Didn’t care for breakfast
- 2/5
The only good things were its proximity to the hospital and the 7-Eleven across the street... It is an unnecessarily expensive hotel (I assume the price is so high because of the hospital nearby). I was not at all satisfied with the parking and valet service... You drive right up to the entrance, leave your car there, check in, and then hand it over to the valet... (55 USD per night + tip). It’s a huge waste of time... Also, regarding the "accessible room" we paid extra for—it is extremely difficult to enter the bathroom in a wheelchair... I don't understand how they expect someone in a wheelchair to bathe in that bathroom; there isn't even a place to sit... Plus, the glasses weren't clean... I don't feel we got our money's worth. My child said, "Let's not come to this hotel again"... We were absolutely not satisfied with the room at all... We didn't even have breakfast.
- 5/5
Only downside is that it’s difficult/expensive to drive there and load/unload. It’s very good for families because of the 2-bedroom room.

Our stay was nice. I do have to say with others cooking in their rooms the smell lingered in the hallway and into our room. I’m not sure what someone was cooking but it smelled awful. Breakfast was ok, the eggs were very watery.
- 4/5
The room was cold I couldn't control the temperature, the sofa has some wears and tears and it was so dirty . The bed was comfy, the kitchen was nice and the bathroom was clean, the breakfast was good Amber who works in dining area was friendly and professional she greeted you with a warm friendly smile.Theres a 7-Eleven right across the street I would suggest you be careful especially at night drug addicts and homeless people are the area asking for money I would be careful with that cause they be watching to see where u keep your money..John Hopkins is in walking distance and metro train to take to the inner harbor..

Bathroom was not handicap friendly (no bars in shower), floor slippery and it was a handicap room. Valet parking never showed up the next morning to retrieve our cars. We were told security would get our keys and we could walk to the parking lot and find our cars . I said, no. Where is the parking lot? Where is my car? Other than that, staff that was there, was very nice.

I left my water bottle in the room and they let me go back up and get it of course with security I would recommend this hotel right across the street to 7-Eleven and another breakfast place.

Great place to stay. Clean, quiet rooms with great beds. Super hot water. Continental breakfast is nice. Everyone on staff is very friendly.
- 4/5
I was not aware of a $50 holding fee upon checking in. Future persons staying should be aware of such action before they book. Other than that, my stay was ok.
- 4/5
The room was great, the staff when checked in was polite. The overall hotel was great! I saw a lot of reviews regarding parking. When checked in the front desk clerk explained that I could park on the street or use valet. Parking on the street was available so I use that. It was way cheaper than the prices for valet parking. After check out, I received an invoice with my charges along with valet parking charges that I did not use. I did not even pull up in front of the hotel, I parked on the street and walked. So I am highly upset that I have charges for something that I did not use. I called the hotel and spoke with front desk Mylan and she was a little rude stating that "if the charges are on there then I had to have use the services", wrong. So now I have to wait until someone contacts me for my money that was fraudulently taken. Oh and the breakfast was not great!
- 4/5
Nice hotel. The description leads you to believe that it is directly attached to Hopkins. You could walk but the area is a little rough and it’s a significant walk, especially if you’re checking in for early morning surgery.
- 4.5/5
The room was clean, comfortable and quite spacious, with cooktop, microwave, full fridge/ freezer and plates/ cutlery, although some cutlery was missing. Bed was comfortable and bathroom and shower were perfect. Good gym, and a very good breakfast with very friendly and helpful staff. The roof top restaurant has excellent food, although the wait times can vary. We found ordering a takeout to be quicker than eating in the restaurant. We did not use parking. The area around the hotel is safe and generally quiet ( but see below) and has a Starbucks, Peter Chang Chinese restaurant and a Walgreen's and 7-11, amongst a few others, within 2-3 minutes walking distance. It is also convenient if you have appointments or procedures at the main Johns Hopkins campus, with a shuttle between certain JH buildings on request. Good and reasonably priced laundry facilities. The only small issue we had was with noise at night. The hotel was quiet inside, and the area is general peaceful and quiet except on the North Wolfe Street side, where we were, there was constant loud cars going up and down throughout the night. I appreciate this is not in the hotel's control, but it was a bit annoying until we got used to it.

