I've stayed here quite a few times, and the gentleman who was there the night I was there working the evening shift was extremely courteous and patient with me. I was having an issue with my my card and he allowed me time to get it figured out...That kind of Great attitude will be the reason I will be returning to your hotel

Luis was amazing! He was helpful and kind. Every staff member we had the pleasure of meeting was gracious and helpful. Budget hotel that could put big name hotels to shame!
- 4/5
Very good
- 2/5
The website photos were fine looking. The reality was different. We reserved a king room for us and our puppy. Instead we were assigned a queen room. Dingy bathroom, no shampoo unless you thought to ask at the desk first. Damaged drapes and decor. Needs an overhaul!

It wasn’t right next to the freeway Anything you wanted for the room you had to ask for even down to a coffee cup spoon stir stick

Sparse breakfast with only snack bars, nothing like cereal or yogurt. Coffee was fine. The light above the sink was out. Having said that, the property was otherwise good and the staff very nice and helpful.
- 3/5
They said they didn’t have breakfast because the shipment didn’t come! This hotel didn’t even have Coffee! Shower was not good Staff not friendly or informative!

There was no Coffee or Breakfast even though it says it was included. No shampoo. No coffee machine in the room. Parking was insufficient and better sutlited for compact cars only.
- 4/5
You have to get there early for parking
- 1.5/5
Poor
- 3/5
Bed is firm, and so are pillows. We asked for additional pullows but they didn't have any this time. We heard people walking in floor above. All in all ok for the price.
- 1/5
The burner to cooking food in the kitchen didnt work and they didnt do anything about it and we were harassed for 2 days because of noise complaints but it wasnt even us and we proved it wasnt us
- 2/5
The door locks were difficult to open. There was dirt on the floor. The general smell in the place was not fresh. You had to ask for everything piecemeal like a hair dryer and a coffee pot. There was a paint patch on the bathroom wall. The curtain rod was barely hanging on. The bathtub spout was loose. The phone cord fell out of the handset. When you asked for something you had to go down to the front desk and get it, they did not bring it up to you. The continental breakfast was very meager. The recliner chair in the room was a very nice touch but it was difficult, no it was impossible, to put the foot rest back down once you put it up. The place has potential but it needs some tender loving care and an eye to details.
- 1/5
Horrible staff, they are rude and inconsiderate. I will never take me and my family to the extended stay on Chester ever again.. It's supposed to be for long term stay and families but it isn't built for either.
- 5/5
It's always a good time staying at this location. I never experience any problem here
- 3/5
Clean room and friendly helpful staff. We got a double room with kitchenette. Didn’t come with anything like cookware, tableware, utensils, or shampoo even in the bathroom. Front desk was able to get us a saucepan and three cups, but that was all they had. Good thing I brought our own shampoo and paper plates and plastic cutlery. Would have washed the saucepan and cups but no dish soap or sponge, etc. Comfy bed, remote for tv didn’t work very well, window wouldn’t open. All in all ok, but don’t book the kitchenette unless you’re bringing the kitchen and pack your own toiletries.
- 2/5
Not the best
- 4/5
I reserved King Size Bed room but they gave me Queen size available with Pet. It should be clearly given option of signing for Pet in Hotel.com site or say call hotel to book with pet. It’s a flaw in online booking. Kitchen was clean but you have to ask for pots pan dishes etc at the reception, they were short on dishes, silverware, was a bit disappointment. Staff courtesy and service I give 9/10, we were 10-15 min late to checkout with a large breed dog, they did ask 2-3 times, but were patient until we comfortably left. I like this hotel for cost, cleanliness and staff. Disliked Breakfast arrangement, cause calling “on the go” sounds fancy but in reality cutting the amenities and not being transparent. Thanks
- 2/5
The bathroom door paint and wood was chipping off at the bottom.
- 5/5
This was a good price for a really comfortable bed, giant bathroom, and a kitchen. The night attendant was a young gentleman who made it feel right at home despite my late hour arrival. It’s away from the highway and noise. I’ll stop there again on my journeys. Good deal.
- 5/5
I have stayed here numerous times and the staff is wonderful! Never an issue.
- 3/5
It was alright. Tried checking in at 7pm and there was no one there so i had to return later
- 5/5
It was very clean and staff were very nice
- 1/5
Some what safe
- 4/5
Needs some upgrade but is in good location.
- 1/5
Upon arrival, a man was leaving and said that his room was ready to be fumigated because of bugs. I ignored it and maybe thought maybe all the rooms were like that as soon as my kids arrive for the visitations that I get once a month my kids noticed that there was roaches in the bathroom. I didn’t have money to get a refund and get a place somewhere else so I had to deal with the situation for the night. My kids did not stay for the night. We went out to eat and they got picked up because of the situation. I did not mention the situation because it’s embarrassing to have to explain my family matters to a stranger so I just parted ways with the whole situation before I left, I will not be booking here.

