Enjoy my stay. The staff were helpful, friendly. The rooms were everything I expected.

Room was clean. Staff was nice. Parking was convenient. The location was very noisy though because there was an equipment yard (backup beeping) nearby as well as a nearby train track and the trains blasted itheir horns as they passed by.

The service was awesome!! I had accidentally reserved the day after we were coming and we were on our way! They had no problem changing our reservation! We only stayed one night because it was our halfway stop between our home and Las Vegas! It was very clean and we had a really nice breakfast in the morning!! We would stop here again, if we need a rest!

I'm glad the staff could get a mini-fridge for my insulin. I booked my room through bookings.com, and it said breakfast was included. But when I went for breakfast on Sunday, they told me I had to pay $18, even though my booking said breakfast was included. I contacted bookings.com, and they sent me an email to show the staff so I could get breakfast for the rest of my stay. After I showed them the email, they just said, "Sorry about that, not everyone reads the reservation comments." They didn't even offer to refund me for the day I missed; they just gave me tickets for the remaining days.

So finally about 4:20 I see there’s a text that says “if you need anything just let us know” so I ask “when I asked to be put in a quiet room, why would you give me the one closest to all the semi truck traffic?” I got a reply, “sprry for inconvenience, we can offer you a free breakfast”. I replied, “I didn’t stay here for breakfast, I stayed to here to get rest and I can’t get any rest” their next reply, “we can offer a late checkout” I was I shock. I said “not that I want to deal with it at 4:30 in the morning but how about moving me to a quiet room!?!” Their reply, “we can move you to the first floor away from the noise.” I stated to typed “why didn’t you do that in the first place when I asked for a quiet room, please” but instead I suggested the hotel manager try staying the night in that room, not on a weekend, and that they should give that room to anyone unless they hate that person. I thought I was nice at check-in. Regardless, I’ll never stay in that hotel again and holiday Inn just fell way down my list for business travel. Like last place. Don’t stay here.

We just needed a quick stay on our travels thru California to Arizona. It was priced right for a quick stay. Shower pressures sucks, pillows are not comfortable, no fridge, no microwave, couldn't find any luggage carts, toilet was sitting way too low for a tall person, and the lady at the front was either having a bad day or just doesn't have customer service skills

I liked that the room was quiet, many inn's have a lot of outside traffic noises. I would have liked if they served breakfast a little latter.

The turkey sandwich seemed oily as well. The fries were good. The grilled salmon was okay... the boiled/ steamed vegetables were okay. The meal reminded me of cafeteria food. Just okay.

Of the 13 hotels we stayed in on our recent US road trip, this one gave us the best room of them all, and at a very competitive price. We were in some ways sad that we only stayed for one night. There was plenty of free parking and we had a complimentary breakfast. It's located close to major highways. We stayed here as a stopover between Death Valley and Sequoia National Park. Nothing.

Property was clean, bed was comfortable but the sofa bed wasn’t. Springs were sticking up in the middle so made it very lumpy to sleep on. Staff were ok, room was large. Handy place for a stopover.

The hotel was near a sketchy part of town, there was not continental breakfast with my stay, the elevator didnt work had to walk to the lobby to get to my room. It was overpriced for the room price

Bed was decent Rude staff and horrible breakfast. Giant sign advertising "made to order" breakfast with a $22/person charge for breakfast and $4/per cup of juice (small). We walked in to find a buffet style breakfast with almost everything already gone. Dry, caked on pan eggs. 5 pieces of sausage, no bacon. One bagel, very dry. A few scoops of potatoes left that had been sitting, clearly. We didn't even get to breakfast late and yet this is what we found. Definitely NOT "made to order" yumminess. Very disappointing as was the front desk staff and noise of AC unit in room

There was no silverware there also therwere no glasses for Juice.I saw the girl and I said would you mind getting us some silverware and she frowned at me. She went to the back and brought up some cheep black plastic utensils, so that’s what we used. Never did get napkins. Then I had to find her again and I asked if we could have some glasses too, to get her juice and then she was really upset, from the back and got two glasses and brought them out. I wondered, but abou people coming in after us, what woulto use for drinking glasses. The next day we came in and hoped that it would be a better experience with that. There was no silverware. The table did not been cleared. It was one glass so I use that and my husband a nice fairway. I think the best thing about the whole experience with a little miniature muffins and they were lovely. I won’t give him to stay there again because of the feeling that I got and my husband that she didn’t like her job she didn’t like who she worked with painted my enthusiasm for the company. That’s too bad because we travel a lot anyway, even the guy at the front desk was very hurt with this and acted like we were a real bother to have to be waited on. This as we were getting ready to be a family of sticks came in the cafeteria and looked around, and they didn’t know where it’s it because there was really not many places just sit and the decided to sit down and then they decided they grew up and look at them. The public area of the hotel was clean and pleasant. So was the room. When the neighbors checked in, they were incredibly loud so I asked to be moved. The front desk staff member moved me to a quieter room with a better layout and did so quietly and efficiently. I really appreciated the service she provided. Some people have no idea that there are others nearby in a hotel, and they bang around and talk loudly. Hence, my request to be moved.

