We had such a great time with the Inn as out base. Easy walk to the Harbor and Fells Point. The front desk staff were professional, quick to help and really nice. Breakfast was amazing.

The room was very clean, Breakfast was good, parking free and convenient and the Staff was super friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend and come back.

Hidden gem walkable to Little Italy. The room was huge with a huge whirlpool tub. The staff was great. Free breakfast was superb and was delivered right to the room. Multiple TVs and a really nice shower. Would stay there again.
- 5/5
The Carrollton juice was exceptional The breakfast was bland. No salt or pepper was with meal.
- 5/5
facility overall was clean and very accessible to downtown museums and restaurants there was nothing I didn't like. The only issue was the whirlpool tub water drained quickly as we tried using it.

All was Wonderful, amazing mansion! Marvelous experience!
- 2/5
The breakfast, which I was excited about, was enormously disappointing…fake spongy eggs and old veggies in the omelette and weak coffee. Sadly, this was a miss but the hotel was in a wonderful location…quicks walks to the harbor and Little Italy AND the free parking was a huge plus!
- 4.5/5
A little tough with street noise at night on the first level, that's not their fault.
- 4.5/5
Staff and breakfast were excellent. Enjoyed the old decor. The courtyard was really nice to have some down time from exploring. Byo wine and snacks! A little tough with street noise at night on the first level, that's not their fault.

Great location and quiet. Also they had private parking. Very dark. Decor could be updated. Breakfast was ok.

Location is great! Within walking distance to the inner harbor. Clean rooms, good amenities. We arrived early and they gave us access to parking and a room without prior warning. Great breakfast, delivered to our room! Everything was excellent.

Location, the luxury of the room, the decor, the friendly staff and the individuality of the hotel. Plus easy parking! No maid service the entire 3 nights we were there.

The hotel has a great location near the city center and the pier, which made it very easy to get around. The interior design was really interesting, with a strong 1800s vibe. There was tea available in the room, and coffee along with fresh cookies in the lobby 24/7 — the cookies were delicious. The bathroom was huge, and the bathtub with a massage function was a perfect way to relax after a full day of sightseeing and walking. Breakfast was very good, and it was nice that you could choose what you wanted to eat and the time, then come to the dining room when everything was freshly prepared for you. The electric sockets were in some unusual places, but that’s most likely due to the fact that the hotel is located in an old building.
- 4/5
A really lovely experience -- the staff were so kind and warm, breakfast was excellent, the space was charming and the location just can't be beat.

The staff is amazing. The building was lovely and very retro. I wanted to give this place a top rating because the people were nice and the building was great, but I had roaches in my room.

Beautiful lobby and room. Punctual room service for breakfast. The walls are thin, so there’s lots of noise from the upstairs customers. There’s also a lot of street noise. But the staff were accommodating and pleasant to work with.
- 5/5
This inn is a 10 out of 10. The staff was very nice and accommodating. They even upgraded our room to a suite which was incredibly clean and gorgeous. The breakfast is made to order with fresh fruit omelets pancakes. Whatever you think, they'll give you a list and you check off what you want the night before and they'll have it ready for you in the morning and we had it delivered to our room. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Excellent place

Historical building, charming, friendly staff, great food
- 4/5
Clean room, but extradinarily hot. Breakfast was delish but maybe skip the "bacon." the GF pancakes are a must even if you think you don't want them.
- 5/5
The breakfast is hot and tasty, and the rooms make you feel like you're in a palace!
- 4.5/5
Breakfast was wonderful!! The fresh fruit was amazing. The staff was a little flustered when we arrived Friday morning and just wanted to leave our bags. We knew we couldn't check in but they seemed a little frustrated that we were asking

Stunning Checking in was a challenge
- 5/5
This was such a charming bed and breakfast. The rooms were gorgeous and loved the fireplace and jacuzzi tub. Choosing your own breakfast items was a great touch and the location was great. Very quiet and safe. Staff were all soooo nice and accommodating. Would definitely stay again!

Then just wait to see your breakfast the next morning - fabulous. Thank you, Michael, for making our stay so special.