Room. Our bathroom, shower/tub needs a facelift
- 5/5
Very spacious and clean room. Good location.
- 5/5
Room was perfect 👌
- 5/5
Amazing service
- 5/5
This room compared to the room i stayed in on Saturday of that week which had issues was perfect.
- 2/5
The king size bed on the right side had a big sunken hole that was obviously deep. The shades were deteriorated letting sunlight in, in the morning. The bathroom tub was looking like it was peeling or chipping off. Other than that it was an okay stay.
- 3/5
Rooms clean, better then a outdoor spot. Staff is chill, coffees ok, elevator is broken, doors are touchy
- 5/5
Good, safe location right off the freeway
- 3/5
When I arrived and ask if there was rooms available and the price. I was told there were no rooms available. But it was showing me they were still available rooms
- 5/5
Front desk staff were very friendly. The room was very roomy and the mini kitchen was a pleasant surprise. Price was very reasonable.
- 4/5
The 2 chairs could have been cleaner and they had a thin selection of breakfast items but the price was right.
- 2/5
Area seemed unsafe.
- 5/5
Yes clean room. I received the amenities I requested.
- 5/5
Staff are nice people. Amazing location.
- 3/5
The staff was nice. There was a hair in the tub. Tubs need upgrading. Seems like they dont change the filters ro the AC. Gave me nasty allergies.
- 4/5
The front desk help was very personable and made feel safe & comfortable as a woman traveling alone
- 4/5
Nice
- 5/5
Good and clean
- 4/5
The place definitely is in need of some updates but overall it was a good place to stay
- 2/5
Booked a king size bed, and recieved a queen, although did get upgraded to a suite. The room smelled stuffy and so did the halls. Elevator makes a loud bang when lowering to first floor, scared the crap out of me the first time.
- 5/5
Yes very much so
- 5/5
Room was great very quiete place only thing that sucks about it was you have to pay a daily room clean up if you need your room cleaned every day other than that it was great
- 3/5
The shower faucet on room 402 is old and in bad conditions. Leaking water all night. Other than that the room was decent.
- 4/5
Room is great for what we needed clean and spacious
- 5/5
Clean rooms friendly staff
- 2/5
The smell on the floor we were at was very bad, and it said breakfast but there was no breakfast,.