The breakfast was horrible. The kitchen staff and server were very nice, but the food was very poor quality and the fact that you have to pay extra for it. It should be very good food very disappointing. There were no options at all.

Cons: Toilet wasn’t flushing properly, cabinet drawers kept opening (likely due to various slamming doors from other people), various outlets didn’t work. Gym was tiny & elliptical machine was only there for show (it was rusted & there was no cord/plug to power it); no towels stocked at gym (at 6:30 am). No included breakfast - you can pay $15 per person voucher for a meal you typically would have for free at similar hotels. Pros: room was clean; bed was comfortable. Close the freeway and some amenities

The hotel itself is pretty nice. The food is terrible. Most of the stuff was great except for the one gentleman that works in the daytime and checks people in was rude not just at check-in, but he was rude. When we asked about early check-in. He was rude. When I asked for a receipt he refused to give me a receipt to take home with me saying that because I booked online he couldn’t print me one out which I’ve had other hotels print me off receipts, and I booked through Hotels.com all the time I thought that was very unprofessional of him, and I will not be booking that hotel in the future because of that one employees demeanor, and how he treats people I also will not be referring my friends to that hotel either and because I chose to stay at this hotel, this time two other people booked rooms at the same time because we stayed there together and next time we will be staying in another hotel.

This was the nicest HI at one time. Now? not so much. And the addition of the 7/11 style store in the lobby with overpriced junk food made our stay more like a cheap motel. There are a lot of less expensive hotels close by that are new and welcoming... No longer worth the effort, hassle and/or expense. The Loyalty to the Holiday Inn system has gone away after this weekend.

The only issue we had is the room we are in is at the back of the hotel and unfortunately there’s a large construction site towards the left of the building that has incredibly bright lights at night that shine directly into our room. The hotel didn’t have blackout curtains only the thin curtains so we couldn’t get the room dark at bedtime. Otherwise, overall good experience. Would just want a room in a different location if we stayed here again.

We just used this as a stopover to break our return trip into two segments (I didn’t want to drive 13 hours in one stretch). The room was fine, clean etc but the property is in an industrial area and there’s nothing really within walking distance. Another note, the room didn’t have a microwave or a mini fridge. Those aren’t really a necessity but it seemed strange since the other three places we stayed on our trip did. The reality is I would stay here again if I was passing through. But if Bakersfield was my destination I’d probably find somewhere else to stay that was more centrally located.

The charge for breakfast was too much for me to justify. The shower was cracked and repaired with little care to color match.

Stayed here numerous times and it’s always been a great experience. With one exception for a front desk clerk who replied to my recommendation that upon check in they could mention you have to request daily service said “well I’m advising you now” All other staff has been pleasant and rooms are clean and comfortable.

I would give it five stars for the staff, but three for the air conditioning system, which was loud. Each time it cycled on, I was shot out of a deep sleep! It did not have a "constant fan" setting, so I woke up four times throughout the night.

It was raining my daughter was as on crutches the floor was very wet she almost slipped. We asked for a handicap room they put us at the very furthest room from the elevator. The automatic doors shut on my daugter while she was using her walker and the doors took her walker and she almost fell. The rooms had so many carpet and furniture stains

everything was great. the only issue was that the elevator worked for us to go up to our room but to go back down the buttons weren’t working to bring the elevator to our floor so we had to take the stairs on the way down. and the black out curtains were fixed so we couldn’t close them to block out the sunlight

Nice hotel to stay for travelling between LA and SF. Rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable.

Our stay was average. The room itself was decent, though it had a few minor issues. Not all light fixtures had outlets for charging, and one wall outlet didn’t work when I tried plugging in the Keurig. When I brewed a cup that was about 70% full, the Keurig overflowed with coffee. It seems there may have been leftover water inside the machine. Overall, it served its purpose for a one-night stay.

