Ramada by Wyndham Baltimore West

We were told the room we booked wasn’t available due to a lock issue. They put us in another room. It was DISGUSTING. So my husband complained and they moved us to the room with the lock issue. No fridge or microwave. So they said we could ask for them to be moved next day. They moved us again next morning to one with fridge/microwave but A/C didn’t work (90° weather). So we moved back to original room (lock issue) and they had to move the fridge/microwave (and complained at doing so). Even this room wasn’t great, but we were dealing. Due to the lock issue we had to be let in every time we left and came back. So we came back Saturday, husband requested to be let in, lady demanded he bring key straight back and he said 5 mins. Previously they always let us in, not offering the key. She walked away. So he knocked on door. She began screaming that he’s rude and telling us to leave and she’s calling police. She did so we left. Our booking was Thursday 6/11/26-Sunday 6/14/26, but we were forced to leave on 6/13/26. Leaving was fine, because this place is GROSS. Dirty, roach infested, ONE towel that was crusty! Rude staff who don’t help with anything! Expedia attempted contacting for refund and they won’t answer! But that’s okay, I will exhaust every option. I’ve also contacted the parent company, Wyndham. I doubt this is the image they wish to be known for. If you’re considering this place, SLEEP IN YOUR CAR! DO NOT STAY HERE!

The worst place I ever stayed in my life roaches leaks in the bathroom. All my clothes got wet my TV got wet mode everywhere.in the bath room

Horrible environment with trash overflowing in the hallway. Entered the room which smelled highly of Marijuana. Pulled back the sheets and they had several (multiple) stains. Went to call the front desk and phones were disconnected. Left my room to complain to front desk and was followed by a man. I definitely did not feel safe here. And when I asked for refund of money they told me there was a no refund policy on cancelations because I booked through a 3rd party. Definitely will never stay at these properties again.

This is the worst experience I have ever had with a hotel. I traveled 5 hours and on my way there, they tried charging my credit card before I even checked in. When I arrived I was told that since my card was declined and I did not check in by 9 pm (which the check-in details had no cut off time for check-in) that they canceled my room and that they did not have a room for me. This left me and my children 5 hours from home with no where to stay! The woman at the desk was so unprofessional and rude. She wouldn't even let me speak, she kept talking over top of me. The place looked filthy, like a place someone rents by the hour! I would never recommend this place to anyone! We had family coming the next day, I had them cancel their reservations there immediately!

The posted pictures are NOT real! This hotel is absolutely atrocious. People clearly live in most of the rooms. There were drugs on the microwave, something white (yes, it looked just like what you are thinking) all over the fridge, feces all over the toilet, bathtub had some sort of black gross stuff growing in it. I refused to touch anything. Left immediately. Front counter lady said "I don't blame you, they lie". Steer clear!

i had booked two king size rooms , got one king size room and one room with two bed in it. The room with two beds was not up to my standards it had hole in wall didn't look like it was cleaned

There were trash bags piled up in font of the room. Guests making noise yelling and cursing until - 4:00AM. Very surprised to see this was a Ramada. Will never stay again and advise our 1000's of clients that fly in annually to avoid this establishment.

I cannot begin to describe how awful, dirty, disgusting, and unsafe this hotel is. Please do not stay at this hotel. It should be destroyed, demolished, paved over. From the second, I opened the door to my room, I knew that I would not be staying here. All of the linens were disgusting and stained, the hair dryer was only half of a hairdryer with a bunch of exposed wires, lying on the sink. The bathroom door didn’t close and lock because somebody had dug the latch out of it, leaving a gaping hole. There was a large cigarette burn in the shower curtain. There were multiple stains all over the only chair in the room. That was just the room. If you compare the lobby pictures online to what is actually there it is shocking. All of the pictures online are probably from when the hotel was first built and opened. It is definitely not in that condition any longer. The breakfast room was closed due to a maintenance issue which they did not disclose when I checked in. Had I actually stayed the night and expected to get my free included breakfast? I would’ve been very disappointed at 6:30 in the morning. Furthermore, traveling with my 14-year-old daughter, I thought it was not safe for her, not safe for either of us to stay here. I nearly begin looking for other options in the area and checked out. Please please please do not stay at this place, and Expedia please take it off your site as an option.

