I asked if there were extra blankets in the room, she said without looking up, you would have to ask for one. No further response from her. So I asked, can I please have an extra blanket, to which she went in the back, brought it out and put it roughly on the counter. The room we were given had a dank musty smell and the heater when I turned it on smelled like old cigarette butts. My husband and I both woke with headaches and stuffy noses. The bathroom sink did not have any hot water, however the shower did. I would never recommend this place and I will never stay here again.

Location Carpet was disgusting in both rooms , the sink smelled like sewage in room 207, and the door into the room was unacceptable and felt very low grade with paint chipping and rust- breakfast was not breakfast. When I arrived it took 45 minutes for them to even find my reservation and I was blamed for not making it

Just a one night stay but enjoyed the very clean room, very comfortable bed, and tiled bathroom. Surprised that there is no fan in the bathroom, and staff was unable to make our tv remote work. Would also add the room door had seal gasket worn away so could let rain in.

The exterior of the building shows rotting wood and peeling paint. The pool is closed permanently and is covered with tarps. The outer stairwell and walkways are dirty and cracked. This property is not maintained! The rooms are not thoroughly cleaned or vacuumed under and around the beds. There is hair on the bathroom floor as well. While internet is available, I could not connect the television to the internet. The breakfast is minimal. This is not a good place to stay.

  • Katie Apr 2026 · via expedia

This building has been neglected, it has exposed rotting wood, years of failing to do basic outside maintenance and the rooms were lightly cleaned with crumbs under the beds and a bathroom that hadn’t been swept out. In addition to that, the pool has been closed for years and Expedia has not updated that information. This hotel does not deserve the rating that it has and I will not book here again. The beds, however, were comfortable.

The only thing keeping this from being a 5‑star stay is the pool and hot tub area. They could definitely use some maintenance and attention. It wasn’t a deal‑breaker, but it stood out compared to how well everything else was taken care of. All good!

6 night stay for my brother and me in one room and two sisters in the adjoining room. I think room service could have been more attentive, checking to see if we needed anything, etc as the rooms were not cleaned for the length of our stay, but we did catch housekeeping staff outside to give them garbage and request towels/linens. One morning breakfast (12/9) was not set up early, between 6 and 7:30 there was little to nothing put out, but all other mornings were quite good. Rooms and beds were comfortable, satisfactory. Parking was adequate. We were there in mid-December so the hotel was not very busy at all. Nice amenities/stores within walking distance and ferry is 5 minutes away, driving.

First, there was an unpleasant odor in the room when we arrived, which only dissipated after several hours of running the room ventilation. It was disappointing that the cleaning staff hadn’t addressed this before our arrival. Additionally, the hotel also does not have a kitchen in the breakfast area, so there was no hot food like eggs or bacon that contain proteins — only a continental breakfast with waffles, coffee, milk, cereal, and packaged breads. Also, I’m not sure if all rooms have the same features, but our room did not have a bathroom fan, so we couldn’t use it as needed. After our son used the bathroom (number 2), we had to go to the lobby restroom due to the lack of ventilation. Overall, the stay was below our expectations.

Having traveled many miles and stayed at many brands of hotels, I find this was rather expensive for an average hotel. Lacks any great amenities. And the way we paid for our stay there was a ridiculous system. Freezing funds for the charge for our stay was insulting. Like we're going to run off and not pay our bill. Just do what most hotels do - charge the full amount upon arrival. I have never experienced this system. If all Quality Inns are now doing this, I will never be staying at this brand again. Breakfast as subpar for the nightly charge. Location was acceptable.

The hotel was clean and quiet for the most part. It was near a CVS and Safeway so it was easy to go pick something up if we needed it. It was also about a mile walk from the Ferry so we were able to take a nice walk there to get over to Downtown Seattle. The hotel itself was pretty average but a nice safe place to sleep when we weren't out exploring the area.

Front Desk was extremely inflexible. I have booked thru Expedia for a long time and at Silver status for years. Quality Inn has always been my favorite chain. However, I am definitely beginning to give it a 2nd thought now. I always get a little extra consideration about check in (early if the room is ready) check out (late) thru Expedia being a Platinum member. However, this hotel was NOT buzzing at all for check out even for a minute later (we asked for an extra 30 minutes as we woke up a little late). I thought that was very inconsiderate and rude. Breakfast quality was actually worse than Motel 6. Won't be my first choice next time !!!

The door to our room was difficult to close since there was little clearance between the door and the carpet. We were not told that our room would not be cleaned (we stayed 2 nights) and the sheets and towels changed. Other than the front desk clerk, there seemed to be no other staff on site most of the time. The breakfast “buffet” was extremely sparse: there was no juice, bread or bagels and no hot choices, eg oatmeal or eggs. The second morning, the desk clerk informed us that there was no breakfast since she hadn’t had time to set it up. When we asked for compensation, she was extremely rude, and told us it was complimentary and therefore we hadn’t paid for it anyway! Overall our stay was quite unpleasant and we definitely would not stay here again.

A older building definitely has had improvements, but still feels like a older hotel in lots of ways. There’s no elevator, so one thing to keep in mind. I enjoyed that the room felt roomy and that I could run the fan all night without it shutting off. The evening staff had a very “frank” energy, and the morning staff had a sense of “urgency” but overall not bad bad at all. I really enjoyed the convenience of the location, right next to everything anyone could need.

