Comfortable, friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast and good location. The glass door to the bathroom and the room got too hot while we slept causing us to wake up.

Passable

The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was very nice and clean. I loved the towels - huge and fluffy! The breakfast was good, and we enjoyed having a drink on the rooftop deck. One big drawback of the property is that there’s no place to park your car to unload/load. Our room was very dark and the lighting in the bathroom wasn’t good.

Location was great being close to the ocean and right in the gothic quarter. The rooms were comfortable, modern and clean. Breakfast was over the top! We throughly enjoyed it! Staff was wonderful! Highly recommend this hotel. Loved it all! The pool is small and near the rooftop restaurant/bar. So it felt weird to want to use it being so close to the dining.

Beautiful property, spacious room and bathroom with bathtub, centrally located I did not get even one restful night’s sleep. You can hear everything on the hallway and the building across the way. People up at all hours of the night and disturbing the hotel guests, and the cleaner and doors in the hotel are loud and starting early morning. The mattress was too firm and the sheets weren’t very soft and the duvet slips out from the duvet cover which also isn’t soft.

Excellent location and beautifully decorated hotel. Walking distance to the beach and to the ramblas. Lots of coffee shops, restaurants and places to have breakfast, lunch or dinner nearby. We didn’t try the hotel breakfast but enjoyed some lovely drinks and smaller snacks on the rooftop terrace, where they have seating in the shade, a few sun loungers and two little plunge pools (no shade near the pools), one is overlooking the harbour. Housekeeping always did an impeccable job, the rooms are very clean. The doorman was very helpful and kind. Reception staff friendly. Our room overlooked the alley, and even though it was beautifully lit, there was no direct daylight or sunlight, so a bit gloomy. The window doors are badly insulated and the noise from the alley is considerable. We were there during the week - I dread to think what it sounds like on weekends. On two nights we had loud noises from the plumbing in the ceiling which woke me up in the middle of the night. They fixed it, but I had two really bad nights. The mattresses are hard and the pillows high, not great if you have back issues. Shower is good and powerful. On arrival day, the pools were full of screaming kids and the staff was a bit stressed. This was not so nice. But on departure day we had the pool to ourselves for a few hours and the hotel kindly allowed access to a shower room so we could freshen up before flying back home. Overall, we had a great time. A perfect stay would’ve been in a room with an actual view and daylight. The hotel is a bit overpriced.
