This hotel feels like a maze. There is no natural sunlight, the ventilation is awful, and the inward-facing rooms create a gloomy atmosphere. Basic amenities are constantly missing: no towels, a coffee machine without water, a non-functioning phone, and numerous other deficiencies. What made the experience even worse was the staff’s attitude—whenever we raised these issues, we received rude and unhelpful responses. We truly regretted staying here and would strongly advise others to look elsewhere. Definitely not worth the money. We deeply regretted staying here. This is definitely not a hotel I would recommend to anyone.

Location We stayed at this hotel for six nights. I specifically booked it because of its excellent location and because it advertised air conditioning, which was very important to us during our stay. Unfortunately, the air conditioning did not work at all during our entire stay. Every day we reported the issue to the staff, and each time we were given a different explanation and told that it would be fixed soon. After several complaints, we were finally moved to another room in a different building, only two nights before our departure, because we were assured that the air conditioning there was working properly. To our disappointment, the air conditioning in the new room was also not functioning. When we complained again, we were offered yet another room change—this time back to the original building, as we were told that the problem had supposedly been resolved there. After six nights of inconvenience and conflicting information, we found this solution unreasonable and frustrating. The location of the hotel is excellent and was the main reason we chose it. However, not having a basic amenity that was clearly advertised, combined with the lack of a consistent solution, had a significant negative impact on our stay.

The hotel was very well located, the beach was half an hour away and the square was 15mins. There was a train line 5 mins away too. Staff were also very friendly. We paid a lot of money for the room, it was a peak weekend due to Prima Vera Festival so its expected for price surges. No one ever came to clean the room or change towels. There was a weird smell all the time.

The reception staff were friendly and tried to be helpful with our room issues. Comfortable bed and pillows. Water dripping from the ceiling into the bath where the plug was left in, revealing dirty water. The air con was not working, in a hot room, and had to keep windows shut. Very loud traffic noise (sirens most of the night) despite windows shut. Hence hardly any sleep. Old discoloured sink with a strange design (no plug).

Very helpful reception staff. Reasonable Breakfast. Close to bus and train routes. Very handy for La Rambla. Great restaurant next door - Antic Cafe Espanyol The air con was very noisy, so unable to have on at night. There was a small ‘knob’ on the floor in the bathroom, just by the shower door, which was easy to stand on, and hurt!

The location for local sights was perfect, we were going on a cruise so ideal just a 10 minute walk from the port This has to be the loudest street i have ever stayed on, the air conditioning in the room was non existent so we had to open the balcony doors but the noise until around 6am from the traffic and people out partying was too much even with the doors closed! Thank god we only had one night there
