    The website when booking had pictures of a pool. I booked by the website info. I had drove 13 hours so I needed a room. I got there and no pool was there. The worst part was the guests above me. The whole entire night into the morning they were running/partying or jumping. I’m not sure but do loud that all of us 3 in my room couldn’t sleep at all. I had to drive back another 13 plus hours after having no sleep. It was the worst time ever.

    Nothing other than the parking being outside my room. The website when booking had pictures of a pool. I booked by the website info. I had drove 13 hours so I needed a room.     I needed a hotel near a car dealership because my car had broken down. I didn’t have many options. This felt like a rent by the hour kind of place. It wasn’t clean. The sheets were dingy. The carpet was soggy, and the door lock only worked once in a while.

    The manager was very polite and understanding. He explained that because I booked through Hotels.com, I would need to contact them directly for the refund. I reached out to Hotels.com, and while they were helpful in trying to resolve the issue, they ultimately told me that after multiple attempts to contact the hotel, they were unable to secure a refund for me. As a result, I had to book another hotel through Hotels.com for a room a short distance away for the same night. I do want to add that I feel bad for the hotel owner. It appears to be a family-run operation, and the room itself was prepared nicely. However, there is clearly a roach problem that needs to be addressed with their extermination service. Overall, I am very disappointed that Hotels.com was unable to support me in this situation, especially considering I ended up booking two rooms through them for the same night.

    Room was broken down. Lights didn't work over the bed, knob on bathtub came off when trying to turn it on, missing hair dryer and iron, small tv with outdated cable system where I had to use the channel up/down buttons only. No free breakfast was available. Check in/out was through the night window only. Lobby not open at any time. Ice only avaliable by asking the front desk. Missing the second inside lock on the door. Door sticks and was hard to open and close. Limited outlets for charging and plugging essential things in such as my c-pap for breathing at night. Bed hard and the sheets had holes in them.     "Americas Best Value Inn & Suites" was the dirtiest place I've ever stayed at in my life. Being from a different state, I had no idea how terrible this place would be. I was borderline scared to be here and will never return. There was no double lock on the door, the second lock had clearly been removed. Bed comforter and pillow cases had cigarette burns, shower had hair in it, carpet was ripped in multiple places, no breakfast - just like cup a noodles in the inaccessible "office" if you could catch someone in there. Not even one car in the parking lot and now I know why. Go somewhere else!

    There were no covers on the beds just a liner. When I asked for a Blanket I was told that "Why? It's hot" I also asked for towels and was provided dirty towels to me and my family. There were loud banging noises on the walls all night. Which made my baby to wake up and cry. I was not satisfied.

    I went to the address given and there was a church in its loaction and without a phone #. Thw street it was on on expedia was a new church and the gates were locked to the street. no hotel !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The phone didn’t work they had to replace it twice. The TV remote stop working they had to replace twice. I stayed at at a hotel under same name in Sac it was a 100 times better. Do not book this place it’s not even a place to just sleep!!!! Don’t waste your money

    The owner of the property was very nice, which we appreciated. The bed was excellent. There was a nice microwave and a little refrigerator that kept things very nice and cold. However, the lights we too dim for reading, the drain in the sink ran very slow, we had to ask for cups for coffee that would not melt in the microwave, the too short shower looked very new and was hard to operate, the ceiling in the shower was sagging from a leak and it looked like mold had been painted over on the wall. Maybe other rooms are better, but I would not recommend this one.

    It was 115 degrees and the pool was closed, full of construction debris. There’s was a coffee machine in the room but no coffee and only 1 cup. The soap was already opened on the counter. The ice container was filled with water, probably melted ice previous guest. There was no iron or iron board in the room, when requested we were given an old iron with a Goodwill price tag still attached. The rub was full of stains. There was no breakfast prepared, when requested we were shown three empty boxes of cereal and two half eaten loaves of bread.

    The bed was fine, the linens clean. The property has a ton of deferred maintenance. The plug-ins are gouged our, the light switches are scary. The couple who run the place seem nice enough but everything is dingy and dirty. I guess that is why it was so cheap.

    This MOTEL boasted about a "family suite" which it was not. Room was not fully stocked with toilet paper, towels, etc. Tub was filthy with the floor of the tub being black, the walls were filthy,the carpet was dirty to the point of my feet being dirty.

