Good news, they welcome pets and only charge $20 per. Bad news, the room REEKED of cat urine. I wouldn’t think of sitting on the sofa. It did not look clean and probably was the source of the smell.. The bed was clean and comfortable, and overall the room was in pretty good shape. But they definitely need to do something about the cat odor.

The staff was helpful but the exterior was deceptive. The rooms had a moldy, there are watermarks and mold in the bathroom ceilings, whcih is also stripping. The carpets are extremely smelly and need to be removed. The exit door near the staircase is a fire safety and the handle is missing which means anyone can jimmy the door and get access to the building. Along with moldy rooms, one room that was booked smelt like someone just finished smoking in there along with the bed not properly done. The showers were not cleaned and lots of hard water marks around the shower heads. The toilet sets are loose which is a liability issue if anyone sits on it and falls. Lastly, the walls are very thin, you can hear the other rooms conversations along with the television.

Location was fine No hot water, no water pressure. There were loose tile is the bathroom next to the shower. It was dangerously the drawer next to the bed didn’t close it kept banging against bed. Uncomfortable bed

Check in and check out were quick and easy. Checked in with staff who were able to accommodate my late check in time. Checked out through the app and dropped off my key cards in a dish. Bed was comfortable. Room was neat. The staff were friendly and nice. Great for the overnight stay I needed. More affordable than most for just one night with no additional fees and included breakfast. First, when I checked in, the employee did not ask for ID, just my name. I feel this is an unsafe practice that makes it easy for someone to steal a room. Second, there was a loud, squeaky door outside my room in the hallway that was constantly making noise all night. Made it difficult to fall asleep and stay asleep. Third, breakfast. It's a small nook opposite the front desk but the size wasn't the problem. The available options were minimal but decent. There were cold pancakes that were rock hard around the edges. I tried adding butter, putting them in the microwave, and adding syrup but they were genuinely inedible. The juices were all watered down. You can actively see the dispenser swapping between juice and water as it pours. The only creamer available for coffee was half and half. The plastic knives they had were too flimsy to cut or spread anything. The butter wasn't left out to warm up which made it difficult to spread since it was too hard. There was also bread, bagels, and individually wrapped iced honey buns. I suppose you're meant to eat in your room which I wasn't aware of and may have missed the detail if it was listed in the booking information but thinking back to my room, there was a small desk and one chair. Unsure how more than one person is supposed to eat unless they expect everyone to eat in bed. But I feel like that's an easy way to dirty the sheets.

Given room that was down a horrible smelling hallway. Room was not vacuumed with visible large pieces of debris on floor. Room had plumbing sounds intermittently every few seconds. Asked to be moved. Moved to a “upgraded us to a suite for our troubles” which had holes in carpeting and more noises in hallway throughout the night intermittently which destroyed the night’s sleep while away from home. Would not recommend. Dirty and will not stay here again. This was 3rd time staying and other 2 stays were some time ago, but not filthy like this stay.

The room was disgusting. Carpet was wet and sticky near one of the beds, it had obviously not been vacced near the dog. The sheet on one of the beds had a hole in it. And the pipes!!! AARGH! They whined and made noise ALL NIGHT LONG! I've NEVER been in a facility where the water pipes kept me up. It was horrific. And the shower the next morning was hot but the hair on the shower walls made me want to throw up. I would NEVER stay here again.

There wasn't a remote for the tv. The water in the shower barely got warm enough for a shower so I just wet my hair- then found out that the hair dryer did not work

The hotel was disgusting. Had a homeless person sleeping in the lobby. The hallways were dirty and smelled very disgusting. Our room did not have hot water and had a large chunk of pubic hair in the toilet really do not know how people stay here have long-term low income residence here as well.

First room had ants all over the place. No problem, moved me to a new room. Got up next morning to take a shower and no hot water. And to make things better, sat on sofa and found ants in this room. Checked out and left.

Room was spacious and clean. Dated facilities. Broken hinges on cabinets, deadbolt didn't work, furniture in need of replacement. Price was the driver, just needed a place to sleep for a night. I'd go back if the circumstances were the same.

The room was small and only had 1 chair for the 2 of us. The TV was mounted high on the ceiling and hard to watch in a sitting position. The shower pressure was weak and the lever was broken. Though the beds were firm and comfortable for a good sleep. Breakfast was subpar with limited choice, worse the coffee machine was out of service, so we left without any breakfast. I thought the cost was a bit high for what it's worth, I will not recommend this hotel to anyone at all.

Room was ok. Sofa had stains on it, so did the cushions on the window. Seemed clean and bed seemed to be clean too. It was an ok place to spend the night on the way home from a trip. Desk clerk at check-in was very friendly, the morning clerk didn't even look at me.