Very nice room with beautiful interiors, marble floored bathrooms, and comfortable bed. Breakfast was plentiful but not that great - omelette was a bit spongy.
- 4/5
Clean room, cozy environment, excellent location, good breakfast, and great service! However, depending on the room, there can be quite a bit of noise. It’s not so much from the street—which gets quieter at night—but more from inside the hotel, starting around 6 a.m.
- 5/5
So happy we chose the 1840s Carrollton Inn! We'll definitely be back!
- 5/5
Quiet little getaway tucked in the city with beautiful outside soft lighted courtyard
- 5/5
Breakfast was excellent, staff was EXTREMELY friendly, not a single negative during my stay.
- 5/5

- 4.5/5
Great customer service and the breakfast was so good.
- 5/5
Staff were wonderful!
- 5/5
We thought the overall stay was outstanding, staff was courteous and king, room was impecibly clean. Location was convenient to little Italy for dinner
- 4.5/5
I loved how quiet it was inside our room. Couldn't hear any HVAC or pipes. Couldn't hear any other guests. You can hardly hear the traffic going by. The bed sheets could have been more fluffier maybe like a comforter,, but I guarantee if I ask for one they'd probably bring one up.
- 4/5
The staff was great. The room was very clean. Breakfast was good. The parking was easy and connected to the Inn. I would stay again.
- 5/5
Great staff, friendly, clean, a beautiful place to relax and recharge.
- 4/5
The only complaint that we had was that there were not enough plugs in the room.
- 5/5
The room was everything we could have wanted and more. The antique vibe of the place made it a really special stay. The staff is also amazing and are there to help with anything you may need. I will definitely be staying there again!
- 5/5
The only “negative” is that we need more syrup brought with the 4 pancakes for breakfast.
- 5/5
An all around fantastic stay! The room was spacious, beautiful, and comfortable. The staff were very warm and hospitable. Location was close to everything--we walked to dinner. Parking was easy, and the included room service for breakfast was a treat! I would definitely stay here again when visiting Baltimore.
- 5/5
Very quaint, clean and comfortable. All staff members were exceptionally nice. The courtyard and patio were charmingly beautiful. The breakfast was very good and with excellent presentation. The room was clean, comfortable and well stocked. The private whirlpool tub is why I booked this room originally….and I loved every minute of it! I will definitely be returning here♥️ Loved it all!
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly, the room was spacious and the period decor was delightful. They went out of their way to insure our needs were met. Easy walks to the Inner Harbor and Little Italy. Will very likely stay there again.
- 5/5
When you go in you feel like being back in the 1800's the furniture is beautiful. The staff is great and will go out of their way to help you. I can't say enough about this place. It's with walking distance to all the pier area. I wouldn't change a thing.
- 5/5
They were very accommodating and they made a special plate of chocolate dipped strawberries for my boyfriend at breakfast because it was his birthday It can be a bit difficult to come and go in the late evening hours because they chain the doors shut from the inside but it is somewhat understandable being in downtown Baltimore.
- 5/5
The hotel has a classic charm to it. Staff was so friendly and all smiles The bed was slanted a little. Lol
- 5/5
Although our room had a major water leak, we were moved to an upgraded room to complete our stay.
- 5/5
Everything was superb! Staff was outstanding Nothing!
- 5/5
The room was wonderful, staff was friendly. The hotel is like a little museum. We had dinner in Little Italy and our breakfast in our bedroom, which was great. We'll be going back for sure.
- 5/5
Hidden gem - great location, fabulous accommodations and a fantastic staff!
- 5/5
Excellent service, lovely place, great breakfast!
- 5/5
Great breakfast, friendly staff and convenient free parking.
- 5/5
Service is excellent! Mike is extremely helpful and informative. It’s close to the charming Fells Point. We also love the jacuzzi. They also serve breakfast in the room although the dining room is very charming. We absolutely love it.
- 5/5
The room was magnificent and very comfortable!! The staff were so welcoming!!
- 5/5
Staff - friendly and professional!!!
- 5/5
The room and bathroom were clean and spacious. The staff were amazing. Very friendly and capable. Great location for walking to inner harbor and more. I would come back.
- 5/5
Michael at the desk was super friendly and helpful. I would definitely return.
- 5/5
The staff was really friendly and helpful! I was able to do a late check in and still order breakfast from the hotel when I got in late with my flight early in the morning (and it was good breakfast!). Loved the option of breakfast delivered to room. And the rooms are so neat and comfortable, absolutely loved the jacuzzi tub. Will definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Huge room. Nice bed. Large bathroom. Great shower. Very friendly staff. Even made chocolate chip cookies. Breakfast excellent.
- 4/5