Yes huge rat hole in the wall underneath the sink and a rat came out the hole and was digging in the trash can. No wash cloths no cups. The refrigerator doesn’t work properly. Outside guest very loud. Bathroom dirty. Roaches in the bathroom.

The lady at the desk was nice but that was the only thing nice about this place. It was disgusting and dirty. Beds were dirty, towels were dirty, bathtub was dirty… We’ve stayed in some lackluster places but this takes the cake easily. RUN - do not stay here!

The place needs to be renovated. They gave me a room with linen that looks like they got it from Salvation Army. I had to go to Walmart to get my own linen. I had to stay in the room only because I was close to the place I was visiting for the week. The picture on the website was misleading.

It’s a nasty, no room service, bathroom is out of service, bad smell in room, breakfast is not minimum standard. I booked for 2 nights but due to horrible conditions we bound to leave the room before other night. I strongly recommend for make out of list from Hotel.com

Bugs, toilet wasn’t working, it smelled bad

No smoke detector in room just wall mount, bathroom exhaust fan cover missing. Heater cover missing. Top of front door bent. No soap in room. Tub was dirty, had to try and clean it. Still couldn't get it clean. Room smelt like smoke. Hotel ice machine had mold growing.

Upon arrival, I immediately encountered the following issues: • The room smelled strongly of cigarettes, making it uncomfortable and difficult to breathe • The room was not clean • There was no toilet paper provided • There was no soap available for handwashing or shower use • I observed a bug in the shower upon arrival • The shower drain does not drain properly, causing water to pool • The smoke alarm was not mounted on the wall—only exposed wires were present, which is a serious safety hazard These conditions are unacceptable for any hotel, let alone a Wyndham-branded property. I have taken multiple photographs as evidence, documenting the cleanliness, safety, and maintenance issues listed above. Because of these conditions, I did not sleep well and felt genuinely unsafe and nervous staying in the room overnight. When I raised my concerns with the front desk staff, my complaints were dismissed and not taken seriously, which only compounded the experience. Based on the state of my room and the staff’s lack of concern, I have serious doubts that this was an isolated issue. I fully expect that other rooms may be in similar condition, which raises significant concerns about the overall management and standards of this property.

The room was dirty, sheets for the bed bas body fluid and smell so bad, towels were dirty, toilet was disgusting no water on it, no shower supplies(soup, shampoo), the door was wide open, it did not close. I went to the front desk and his answer was "Okay". He did not offer me to moved me or reimburse. So, I paid there and have to get another hotel room mear by. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR GO THERE.

We had no toilet paper there is bed bugs snake skin and the heater broke we had to switch rooms and we were put in a room with no fridge or microwave so all the food we had went bad house keeping sucks if you don't open ur door and watch for them u don't even get clean towels

The room was fair, clean. The coffee maker did not send hot water through the brew basket. Cold water in shower trickled continually. .... ** The hotel charged me another $60.90 for the room when I got back home. I had already paid Expedia.!

The hotel had trash everywhere outside and we even had roaches in our bed. Will never stay here again ever.

They got points for canceling an extra reservation and making beds/changing towels daily. Otherwise, this was a very old and run-down motel. We looked at three different rooms before we found one habitable. It had a bug in one bed and in the sink. We would not have stayed had we not prepaid and needed a place for a family death. The heater worked. The breakfast was not worth entering the room.

The hotel had about 15 roaches in the microwave and hundreds of roaches everywhere else. The bathroom was full of dirt pee and poop. The fridge had mold growing out of it onto the floor. My 5 year old immediately started crying and asked to leave. He gave us keys that didn’t work . So he came up and his keys didn’t work. He had to use a different key to unlock the doors. And said they are remodeling and those two rooms were vacant for a while. We didn’t even sit on the bed it was so bad. I’m still waiting for the refund for my $333 for the week I did not stay here. We went and spent an additional $350 at the Super 8/Days Inn.