The hotel description says 50MB internet but it is 10MB (or slower). One of the card key did not work. Hotels.com says pet-free but the reception lady said she does not care what Hotels.com says. They declined to change room to pet-free one as they were fully booked but there were only 5-6 cars on the parking lot out of ~50 spaces. Unless all the people traveled without cars, it was not true that they were fully bookes. I will not use them again.

The biggest disappointment was on the website they said they had a hot tub. The hot tub had no water in it and the swimming pool was a disaster. After an amazing day in Bainbridge a hot tub would have been amazing. Rooms were fine though a bit humid no matter the thermostat.

This hotel is very run down. The floor in the bathroom is rotted next to the tub and the toilet so that it is sunken in and feels structurally unsound/ the toilet is not level. There is a large dirty crack in the wall of the shower, the electrical is not updated in capacity to accomodate a 2024 blow dryer, the bedding / towels were clean. The room is very small, the bathroom door barely clears the toilet when you open it. The outside walkways also feel unstructurally sound. There is a large gap in the main door to the room where daylight comes through (it does not seal).

I felt like I was staying at a hotel similar to Schitt's Creek and felt catfished based on the photos on the Hotels.com booking site. There was a weird musty smell, the door would barely open due to the swelling of the door (and the carpet), the bed was hard as a rock, little to no toiletries were offered, and there was hair in the bathtub. Also, checkout was listed as 11:00 a.m. on the door and it was actually 10:00 a.m. That explains why the housekeepers kept coming to my door every 10-15 min starting at 9:45 a.m. Needless to say, this was not a $250 per night room and I would have asked for a discount or a refund if I weren't in a hurry to leave. I almost forgot to mention that walking on the second story felt like I was going to fall through the walkway and the stairs were not safe either. I understand paying for location but this place was not even worth $100 a night. I have had better experiences at Motel 6.

The front desk attendants were rude and unresponsive. The facility is unkempt with visible scum on the pool and hot tub, closed but visible as you walk to your room. Visible black mold on bathroom fixtures. No maid service. Traffic noise nearby. I accidentally turned on the heat emitting a nauseous odor was impossible to eliminate. Disappointing that such a lovely island has such a poorly run Quality Inn. I've stayed in other Quality Inns across the country that were lovely. For the price one would expect a whole lot more.

The rooms were reasonably clean and well kept. We requested adjoining rooms when we made this reservation because we have young children - and the staff seemed totally unwilling to accommodate that request and unapologetic about the inconvenience to our family. Other than that issue, it was a good stay. We did appreciate the walkability to the harbor area shops and the staff did allow us to store our suitcases for several hours after we checked out to allow us some more time on the island.

I stayed in the handicap room and it was absolutely wonderful. The feeling when you walked in was of complete cleanliness and tons of room. There were charger plug'ins in three different places. The bathroom and shower were excellent. I wish I were going to Bainbridge island again just to stay there. Breakfast was also very good. I did have two minor complaints. . . I never could get the television to work but then again, I didn{t call the office to let them know that. Also, the people upstairs must have been practicing tap dancing. However, the room was the best.

The cost vs quality was great. You get what you pay for. Pay a medium price for a medium quality room. The exterior of the property could use an upgrade, maybe make all the "no smoking" signs on the doors match. But the interiors of the rooms were nice, and they were clean. The bed was comfortable. The guy that checked us in was very friendly. Oh, one other downside, the door had to be pushed pretty hard to latch.

The room was clean. Nothing fancy or updated. The bed was comfortable. The outside of the building was scattered with wood rot and very dirty. The pool was full of algae. and the grounds were broken down and dirty. The staff didn't really care about anything. I tried to get a different room because of the noisy room next store and they told me the hotel was full. There were very few cars or people there. I suspect the other rooms were not made up. I was very surprised of the condition especially since it is located on Bainbridge Island, WA which is a upper level community. The hotel should be closed until the it has been cleaned, wood rot replaced and the pool area cleaned up even if it isn't going to be used. I wish I had taken pictures.

Pleasantly surprised by the large size and excellent cleanliness of the room, and quiet surroundings. My room overlooked a greenspace. No weird smell, (except in the lobby). In room coffee was good, and breakfast offered some GF/veg options for me - yogurt, juice, fruit. A better-than expected experience overall (my expectations were moderated by it being a last-minute reservation during a holiday weekend). This hotel was as-described or better-than described overall.

I can’t review this hotel because on arrival I found that the room I had reserved at this “pet friendly” property wasn’t actually a room that was available for a pet. We were three adults and one 14 pound dog. People, be careful when booking. This was an expensive lesson for me. I made the reservation on line, while traveling, about an hour before we arrived. Luckily we found a room at a nicer hotel across the street, but I wound up paying for 2 rooms. No more booking on line while riding in a car for me.

Externally the hotel is falling into disrepair. Internally the rooms were ok but definitely starting to get tired. Be aware that the advertised room with 2 Queen beds are actually 2 doubles. Service was good for what little interaction I had with the staff. I will probably choose a different hotel the next time I’m in town.