- 3/5
It filled a need at a price point.
- 5/5
Very clean , quiet. We didn’t take advantage of breakfast but say it was available.
- 1/5
Fine, put it in your website cuz we checked before sending them over and it said over 18 with Id and card.
- 4/5
Came here after walking out of another hotel that was horrible. This was a good hotel. Room was clean and the staff is awesome. Would definitely look at staying here again in the future
- 4/5
Everything was ok. It was a quick reservation, property was decent, service and attention from late that day was good. Room was in good conditions and I liked that it had a complete kitchen area. Overall it’s a good place to stay at
- 4/5
Overall was OK close to everything. Only problem I had was the bed was like a sleeping on steel. It was so hard, but I woke up the backache.
- 3/5
Our stay was great! There was a couple of things that probably needed to be repaired but overall a good stay!
- 2/5
Staff could be nicer, the only thing I didn’t like was the room looked like it needed to be updated tub was pealing and found hair in the towels bed and bathroom sink. Also peoples cooking could be smelled throughout the floor I stayed at the whole two days there. Won’t come back. $30 more and you could stay and the Hilton across the street.
- 5/5
I had a wonderful stay. The staff was friendly. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the city
- 5/5
Nice place. Stay there when on business. Really doesn’t have a breakfast except mini muffins and coffee. Food available close by. Elevator was noisy and needed service.
- 1/5
Parking elevators not working hot water issues
- 5/5
Nice rooms very spacious
- 4/5
There are several fast food options within walking distance and a shopping center across the street. This area of Bakersfield felt quite safe. Our room had some issues, but the hotel made it right by moving us to a room where everything was working perfectly.
- 5/5
The TVs are to old picture quality is bad and the hallways have a bad order.. TV's need to be upgraded to Samsung.
- 5/5
Greta stay.
- 1/5
Complained about staff noise to front desk they kicked me out had to leave next morning.
- 5/5
Overnight stay…Room was spacious and clean. During our stay the elevator was not functioning. Had to carry a sleeping child up 3 flights of stairs. Other than that it was good. Would stay again.
- 2/5
There’s a “long term” kitchen, but no utensils, plates, coffee maker, bowls, etc. No toiletries like body wash, shampoo, etc are provided. Bed is so-so. Air conditioning is very loud when it clicks on/off. Parking is limited. Only one front desk person for the entire evening.
- 1/5
Hotel Manager is unprofessional and rude. We checked in late Saturday night. Sunday morning we noticed shower was broken. We called the front desk to report broken shower. We were told maintenance wouldn’t be available until Monday. We were told they would get back to us with a possible solution. After calling the front desk a few times and waiting a few hours due to manager being on his lunch break and not hearing back, I called for an update. The manager had the audacity to say we didn’t need to shower until the next day. I explained to him that my husband was having a procedure done at the hospital the next morning, and we would be leaving by 7:30 AM. so shower was needed today. He confirmed that the showers would not be fixed today. I asked if we could have our room changed, which I had already asked about hours earlier, and was waiting for a response which I never got. He then confirmed that there was no rooms available for us to move to. I asked him to give us a refund for the one day because we would be leaving the hotel, which again I had already mentioned hours before that we would need to leave if they couldn’t help us get a room with a working shower. It was 3:00 P.M. when he confirmed he wouldn’t give us a refund or change our room. We packed up our stuff, booked another hotel and checked out. During checking out, he told us that we were not being patient. He clearly told me there wasn’t anything he could or would do, but yet we weren’t being patient. Worthless.
- 4/5
Near highway and clean facility. Small gym but it was there and easy parking. Breakfast items were available all the time and not extremely high cost.
- 4/5
This Extended Stay America serves their guests well, very clean and quiet. The accomodations at this location made for a relaxing and enjoyable time!
- 5/5
I like it’s near Barnes& nobles. Quiet
- 1/5
Elevator was not working. Was told that it has been out for a week. Had to climb stairs to 3rd floor with luggages. Roaches in the stairway. Carpet smelled in room. Bathroom door had heavy water damage and would not open / close properly. Would not stay there again.
- 3/5
The room is roomy. Front desk is not very helpful
- 3/5
Very limited offers. Terrible breakfasts setups with limited offerings.
- 3/5
elevator wasnt working and we werent told until we arrived at 11pm. they iffered to cancel but after driving 12 hours we didnt want to search new places to stay. on top of that they gaves us the 4th floor to lug our stuff.
- 2/5
The elevator was broken. The room has cigarette smell. Front door was broken. Unsafe
- 4/5
Space os good
- 5/5
Nice room
- 5/5
Due to system update we were kept waiting for almost 1 hr during check in (at midnight)
- 2/5
Manager on front desk did not say good morning when greeted
- 4/5
What I like about this place is it was like an apartment. Kept it clean basically myself service Never Comes on their own. But it's okay
- 1/5
The front desk service could be better. They ask for every guess ID's this is horrible, I been staying in hotels for more that 30 years and they only ask for ID of the person how did the reservation. Since my dad lost his ID, we found another hotel next to it that let him stay without identification. No coffee pots in the rooms. The room came with ZERO utensils, or anything for the kitchen. They mentioned there was breakfast and it was only Oatmeal, muffins and Nutri Gain Bars and Coffee (but at the time I wanted to get a coffee the pot was empty, and we needed to wait 10-15 minutes for the coffee to be ready and the coffee tasted horrible. Looks like they never clean under the beds it was really dusty and hotel needs some repairs. I will never stay in this hotel again