The bathroom was not clean, there were smudge marks all over the mirrors & cigarette ashes on the bed. The continental breakfast was anything but that. The orange juice machine didn’t work, there was no water, there was only dry cereal & no milk, and the waffles I decided to try were terrible. I would not recommend this place to anyone & we’ll never stay there again.

An hour before check out i went to a store up the street. I came back and my door was wide open. I went in & searched for any people inside. An employee came to the door and asked if i was checking out. I asked if she left my door open, and she said yes. I told her it was not time for check out and that i had items in the room. She didnt care and asked if i was staying another day or checking out...ignoring what i had said.

IF I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE ONE STAR, I would! There were no towels, washcloths, hand towels, soap or anything in the room. My boyfriend and I were in Baltimore for an event, so we checked in and had a great time in the city and when we came back thinking we could wash up and get some sleep, we realized there were no toiletries, any sort of towels, NOTHING! I called to the front desk to let them know and the lady there was loud and rude and told me that I should have told the maid in the morning that I needed washcloths. MIND YOU, I CHECKED IN THE ROOM IN THE AFTERNOON-WHEN THERE WAS NO MAID, AND THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN WASHCLOTHS AND TOWELS ALREADY IN THE ROOM FOR A NEW CHECK IN!! I tried to explain this to her, but she was being a complete a$$hole and I decided to go down there and explain but she CALLED THE COPS ON ME FOR DEMANDING BASIC NECESSITIES! She then threw a towel NO WASHCLOTH OR SOAP-- at me and told me to share it with my boyfriend or else LEAVE because I was being mean for wanting to simply wash my behind!! AND WHO SHARES A TOWEL, first of all; but who washes with no cloth or soap? I waited to until the cops arrived, told them the situation, they told her to issue me a refund and I told her what I thought of her :) and then booked a much better room down the street at Motel 6. Also, the rooms at this Ramada are filthy, roaches, no fridge or microwave, just nasty people running it who clearly want you to be accustomed to be as filthy as they are used to.DISGUSTING!!

Dirty room with roaches

The first room i stood in (140) it had bedbugs. I got bitten at Least 4 times. The following i complained to the concierge about this. They moved me to another room (202) that room had roaches. I will never stay at a Ramada again

We were allocated smoking rooms unsolicited and the smell was terrible. No lights on the corridor to the stairs and toilet doors were cracked. Television service was near zero and the breakfast was near to none. Had a terrible experience ever in American hotel experiment. Regretted picking this hotel and never to go back again despite the good location of the hotel.

I booked two rooms for my family and there were a lot of issues. There was no clean pillow cases, beetles flying around the room, a mouse came out of the trash can, bathroom door wouldn't close, the smoke detector wasn't on the wall with only wires showing, blood on the pillows, head board was falling off the wall, burn marks in the bathroom, shower head wouldn't work, tub filled up with water and no stopper, profanity written on the bathroom door, keys were a hit and miss with working, and bed sheets had stains all over them.

I'd say it was a place to sleep but it wasn't even that. Some clown was outside all night screaming. The place is a dump but for the price it's about what you'd expect. The towels were stained and looked dirty, the place was dingy and clearly not well maintained or renovated in a long time. The bed was average with only 1 pillow per person and you could barely see the TV while laying down but at least they had basic cable. The bathroom is Not great but also not the worst place I've ever stayed either.

