The bathroom was big TV didn't work, bathroom sink was clogged, i asked for an extra blanket and front desk said no. Door lock was hard to open from outside and inside both. Room smelled strongly of marijuana. Actually the whole place smelled strongly of marijuana

When I stayed at this property, my charger outlet did not work on my refrigerator did not work and I got paid for it. I tried to talk to the staff the next time I came here, but she told me that they was not gonna be able to talk to 3 o’clock, which it said that check-in was at 2 o’clock the other staff member laughed and told me to have a good day like it was OK for her to treat me like that please do better It was the white girl and the Indian lady I came here so many times and gave them business and still get the messed up rooms. I will no longer be coming to this property.

I was in room *** and the room next to me was fighting all night! The man that had the room his wife showed up and found him cheating with an underage girl and she broke the window and tried opening my door. It was a horrible experience

Even though the room had a label of non-smoking, the room had a definite cigarette, smoking, smell embedded in the walls, the drapes, shower curtain, etc. No signs of animal damage. The refrigerator and microwave was a definite plus because the ice machine is by the office so you couldn’t keep anything cold on ice. Fine for a one night day when traveling.

Fairly updated Entrance door smashed and unlocked. Double bed room is so small, just under 2 ft between beds. Homeless and weed smokers on the promise. Seem like only 1 lady in office and no security for that large property over 70 rooms.

Upon arrival, building surrounding was not clean. Upon walking to my room to open door, it took several attempts to finally open door. But worst of all sheets appeared to be dirty. They had several burnt marks and holes from what appeared to be from cigarettes. Had to immediately check out and go to another hotel and eat up the cost.

I do not recommend this place. It’s in an unsafe area, and the room was dirty upon check-in. We received a smokers' room despite requesting a non-smoker room. The staff were friendly and refunded my stay to Expedia, but I wish the property were in better condition.

Dirty, found roaches droppings around the corners, also a roach in my dog’s water bowl after the first night. I have to prepare my own shampoo and requested more towels, garbage bags, soaps and toilet paper after two nights. Don’t think we’ll go back there.

The room was very nice and clean.

The front desk and room smelled like marijuana. There were cockroaches in the room (and I have photos of that). The staff was incredibly rude and absolutely unprofessional. My reservation was cancelled only after 3 hours past the check in time. I was told the card on file was ran but it was declined (this is not true as I contacted my bank and was told it was never ran at this location). The staff lied about that. There's so much more and I've already spoken to Hotels.com regarding this.

Staff members were nice and the check in process was quick but our room overall was not great. We were in a nonsmoking room but the room still wreaked of smoke. At first the room appeared clean but after walking around with just socks on, I came to realize the floor was very dirty and we found a few drops of blood on the nightstand and floor beside it. The bathroom was relatively clean but the toilet seat was hanging on my a thread.

Once in the room was a step above any other Motel 6 I’ve stayed in…. Very comfortable. Obvious some recent bathroom renovations and… they were beautiful and nice quality. I took note, someone has good flavor. And, lady at the desk was great! Enjoyed her much. Genuine kindness and doing a good intuitive efficient job

The room smelled like cigarette smoke upon entry. Flooring was damaged/lifted in places. Bed near window had damage. Water sounds of leaking in bathroom walls and behind toilet. Smelled like mildew. Shower was dark in flooring where you stand to shower. No refrigerator or microwave. Other patrons staying there were loud, arguing and looked like people who lived there long term.

The first room has an extremely strong urine smell. The moment we opened the door, we were greeted by an unstoppable strong urine odor. We didn't even go in. The staff was great to immediately gave us a different room which has a lingering smell of cigarettes.

This property is clearly for the budget minded. If you're looking for a lot of amenities, look elsewhere. That being said, my room, while stark, was quiet and air conditioned. The bathroom sink, shower, and commode were clean and in solid working order. The bed was comfortable and the TV had a nice variety of channels. The staff was friendly and helpful. In my book, a solid value!