No elevator working torn curtains funky smell
- 2/5
Did care for the location. The night guy tried his best to accommodate my allergies to the feather pillows. Saw three roaches in my room and the morning service person just brushed it off. Seemed like there were some sketchy people around the property. Only two food options for the continental breakfast.
- 5/5
Every stuff there was nice, friendly & helpful.
- 3/5
Broken elevator. No offer of discount.
- 1/5
I was told they had no more rooms for pets.
- 3/5
Really good. Comfortable room. Check in was more difficult than it needed to be.
- 1/5
Hotels' elevetor was out of order, and they placed us on the 3rd floor to carry up all of our stuff with a baby, and a dog. They said we. Could cancel, but they had already charged us.
- 5/5
And the room I had was really nice--clean and "attractive."
- 3/5
I liked the room sadly i stayed for 2 days and not one single day was the room cleaned or the trash thrown away , i had to buy new towels because they were never at the desk and i needed towels to take a shower for the price of the stay and the security deposit of $ 100 was very disappointed
- 4/5
Average motel. No real complaints but nothing stood out. Good value though.
- 1/5
i ask for paper-glass no body gave me
- 1/5
They do not accept all debit/credit cards
- 5/5
Great stay
- 4/5
Great stay. I would definitely recommend the same.
- 5/5
Enormous room, with kitchenette (no utensils or plates, you have to arrange for those through the front desk), but full sized fridge, microwave, stove and dishwasher. Nice table and chairs. We only overnighted, but, as the name says, would be perfect for an extended stay, where meals out get tedious. And very quiet.
- 5/5
Awesome staff
- 4/5
Reasonable price. I had a good stay.
- 5/5
I’ve moved away from home, but every month when I visit my mom I love staying here. Easy and convenient. Reminds me of east coast living. Never had any problems with my car and staff is nice!!
- 5/5
all good
- 3/5
Lots of noise room next to me and people moving furniture and heavy walking in room above!
- 1/5
The room smelled terrible. The upstairs occupants were so noisy even at 2 am so that we could not sleep and the management was not able to address that. Will never ever stay there again. Also The area did not feel safe. we have arrived at 3.5 pm and the front door was locked, that made us believe this area is not safe. At night when parking our car a guy who seemed smoking weed behind the wall next to the parking lot was asking us for food or money. Horrible stay overall. By the way free breakfast was a joke.
- 3/5
The door to my room is crappy, hard to open
- 5/5
The room was clean and everything was in working order. The hotel is conveniently located near food and shopping. The staff were very helpful.
- 4/5
The staff was amazing and I liked the tranquil atmosphere of the property. I was just taken aback from the smell on my floor. I didn't know if it was from someone cooking food in their room or it was just my floor's smell. I got out on other floors just to see if it was mine alone and it was. Everything other than that was great and I felt it was a one off so I didn't feel the need to complain. In fact once I got inside my room I would forget the smell all together.
- 4/5
Mold in some room
- 2/5
The gentleman checking in was rude, the room they put us in, was very noisy neighbors. Their breakfast was only muffins and neutral game bars, and no creamer for the coffee. We will not be staying and it extended America again.
- 5/5
Love this place
- 3/5
Basic comforts provided. Front desk was polite and professional. Rooms could use an update, but were comfortable. Did the job for the night
- 5/5
Most valued stay for the $s
- 2/5
Hair dryer issued at the front desk only. When I asked for a late checkout at 12pm instead of 11am, Abel said no. You have to leave at 11am, no exceptions. I won't be back...and, I am not a Karen
- 3/5
I heard music late at night. maybe this hotel was in a bad area that I did not know about
- 4/5
Lights out above bathroom vanity, icemaker did not work in frig.
- 3/5
The hotel is on the edge of an edgy area, on the backside of shopping center., So, there's food gas etc within walking distance. The hotel looks clean. The room was surprisingly fairly big, with a stove stop and a real, full size frig. It looked clean. However, the bedspread was dusty and with dust come dust mites. Even after spraying it and the sheets and pillows with alcohol, which helped, i could still feel the mites on my face every now and then at night. So, obviously, the room only looked clean. I would have complained to the onsite desk clerk, but he wasn't the manager and from a conversation he had when I checked in with another guest, I learned he would have to call his manager if there was a problem. I won't be back. Can't recommend it.
- 5/5
Liked the bed and kitchen.would have liked more breakfast options.