- 4/5
The security of the place. I’ve never stayed at a hotel where the security made me feel safe especially considering the city were visiting and the location of the where the hotel is. Parking was a major issue. False advertising of the wrong prices through the 3rd party company they use for valet service. My friend came to visit while I was there for a few hours and she had to pay the same amount I was paying.
- 4.5/5
Location was everything! I want fond on the breakfast. Even tho it was free, the bacon was as toooooo crispy and, the eggs were watery

- 3/5
The room is in good condition very clean
- 3/5
When I received my vehicle from the valet i notice a few items were missing.
- 1/5
The location was nice The property manager kept asking too many personal questions. The facility was so dirty, including the restrooms and shower that I didn’t even end up staying the night there. I stayed somewhere else and I checked out a day early. Nothing was touched other than the sink in the restroom, and yet they took the security deposit and never gave it back.
- 5/5
Breakfast was adequate. Needed a meat with the eggs. Otherwise, it was appropriate. A good starter for the day. The room was clean. The towels were clean and smelled fresh. Overall, an excellent stay ! Signage for the hotel and the entry point. Where we were coming from. We only saw the hotel sign on the side of the building. Once we were on north Wolfe st. We did not know where the entrance was located.

Nice size 1 bedroom suite with kitchen. Breakfast variety with many options. Expensive parking garage but imexpensive street parking which is free on weekend, but on busy thoroughfare. Lovely main atrium area with plenty of seating for a gathering.

Fresh breakfast and inexpensive
- 4/5
The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was quite nice, although the coffee was a bit underwhelming. The room was quite nice, although we did not use the kitchen at all. The restaurant staff were friendly and the food was well prepared. However, after three nights (we stayed there due to hospital visits) we had fairly exhausted the menu.
- 5/5
Huge room. Staff was super friendly. Great stay!
- 5/5
I had a very pleasant stay! As a finance guy I look for reasonable pricing for premium accommodations. The Residence Inn fit the bill. Inexpensive parking nearby, free Wi-Fi, continental breakfast included, comfortable room, everything I needed for a business trip.
- 4/5
We used valet parking the first night, but with tax it was $50. I walk well, so I parked in the Johns Hopkins garage across the street for $15/night after that. Staff were helpful and polite, and both our room and the lobby were clean and well-cared for. We'll stay again.
- 5/5
The room was clean and spacious. The staff polite and helpful. The location near the Johns Hopkins Hospital made this medical trip so much easier.

