Diplomat Suites

The suite was spacious and had a beautiful view of the towers, the bed was king-size, and overall, comfy. The suite was moderately equipped and had a washing machine, microwave, fridge, and stove. The staff was very helpful, and communication was smooth. Every day, they offered housekeeping services, which were very helpful to keep the apartment clean. The best part was the additional services; we got to use the gym next door, which was very well equipped. The breakfast service was pretty good with many options to choose from. Because we stayed more than 3 nights, we got a free Airport ride. There were some small annoyances with the overall facilities, although nothing too big to complain about: - The door was rattling and didn't lock so well. - The shower's water temperature regulation was faulty, and it took some time to get it to a lukewarm temperature. - The bathroom had a moldy smell - The internet was fast but choppy.

The room was spacious and comfortable, the staff was helpful, and the breakfast buffet's selection was big and yummy. The gym they partner with was fully equipped, and it was a great addition. The facilities could be in a better state, especially the bathroom, which had a moldy smell, and the shower had issues with temperature regulation.

The location is nice And the studio was spacious First of all, its not a hotel and can’t compete with 4 stars hotels at all. First, we were 3 ladies and we had 6 heavy luggage, nobody helped us with our luggage instead the staff was sitting relaxing watching us. Secondly, I booked at least two hours before our arrival which was at 11 pm, why should we wait in the lobby till our studio is ready!!! They should prepare immediately after my booking not after our arrival! Thirdly, the breakfast is horrible food tastes and smells so bad zero variety and 50% of the plates were already empty! Fourth, the pictures are slightly different no washing machine for example And finally, all the staff have this weird look whenever we enter to or exit From the lobby area. I have stayed in 3 other properties in Azerbaijan and this was the worst experience I don’t recommend it for anyone.

Calm atmosphere, Good Location, security Some maintenance work needed like Heating system was not working throughout my stay and Muslim shower ? was very slow which made me struggle.

The location is ideal if you need a place near the tourist area. The hotel is at a walking distance from 28 May metro station, and the bus to the airport leaves from the stop in front of that station. The tourist area is also close and you can walk safely. The cleaning service was really efficient. They keep the room tidy and change your towels on a daily basis. My room had a lovely view of the city, and the room temperature was fine. Having to leave the building for breakfast around the corner. It’s super inconvenient, especially if you want to go back to your room after breakfast. I mean you basically need to get dressed for breakfast because you must leave the hotel. Another downside is that the price only includes transfer from the airport to the hotel, which is unclear in the offer description. To add insult to injury, the receptionist failed to offer a solution. When I asked for the transfer, he just said that I was confused. He didn’t even try to offer alternatives like letting me know about the bus to the airport, which leaves the station close to the hotel. Or offering to find a taxi would have been kinder. Another problem was the lack of Wi-Fi and the terrible smell coming out of the sink in the kitchen. Fortunately, the problem was fixed as soon as I reported it. Finally, the building is not as modern as other hotels. No card to access your room, but an old key, which seemed pretty safe, but still looking really old.

Worst experience ever. We visited during the F1 which accommodations got much more expensive. They confirmed they accept all types card payment. But when we reached, they said only cash option is available. "we give u discount if u pay by cash, we can cencel your booking for free" they said. Ok, no card machine, then only can pay by cash. Paid the amount they showed, checked in, then when we were going out, they stopped us saying the amount paid had been wrong, and we had to pay more. I confirmed the amount with them at least 5 times, and both ladies said YES. Now asking for more $$$? Our mood spoilt immediately upon arrival. After a long time, finally they admitted their mistake. Tried to apologize by giving wine and fruits. Already useless. U already made your place, city and country disgusting. Better think twice before you book unless u like to spoil your holiday. Nothing

My stay at this apartment-hotel went very well. The property is quite basic and slightly outdated, but still in generally fine and livable condition. I paid 50 AZN ($30) per night for my One-Bedroom Apartment, and that rate was great for the specific unit I stayed in (Apartment #1002). My apartment was large and had a living room with a kitchen counter, a separate bedroom, and a bathroom. I absolutely loved the city views from my apartment! I could see most of Baku’s city center and the seaside area. Because my apartment was on the 10th floor, it was very quiet; and the entrance door was heavy and soundproof – I didn’t hear any hallway noises at all. There was a kitchen counter with all the necessary kitchen amenities, plus a washing machine. The large refrigerator was another big plus. Everything necessary for a comfortable stay was in the bedroom. The Wi-Fi worked very well during my entire stay. The hotel staff at the front desk were nice and friendly, and there is 24-hour front desk service. If your goal is to find a low-budget, centrally located place in Baku that is in good condition, this apartment-hotel is a great option, especially if you’re traveling with family. Overall, my apartment’s condition was okay – there were scratches and dirty marks on the walls, the furniture wasn’t in fresh condition, and some electronics were clearly outdated; also, a few spots weren’t ideally clean and were a bit dusty. The weakest part of the apartment was definitely the bathroom – very tiny, slightly crappy, and old yellow-ish looking. The shower stall was small and uncomfortable (I’m 6’1” and felt cramped), and water leaked onto the floor. The bathroom amenities were extremely cheap and smelled awful. The location of the hotel is not perfect, but still fine. You can walk to the heart of Baku, the Old Town, or the waterfront in about 15-20 minutes.

I liked the modern interior design and the view. I will definitely book again if I ever come to Baku. The value of what I paid is very good. I like it. Cleaning service existing but you need to ask. That's very minor, but in other places hotels will call you or do the initiative.

The staff is amazing and the place is clean. Definitely recommend for others.
