    This place was horrible. Room smelled like an ashtray. Bedding had cigarette burns on it. Nothing in the room. No fridge, no microwave. Minimum towels. Noise and commotion all night. Door was broken and wouldn’t close right. Police activity. Would not recommend

    Property was not well maintained. Rooms have very strong and uncomfortable smells of perfumes. Services for guests were very limited. Air condition units were not properly cleaned and maintained. Staff were not very polite and professional. Some have serious language barriers. Lots of noise and smell of tobacco around the compound.

Then when we arrived at the time we said we would get there, they said they were all booked up and they had given our room to someone else. We arrived when we said we would arrive and they were informed and approved our 9:00 PM arrival; yet still gave our room to another without telling us until we got there. : (

    Paid for premium king suite. There was no soap, shampoo, etc in the available containers in shower or next to sink. The premium was supposed to have upgraded bedding and snacks, which was also not provided. There was an accessible shower sprayer that fell from the shower wall due to a rusted bolt. The shower curtain also would not stay closed due to the shower rod almost being detached from wall. No power access on one side of bed. Strong smell of pot everywhere.

    We stayed one night at the Red Roof Inn PLUS+ Baltimore-Washington DC/BWI Airport before heading out on our cruise. Overall, I’d rate it a 3 out of 5. The room itself was very basic—nothing stood out as problematic, but the entire property has a somewhat run-down feel. It’s not a place you’d choose for comfort or amenities, just functionality. One thing to note: there is no on-site food option—no restaurant, bar, or even a simple breakfast setup. We had to order delivery and ultimately ended up going to a nearby hotel just to sit down and have a proper meal, which wasn’t ideal after traveling. Service was inconsistent. My husband was given complimentary bottled water at the front desk, but when I went later, a different staff member told me I’d need to purchase water from a vending machine. That lack of consistency didn’t leave a great impression. The outdoor walkways were also covered in petals from nearby trees, and it didn’t appear that they were being maintained or cleaned regularly. That said, if you just need a place to sleep for a night before catching a flight or cruise, it does the job. For anything longer than 24 hours, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

    I read the reviews before I booked the hotel and I thought it would be okay for a quick overnight pit stop before we met with friends in Baltimore. I thought the "Plus" on the hotel made it a little better than the regular Inn. Uhmmm...no. From the people smoking and drinking in the parking lot, the trash and pee on the steps leading to the rooms. To the room having such dim lighting that you thought they were trying to hide a dead body. My husband immediately said this is not the caliber of places we normally stay and said it looked like it had roaches. I told him the reviews were good and it's just a quick stay but we were uncomfortable all night. The tub was dirty (it looked like someone tried to clean it though), the water drained slower than molasses. There was a gap between on the door and I believe that's where the roach came crawling in the next morning and almost scared me half to death when it ran across the wall. The lady at the front desk was nice and friendly but that's the only positive thing I can say about this place. I would sleep in my car before I slept here again. Just my opinion. Other people may love it but it didn't work for us. My 10yr old son rated it a 0 out of 5 stars. We checked out before check-out time because after I saw that roach, we hauled out of there.

    Note: people do smoke in rooms and it can come through the vents and make your room smell. I just told front desk and they made note of it in their system so that I wouldn’t be accused of smoking!

    The hotel exterior is fairly maintained. The trash cans were overflowing, with garbage thrown around. The elevator, servicing the 3 floors, was broken. The room, while neat, clean and organized was quite dated with old, worn furnishings. The lighting was sparse and dim, the room needed painting, and the toilet was juvenile-size very low to the floor. The door night security latch was broken off, csusing me to block the door with a chair and my luggage. Finally, there were folk hanging outside on the parking lot whom looked of suspect character. I made a mistake in choosing this place for a one night stay, horribly regret it, and will never repeat.

    A little surprised there wasnt a microwave or mini fridge in the single bed room. I guess thats only for double bed rooms. I had asked for towels after checkin 3 times that night and didnt get them. Asked again the following day and got them. Room was clean. Phone didnt work at first. Checked the cords and had to plug in the phone jack all the way. Bed was very comfortable. Odd though there was only 3 pillows. Usually theres 4 at hotels when have a king size bed.

    They stress that there is a no smoking policy, but it seems not to be enforced as much as they say. The room below us had the smell of weed traveling up into our room. As we were leaving the property, that specific room's door was briefly upon and we were hit with a pungent smell of weed. So, keep that in mind if you plan to stay here with any children.

    The room was terrible. The heat didn’t work so we were freezing all night, the sink to brush your teeth didn’t drain, their was hair all in the shower, crumbs on the floor, black spots in the bed , blood behind the nightstand .     Great front desk was very kind and knowledgeable. Other than that hotel room is good for a couple hours stay … sheets were clean, heater was old so it wasn’t working properly. No fridge , microwave, nor breakfast. Just a motel that does the job. The snow storm had made parking really really difficult especially when you can’t find a lot, Parking spaces is limited. So if it wasn’t the snowstorm and heat issues, I would give it another star, but would I return not likely. It’s outdated.