I was assigned a "nonsmoking" room that reeked of cigarette smoke, my clothing and luggage smelled very bad. The door showed signs of having been previously broken and did not make me feel safe. The floors and doors of the room were not clean, the doors had a lot of black scuff marks. This is the worse Motel6 I have ever stayed.

Usually it's clean and bug free...but this time WAS AWFUL...roaches every night, one crawled on me and my baby😶... couldn't change rooms...that was def my last stay sadly but truly😐😑

The bathroom didnt have a lock for my two bed room. It just mildly stayed in place. There was also a hole in the door on the bathroom. There was trash and food all around under the bed. The people next door to me were loud all night long seemingly having a diddy party from 10pm till even after i passed out at 1am. My general experience was this is one of the lowest quality motel 6's I've been to.

The staff that work here are very very nice especially the night check-in lady. The location is centrally located in Bakersfield although it is on the south end there is plenty to eat in the area as well as a whole bunch of gas stations. If you're coming down 99 it's a very easy on and off the freeway either coming from or traveling to Los Angeles. The location could use some remodeling on the interior also it would not hurt to have a security officer patrolling the property. While I was packing up to go in the morning I observed several individuals drive in and drop off packages to individual rooms on the ground floor on the back side of the property. Although I do not know what they were actually dropping off I'm sure it was not Amazon packages. I also observed several individuals rolling around the property that looked like they were ensuring that rival businesses were not there setting up shop. I did see a narcotics cop ride through and look at all of the license plates for all the vehicles over there. I didn't feel unsafe but I could see how someone who's not been raised in that environment would be very uncomfortable. I did see cockroaches on the exterior of the property but none in my room but I will tell you that the threshold for the front door had a large gap so I'm sure that insects can come in. In any case this is motel 6 and it was cheap so there's that. But I really did enjoy the people that work there they're very kind. I would stay here again absolutely.

I wouldn’t suggest anyone to stay here! The rooms were dirty and smelled awful! The mattress was beyond uncomfortable due to chunks missing out of it and all the linen had stains on them! The amount of transients outside in the surrounding parking lot will keep you awake! Just a terrible hotel to stay at!

They didn’t have the type of room that I reserved , so I had to take totally different type of room which was not clean at all! The floor had not been properly swept or mopped; due to the amount of debris left on the floor. The smell of the room was just very unpleasant. All the bed linen had stains and the mattress had pieces missing which left it uneven! Just one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had!

Lady checked me in while face timing a friend and eating dessert. Stairs and walkway to the room was filthy. Next to homeless camp and many were walking around cars in the parking lot and hanging out on the stairs. Had either blood or ketchup all over my white curtain. Toilet had been used and not flushed and the shower was nasty. People in the hotel were playing loud music and carrying on outside until 3am. There was a fight outside of my room on the balcony at midnight and they slammed into my door and window several times. NOT a safe place to stop.

Room was clean but the screws from the door were loose, the bathroom faucet had very low water pressure and it was sink seem to be clogged up. It took a while for the water to drain.

Well the shower had no water pressure but the water was hot so the beds were hard asf... and lumpy...and the people staying next to us were clearly smoking in there non-smoking room cuz you can smell the smoke come in to our room threw the conjoined door between our rooms and all of the homeless people getting high right on the drive ways as we drive to and from the hotel

I am usually a very tolerant person but this stay at this motel 6 pushed me to my limits. It just seems the owner of the property has total disregards for the guests and does not care anymore. Everything was bad about this place and I mean everything. I wish I could upload pictures of the room, sink, shower tub and bed and not to forget that moldy, dusty, smoky smell. My son got sick in the morning. We did not get any sleep and left in the morning immediately.

The first room I was assigned smelled like cigarettes and had a missing tv not to mention all the cigarette holes in the curtain. Second room did not fully close door all the way and the door itself would lock me out everytime I stepped outside and had to reprogram my key to enter it. Honestly this place should be ready to be demolished because it felt like a homeless shelter.

This hotel is something else. There were people screaming, arguing and yelling outside at night time and again in the moring. There were no security officers anywere in site, and.the room door was reworked because it looked like it was kicked open at one point. Will not be staying at this hotel again......