Staff was amazing! The only downside was no usb ports in room, but thankfully Alex at the front desk had one i could use. Alex went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Would definitely stay there again.

The property was very old and worn out. I tried to take a bath and the stopper was broken. The blinds didn’t shut completely. The furniture was damaged. Don’t bother with the breakfast.

The couch was so stained we had to cover with blankets. Paint coming off ceiling in bathroom. Stains in sink unsure what is was but gross. Wet residue stains on walls very gross. The property advertisement does not show current status.

The property was extremely old and outdated, with horrible smelly carpets through-out the entire building. The ceiling smoke detector was hanging off the ceiling. The comforter had stains, and the bathroom faucets were dirty and had rust stains on them. The toilet backed up on us in the middle of the night, my husband used the plunger that was in the bathroom to get the water to go back down and the towels to mop up the water on the floor. When I told the front desk lady at check-out she accused us of flushing something inappropriate down the toilet. She never apologized or took accountability for the inconvenience that we experienced. From the time we entered the door, we smelled the water damaged carpets and there was an air fresher plugged into the wall on the 2nd floor going to our room and that didn't help the smell at all, as the carpet in the room was stained and smelly as well. The property should be removed from the list of hotels on Expedia and Wyndham should be ashamed to be associated with this property. This was a horrible experience and I only stayed because everything else near Syracuse University was booked.

This was the worst hotel we’ve stayed at in a long time. Carpet was worn through, was filthy, back door was broken so anyone could come and go at will. Breakfast was…. I guess they consider this breakfast! Definitely needs some upgrades! Won’t be staying here again!

dIRTY TUB WITH DRIPPING WATER..

This property needs an update, staff were nice, my window was near the designated smoking area, and we could smell cigarette smoke.

The bathroom sink was dripping and the shower would not drain.

They need to update the rooms ! There were no cell phone jacks to plug in the charger ! The front desk lady was very nice and accommodating!

I was surprised to be able to look outside through the HVAC unit. There is heat coming into the room from the misfit unit.

Staff was very nice. The property, however, is well below Microtel standards. It's an old property, pretty shabby. I don't think the refrigerator was working in the first room I went into. The room I ended up in had a broken toilet seat, backing of the mirror coming off in the corner of it, rust stains on the sink faucet, peeling particle board furniture, and the door needed an extra tug to engage the deadbolt. The breakfast area was an afterthought, in with the ice and vending machines, maybe 8 seats. You'll be OK here if you're OK with Motel 6 accommodations.

Key cards didn’t work twice. Moved room after 3rd set required multiple tries. Staff was helpful. Extreme noise coming from adjacent room. Loud banging on wall to the extent that that wall vibrated. Complained to desk twice when it was too bad to tolerate. It quieted briefly then started again. Hotel is tired as reflected in lower price. Wallpaper starting to slough off wall in our room.

Every time we stay here the staff are always very nice and positive people to deal with. We appreciate how welcome we feel with our dogs in tow! A great place to stay!!

The room was damp had a musty smell countertops are falling apart underneath the bathroom was Rusty and when I asked to check out on Saturday, they still charge me until Monday

The first room they gave us had smelled like someone was living there a year The A/C did not work, open bag of Depends diapers in the closet and the bathroom floor was wet like the toilet overflows The male desk clerk asked to see the room and as soon as he walked in he turned and said I will give you another room The second was a little better but still had a smell. Bathroom fan did not work and shower head need attention. The frig and microwave were connected by a cheap power strip what I would consider a fire hazard. With the above I felt safer to skip the free breakfast and eat out instead. Other that that things were grand.

The sheets/blankets were stained even after changing rooms. Found a toenail clipping in the bed. Bathtub constantly dripped water. Breakfast included watered down juice and rock hard pancakes. Bagels were okay at least. The internet would constantly lose connection even after changing floors. Not worth the money for the experience you would get at the lowest priced hotel.

I’m not sure if I’m going to stay there next month with the reservation that I have already made for there…I’m going to check into some other places.

The first three rooms had poor air conditioning the fourth had broken cable box they did move me to yet another room my trip was cut short and the first thing said when I checked out early is you know your going to be charged I said I was aware

Bed was outstanding. No hot water for my 5am shower the morning of departure. Other mornings were Luke warm. No stopper for the sink, thus wasted water shaving with running water to rinse razor.

Outside looks very nice staff very friendly but then you get in and it smells awful and I was charged for my room and then another hold was put on my card even after the charge had cleared for the entire price of the room and I was double charged for for my deposit. House keeping only came one time for our entire stay.