    This is very much a budget property and a motel at best with outside-only access to the rooms, which can feel a little sketchy. The elevator to the floors was really run down. The room itself was clean enough, but it was also worn. It did the job to sleep one night before catching a flight, but I wish I paid $10 more for a regular hotel. The front desk attendant was delightful, and it wasn't terrible, but I wish the overall rating reflected the kind of property it was when I was making my decision. If you're ok with a motel, this will work, but I was expecting a regular hotel.

    It is a creepy rundown motel with no warmth. Within the first minute of arriving to my room I saw two cockroaches in the bathtub. I know crickets, I know cockroaches. These were roaches. Gross stains on the walls and tub. I booked a non-smoking room and this room smelled like my great grandma’s house, where she smoked inside for years. It triggered my asthma to the point I needed to use my inhaler. It was supposed to be a “premium” room, which promised upgraded bedding and snacks. There were no snacks just an instant coffee packet. I arrived at 1:30am (delayed flight) and was checking into the Holiday Inn next door by 2am.

    I had called in advance to be sure I could park my car and short stay. I did this very early. All was confirmed. However when I arrived to check in, and asked about the shuttle, after carrying my luggage up steps as there are no ramps, she said oh we don’t have the shuttle anymore. You can park but must figure out how to get to the airport yourself. I went to the cleaner Windham next door and yes parking was even cheaper and it was cleaner and they had coffee available etc.

    Great staff, always helpful and ver accommodating. I have to stay there on Thursday evenings and on 11/13 I accidentally booked the room twice. Girl at front desk said she took care of it. However 2 weeks later charge was still on my account. When I came to stay on 12/4 I explained to another girl what happened. She looked it up and immediately took care of it. Great customer service.

    I have used this property in the past because of its closeness to BWI and the Hotel Shuttle. Upon arrival I'm told the shuttle has been canceled. Then there's the questionable types wandering the property at 4am while I'm trying to get to the airport. Place has gone down hill.

    Waited over 35 mins for staff to appear in locked office, with another guest who'd been waiting for 15 mins already after being checked in and given a key to a room that was already occupied! I was checked in, finally, walked to my room at the back of property and saw about 6 obvious prostitutes going from room to room...I left. Did not trust cleanliness or safety of the property. Sometimes you get what you pay for. Used to be a big Red Roof fan -- brand has gone WAY downhill. Stay somewhere else.

    The room looked clean from afar. There were hairs on toilet seat, and the bathroom had a lot of cracks that needed to be sealed. I killed a huge spider in the tub and another one got away through a crack. There was no hand soap in the dispenser or no bars of soap to wash hands. Also, I got to the lobby at 215 to see if early check in was available. It wasn’t which was fine. I came back at 3:00 sharp and still nothing was available. I had to wait and there was no type of urgency or care that it was a lobby full of travelers that had reservations and no available rooms at check in. Why allow a reservation if nothing is available? Why is nothing available when check out is at 11am? I had somewhere to be and knew I wouldn’t need the room other than somewhere to lay my head so I guess the saying, you get what you pay for applies.

    I traveled from Toronto and arrived at the hotel around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 11, after a 10-hour drive. Upon checking in, my wife went to take a shower and discovered the bathroom drain was completely clogged with hair and soap residue. I immediately informed the front desk staff on duty, but instead of offering assistance or an apology, I was told, “You can leave if you want to.” At that hour, the night before a Ravens game, no other hotels in the area had availability — leaving us with no realistic alternative but to stay. The room itself was dusty and had a strong odor, as if someone had recently smoked in it. For the price and reputation of this property, this experience was extremely disappointing. After such a long drive, we expected at the very least a clean room and a courteous response to a valid concern. I hope management takes this feedback seriously to ensure that future guests receive better care and basic cleanliness standards are upheld.

    The room was clean, staff was very accommodating, temperature in room was great, water pressure good. I like how the sink was outside the bathroom so someone could be bathing & using toilet in private, and someone could be getting dressed, drying hair, putting on makeup privately as well. It was nice having a microwave where the ice machine was located. The area was quiet. The drawers in the nightstand and dresser were a little damaged and were unable to be used. I will stay here again.

    Drove 7 hours- About 8pm I received a call from Sonesta and was told they overbooked so I did t have a room!!!!!!! I called and text Hotels . Com for help. I’m a “so-called” GOLD member- couldn not talk to a real person!! Just a virtual. Gave me no help

    This motel takes budget to a new level. They've discontinued airport shuttles. No breakfast. No housekeeping during a 3 day stay. No breakfast, very limited vending, no food nearby. Had to go to the desk and ask just to get coffee for the in room coffeemaker. I got the premium room. Bed was comfortable, and quiet enough to sleep. I wouldn't stay here again.