Great hotel! Super clean and modern. Would definitely go back.
- 3/5
Hotel had maintenance issues
- 1/5
Charged me for staying at the hotel even tho I did not. I did not stay there because the furniture in my room was broken, they had no hot water in the entire hotel and they did not warn us before we checked in. There was also water damage in my room, rooms were outdated, TV was outdated, bed did not look like I would want to sleep in it. It was not plush, in looked broken down. Cabinet the TV was sitting on was leaning hard about to fall apart.
- 5/5
Great staff!!!
- 4/5
They gave us an upgrade to a corner unit which has the connecting doors to my parents' room. This was helpful. But some things didn't work - a lamp, heating in their room... It was only one night so I didn't mind. The concierge staff at the desk was very helpful. The valet service upon checking out was rude. I didn't use the valet and two of them were telling me to move while waiting for my mom in the wheelchair. It was very stressful and unpleasant experience.
- 2/5
The front staff was very rude. Front staff refused to help not only myself but an old couple there asking fro directions to the hospital. He spent more time with his back turned and chit chatting with the maintenance men.
- 4/5
Staff are not that helpful
- 5/5
Great Staff
- 3/5
Beds & pillows are horrible. Television would not work properly. Had maintenance in multiple times to fix it. Hotel staff was kind. Valet staff were terrible. Language barriers and bad attitudes.
- 2/5
The room was decently clean and well equipped. Very close to John Hopkins hospital. The air conditioner didn't work in our room. I called the front desk and they said they would have someone look at it. Nobody showed up, and I barely slept because it was so hot in our room. I called again the next day, and the front desk said "We are moving your room, you need to pack up your things and bring them down to the front desk". Nobody helped us move all our bags and coolers. The new room had air conditioning, but the inconvenience and apathy was ridiculous. I emailed customer service, but all they said was my next stay with them would be better. There won't be any stays at Marriott hotels from us.
- 5/5
The chef was so friendly and provided exceptional customer service. He assisted my daughter with breakfast for the entire family that she insisted he receive a great review.
- 5/5
Room was nice. Very clean. Hotel staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Would not leave the property after dark on foot. Very sketchy people. Gangs of people on ATV's damaging cars, running the lights. Our Uber driver told us not to walk anywhere, as it wasnt safe.
- 3/5
The shower was awful especially for an accessible room. There were no grab bars nor shelves to put personal care items like sponge, shampoo and body soap. I could see fungus in the cracks where the wall met the floor. It was really hard for me to navigate the shower without grab bars. The water pressure was really low too. Loved the hotel top restaurant. The service was great and the view was beautiful. The food was good.
- 5/5
Beautiful property, restaurant was amazing and delicious. Front desk gentlemen was very curt with me did not tell where the elevator was or that I needed my key to operate the elevator. He said nothing just handed me my keys. The valet was great he actually explained these things to me.
- 5/5
Nice staff. Their parking is very expensive, recommend street parking for much less.
- 2/5
The front desk staff were not very friendly or helpful, and the bed was horribly uncomfortable with no mattress cover.
- 1/5
Mysterious white stain on couch disgusting forogt to take a picture of it whatever will not be staying there again.
- 5/5
Great atmosphere
- 5/5
Convenient location and breakfast options were nice. I wish the bar was open later than 10 PM.
- 3/5
A nice hotel.
- 5/5
Kind, welcoming staff. Informative, very helpful front desk staff. Clean facilities, easy walkability. Would definitely return
- 3/5
Because of his effort, I would rate the service as average, but the overall condition of the hotel room was poor. This property has potential, but it clearly needs cosmetic updates and a staff that takes cleanliness and presentation more seriously.
- 1/5
Unsafe neighborhood.
- 1/5
I booked for 4 people 2 adults 2 children. My room had 2 towels 2 wash clothes and 4 pillows 30 mins after checking I I requested more of these things. Blankets, pillows, towels and wash clothes. Was told it would be up never had anything hours later I requested again heard nothing then I did yet again still nothing the next morning I called at 5am was told I would have to wait I asked to speck with a manger was told I would be contacted. Never was contacted until after my stay I got pillows delivered @ 632a the day we were checking out and towels delivered at 12a the day of check out… at that point I had already went to Walmart and bought things for my kids to have because this was ridiculous. Do better Marriott.
- 5/5
Great location, close to Johns Hopkins Hospital.
- 5/5
Breakfast service is good. Breakfast service guy is very nice, polite, friendly.
- 5/5
Appreciate the early check in
- 3/5
Overall good property
- 4/5
Nothing at this time
- 5/5
Really nice room/suite, with kitchen. Really nice updated bath.
- 5/5
With Hopkins across the street it should be full
- 3/5
Bathroom only access is through the bedroom, but it’s a suite so your guest have to come thru the bedroom to use it
- 4/5
I stayed here three nights with a friend whose husband was having transplant surgery at Hopkins. The Residence Inn was an oasis of comfort and calm during that stressful time. There was a large kitchen saved us the trouble of going out and being able to fix something during the odd hours we kept. The sitting area with the sectional sofa was quite comfortable and I was able to work at the desk while she slept in the bedroom. The only criticism I have is the neighborhood. It is something out of The Wire. At night, hospital security walked us to the hotel, but coming back was stressful, being approached by the poor souls with obvious addiction issues and people sleeping on the sidewalk. At two blocks away, this is still the closest hotel, and it met our needs perfectly. I highly recommend the Residence Inn to anyone who needs to be close to Johns Hopkins.
- 5/5
Very clean, and very close to JHU school of public health.
- 3/5
Front desk staff not very helpful. Breakfasts staff quite friendly. Matin
- 5/5
Close to Johns Hopkins Hospital. Staff is friendly and helpful. Parking is so nice.
- 3/5
The lady at the front desk on 8/8 was not friendly, actually was very short tempered. The lock on the door was faulty. We had issues trying to open the door, every time we left the room. People in the other rooms close by were loud. Wouldn’t stay there again.
- 5/5
Most convenient location if you are visiting Hopkins Medical school
- 5/5
This property has earned its well-deserved high rating. Rooms were clean and modern and quiet. Morning breakfast was good, but the friendly staff are what really set it apart. Recommend this hotel!
- 3/5
The toilet is dropping noisemakers.
- 5/5
So close to Hospital. Breakfast options were great. Room clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
It was as advertised. Staff is friendly and the service was great!
- 2/5
The room was too hot
- 5/5
It was very hot outside during our stay, 90+ degrees, and the penthouse restaurant had the patio door open every time we went up to dine, making the restaurant unbearably warm for dinner. We turned around and walked out along with other people that rode the elevator up with us. Friendly staff but too warm to eat comfortably.
- 5/5
Staff were helpful and friendly, especially in breakfast area. Room and property were clean. Breakfast was just ok; eggs were nice and light, but cold every day -4 days. Fresh muffins would have kicked it up a notch.
- 5/5
Stayed for one night (couple). Check in was smooth, staff was nice and helpful with recommendations. Ten minutes from harbor. The room was great, spacious, and clean. Bed was comfy, pillows are small but surprisingly adequate. Bathroom toilet was slow flushing or took a few flushes to clear but didnt have any issues for the one night. Breakfast was good. Parking is expensive but we opt to park on the street and didnt have any problems. I will definitely return.
- 5/5

