 with a different front desk person. Breakfast was adequate. The room was noisy with the traffic from Cicero street. Parking was $30. for the night and I did see a security car driving around checking the parking lot. If I had the opportunity I would not stay here again.

    Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fine, to be expected. The shuttle was right on time every 20 minutes and to the airport quickly. Pick shuttle up on upper floor (top) at door 2. Two top rated Chicago Pizza restaurants within a blocks walk. Good place for a quick layover.

    Breakfast was good; room was very clean. However, after getting ready for bed, and hoping to watch the large-screen TV, I discovered there was no remote control. I called the front desk; the sole person on duty was unable to bring me a remote, and I didn’t want to get redressed to go to the front desk. I therefore had no benefit from one of the main amenities of the room - I’m not happy. The presence of a TV remote should be on a housekeeping checklist before a room is deemed ready. I likely will not stay here again.

    The breakfast bar tasted off both days we ate there, particularly the sausage and the gray, mushy potatoes on Saturday. The fan in the bathroom didn't work, the shower emitted a high pitched squeak that hurt to hear, the TV went off randomly and could not be turned back on, and I called four times over two days to get fresh bedding but the front desk stated they were out because the hotel was fully booked. I cannot believe there was not one free comforter in the entire hotel. I was incredibly frustrated the entire stay and will not ever return to a Hampton hotel so as not to waste my money again.

    Some of the lights in the room didn’t work. Housekeeping didn’t come to clean the room and we had to ask for towels. The tv remote didn’t work and housekeeping had to come up and swap it out. Also the water took a very long time to get warm. We had a digital key so we were able to skip the check in process at the front desk upon initial arrival. I expressed my concerns with the front desk personnel, Paige, and she said she “feels like we should have come to the front desk to get the ins and outs of the hotel” to know how it operates. Basically there was nothing they would do to substantiate for our poor experience. Although the hotel was in a prime location, we would not return to this location.

    Staff was not at all informative about the dining options. I arrived late in the evening and asked if there were any sandwiches. I was shown just the chips and ramen on display. It was not until the morning that I realized there were many chain and other hotel restaurants. No coffee. Or water in the room either.

    This is the first hotel I stay in and I get charged for having a rental car. Its $60 dollars that shouldn't be charged due to already us paying taxes for renting a vehicle. This is a ridicules charge. Plus not everyone is being charge some of the charges are being waived for some customers

    Loud construction starting at 7am and hidden fee for parking. $30 for parking at a parking lot that is shared with 4 other hotels, plus all the service / construction vehicles.. so it’s always full. Not worth the money spent at all.

    Housekeeping comes every other day which is fine but they need to replenish bathroom supplies like towels, washcloths and TP. There is no laundry so if you need to do clothes you’re out of luck. Most restaurants close dine in at 11. The only places open near the hotel late night is White Castle or Taco Boom. Walmart and Target are within biking distance or ride share distance. Other than these things I’d stay here again, nonetheless.

    Very clean room, definitely not the best Hampton Inn in the US. they had some construction going on in front of the property. People at the desk are not the most dynamic people I have met to say the least. But overall, it served its purpose. Breakfast is the strict minimal, you have to ask to get stuff replenished when I have seen better crew constantly working around the breakfast area in other Hampton inn.

    Friendly staff, clean, parking was a bit rough but we checked in around 11:30pm. With so many hotels in one area, I’m assuming parking always overflows. We had to park far and walk. Personally, this was fine for us as we are fully capable of making the walk. Just something to keep in mind for others.

    Staff was very nice and the hotel was clean. I enjoyed my room. However, there was no warning when i reserved online that there was ongoing construction, and the construction outside my window and above the ceiling was extremely loud and disruptive early in the morning during sleep. This would have been nice to know in advance as it was very frustrating trying to sleep with no warning of loud construction all around me until I arrived there.

    My stay was decent, staff was nice. There a few stains on the side of my bed. What is REALLY upsetting is the fact that there is $30 parking; that is honestly ridiculous & unacceptable. Parking shouldn’t be a concern when guest already pay so much for a room. I had a good stay but this is not that nice of a hotel. Especially considering the fact that there were so many empty, available parking spaces & the area around the hotel is not exactly the nicest. It feels like another greedy fee to be honest

    When I paid for my room I had to use 2 separate cards. When I checked out they cancelled the charge on one card (card with all the money) and charged the card that was supposed to only be for deposit. BESIDES that it was great, I’d stay here again if in town.

    The room was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We arrived pretty late at about 10:30pm and there was nobody there at the front desk. She was in the back and didn’t come out for at least 5 minutes. We were tired and just wanted to get our key. There was some construction going on which I was not aware of when I booked the room.

    No TV remote in room- staff had to scramble to fine one; in AM, the shower worked for me but 30 min later it would not turn on. The breakfast was horrible- weak coffee, like warm eggs and sausage uncooked. Just should not have to deal with any of this.