    Unknown white crunchy substance on bedskirt. AC stopped working in the middle of the night, even after turning the unit down to 60. We eventually changed the AC to fan and it turned back on. The elevator smelled terribly of cigarette smoke.

    Bath area needs some remodeling. Rest of the room was reasonably nice. Glad that i could arrange for a late check in. Parking was available. Check in was quick and easy. I've only been here for about an hour but it seems quiet so far.

    had such a great experience checking in thanks to the wonderful lady at the front desk! I didn’t catch her name, but she was incredibly kind and welcoming. She made me feel comfortable and valued from the moment I arrived, which really set the tone for my entire stay. You can tell she genuinely cares about guests and takes pride in her work.     We arrived with low expectations and the room was better then what we expected. The room had a smokey scent. Not sure if it's due to deodorizer they use. We tried to get another room but it was all booked up. The room had what we needed. A fridge and comfy beds. The person at the front desk (I didn't get her name) was very kind and made check in really easy.

    The room had a bad odor and smelled like mildew and felt damp, and the tub was badly stained, this was considered the premier upgraded room. I was switched to another room that staff checked first and said everything was okay to go into that one and it smelled like wet dog and the tub was worse along with the bathroom floor and stain on the bed sheet! I was told that I would be contacted by a manager regarding needing the room switched and a price adjustment would be applied. After being in the second room I checked out early and informed front desk staff of the issues along with showing pictures and was told I need to call the manager to be refunded! I would never stay there

    Nice initial appearance. However, all the electricity in the room (e.g. for phone, refrigerator) had been cut off. Too much dog poop left on grass. Owners were responsible for picking it up but, evidently, they were so entitled that they just left it in the grass. Yes, there were plenty of receptacles for making a deposit. Convenient to airport.

    Most of the furniture in my room was damaged, warped and peeling. The mattress and pillows were incredibly lumpy. To top it off, the shuttle to the airport was at least 10 minutes late (I gave up and got a Lyft)

    I’ve stayed at this particular property many times over the past five years sometimes good sometimes not so good. This time upon check-in, I discovered that the room was not very clean, some of the lights weren’t working, the refrigerator was not chilling, the toilet kept running and running, and the outlets that were inside of the nightstand between the two beds actually sizzled and made gurgling sounds. I notified the front desk and because it was so late at night I said it was fine for the night, but could they please have Housekeeping in the next day and maintenance, especially for the things that I paid for the upgraded room for and wasn’t receiving. They they said they would take care of it, but certainly weren’t very concerned. I had to prompt to make sure that they wrote down what was wrong and when I got back from work that day, only the housekeeping portion has been addressed. For the next few days till the end of my stay, the other items were never fixed and no compensation no direct care nothing was forthcoming. Even when I checked out and said hey, these things weren’t dealt with the girl said yep. So I can definitely say there was a certain lack of care and expect some compensation or something.

    Horrible experience it’s was 90 degrees and the a/c was broke also the room had burn marks and smelled like cigarettes. Also the staff was rude and didn’t want to change my sheets and towels after a 3 day stay. I will not stay here again would not recommend to a friend or family member

    Got a premium room that was supposed to have snacks but they were not there and there was not a desk chair for use of the desk. When the desk was notified they said they would send them up and they never arrived. Room next to ours was being noisy and smoking weed(which is not allowed in rooms, balconies, or sidewalks) causing my room to stink. When i called the desk they said they would take care of it but nothing was done. Have been staying here on a regular basis but no more they have lost my business.

    We turned our AC down to 60 in the room never really got cold. The TV was almost impossible to change the channel and I never could change the volume. I don’t enjoy paying to sweat all night. Not acceptable. The staff is friendly but I wouldn’t stay here again most likely.

    Room was good we got handicap room with handicap parking directly in front of room but could never park there parking lot crazy with to many work vehicles no spots to park close. Woke up 1st morning to trash thrown in back of our truck from people outside our room all night partying and being loud. They dont bring clean towels to your room on 2nd day. All night and day all ya heard was loud Spanish music playing and lots of people sitting outside. Was ok for the money but was def catered more to people living there long term it seemed.

    -I was uneasy with the area. I never had an incident but also felt uneasy - cockroach in room!! Only saw one but, as they say, where there is one….. - room had an odd odor. Perhaps from the years they allowed smoking? Not sure. Some positives: quick, polite check in Comfortable bed (I selected premium) Hot af water!!! In a pinch I could stay again but never bring my wife and kids. I’ll most likely spend the extra money for safer spot
