Practically non existent. Nothing but yogurt and waffles. Sent away for an hour unable to check in when we arrived. They boast about a balcony but there was no furniture on it. Nothing.

Love the stay felt like home very clean they had food and workers were very polite and nice 😊

This place is not at all what the pictures show! It is not nice looking or modern. I had a bad feeling before I even arrived, when I saw it was located on Union Ave. The property is shabby and not well maintained at all. It is in terrible shape, including the rooms themselves. The room I was also given had such a terrible smell it made me extremely ill and I had no choice but to vacate the premises right away!

Have stayed here over other Bakersfield motel locations in the past due to many reasons. Did have to switch to next door room when TV didn't work but was a minimul fuss. Staff was friendly and helpful and room was clean and loved the comfy mattress and quality pillows.

Access to the room was very difficult. I had to schlep my bags into a VERY heavy door and then down a LONG hall and then around a corner and up a long flight of stairs. Then when I found my room, the door would not open. The room was clean but very musty smelling. The pool looked absolutely lovely!

The front desk lady was friednly and very helpful. Excellent customer service!! The food was great and the staff always friendly, respectful and helpful.

Room was filthy and smelled like urine, the lady that checked us in was extremely rude, the “breakfast” consisted of moldy fruit and stale cereal.

Ac was cold, decent bed, just spent the night from a long drive. Room was clean. Worth the price.

The place was horrible. They keep the front door locked because of the number of homeless people who wander in. I was told not to leave anything of value in my car because of break-ins. I felt very unsafe at that facility and did not check in. I have requested a refund for my two-night stay for reasons of fearing physical and emotional harm.

I do want to commend the incredible staff at the front desk. I am elderly and my car had broken down in Bakersfield so I had no way to get around town. I don't normally order food online and there were limited resources near the hotel. But front desk staff members were so very kind. One helped me to order food, and someone assisted me in charging my phone. The staff was the best thing about my stay while my vehicle was repaired.

The room was fine. It was a little complicated to find --i had to go through the long hallway behind the lobby and then cross the courtyard. The bed was more comfortable than I expected, and the bathroom and shower were good. The breakfast was lame--apples, waffles, yogurt, cereal, juice, and coffee.

I honestly did not stay here, i pulled up and the pictures online were totally different. I parked in the parking lot to call and try to cancel and saw a hooker and some homeless that were tweaked out. Had to eat the cost of the room since cancelation period was to late.

The balcony view was a parking lot. You can see the neighbors that live near the hotel working on their car.

The person at the front desk was not friendly and ended up over charging me for my pet. The property was in a neighborhood that the other businesses were either boarded up or had security bars. The only thing nice was the person who checked me out the next morning. We will not be staying at this particular hotel again. I was very dispatched because I like hotel chain.

I just wanted to mention that the woman at the front desk was extremely helpful and attentive. I was tired after a long day of driving and kind of scrambled up the reservation. She was patient and understanding and helped me get it all resolve. I believe her name was Asucena and she was a real credit to her company.

The pool area was also clean although the filter in the pool would have been very useful as there was some dead insects that the kids did not want to share space with. The pet area was just 2 palm trees and a 6x6ft patch of dirt. There was a lot of noise at 5am and this room is right across from the electrical room, which has a conatant high-pitched noise Neither lamp USB charger worked. The room however, was clean and comfy.

The hotel has a policy that they lock the lobby but the exit for my room was through the lobby. I had to leave before it opened and was told I had to wait or go out the back and around. I was with my family and had 6 bags. They staff wasn’t nice and rude. Refused to understand my situation.

This hotel is in a really bad area and I worried about my car all night. They have no elevators and apparently when i checked in at 6pm there were no more 1st floor rooms. I had surgery 2 months ago and my son had a hamstring injury which made it extremely difficult to walk the stairs. It was over 100 degrees outside and when we entered the room, we were greeted to an extremely hot room which had to of been over 100 degrees too. We immediately turned the A/C on high and left the room. About 3 hours later we came back and the room had only cooled to maybe 90 degrees. Beds were really firm. My daughter slipped in the shower getting in. There was no tub mat or grips and no shower bars either. A week later she still has a bruise on her shoulder. Sleeping was miserable because of the heat. I literally had to put my feet on top of the A/C to feel the cold air. Around 2am the smoke detector in the hall began chirpping and it continued till about 8am. I called the front desk and no one answered. We were supposed to stay 2 nights, but we decided we needed to go somewhere else. The room itself was pretty average and mostly clean. The check in staff was nice and the lady we dealt with when we left was very helpful. Apparently my stay was non-refundable, but hotel staff was kind enough to return about 95% of my second night that we were not staying for. We wont be back.

I didn't stay, when I arrived at the hotel, in a bad location there were only 2 cars, the hotel was empty ? so we left and lost my money for the room.

Crazy loud party with 20 rude and disrespectful guests that management allowed and basically supported by keeping them there, cockroach in bathroom, A/C in bedroom made a loud noise at night that I had to turn it off and get hot, wifi is bad

The air conditioning was off when we got in rooms and the inside of the room was in the 90s! It took 2 hours to cool down enough to sleep. which when you’re coming in late and leaving early to get on the road again, that’s precious time lost!

I booked this room as a stopover on a drive from Northern California to Las Vegas. I was traveling alone with two small dogs. I checked-in and charged $50 extra for my dogs and then was told there wasn’t a place for them to relieve themselves except out in the asphalt 105 degree parking lot. I went to the pool area to try to find a patch of earth for them to pee and the pool was crowded and loud and some people were not guests of the hotel. The patches of dirt where I led my dogs were so gross and grimy. When I got to my room is felt so unclean and unsafe that I didn’t feel comfortable even sitting in a chair. The neighborhood around the hotel is terrible. There is nowhere to get food and didn’t appear safe to walk around. I left the facility and found a different hotel in another neighborhood. I basically threw money away by booking that stay. This is not a place I would recommend to anyone

I’ve stayed here about four times over the last five years. It’s clean secure. The property is closed off if you don’t have a room key. Renovated since last time, but even before the rooms were clean and modern. The area is a little bit of a mix bag, but you’ll be surprised that this property is kept up pretty nice and the staff is pleasant.