PT1 This motel was the worst experience I’ve ever had. My boyfriend and I checked in around 1am and the lobby was small full of people complaining to the only employee there. Already a red flag. But we were tired and just wanted to get to our room. After waiting about 20 minutes to check in we got the key to our room and went up to it. Room 205. Our room door was open, the bed was obviously recently slept in, and the tv was on. We went back to the lobby to tell the employee and he said he already knew that room was open and dirty, as someone had JUST complained about it. He gave us a room that someone JUST told him was open and dirty. The lobby was still full of people complaining about how disgusting this establishment is. So the employee gave us another room to try. As we walked up to the new room we passed multiple rooms with the doors cracked open, beds a mess, even one room with chicken wing bones all over the place. I’d assume those rooms were just left to be cleaned however the fact that we were given a room in a similar state makes me weary. We got to our new room and the door was shut and tv was off! Beds were made and it seemed fine until we looked closer at the bed. There was a used floss toothpick laying on the bed. Absolutely disgusting. We went back to the lobby, still full of people complaining, and asked for a refund. The employee and my boyfriend started going back and forth trying to get a refund. The employee was dismissive, rude, and never once apologized.

I left the same day I checked in. This place was awful, it smelled very bad of cigarettes, the tub was filthy as well as the walls. I would not let my dog stay there if I had one. I was not going to spend the night there for fear of someone breaking in became the building is surrounded by young boys, and their stairways smell like pee.

The room was cleaned properly. The hot tub had a rusty chain and drain with like calcium or lime buildup on the jets, sheets and pillow case had stains , wash cloth and towels was dirty. Tub was dirty. We didnt even stay. Fighting for a refund now

When checking in, we saw a mouse run across the lobby. The toilet wouldn’t flush so we asked them to send someone up. We left to get dinner. We came back and they said they sent someone but since we weren’t there, they didn’t go in but they could come back at 8am and we could use the bathroom in the lobby until then. Unacceptable! They claimed they were sold out and only had a room with no microwave and fridge which was cheaper but they wouldn’t be giving me a refund for the lesser cost. I told them I didn’t care and just wanted a working toilet. They gave me a new room - which did in fact have the microwave and fridge (because there’s no way the hotel was sold out!). This toilet worked at least. Woke up this morning to a roach crawling on my hand. Definitely will not be returning and do not recommend!

The only redeeming thing about this property was the price. A perfect example of you get what you paid for. The property is in extreme need of a complete cleaning and renovation.

The AC filter was filthy, so I had to clean that out myself. The entire room needed a paint job. There were SEVERAL instances of cockroaches in my room (three instances, that I counted).

This was the dirtiest and most rundown, old and broken, Ramada Room I have ever seen. After checked in I went back to the office to ask for non smoking, "We are all non smoking but we can't stop them". Therefore Cannabis smell all days. This hotel seemed to have most of the rooms occupied by long term residents ...without cars. It almost seemed like a halfway house. I do not complain about 2 star hotels. I know what to expect. This was the worst....oh yes breakfast your choice corn flakes or toast with coffee ignore their picture. I could list a dozen complains but why bother. It is in a Great location, minutes to downtown games and 695 and 95 access, good food close but wow, Wyndham should be embarrassed.

I did not get to check in the hotel upon arrival there where people sitting in the driveway I felt very unsafe for me and my family the property was not well lit and the seat or property did not seem cleanly at all. I would like to be refunded me and my family did not feel safe upon arrival arae was not friendly nor safe.

Most of the pictures of the facility aren't accurate. The facility smelled of marijuana & cigarette smoke. The bed linens had burn holes in them. The whole facility was run down, disgusting & not very well maintained. All of the other negative reviews are accurate. There was no breakfast. The ice machine did not work. This hotel needs to be removed from the booking site. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE.

We walked into the room and there was a bad smell. We proceeded to check the bed everything was dirty pillows, sheets, blankets. Towel were dirty and we went to change them and when we changed them the women was a little mad

Upon my arrival the staff was slow in processing my check in. My reservation was for a King size bed. The room was dirty the bathroom was extremely dirty. I went back to the office and all they could offer was a double bed room or cancel my reservation without penalty. It was 11pm and I drove in from another state. The second room was also dirty (not as much) so I took it as I had nowhere to go. The next morning I saw the shower curtain had a big hole in it, there were bugs in the bathroom. The bowl for ice was dusty. I used the towels then left for the day. Upon coming back the towels were folded but not replaced. I used one to wipe something so it was just folded but dirty with the same dirt I wiped in the morning. The phone in the room did not work. It was a terrible experience and I would never stay there again.