- 3/5
It was comfortable. Park on the street nearby. Valet parking too expensive. Breakfast ends a bit early.
- 4/5
TOO MANY FEES
- 5/5
This hotel is perfect if you are there to go to Johns Hopkins Hospital. It is only about a block walk away. The morning breakfast was great every day this week that I was there.
- 5/5
Great place to stay in Baltimore.
- 4/5
Bathroom lacks exhaust fan
- 5/5
The room was clean and quiet so my family spent a comfortable night.
- 4/5
The beds were very comfortable, but the pillows were so small it took 2 to make a normal size pillow. A light in the dining area was burnt out and the main door into the room was not shutting properly, you had to pull on the door hard and turn the knob. We really enjoyed the breakfast a lot. The location was so close to Johns Hopkins you could walk there. I would stay there again because it was nice and quiet. Thank you for a nice stay just get your maintenance department to fix the 2 problems.
- 3/5
The room was very hot through our stay. They wouls come to adjust it and it would be hot again hours later. Gettinf things refreshed and clean was a bit of a pain and thr elevators were scary and slow...when working.
- 5/5
This property assisted with accommodation at the last minute and the staff was awesome. They provided rooms for us and other travelers who were previously placed at a hotel that was overbooked

This is a wonderful hotel. We enjoy staying here, but there aren’t many restaurants nearby besides the hotel’s rooftop restaurant. Shopping and dining are a short drive away, but through some unsafe areas.

The hotel need a convenience parking lot for customers who are not interested in valet service.
- 5/5
It was a convenient place, great valet service, secure, and comfortable, we enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
Very convenient to attend appointments at Johns Hopkins or Kennedy Kreiger! Clean, nice, helpful staff, small kitchens in the bedrooms. Have been here many times and always found it top notch.
- 4/5

- 5/5
Great experience. The front desk staff were very polite, helpful, and friendly. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The rest of the hotel had a luxurious and modern feel to it. Special shout out to Lamont who worked the continental breakfast bar. I've never met a happier and upbeat hotel staff member! And also to the valet, very professional and helpful.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay. We ended up having to add a second night. The food at the roof top restaurant was wonderful. We had dinner there each night. Breakfast was good, but the coffee could be better, a little weak. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely be staying there again.

- 5/5
The hotel was beautiful
- 5/5
It was a stay to be near The hospital. They were very accommodating as we unexpectedly had to change our reservation. Everyone at front desk was wonderful and the person at breakfast kept our table clean
- 4/5
The room was nice and well prepped, more then I needed but the only thing available was an efficiency. The restaurant was nice and staff friendly, food was fine. Wanted to reheat leftovers and no oven and minimal kitchen supplies. The property was advertised as 1/2 block from Hopkins, but it was much further to where we needed to be. The schedule for the tram between the property was incorrect.
- 4/5
Restaurant was moderately priced and very good
- 1/5
Did not stay there we were bumped & sent bk an email stating heavy booking & to go to Hunt Valley. Mother had to get Heart Surgery & had to report @ early hrs in the Morning 🌅.
- 5/5
It was a greatvstay from start to checkout. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was very comfortable
- 4/5
Convenient to the hospital, just a short walk. Suite was clean and would definitely work for an extended stay. Bath towels were small and a bit scratchy. Kitchen was missing sufficient cutlery for two people
- 4/5
Very nice place. Good location for what you was there for.
- 5/5
The front desk didn’t have much personality but the gentleman running the morning breakfast were absolutely fantastic. They were so happy and kind and positive that they made the whole trip. The room was great despite a couple damages. And I personally am not a fan of the half open shower. But our stay was great and was in perfect distance of our sons appointment at John Hopkins!
- 5/5
The property is very clean. Staff was very polite and helpful. I would stay here again and highly recommends this hotel.
- 4/5
Very quiet. Housekeepers had difficult time understanding english.
- 5/5
The microwave did not work.
- 3/5
Definitely need to be upgraded. The rooms sheets still had spot on it probably washed but the stains never came out.
- 5/5
Close to John’s Hopkins.
- 1/5
The check in staff were rude and the room had mystery liquid on the bathroom walls and nightstands
- 5/5
He went above and beyond
- 3/5
The Inn's most attractive feature is its proximity to Johns Hopkins. Otherwise, the facility is no more than adequate, though it is quite expensive, not to mention the $42/night parking fee. Even so, it is thinly staffed at best. During my stay, the restaurant closed at 8 pm, though it was supposed to be open till 10 pm. We had to order from the downstairs bar. There were S&P shakers in the rooms, but they were empty. There are no cups in the bathrooms. The foam pillows are old and undersized. The hot water, at least in our room, took several minutes to arrive. In sum, this is a pricey yet old, tired facility.

We got there late and checked out early. The room was just lovely and the bed comfortable. It was very clean. However, the deadbolt on my door did not work, which was very upsetting. I used some hangers to Jimmy. It closed. Also the hallway smelled as if they hadn’t recently had a fire or somebody was burning rubber. It was just awful.

Staff have been fantastic since checkin... Flexible and family friendly valet and breakfast staff! Late minute booking with family inintensive care. We loved the kitchenettes and accessibility features. Thanks to the checkin staff for getting our family on the same floor too