I had an awful stay at this hotel in Bakersfield. I had to constantly kill roaches and pincher bugs in the room. The area felt unsafe, with obvious prostitution activity and lots of noise from other guests throughout the night. There were also many homeless people around the property, and I was woken up early by people yelling. To make matters worse, the door wouldn’t even lock properly. This is definitely not a place I’d recommend, especially if you’re traveling with children. Avoid if you want a safe, clean, and quiet stay

When I checked in the lady was rude… 3:00 checked in but checked in at 3:30… I should checked out at 11:30 I made reservations she said she didn’t have no rooms, but did.. I want better service when I pay my money…

I thought I would save a few minutes by booking the room thru the hotels app n just get there n check in.... Big mistake I get there at 10 pm and was told no reservation and I showed my receipt wit itinerary number and still was told I couldn't get a room so I contact hotels and they call the office to fix issue and after waiting 30 minutes was still told at 1030 they would get a team working on it to try back in an hr... So 1130 comes and still no room and all I was told was srry we are escalating the issue... My money taken and no room n haven't heard a thing... awful

The hotel was not in the best part of town. Many sketchy people hanging around. Homeless etc.. room next door was up all night running up and down the walkway. Another guest said there was a man on the second floor with a ski mask trying each door that night. Won’t stay there again.

The property that Motel 6 has at their self location and at their convention center location is managed by the same team and had blacklisted me from booking rooms therapy because when I originally got there, I asked for a extension on the time when we had a check out, but then I had to complain about the noise and the room next to us and ask for a room change which they could not accommodate so I asked Expedia for a refund, and they said that was against their terms and conditions, and that I would never be able to rent at these two locations again And that and there’s nothing that can be done about this. I tried to contact Motel 6, but they’re privately owned tectal and I was told multiple times that I really didn’t matter because I’m not the one that brought in the income from the hotel the other guest were there more often so they’re accommodations we’re gonna be met before mine. I would like to tell you that the south location and the convention center are one of the worst locations, they may be clean and nice looking but service from provider and staff is horrible. The worst treated like you are second class citizen.

The staff was awesome when checking us in and helping resolve the issue with cockroaches in one of the rooms.

Pillows were very uncomfortable/flat. Shower was weirdly configured and small. Lots of traffic and noise from people coming and going at all hours of the night… Between the hard pillows and the traffic, I didn’t sleep well because I was worried about my car getting broke in to. Pros: very affordable, I was on a long drive and just needed to rest.

I killed roaches my entire stay. Couldn't even get a discount for that. Staff was rude! I had to go to dollar general and clean my room myself. Fights, arguments, lound music, and prostitution all around and in the hotel rooms!

The receptionist was rude to me. She gave me a room that already had someone staying in there. Not sure what was going on with that when I had booked the room ahead of time 1 day prior. Then i was downgraded to a smaller room for the same amount as the "luxury" room. Also just recently the same lady had the nerve to ask me why i was in a bad mood when she always seems like shes in a bad mood. But it wasnt out of concern. She was upset that I had apparently asked for a room. I guess customer service is a thing of the past. Ive met nicer hosts at this hotel. But the lady was just awful. Some training in customer service is definitely needed.

The stay was ok i guess, it was quiet and clean... the only thing is that i checked in at midnight so when i got into room the bed wasnt even made the sheets wernt tucked the pillows were just thrown on the bed....luckily i had my own blanket cuz there wasnt one on bed....

Room was very small, dirty had a urine smell coming from the air conditioner and flies kept coming out of the air vents. Stayed 2 nights had to kill about 30 flies. Strong odor and cigarette smell was suppose to be a non smoking room. Towels had stains on them.

I stayed 3 night and had to stop at office and wait in line everyday to get a passcode for the gate and a nee keycard for room door. They said it was so unsafe that tgis was necessary, i have been working in the area for 8 months and this was only hotel that did this. They said my rrom was remodeled but the bathroom window would not shut so I had to shove towels in the space to keep bugs out. I moved to another hotel and would never come back. Still waiting in my deposit back amd will be calling my bank.
