Very clean room! I have stayed here on and off for 6 months. The staff is amazing. They are very accommodating. Any time I need to check in early. They work with me. The money is well worth it. They say you get what you pay for. The breakfast is really good.

I saw this happened when I was checking in. I was ready to leave but the clerk told me that I was already charged. When I arrived in the parking lot at night there was a homeless person in the parking lot and scared me. There was a hole by the shower, poorly repaired. The sink and shower drainage was poor and flushing the toilet also One of the beds were really uncomfortable. The air conditioned wasn't working properly and the blackout drapes had holes in it. Lot's of homeless people surrounding this hotel and didn't feel safe.

Scary neighborhood, staff was not welcoming, breakfast was terrible. But it was cheap. If that's what you want, it is fine. We did not feel comfortable leaving our car in the parking lot ... but no choice and it was fine.

This is supposed to be a choice hotel. Every wall dirty, room needs to be painted. Couch should be thrown out. Every lamp shade had a burn or stain on it. The room was terrible. The bathroom ceiling literally coming down. I want a refund. Extremely dissatisfied.

The room was average nothing special. I noticed the bathroom door was pretty dirty which I didn’t like. But everything els seemed to be cleaned ok. The light kept flickering which bothered us but not that big a deal I guess. We really just wanted a room to sleep for the night so it did its job.

The shower had good pressure and was hot. The staff was great. It is conveniently located off the 99 freeway. The rooms were disgustingly filthy. They had a nice big refrigerator.

The hotel itself was perfectly fine. Air conditioning was pretty loud but it kept the room cold. Not in the best part of town but the hotel was just fine.

There were homeless encampments all around this hotel with people walking around outside. The room was old and smelled extremely strong of cleaning products. There were multiple poorly patched holes in the walls. The heater/ac unit didn’t work

Shower and bath - bad pressure and broken parts. Homeless encampments next door

The person who checked us in was pleasant enough. The place was fine, for Bakersfield. It was definitely dated. The coffee machine didn't have enough sugars/creamers. The creamer was super old too. The website said that we were supposed to get a suite with a pull-out sofa, but there was just a chair. It also said there was a pool. The pool has apparently been closed for years. These are the reasons that I booked this hotel. When I asked the front-desk, there was a different person who didn't speak much English, so I just gave up. Overall, big disappointment. Booking.com should just remove this site until they can meet some basic service and accountability standards.

There was no one at the check in desk to check me in. Rang the bell, called the hotel number no one came. I tried to get ahold of someone for about 30 minutes. It was later in the evening so I had to book another room at another hotel.

The pillows were square cushions size, luckily there were 3 on each bed, I got the room with 2 queen beds.

Highway and railroad noises can be heard. Good price for a very spacious double bed room with a tub. Beds are clean, soft and supportive. The room faces a busy highway and railroad. Woke up a couple of times in the early morning by train whistles and busy truck noises. I don't like the dark decor, carpet and comforter. It is not like the picture. Insufficient lighting, especially in the desk area. Breakfast serves Staples, milk, juices, some fruits, but no eggs, sauges.

There wasn’t anything I liked about this property. Where do I start? This property is in a very unsafe area. Lots of homeless, and prostitution going on at the neighboring motels. The room had a broken beat up hide a bed couch, there were roaches in the bathroom. The tub felt like the floor was sagging in the middle of it. We asked for shower towels because they didn’t clean our room like we requested and they gave us 4 towels that you would put on the floor to step on because they were out of regular sized towels. This place is a joke and I’m very disappointed in this place. I will never be back to this place and I wish I could get my money back.

The overall facility exceeded my expectation for the price! BIG room, nicely equipped, comfortable, quiet, modern, etc. BUT... When we checked in and I was having an internet connection problem. I started to use the phone, only to find that there wasn’t one! The toilet seat was VERY loose and the hair dryer switch was broken. The only way to use it was to press the red button on the wall plug to start it and the yellow button to stop it. That meant no night light in a very dark bathroom at night. I wrote down all of the problems and gave them to the night clerk when we went out to dinner. Thursday morning, the front desk man told me that they were getting a new phone system ‘soon’, so I could not get a phone!!! Thursday evening, when we returned to our two rooms, the key cards would not work. The original clerk had only enabled them for ONE DAY!! We stayed from Wednesday to Saturday and SOME of the problems were not fixed until late Friday afternoon, even though I told the desk clerk every morning and every evening! I loved the place, but the people? Not so much! That being said I would book again and know that interactions with the different staff member could be difficult.

Stayed there 2 nights. We were there for the drag races. It was an average room, that met all our needs. The breakfast provided was great and saved us some money. Loved the waffles. Over all a pretty good value.

The staff were very nice and quick. I was sceptical of choosing this hotel because the area around it is filled with homeless and trash but the actual property was very clean and well put together. A diamond in the rough for sure. But my stay was very nice room was clean breakfast was delicious

It listed free breakfast, we got there at 6:45 a.m. (it opens at 6:30a.m.) Their selection consisted of one banana, no pastries, 4 plain bagels and cream cheese, coffee and OJ, one type of cereal and milk.

Went this past weekend for the wrestling state tournament and this was about 10 min drive from the arena. I checked in and had no issues at all the two nights I stayed. Clean rooms and bathroom. Def saving this hotel for next time I am in Bakersfield

The continental breakfast was not maintained. Was out of waffle batter and bagels. The pipes were noisy for the shower.

My first room had permanent stains on the bedspread, paint splotches on the walls to try to cover damage or marks, and none of my 3 devices was able to connect to the Wi-Fi because I was at the end of the hall. My second room was better but the water pressure in the sink tap was absolutely laughable. This was all still better than the poor guy that parked next to me who had his back window busted and things stolen from his truck, probably by one of the homeless people living in a tent across the street. Pay a little more and get a lot more.

A website I use said this hotel had a hot breakfast. No hot breakfast. The sign out front says elevator. Elevator did not work for the 4 days I was there. In addition this is a very poor area of town. I only had to look out my room window to see a homeless person’s tent and encountered multiple down and outers in the area as well as having to listen yo multiple shouting matches. Staff was friendly and helpful but they can’t help the area that this hotel is in.

The customer service was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. The price point was very reasonable for the venue. Highly recommend!

If you need a room to stay and are traveling light, this is a place to stay. If you are concerned with some transient people walking around the area, it might not be the place for you. This is something that the motel has no control over! They do provide a well lit, secure fenced area for vehicles and your stay. I felt secure and slept well.

We didn’t even check in as the area was completely unsafe with homeless people surrounding the hotel. I haven’t any idea what the hotel looks like on the inside or how clean the room was. My wife and we’re to worried our car would be broken into.
