This is a very quaint hotel. Out of the ordinary and not your average stay. It was so lovely. rooms were huge and beds were comfortable. You feel like you're staying in a victorian inn.

The property was so beautiful with wildlife everywhere so many different species of birds and the deer coming out every morning and evenings on the golf course was a wonderful to see the grounds was quite beautiful love the landscaping, the interior of the hotel inn was very beautiful, will be coming back again, loved the owner she's so sweet and very professional. There could of been a small refrigerator in the room or one on request.

Breakfast was simple but tasty. The offerings are all premade food, but they were absolutely fine for this trip. The inn had a number of additional snack options good for packing on the nearby hiking trails.

The historic place was awesome. Great having extra towels in the hall and easy access to snacks when we arrived. Grateful to find the hair dryer. The beds were very hard so we didn't sleep well. The TV didn't work at all so couldn't enjoy that. Needed a full length mirror for getting ready.

We loved the decor. It is a very neat structure. Also loved the free anytime snack bar. Great homemade granola to take on hikes! Loved the grounds! Very neat. The room paperwork said that you could buy wood at corner store for the fire pit. We did, but the fire pit turned out to be gas! No worries, they reimbursed us for the wood.

We really didn't see staff, everything was arranged electronically. The breakfast was continental, but easy to navigate. Lots of snack type items to grab and go. The breakfast could have been a bit better, but it was off-season and very few guest.

The overall experience was phenomenal. I highly recommend the inn for anyone looking to stay close to Albemarle without being in the city. Absolutely nothing I didn’t like. Staff were super accommodating and fantastic to work with. Be mindful when you stay this is not a brand new location. As stated it was built 1913 and it still has so much character. As with all things some things could use some attention, some outlets didn’t function and you could tell the carpet was not new HOWEVER this takes absolutely nothing away from our stay, those are cosmetic and have zero impact on the quality of the stay.

The hotel was exactly what I expected. It has a few wrinkles due to its age, but it was so clean and everyone was friendly and the room/bed were extremely comfortable. They had snacks available at all times which is rare these days. The shower was small. It didn't bother me, but anyone on the large side should check and make sure they get a room with a decent sized shower.

It was beautiful, it was clean, I got there at 11:00pm at night no one was there, scared me as the place was as if I was along in this large facility. But I wish I could have stayed longer Just arriving late at night no cars, no people to welcome you I think I was the only person staying here and I put a chair to my door cause it was scary

Very pleasant setting. Very quiet room. Very generous amount and variety of treats and soft drinks available. Lack of a full service restaurant on site

Great location and amazing facility. The nature surrounding the inn is phenomenal and the people running the inn as well as in the surrounding towns of Badin and Albemarle are some of the nicest folk you will ever find. It's also an extremely enjoyable and leisurely drive to Charlotte.

May have been a little outdated but it is from 1913 so got to take that in consideration in staying there that you won't have the most update features but it's still a beautiful place to stay

The Inn was well decorated for the holidays, clean, comfortable and charming and always. The mini kitchen was well stocked, but missing hot chocolate and tea variety.

Very quite, beautiful area for hiking and scenic views. It is more of a couples resort, I wouldn't bring my kids. I love that there was always coffee and light snacks in the lobby. I will come back for sure.

Breakfast was okay. Not sure how fresh some items really were. Liked options for drinks and snacks. Inn had a cool vintage vibe. Creepy being the only people there. Almost no interaction with staff. Barely greeted the following day.