Pool was great to get in during the hot Bakersfield summer - clean with poolside chairs & umbrellas.., refreshing break from the sun and valley's heat. Fairly priced for the experience - would stay again.

The property is located in a bad neighborhood. People walking the streets at 4am like it's the afternoon is sketchy. Room was not completely clean. Sticky stuff on the bathroom floor, hair in and around the tub. Lastly, the other folks staying there we up smoking weed or worse out in the open. My direct neighbor was blasting music until 5:30am when I left. They woke me up several times screaming and stomping throughout the night. The staff didn't do anything to stop the illegal activity going on in the open or stop all the noise in the night.

Sticky stuff on the bathroom floor, hair in and around the tub. Lastly, the other folks staying there we up smoking weed or worse out in the open. My direct neighbor was blasting music until 5:30am when I left. They woke me up several times screaming and stomping throughout the night. The staff didn't do anything to stop the illegal activity going on in the open or stop all the noise in the night.

It's an older building with gold paint outside, inside and even the bed covers are gold. Definitely needs updating. It was clean and comfortable for the price for the one night.

The hotel was located in a bad area. They charge our card $100 which was not disclosed ahead of time. When walking on the floor is barefoot they were still dirty. It’s hard to get luggage upstairs. Nobody offers to help. There’s no carts or anything for taking your luggage. The only thing they really had going for them was the breakfast, which was excellent.

The hotel was pretty run down and the price was reasonable for what it is. No issues, all expectations were met.

We felt this hotel was an unsecure area. We've had things stolen off the back of our truck and trailer even though we parked right by the office.

My non-smoking room had a strong smell of smoke. The bedside table was sticky with food. The TV shut off for no reason and we couldn’t get it back on fo about an hour.

Very unsafe , homeless people all down the street, room had 2 doors one had a crack open that you could see through. Room smelled just felt dirty

Staff was nice. Area is horrible and not safe. Lobby was clean and breakfast was ok. The pool area had an unusual bad smell.

Staff exceptional, hotel is outdated, but has modern conveniences from upgrade. Area is not safe to walk in.

The place was perfect for a place to stay while our truck was in the shop. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The bed was firm, but still more comfortable than other motels I have been to. The only thing I didn’t like was that the shower didn’t have a curtain and wasn’t deep enough to keep water from getting all over the floor, but it was functional. The area is not very pretty and has homeless down the block so if you are a woman staying alone I wouldn’t recommend it.

Area around the property is NOT great! Not the hotel's problem - just is what it is. We wouldn't walk to anywhere from the property after dark... personal choice. Breakfast has been improved over the years. Enjoyed the eggs & sausage offerings, waffles, yogurts, and juices. Time of breakfast is STRICT...6:30am to 9am cut off! Our only suggestion would be to EXTEND the breakfast time to 9:30am? 9am is early... Thanks for another great stay, Quality Inn Bakersfield! We'll be back soon!

Nice place to stay for the road trip

The area is sketchy, the directions to get back in after 10pm when stepping out for a smoke, and there was a bug in my bed. Not a bed bug, not sure what it was, but it didn't belong there

The place is clean. We like our room. It is really clean with clean towels and bathroom. It matters to us. The bed sheets are clean. Will now consider checking in Quality Inns if ever we go on a trip again. Saying this because we stayed again at Quality Inn in Barstow and it was also clean. And the staff in Barstow Quality Inn named Alicia is so friendly and considerate about our room being near to where we were parked.

The area was a little questionable but the hotel was fine.

It's the very nicest in the price range of several that I've stayed at getting situated in my next adventure. And the beds... Dayum Skippy 💕

Although the hotel is on a sketchy street, the property itself is very well maintained and safe. The rooms are super clean and the staff very friendly and accommodating. They even let me park my car in one of the spots up front near the lobby. Free breakfast in the AM was a lot better than I expected it to be. I had a great stay would go back.

We stopped on the way back home for one night. The room was big and cleans and the breakfast ok.

My only issue is that the property is built around a central courtyard which has been almost entirely covered in concrete. This causes all noises to be amplified resulting in difficult sleeping without earplugs.

It's a very clean property. Our room looks like it has been renovated recently. I'll definitely book this place again. I would highly recommend this place.

Breakfast was ok. Eggs were mushy, sausage was fine. Good Belgian waffles. I would stay here again if I am ever out that way again.

Located in a very questionable part of town. I was worried about my car the whole night. Was asked for money by a guy obviously on drugs in front of the lobby. Room was clean but basic. No elevators and the clerk told me they have no rooms with 2 beds on the first floor which frankly I wouldn’t have wanted to be on the first floor anyway. Felt bad for the lady in front of me who was traveling

I was there for a soccer tournament with my son. Very easy to check in and check out. The only bad thing is I paid cash for deposit, and when checking out it was nowhere to be found. But thankfully that day I wasn't the only person that it happened to so they gave me the deposit back.

This was an excellent room for the cost. It was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. I would definitely stay there again. The only negative was the neighborhood. It's not located in the best part of Bakersfield, so going out for a walk felt a bit uncomfortable.

The receptionist was really nice and patient with me. Room was really nice. Wish i was givin better directions to my room but, it could be i was just tired.

Check in was easy and the staff helpful and polite. The room was clean and spacious. This property is in a rough area but the design makes you feel safe. Breakfast was good.