My particular suite is right over a busy street, but it's comfortable. Beautiful bathroom, friendly staff.
- 5/5
Everything is perfection at this inn. Our third stay and already looking forward to the next time.
- 5/5
Exquisite place to stay. Lovely decor and pleasant setting.
- 5/5
Excellent place to stay! Convenient, easy self free parking. Very pleasant staff
- 4/5
It was a lovely boutique, historical hotel with welcoming, friendly staff. Rooms are big, bed comfortable. Furniture a bit worn. Right near little Italy, Fells Point easy walk away. Parking next door makes staying here in the city easy. Parking was free.
- 5/5
Beautiful
- 5/5
Michael was super helpful. The property was beautiful. Close to little Italy.
- 5/5
We stayed one night and the place is great! Staff were super nice, location is great and close to the Inner Harbor. The included parking and delicious breakfast were amazing benefits to our stay. Our room was large and beautiful. Highly recommend this unique place to stay!
- 5/5
The staff were so helpful and accommodating at check in. I can’t say enough how welcoming they were. Highly recommend the beautiful 1840s Carrollton Inn!
- 4/5
The parking was not secure. My soft top Jeep was vandalized.
- 5/5
Close proximity to everything in the inner harbor. Parking was free and the nightly rate was very modest given the area. And the cooked to order breakfast was great!
- 5/5
Very spacious rooms, wonderful outdoor space and excellent breakfast. Highly recommend
- 4/5
Walking distance to Inner Harbor. Delicious Restaurants close by. Breakfast and parking included. Nice tub. We enjoyed learning about the history of the inn.
- 5/5
Great breakfast, room is spacious and comfortable with old world charm
- 3/5
The room itself was beautiful and the shower was strong and clean. Modern updates. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and huge! If it wasn’t for the noisy night this would be 5 stars across the board, but the main reason you stay at a hotel is to sleep.
- 5/5
All was well
- 5/5
We would highly recommend this property to anyone staying in the inner harbor. It was conveniently located, ALL of the staff were super friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious and the room was great!
- 5/5
Service was amazing. Everyone was so kind and friendly. Room was super comfy, quiet and had great air conditioning. Loved it. Breakfast was awesome. Parking is easy.
- 5/5
Quaint historic hotel. Absolutely loved it. Wish we could have stayed more than one night but we were just passing through. Would absolutely stay here again if we come to Baltimore.
- 5/5
Can’t say enough good things about this place, there’s 24 hr coffee bar (with complimentary cookies), a lovely patio and included made-to-order breakfast! The soaking tub and walk in shower is a great addition. The water pressure is a 10/10. The only thing about this room specifically is that it shares a wall with the kitchen so breakfast can be a little noisy. It didn’t bother us but if it would for you that’s something to think about. In walking distance to most things. We’ll be back for sure.
- 5/5
My only drawback was driving to get there through Inner Harbor traffic, but once you arrive, there is onsite parking that was secured. There were many restaurants within a short walk and I felt safe walking by myself. I would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Highly recommend!
- 5/5
The hotel had a great historic feel and the staff were all very friendly. The breakfast was top notch. Very close to the inner harbor.
- 5/5
A quiet location with in easy walking distance of Inner Harbour, East Harbour, Fells Point and a block away from the excellent Reginald F. Lewis Museum. Wonderful hospitality from all staff and beautiful, period rooms with a great bathroom. The breakfast was delicious and cooked to order. Would always stay here when returning to Baltimore.
- 5/5
Excellent. Exactly what we needed. Exactly what we expected. Room was lovely. Breakfast top notch.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
I love historic aesthetics of the inn and ways that Charles Carroll was incorporated into the history. I was especially grateful for breakfast in the morning; this truly exceeded my expectations. I loved that everything was in walking distance. I cannot wait to come back!
- 5/5
Beautiful, historic inn. Staff was excellent, room was excellent, breakfast was excellent. Walking distance to Baltimore Inner Harbor, Little Italy, etc.
- 5/5
Amazing
- 5/5
Excellent. The service was great. And food was amazing. The room was perfectly appointed and lovely.
- 5/5
My husband chose the hotel for his birthday getaway weekend and we were both very happy with the stay. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and kind. The room was awesome and we loved the little extras like the journal that had entries from other guests. Also, the location was perfect for our wandering souls.
- 4/5
rooms AC was too cold. it was set on 67 and we couldnt turn it off even after asking inn keeper. Had to turn on the fireplace to get it up to 70. Otherwise the room was beautiful. Breakfast was outstanding and the location was perfect!
- 5/5
Amazing mother's Day gift for my girlfriend, jacuzzi hot tub and beautiful breakfast to wake up to, beautiful room
- 5/5
Very comfortable. Decent location.