Came up for family and the weather saw fit to stay dreary the entire time. The hotel was older and in such condition. Breakfast was slight, toast and beagles, Coffee was HOT. Our room was okay. We have stayed in worse but it could have been cleaner. The floor/carpet felt damp and sticky in some spots, the bathroom was small and the bathroom door and entrance door was falling apart. The duvet covers were stained. Everything that an older hotel has to offer but it could have been in better shape being the only hotel in the area. The next closest one was 20 minutes away.

The manager was very rude, the TV didn't work they never came to help. Every time we left the room the key didn't work we had to have it reprogrammed. There was an extra charge to have the dog when it said it was pet friendly.

stay was terrible didn’t get to sleep because the bathroom is ceiling. Leak went down and told people and was told I know and was given towels to put on the floor should’ve been given a discount or something on the room money back something I will never stay at that hotel again, nor will I recommend it to anybody I give it the score of a one being the worst hotel I’ve ever been in

First off their breakfast was a joke. Toilet overflowed and was told housekeeping was gone for the day, Husband and Wife just looked at me like they didn't know what to do. Handed me a bunch of towels and a mop and bucket. No discount no changing to another room. We had dinner plans that we had to cancel to clean the flood. Our items got soaked and ruined

There was no salt put down. Even the steps had me slipping. The wheelchair ramp had the same problem.

We requested rooms next to each other and they could not accommodate that after asking three different times. Said due to no clean rooms. The breakfast was not very good at all. Offered bagels and cereal. First morning there were only 2 bagels. Fruits was only apples. No choices

I had stayed at this hotel about 8 years ago and thought it was ok then therefore felt comfortable booking again. We were quite disappointed with the state of the room we stayed in, the carpets need a good cleaning / change, there was some discoloration on the duvet cover, staining & rips in the cushion by the window, the toilet paper holder in the bathroom didn't exist, the toilet paper roll was sitting on the side of the tub. Didn't feel comfortable with the state of the room at all.

The room was dirty. There was a leak running across the ceiling. Couldn’t find the trash can then found it placed under the bathroom sink full of water because it leaked. Every time you ran water it drained onto the floor. Toilet seat was broken. Wallpaper was peeling and the area around the toilet looked like a years worth of urine. Complained twice at the desk - no resolution. Ended up buying air mattresses and staying with family. Do NOT book this hotel. In addition the security door to outside did not shut. The locking mechanism had been torn apart so it wouldn’t lock and also didn’t shut. Contacted company for refund who directed me to property management who sent a nice email thanking me for bringing these things to their attention! Absolutely unacceptable!

I stayed here a few years ago and it was not good, but it was not horrible. This time it was horrible. The sheets were dirty; the chair was broken and unsafe to sit on; the toilet paper holder was broken; the carpet was filthy; the room and halls smelled like stale cigarette smoke covered up with cheap air freshener; the bed was very hard (not firm, but hard, like a board with a thin foam pad over it); the milk provided for the breakfast cereal was past the expiration date, ruling out cereal for breakfast; the bagels tasted like they may have been beyond their expiration date; the peanut butter was so old it would not spread, it was just a chunk sitting on top of the bagel; and the entrance way had not been shoveled, even though it stopped snowing hours before we arrived and a day before we left. This is the only hotel in Baldwinsville and we were only there for one night (Christmas Eve), but we should have stayed in Liverpool or Clay and driven back and forth to my parent's house in Baldwinsville. Fortunately, we were able to borrow clean pillowcases from my stepmom, so we could at least rest our heads on something clean. The one good thing I will say is that the heater worked, and was fairly quiet.

Run down property. I rather pay more and stay at a decent place if i knew. The shower was leaking all night. If you do book this accommodation, please make sure you take a room away from the door after you cross the main reception. All night I could not sleep as guests were slamming the door going to their respective rooms on 1st floor.

The dirty toilet was disgusting. So they moved us to another room. It also seemed like the hotel was full of needy families Which did not really affect us. Breakfast was lame. But otherwise Safe, Hospitable and professional.

Our room was very stuffy and the air-conditioning was so lound it kept waking us up. There is no fan in the bathroom and the condensation after a shower takes a long time to clear. Even the floor was damp and became slippery. I would not recommend this hotel at all.

There was an issue with toilet flushing by itself and I was initially told someone would be there to fix it. Later she came by and it was apparent that I was lied to. I would like to see a reduction on my credit card.

This property had three disgusting chairs in our room. Each appeared to have mold on the seats. Smell of something, probably mold, upon entering the room. Wallpaper ripped in many places. No USB outlets at all. There were outlets underneath the night stands which were very hard to get to. You wouldn’t even know they were there if you didn’t get on your knees and search. The were towels soaking up water in the main lobby. It’s not a good place to stay any more.