Maintenance appeared to be non-existent as there was damage to the bathroom door, the sink faucet fell apart in my hands, cigarette burns in the furniture and a filthy ironing board. we skipped the "complimentary" breakfast as my wife was worried about the hygiene standards in the kitchen. One bath towel between the two of us, one small cake of soap between sink and shower. I think you probably get the picture, avoid this property at all costs!

Not a good idea to book here.

    At the $144 I paid for a Friday night, expected more from this hotel. The check-in was quick and I had no issues, and the desk clerk was friendly and efficient. The room, however, left MUCH to be desired. There was a hole in the wall from the room door handle, and several places along the wall had pieces of the plaster missing. Not big ones, but enough that it felt like room maintenance was neglected. The tub looked a bit run down as well, and I ended up avoiding it altogether, as I didn’t want to risk it. The main problem I had with this room is that there were several bugs that made an appearance throughout the night, and that just gives you chills and prevents you from ever really relaxing because every little thing you feel you think is a bug.

    The staff was great, however the issues I had were with the facilities. I was disappointed with the smoke detector going off several times during my sleep. The water that came out of the sink was grey. I didn’t not stay there the second night even though I paid for the room.

There were some minor details like missing towels (that were replaced immediately) and some major concerns like cockroaches. We did find 2 in the bathroom and one waiting for us outside in the morning. The pool wasn't functional and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while.

    The room had broken items such as the sink drain plunger was missing. It felt like the shower handle was going to break off when turning on the water. Also towels had burn mark stains. Overall the room wasn't very nice to be in. Also no one was ever in the lobby. I always had to call them on the phone to come out.

    The staff that checked us in was very nice and that was probably the only nice thing. The coffee pot had a dead roach and egg sack. The base boards were coming off the wall, the light switch plate was coming off the wall The breakfast in the morning was horrible. There was not very much of a selection and what was there was fruit that wasn’t so fresh. I should taken pictures to post but didn’t.

    Our stay at this specific hotel was HORRIBLE the blankets had cigarette burn holes , the shower valve was coming off its place and the water pipes were very visible felt as if something would break. We brought this up to management there and they looked at it and said they would call a Plummer on MONDAY. We need a shower today SUNDAY !! Hotels on hotel.com should have better standards and meet specific needs as a working shower at the very minimum. Horrible place I'll never stay at this specific hotel ever again.we had hotel.com verify our complaint and yes management didn't deny it needs work.

    I've stayed at the other Ramada in Bakersfield California and I like it a lot but they were sold out on rooms so I tried this one. I walk into my room and carpet was a ugly green that was worn down and dirty, sheets and pillows were dirty with spots. So I requested a different room and got the same issues but there was a bug in my tube and the headboard was sitting on the boxspring mattress so I requested to just get a refund.

    I rented the room because of its relatively close proximity to the airport and the business event we were attending. For a large hotel chain, I was expecting a better kept, drug free, working and clean environment. I won't be staying here again.

    I would of rathered to stay at a motel 6 for my free night. Walls had holes, I didn't even want to shower. Worst experience ever. If I would of had time I would of stayed some place else. I booked the name, now I know better.

So since all of the freeways are shut down, I was forced to stay with very limited hotel availability. So this location to the job for the night. The bed was comfortable but there was a cockroach in my room.

    I didn't know anyone in Bakersfield n all other rooms were sold out..Expedia gave mr this room for 178 per night..usually this hotel runs around 88 per night. .so way overpriced but comfortable.

    Limited is right! It's in a sketchy neighborhood, the room was dirty, there was about an inch of dust on the coffee maker. There was a hair painted to the door! It's right next to the freeway so it was very loud. They advertised free breakfast. I never saw anything, not like I'd eat something that came from there anyways!

    The room was not as nice/clean as you'd expect to pay $80 for. The pillowcases looked dirty and there were chip crumbs in the bed. Basically looked like they made the bed without changing the bedding. I've had cleaner experiences at motel 6 for $40.

    Close to all local conveniences, stores and freeway. It felt like the bed had bedbugs, bathroom as not cleaned, couldn't use toilet or shower because we found them dirty.