- 4/5
The staff was awesome and on top of everything. The breakfast was actually pretty amazing. Coffee and different flavor creamers were always available, as well as fresh cookies each night. The only “gripe” I would have is that there isn’t any other bedding available. The blankets are quite thin and there are no extra blankets available. In their defense I bet they would have given us another if I asked.
- 5/5
This hotel was beautifully decorated with individually styled rooms relevant to the period. We had an issue with a rattling air conditioning unit on our first night and was immediately re-roomed to a Suite with no fuss or bother. The breakfast in the courtyard was delicious. I would thoroughly recommend this quaint hotel in the centre of Baltimore.
- 5/5
This is a really great hotel. Just a short walking distance from the inner harbor with tons of restaurants. Very clean, nice shower, easy parking situation, friendly staff. Big breakfast. Unique gem, for sure. Don’t hesitate to book. Thanks!
- 5/5
We booked this hotel on our way to Baltimore for the weekend. So happy we booked it! The hotel felt like an oasis once you stepped inside. The room was spacious and clean. The dining area and the court yard were beautiful. The area around the hotel is quiet and close to everything. The highlight is certainly the staff. Cara thank you for the reading recommendations I truly appreciate it. We also enjoyed the breakfast. Everything was great would recommend this hotel.
- 5/5
The room was beautiful and historic, the staff was wonderful and the breakfast was such a luxury. So pleased with my stay.
- 5/5
Nice little bed and breakfast in Baltimore. Friendly staff and awesome food in the morning.
- 5/5
We stayed here for our anniversary and had an amazing experience. The whole Inn was beautiful and so welcoming. Our room was wonderful and the whole time we were there we felt important and taken care of. We loved our huge bathroom with Jacuzzi tub. The complementary breakfast was delicious and was so wonderful to be able to eat it in the courtyard. It was incredible how they had everyone's meals done and tables set before we sat down. It was like we had this whole Mansion to ourselves and everyone there was only there to cater to our needs. We will definitely be staying here again and hosting our events here. We definitely recommend this place for anyone with any time of travel. Not really set up for kids but we definitely think our daughters would think they were princesses if they were staying here.
- 5/5
Absolutely amazing experience. Historic building turned into bed and breakfast. Everything was amazing. Service was 5star, rooms were clean, spacious, unique, elegant. The daily breakfast was phenomenal and they bring it straight to your room to enjoy. Our room had a dining nook that had great natural light. Super walkable to restaurants and nightlife. This was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Highly recommend.
- 5/5
I absolutely LOVE this place! Good price for a great location. Was quiet, clean and well kept. The two ladies that I seen that worked the front desk was polite, professional and accommodating. I can’t wait to stay again!
- 4/5
charming facility with friendly service and custom breakfast. convenient location but the immediate area is a bit seedy and noisy at night,
- 5/5
The staff are very nice and welcoming. The room was comfortable and cozy. I enjoyed the breakfast which was prepared to order with a great variety. It's nice to find a place that offers free parking close to Fells Point.
- 5/5
Our second time and loved it even more then the first. The staff is wonderful the room was fantastic enjoyed every min. Definitely recommended to everyone no matter the occasion.
- 5/5
Even though it was noisy. I still highly recommend it
- 5/5
Was an utter delight to stay here. From Check In to Check Out, Pure Class. The breakfast was so good, delivered right to your room. This is my new get away spot!
- 5/5
Very friendly staff , beautiful room , easy parking , delicious breakfast!
- 5/5
Everyone was very friendly! The hotel has so much history and the room was quaint and clean. Hope to stay here again!
- 5/5
This hotel was amazing! I really enjoyed my stay!
- 5/5
It’s the perfect blend of historic appearance and modern comfort. Next to Little Italy and walkable to Fells Point, inner harbor, and Patterson Park. And the staff is top notch.
- 5/5
Very nice the shower was awesome
- 5/5
A great 'vintage' B&B with FULL breakfast. Antique furnished rooms. Charming.
- 5/5
the staff !!!!! 5 stars
- 5/5
The inn is incredibly beautiful and well-kept, with coffee and tea always available in the stunning dining room. My niece and I decided to eat breakfast in our room, and the food was both wonderfully presented and absolutely delicious!! I’ve already told family they have to stay here!
- 5/5
The room was fabulous and well worth it though! Once I entered it was like a different world!
- 4/5
A nice,quaint facility in a semi-sketchey part of Baltimore.
- 5/5
Great breakfast, walkable distance to things.
- 5/5
I would stay here again. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Lived the room decore. However, if you’re use to a firmer type of pillow i would bring yours from home.
- 5/5
Very quiet and comfortable friendly atmosphere