This feedback for Extended Stay America Suite Bakersfield Chester Lane, CA. 3600 Chester Lane CA 93309. Everything was good 👍 until we found out no cart for us to load the luggages to room and our room was fourth floor. We arrived and checked in at 8:45pm and the front desk person said they only have one cart for whole entire hotels building. We told that we will never stay in any Extended Stay America Suite in the future. It's ridiculous only has one single cart for entire hotel. As the owner of the hotel, how much would it cost you??? We suggest hotels should have four carts, each floor has one cart.
- 5/5
Cleanliness
- 5/5
Great staff
- 3/5
It is probably my fault because I picked an extended stay hotel. When I arrived I guess the host was on break and by the time I walked back from waiting in my car he had 2 other people to attend to. There wasnt a coffee maker in my room and I didn't see any coffee in the lobby until morning. I went to take a shower and didnt realize I had to go to the front desk to retrieve shampoo. I thought I was getting a pueen bed and I think it was a full. On the good side of things staff was friendly. Location for Bakersfield was good and the place was locked well you needed your room key to enter.
- 5/5
Nice, clean rooms
- 4/5
It was a 100% better then the tone I stayed at in aera
- 4/5
Todo estuvo muy bien gracias
- 1/5
Very rude and unprofessional
- 2/5
i was scared in this place.
- 4/5
Peace and quiet
- 2/5
Room was clean. No good breakfast. No shampoo. They clean the room weekly. Parties nights you can't rest. I talked with Abel, manager but he didn't do anything about the noises. He didn't even offer me to change my room; I threatened them to call the police. For the service that I got, the price is too much. I'd said 2 stars instead of 3
- 1/5
Dirty, smelled musty. Sinks cracked. Loud. Do not recommend.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Our check in and out were easy. Abel at the desk was amazing.
- 1/5
Horrible hotel, avoid at all costs

Clean, quiet and friendly staff. Security outside. Safe. Would stay again
- 4/5
The hotel was very convenient close to major highway and shopping center.
- 4/5
The hotel was very convenient closest to the majors highway and shopping center.
- 3/5
The halls smelled like stale cigarettes, the attendant at check in didn’t know what he was doing, the area was sketchy and the “breakfast” was a mini muffin or a nutrigrain bar
- 5/5
nA
- 5/5
One-night-stay; comfortable.
- 5/5
Very quiet and I really appreciate that the front desk called to make sure that everything was okay with my room. I will definitely be back.
- 4/5
Didn’t like that they don’t use money network cards anymore
- 3/5
Not as good as most other extended stays properties but not terrible.
- 5/5
Manager Jessica was amazing
- 4/5
Very nice
- 5/5
Great stuff!
- 4/5
Nice property and very clean rooms.
- 1/5
Water on parking lot property all the time. Carpet was also nasty
- 2/5
Rude and not helpful at all…
- 4/5
What is lacking is the personal attention of the staff. It has always been the case that the staff doesnt make feel welcome. They always seem a little bother that they have to check me in.