Room was very clean and spacious; Hungry Hunter was close by and they had excellent prime rib.

The entry lights dodnt work, room was dark when we arrived. Outlets on the lamps dont work. Carpet was "repaired" but not well. Shower waa had a bad repair done as well. Staff was friendly. Check in was quick & friendly. Hotel property is clean.

The staff was fantastic. From the check in, to the maintenance guy that helped us with our air conditioner, to the restaurant staff. Everyone was very friendly, helpful and professional. The hotel itself was just okay, but the staff really elevated the experience.

Definitely needs an update but does the job for a 1 night stay.

Not the Holiday Inn that I am use to staying. Everything was an extra charge, breakfast, water, coffee. None of the employees knew the policy, any question asked they took 10 minutes to look up. Only ONE elevator working, none of the outlets in room worked, had to charge phone in bathroom. Will never stay at this location again!!!

The 2nd room my sister-in-law was in did not have a microwave or refrigerator.

Room was nice and very clean. Had a Keurig in the room but no fridge or microwave.

Our hotel room was dusty, it seemed that no one had looked at the room for days. The toilet needed an upgrade, we had to request a plunger, in all my years, I've never had to request a plunger. The drapes were old, the sheers were torn. The carpeting in the hallway needs an upgrade. Regarding the restaurant, the breakfast staff needed help, Briana did her best to take care of us.The bed was very comfortable.

after being on the road for 12 hours i just wanted to get to my hotel and relax. Upon arrival there was a sign stating the clerk would be back shortly. A gentleman that was standing nearby informed me the clerk was on lunch break, which i do understand but i was just exhausted. After a 30-35 minute wait i was able to check in. Then in the morning when i went to shower there was a dead cockroach in the shower. I informed the morning clerk and received a half hearted apology but that was it. I probably won't stay here again.

Dinner at the restaurant was just right. And again, wonderful staff. The server was efficient as well and very friendly.

The hotel was nice. The restaurant was very convenient and the food and service were outstanding. It surprised me. The hotel was close to other amenities for pretty much anything you could need.

The ihg represents a huge comfort of hotwls and i was a bit surprise that the have 1 ply tissue in their resteooms for their guest. Also it was a bit noisy somwones kids were running ip and down the hall way all night

We reserved the king standard room and the pics they show online is not what we got. The bed was fine and so was the breakfast. This hotel is in great need of a remodel.

Was very bad customer service

Everything went well had a really good chicken quesadilla and drink at the restaurant. Room clean but TV was complicated to operate especially after a long drive.

In general this is a safe and clean hotel and a good stop over for a trip to Palm Springs area.

We had an alright stay. The staff was polite and helpful. They allowed me to bring my service dog without issue, just had to fill out a general form. The hotel and rooms are very outdated. Furniture and carpet has a lot of staining. Everything else was clean though. The toilet in our room was clogged when we first used it. They came and plunged it but it still just barely flushed paper down. Luckily we were only there for a night. Pool area and common areas were clean. Landscaping outside is very nice. Breakfast was not free. $12 if purchased upon check in, more if in the morning. It worked for us but is a no frills hotel.

The guy at the front desk was rude and unprofessional. The carpet in the rooms were a little wet and dirty. There was hair in the tub.

The front desk employees were great. Very nice and welcoming. Only complaint was the AC unit kicking on very frequently and the room we had was right next to the side exit door which every time it closed would slam and make a big boom and wake us up. Other than that it was fine

Hotel looks brand new and was really nice. Parking lot was well lit and nice. I really wish they would keep the pool a little warmer and a hot tub would have been nice.

Property could use some interior maintenance, the pull out couch could use a good cleaning or replacement however the front desk staff and hotel staff was excellent! They were very helpful and personable I’d totally go back.

People in the room next to us, were doing a lot of noise whole night, we called the front desk and they never solve the problem

I also pre-paid for breakfast but when we got to the property they told us they don't serve breakfast on Mondays and that they couldn't do a refund 😒. The staff was really friendly and the rest of the property looked ok.

Reservation was confirmed at $139 per night including a $10 charge for breakfast. Upon check in we were charged $249...$100 for a deposit which was to be returned when we checked out. Our credit card has been charged the extra $100 for this deposit after being assured it would not be charged. So we have been charged $249 for a one night stay at a Holiday Inn...OUTRAGIOUS! Additionally, no breakfast was being served. Expedia and Holiday Inn should be ashamed!
