Our family really appreciated the pool. The bed was overly firm to our taste, but everything was very clean and well maintained. It would have been nice to have more allergy friendly breakfast items, like hard boiled eggs (no milk) and a dairy-free milk alternative.

It was nice and clean and very convenient They were not enough towels in the room when I requested more I was told no. My room was supposed to be two queen beds. And I was given only three towels when I got to the hotel. I told the receptionist there were four people staying in my room, not two.

I went on site to book a room for 4 night later in the month and I was booked a One night for mothers day.. I trusted you and did not check my e-mails so to my surprise, my bank had a charge for Mother's day. I did not see this until after the fact.. I will not be dealing with Expedia ever again.

Lovely hotel with great staff. My international flight had been cancelled (day of travel). I was rerouted with two flights, missed the connecting second flight. The hotel were very helpful and canceled my first nights accommodation without any problems. I was very grateful - thank you

As a family of 6, we utilize sofa beds. 99/100 of them are terrible. So da beds are sofa beds. This one wasn’t meaningfully any better, but I actually slept fine on it (figured I’d show the kids if Mom can handle it, so can they). Staff, cleanliness, etc. all fantastic. Breakfast at Holiday is my favorite of all the major chains. The cinnamon rolls are soft and warm, the coffee is freshly ground for each cup, the toiletries are nice. Wish they had an EV charger, but that’s never expected, just nice to have. Would stay there again, for sure!

We wanted to use the pool and water was too cold. Breakfast food was cold both mornings we ate there. Cinnamon rolls always warm. They are the best. Sausage cold. No hard boiled eggs in fridge. Potatoes cold and eggs barely warm. No way best breakfast sorry to say. Warning to senior adults…….toilets are so low to the floor. Beds were too hard. So sorry for this review, but hope it helps to make improvements. Location great!

The rroom had to much air refresher. It made me cough all night. The pillows felt like plastic. The bed was ok. The sink in the bathroom needs to be unplugged. The people working there were really nice.

The front desk staff were wonderful. The breakfast was ok. The rooms & property were not in ideal condition. A little dirty & grungy in the hallways & rooms. It was also very hot & muggy throughout the hotel. The beds were not very comfortable either. Overall my stay was ok, but not very comfortable or ideal.

From the entrance to the room was good. The only thing that I didn't like was that the hallways from the floors were kind of warm. But the room was very spacious. Breakfast was ok it was decent. We went down to eat breakfast at around 9am. The only thing hot to eat was eggs and potatoes. Normally when we stay at a Holiday Inn we see either sausage or bacon. My daughter asked for yogurt they had none in fridge. Oatmeal was in a packet and only one fruit was available. Orange juice tasted water downed with no flavor. When I went back to get more potatoes they had run out. Another guest had asked the lady that was bringing stuff out and she said that they would not be bringing any back out. It was only 9:20am and breakfast closed at 10:00am. Guest were still coming down for breakfast and all they had to eat for hot breakfast was eggs. I've stayed at numerous Holiday Inn from LA to Vegas and was very pleased with breakfast.

Terrible experience. They couldn't find my reservation, and their system was down. Eileen, the front desk attendant, was so rude, and her manager didn't care to help. We had to go to another hotel to get ready for the party; we were already late, and it was pouring rain. Never recommend this place. Comfortable bed. Good water pressure. Only issue was multiple ants coming out of the sink in the bathroom. Not sure if this is something that can be dealt with or just a common infestation in this part of the country at this time of year. Absolutely no other issues.

The property itself is fine. They had a security guard overnight watching the cars in the parking. Unfortunately I left a large usb/usb-c battery charger charging in the bathroom, with the box next to it on the counter. I called asking if they found it and they told me the housekeeper didn’t see it and found the box in the trash. Yes it was my fault for leaving it behind, however this particular housekeeper was obviously very dishonest. Just keep that in mind if you book here.

Bed was uncomfortable. Pillows shrank down to nothing when you laid on them. Walls not very well insulated, could hear every single sound in the surrounding rooms, including the dryer down the hall. Food was good. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Located in secluded area, close to freeway. Plenty of parking. Enjoyed the breakfast, rooms were very clean and AC worked great (this is key especially for location). Shower included shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Didn’t need to bring my own extra toiletries. If I’m ever in the area again, would definitely book here.

Being in a High Heat area, the air conditioner only came on a few times every hour, so the air was warm and stuffy with no circulation on the 3rd floor. Would of been nice at least to have the fan. But they take any control from you with the Thermostat that doesn't go below 69 degrees.

After a late arrival, my bed was very welcome and comfortable. Breakfast both mornings was very refreshing. Thank you for the continued good service at HIE.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. I enjoyed the quiet, well-insulated room. Even though the hotel was busy, I never heard anyone. The front desk clerk called my room after I arrived to make sure that everything was working properly and all was ok with the room. I appreciated the friendly and efficient staff. The breakfast, fitness room, refrigerator and microwave all were great amenities along with a reasonable price. I will certainly consider staying here again.

Just need a close by electric charger or an option for electric cars to charge overnight and maybe modernize the hallways and improve breakfast menu.

Stayed in lots of hotels in the area. This one is by far the best and much Cheaper in all over cost. The breakfast is so much better and the ice machine is on all the floors making it so convenient. Will definitely be staying there on all my trips and we go at least 1 to 3 times every couple of months.

If you want more luxury I recommend somewhere else, bath and face towels were very ruff, and maybe 1 ply toilet tissue, definitely not Charman! Breakfast was good!

It was a great stay especially for the price. Water pressure in the shower was AMAZING! Wish i had the same back home or other hotels. The room was very clean and comfortable for my one night stay. The front desk people were nice and informative. Another plus was the breakfast options in the morning included with our booking. Will definitely stay here again when traveling to SoCal.

The hotel was ok, but there was a discarded eye mask from a previous guest next to the bed. And at breakfast there were not nearly enough places to sit and they ran out of food. They know how many guests they have so running out of food shouldn't happen. It was a convenient location and lots of parking.

The hotel room was very dirty and smelled very humid. The pillows sheets and bed had a terrible stench. At night i was bitter by bed bugs all over my body. It was just awful all around.

After a four hour journey with three children, we arrived to find the pool was closed for maintenance. Extremely frustrating given that was the sole reason for booking this specific hotel in Bakersfield. Staff completely unapologetic. However, the room itself was clean and comfortable with all the amenities you would expect to find. Disappointing to see that this place uses plastic cutlery and disposable plates/cups/bowls for breakfast. Poor quality and bad for the environment! Breakfast was so-so but the children enjoyed the pancake machine.

Overnight day. Rooms was clean and beds very comfortable. Breakfast was more than ample. Perfect for a good one/two day visit. Would come again

I would have to say overall, I give this place five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ very clean very convenient to restaurants and gas stations. Staff was really friendly. Continental Breakfast was off the hook. My husband and I have stayed in many hotels traveling, and this one was far off the best Highly recommend!

So far so good. Friendly youngsters at check in. Clean comfortable room, and pretty quiet. Slept good first night.

New clean property. Friendly front desk workers. A bit away from things in Bakersfield but worth it because I felt safe. I’d stay again.

I can't say much as I got in late and had to leave early in the morning. Check in was quick and easy. Plenty of parking available. Breakfast was as expected. Convenient location, close to the airport. No complaints from me!