This property is nothing like the pictures that are shown on its website. This place is literally trash, from the drive up, to the check-in, to the pool area, to go up the stairs to the rooms smelled like urine. The curtains had mold on it, the board that EMS pick up a patient on was laying down in the pool area and the rooms smell like straight up urine and cigarette smoke. This place is unsafe it’s not for family with children. It’s not for a vacation stay. The worst booking/decision I ever made.

I was bit all over my body by bed bugs.

This place was disgusting. When we first arrived to check in, the worker was sleeping in a chair at the window. He had poor customer service. We got our key card to our room. As we drove around to our room, the place was filthy outside. We then walked to our room, and the smell of urine was overpowering. We went into our room, and it smelled as if someone had urinated on the floor, like in the carpet. It also smelled like cigarette smoke. The tub was disgusting and there was a top to a razor left in the tub. There were brown spots everywhere. The toilet was disgusting as well and not properly cleaned. The ceiling was peeling and coming down. There was dirt all in the crevices, on the walls, and around the lining of the walls. The pillows were nasty as well as they had dirt spot on them and the lining was completely brown. And there were holes on the pillows and sheets which seemed like cigarette burn holes. We teported this to the front desk as we did not want to stay in such unclean and unsanitary conditions. At first the guy, Babu, at the widow was kind of nasty, but when we told him we were going to report everything and asked for the corporate number, he became nice and offered a different room. As we arrived to a different room, it was no better. This room’s refrigerator smelled as if something had died in it. We opened it up and the smell was so bad. There was mold and bacteria in the whole refrigerator. The pictures on the website looks nothing like the rooms.

Garbage in bins near the rooms is NOT removed nearly enough. So the wind blows it all over the place leaving the place looking derelict. Which ties in with the fact that it looks like a homeless shelter. Multiple people there looking like they're living there. People who litter, make disturbing noise, SMOKE just outside the rooms and help the place look run down. Tried staying in two rooms before leaving. BOTH STANK of cigarette smoke, had MULTIPLE cigarette burns on the sheets, bed and chair. The pillows were thin and small like they'd been cut in half. Bathtubs looked FILTHY like they had been permanently stained and needed to be thrown out. The pictures online are HIGHLY MISLEADING. The name on the property is synonymous with high standards and it appears doubtful that they have inspected recently. They need to STRIP this franchise. It is NOT FIT for habitation at the listed price. For a mere $5 more per day I got another place 10 TIMES better. In EVERY way. And as for the service: moderately polite front desk. HORRIBLE housekeeping who BARGED into one room before waiting for an answer while someone was naked and PEEKED through the door when they opened it and it is barred. Front desk seems aware. Two words: DISGUSTING AND AWFUL

DO NOT STAY I booked a non smoking room and tried to cancel that day and wasn’t allowed. So I went to check in the night of my trip, front desk denied they were called about cancellation. Gave me a room that smelled like smoke, was told maybe someone smoked in there last(really??!!) asked for another room, this one also smelled like smoke, the mattress was dirty, floor was dirty along with windows. I could not stay there with my daughter, it was disgusting. I had to book another hotel at 11 at night. This should not even be offered on Expedia as a property it’s embarrassing. I will be fighting for a refund.

The staff was nice and let us check-in early at 1pm since we had to change for a wedding and leave by 1:20pm. The AC worked well however the rest of the room was a mess. All the furniture was beat up.There was no mini fridge or microwave. The bathroom was dirty and we did not shower there. There was no soap or shampoo.There were 2 towels and 1 hand towel that looked dirty. The topper on the bed was beat up and had cigarette burns. The pillows were so old and flat. The complimentary breakfast was only bread, bagels, cereal, & coffee without even hard boiled egg. It was noisy at night and felt unsafe to go outside. It was a non smoking room that smelled like smoke. The smoke detector was disconnected and put in a drawer. Honestly this was the most run down motel I've stayed in my life.