- 5/5
The service is absolutely amazing, and the hotel has a vibe we love!
- 5/5
Staff, room and property grounds are lovely!
- 5/5
Comfortable room with easy access to Fells Point and the Waterfront. Intimate setting on the edge of Little Italy. Breakfast was good and convenient in the dining room, courtyard or room. We stay here whenever we are in Baltimore.
- 5/5
Such a great experience. The room was absolutely gorgeous and the staff and amenities were top notch. The breakfast was outstanding!
- 5/5
Great theme.
- 5/5
We had a very pleasant stay at this colonial era b&b. Room was comfortable. Breakfasts were wonderful. Staff were friendly and helpful. Easy walks to restaurants in Little Italy and harbour tourist sites. Highly recommend this place.
- 4/5
The only problem is that it is right next to a busy major road.
- 5/5
A very nice hotel but the airconditioning was noisy and couldn’t alleviate it.
- 5/5
I enjoy the overall stay. The majority of the staff were friendly polite and helpful. My anniversary and Birthday celebration was great!
- 5/5
Very nice but look old nice food
- 5/5
Loved it
- 5/5
3rd time staying here and never disappoints. So comfy, cozy, and friendly.
- 5/5
Prepare to be Wow'd!!
- 5/5
It’s close to major attractions in Baltimore Inner Harbor, it’s simply in a sketchy city. Once inside and thru its area (Private courtyard et al), it’s more than fine. The staff is outstanding- and I don’t say that lightly, seriously first class, the breakfast is solid and if you like a history, or A LOT, this is your place!! I’ll stay here again when I work/visit this area. Cheers!!
- 5/5
Beautiful! Will stay again
- 5/5
peaceful and quiet, great breakfast (made to order)
- 5/5
Amazing bed and breakfast in a great location for a weekend in Baltimore. This 18th century building is a cool experience on it’s own. It was a lovely romantic experience for my partner and I.
- 5/5
We are so comfortable here, and everyone on staff is so friendly and accomodating. Location is terrific... to walk to Little Italy or Camden Yards etc. Coffee service brought to room, fantastic breakfast in the courtyard... and after a good night's sleep. Primo.
- 5/5
Our stay at the Carollton Inn surpassed any of our expectations. We originally booked it because it was something different and unique and we figured it would be cool to experience it, but it was way better than that. The staff were beyond accommodating and kind. The hotel it self was clean and I love that they really pay attention to detail. Not to mention, we had no idea that breakfast service was part of package so it was a pleasant surprise to be able to choose our food and have the choice to eat in the room or in the dining/outside area. And as someone who enjoys history, it was very cool learning so much through this stay. They make sure to really embrace and share the history of the area and the building throughout the establishment.
- 5/5
Great place to stay, walking distance to everything. Breakfasts were made to order and delicious. Friendly staff. Would stay again if in the Baltimore area.
- 5/5
Excellent! Very friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. Unique accommodations.
- 5/5
About 10 minute walk to nice restaurants or bars. The neighborhood was quite and looked to be recently renovated.
- 5/5
All around great experience.
- 5/5
Wonderful Experience. Great staff!
- 5/5
Our stay was great. Staff attentive and polite. Room was spacious and clean. Parking was better than expected and free. Location convenient to public transportation, which for the most part is free! Not far from Harbor or Camden yards. Breakfast was outstanding and we requested to be served in room all three mornings and it was free of charge. Very happy with that! Courtyard was spacious clean and relaxing. Very good place to stay.
- 5/5
True to its name authentic 1840s decor. Beautiful courtyard. Walk to Little Italy many restaurants and lavish pastry shop. Individually prepared breakfast
- 5/5
A very very good b&b experience. Great staff, good room and delicious breakfasts mean that although this was our first visit it will certainly not be our last. Highly recommend!
- 5/5
The free parking is a huge plus
- 5/5
The suite was large. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was made to order and there were many choices. The staff was very accommodating. We stayed two nights and would stay again if we are in Baltimore.

- 4/5
Hotel was great. Outside was a sketchy part of town.
- 5/5
The 1840s Carrollton was amazing. It was like going back in time with the ambience of this hotel. The room was welcoming and nicely furnished. The staff was helpful and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable including baking cookies upon our arrival. Breakfast was delicious and being able to eat outside was great. It was conveniently located near the places we planned to visit.
- 5/5
Great small B&B with a big presence. Stay here basically every time we come to Baltimore.
- 4/5
Everything was wonderful, staff was friendly, breakfast was amazing. Room was dated but clean and comfortable. Bathroom was huge and clean. Walking distance of numerous activities including Inner Harbor and Stadiums. Easy parking on site. No need to pay for parking or valet. Overall a wonderful experience.
