Sultan Inn Boutique Hotel

The good location They did blunder to me. One day of check in they take out my luggage from the room. All stuff outside my luggage including shoes worth $300 they through in trash. I called the police and they promise to give me in morning but they did not.

Location in the heart of old city, rooms are clean, very friendly and helpful team; especially Younis & Rasheed Really excellent value for many; the food in the terrace is perfect

Thank you so much for being so accommodating! We had to drop off our luggage early in the morning, and were able to come back later in the day to check in and move into our room. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and genuinely cared about ensuring that guests have an amazing stay. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. We ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant - both of which were great! If I end up having friends or family visit Baku, this is where I will recommend for them to stay. The location in the old town is perfect, and the hotel even arranged our transportation back to the airport. Thanks again!!

The location in the old city was fabulous. The view from the restaurant was beautiful. I booked this room through booking.com and it was a prepayment and non-refundable. When we arrived at the hotel they wanted cash and said booking.com does not give them payment from our booking and insisted we pay them directly with a different form of payment. We refused to give them cash, as they still had access to our credit card. After many interactions, we tried to pay them directly with our credit card. It was denied multiple times, with plenty of credit available on our card, and Bank of America could not see any attempt at them trying to charge us and having it be denied. Again they wanted cash, which we refused to give them. This went on for days, until the very last night, we were able to get them to send us a link to pay, seeing that previous customers reviews stated that their CC terminal simply cannot process large payments, we were able to pay through that method and could not wait to get out of the hotel. The constant battle regarding payment made our trip extremely stressful and it was completely unnecessary. This hotel simply wants cash, they don't actually accept Visa, Mastercard and Amex like stated on the booking. They claim that booking.com does not pay them for reservations and the whole experience was terrible. Not to mention the bed was the most uncomfortable mattress I have ever slept on. DO NOT STAY HERE

Friendly, helpful staff, clean, excellent location. Surprised that towels weren’t replaced daily nor was bed made, but it was only a minor blemish.

The best part of this hotel was definitely the view—it was stunning and really made the stay feel special. The location is also excellent, close to everything I needed. Carrying my luggage up and down the stairs was impossible on my own, so I always had to rely on the receptionist’s help.

The hotel is a cute property beautifully located in the old town of Baku. Rooms as well as the hotel are unique. The staff is great, the breakfast is amazing…. For sure a great choice for the Azerbaijani capital. The taxi cannot pull up all the way to the hotel but the walk to it isn’t terribly far.

The Sultan Inn delivered. It was a comfortable, well located hotel with great staff, beautiful rooms, amazing breakfast with a view… simply wonderful!!! It is difficult to be accessed by a taxi. One has to pay $10 for taxis to enter the old town and even then the hotel cannot be directly approached.

I stayed one night alone and everything about it was perfect. Exceptional hospitality and truly amazing hosts. My room was very spacious, with high ceilings, an electric fireplace, and a beautiful view of Qız Qalası. Amazing breakfast on the terrace was a great way to start the day. The hotel is right in the historical center — ideal for exploring the area

Everything, amazing location, authentic room. Fabulous breakfast on the rooftop. Everything was perfect. Was overcharged by the staff in the restaurant during lunch which was not pleasant, but otherwise all went well.

the hotel is situated just in font of the Maiden Tower. It is surrounded by many restaurants and has a walking distance to all the main tourist attractions. A great advantage is that it is situated in a very calm area, even if being very central. It is quite calm and silence at nights. The staff was extremely helpful, always ready to efficiently solve any issue. The breakfast was nice but quite repetitive. I would slightly improve the cleaning service as there was dust in the corners of the room, which though didn't spoil the general positive impression

The hotel itself is lovely - it is located in a beautiful building in Old Baku, and we had a fabulous view of the the Maiden Tower and the sea from our room. Our suite was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful and a real treat. Staff are helpful. Our room was directly below the restaurant which is open 24 hours a day. Chairs and tables are scraped across the floor throughout the night, the result of which was that we had great trouble sleeping. The hotel does need to address the situation as it is really not pleasant for hotel guests.