Extremely poorly managed. Roaches (crawling ) and remnants of bed bugs infestation. (Dried bed bugs along baseboards). The room I reserved (with king size bed) was not available. The stuff is unfamiliar with ID processing of the guests. (i.e. inappropriate questions were asked). This property needs to be investigated for compliance and public health reasons. I have blacklisted it in our database.

The pictures on Expedia are very misleading. The pictures make this place look amazing! This is not the case at all. The reception office is very rundown and dirty. I was very hesitant on even getting a key. When I unlocked the door and went in to the room, my husband and I were completely shocked!! This room is very rundown. The office chair was completely torn, burn marks in the sheets to to mention very diry. We walked back out immediately and went to the reception and told her we cannot stay here because is very rundown and not clean. I returned the key. She offered me another room and I declined. She said Expedia would have to get in touch with her to issue a refund. I have reached out to Expedia 3 times now and they have yet to make contact with this lady at the desk. They called and emailed and still no response. They said I need to wait 72 hours for the hotel to respond. This is unacceptable. I recommend anyone looking at this hotel to look elsewhere.

The non smoking room we had smelled like smoke. The refrigerator in our room didn’t work. The continental breakfast had nothing to drink and barely any food.

The upkeeping of the cleaning could be done with a little more effort. The room is spacious but cleanliness is important. It is however located next to food hubs and shopping malls. So thats the only good thing. The hotel is a little drive out of the city area.

Upon arriving there were people moving tubs and box’s, I can on assume the were dealing some kind of eviction. There were people smoking and playing loud music well after midnight. The keys didn’t work to the room, the front desk work told me to wait 5 minutes before trying to use them or put the hatch on to enter and exit until in began to work. I’ve stayed at all kinds of properties, but Wyndham should be ashamed of this one. I can’t stay here in good faith or health.

Everything was so unsanitary. Rooms given were not clean.

The entire experience was terrible not only does the hotel not offer what’s displayed, it’s also dirty, moldy, filled with roaches, dirty linens and an awful smell. Furniture in rooms are broken and old, bathrooms had holes in the tub and the hotel had a lot of crack heads and smell is just musty. No customer service at all, had to go to the front desk several times about our room and ended up checking out before our initial checkout date.

Lobby clerk was incredibly helpful. The room was basically clean and safe with the exception of the tub. It was old and permanently stained black in spots due to over use. It needs to be replaced.

It was terrible after 8 hour drive to this hotel I thought I could get a nice sleep, but nope I get room for me and the kids and both room were dirty. They didn’t change the sheets or pillow. I ask to get a new sheets and pillow to the front desk, but he said the cleaners have everything, so I couldn’t get new sheets.he said to sleep in the dirty bed and in the morning he will bring be new sheets. This was unacceptable so I told him to cancel the room and I looked for another hotel. Now they trying to charge me one day even though I didn’t last 2 minutes on the dirty room.

Walked in after check in and immediately walked right out. Apparently when I booked it, it said non-refundable, don’t remember seeing it, so didn’t get my refund. Don’t recommend booking though. Awful. Cigarette holes in covers, bad smells, other rooms are ajar and just overall, gross.

Its totally unhygienic, would never recomend to anyone. Smells like utine and weed all over the hotel, entrance strairways have garbage lying over, bed sheets were stained, beed room smells horrible one cannot even breath. Broken showers, missing toiletries.

This property is the worst hotel of my life. The room smelled strongly of marijuana. Holes in the sheets, rusty water dripping from the ceiling, NO SMOKE DETECTOR, stained towels. This is an unsafe hotel. My review of hotels.com will depend on resolution of my refund as I left the hotel before the end of one night due to conditions. The front desk said they could not cancel my reservation because it was made through you. I have been attempting to resolve the issue via email.
