You get what you pay for. It’s a decent place to crash for the night or two. No frills, it’s a little run down and it attracts strange guest at times too. Breakfast is just a some fruit, coffee and cheap plastic wrapped cinnamon rolls. Nothing to brag about. Rooms def need updating and we saw a roach in the restroom. You do see cleaning staff cleaning outside daily.

I highly recommend the hotel. The staff are great. Particularly the manager and they made my stay pleasant. I will surely be back.

we had to leave because the room was infested with roaches.. From the ceiling to the bathroom to the coffee tables,.. gross.. Thank you expedia for refunding our stay, My advice is to take them off your hotel list . I think they should be audited for all the bugs they have. Worst thing i ever saw in my life

ROACHES IN THE ROOM

Towel bar in the bathroom was broken off and missing. Hair dryer did not work. Temperature control knob inside the fridge was missing. This was a problem because I brought my own food and I couldn't tell if the fridge was turned up or down. It seemed like the fridge was not cold enough. Breakfast was not well stocked. There were no muffins at 8:30am. Just as I was trying to hurry to load up my car and get checked out, the key card stopped working and I couldn't get back into the room. I was extremely careful not to keep it anywhere near my phone, as I know that sometimes that causes the key card not to work. So It was really weird that it stopped working 15min before check out. This Super 8 Motel is right next to the 210 freeway, so it was not quiet at night but of course I knew that before I booked the room.

The room itself was clean, the air conditioner didn't work at all no matter how hard I tried. This property had good reviews and was close to where I needed to be, being a Wyndham hotel it seemed like a good choice. It was super sketchy, didn't want to stay but had no other options. Door was not very secure and you could see under the door, light was clearly coming through. You could hear everything happening outside of the room. I didn't feel safe at all.

The bed n pillows were very comfy. Very clean inside room and outside. There was no pool and breakfast was continental, no waffles just muffins.

Loved the staff, the hospitality and proximity to lots of things.

The hotel manager was a fast and attentive when checking in super late in the night as my flight was delayed. The room is a bit outdated with a lot of roaches big and small. I killed 3 upon walking in near the bathroom and sink area. Might have a roach infestation issue. I kept the bathroom lights on while sleeping to avoid more coming out in the dark.

Soap and shampoo bottles in the shower were empty. The lady next door was a tweeker up all night waking us up. Knocked on the door yelling us we have to leave. The phone was broken so we had to call the office and they said they would take care of it but it didn't work. There was tagging on all the paintings and bathroom walls, and shower bar. No weather stripping on the doors so when the sun came up the room lit up like a christmas tree.

Asked for a non smoking room but the room smelled awful of cigarette smoke

It was fine but not great. Breakfast was disappointing. Staff could be a lot friendlier. Nothing totally broken but some things need attention. Blankets and pillows could be a lot better

The room and the bed were comfortable. The TV had lots of choices. My only negative note is that the water pressure in the shower was pitiful.

My room at Super 8 was not luxurious but it was clean and more than adequate for my needs. I appreciate that the room contained a refrigerator and a microwave but the Internet was spotty. It frequently disconnected and, even when it was connected, it took five t ten minutes to provide a route on Google Maps. If you rely on the Internet when traveling as I do, then pass this motel by.

Upon arriving at the Super 8 in Azusa, the info from credit card I was only using for this trip was stolen and fraudulent charges occurred. Two jackets were stolen from our vehicle on the third night. Toiletries and the items in the refrigerator were stolen during our stay. Housekeeping had up to five doors wide open to the street with no staff in sight during room cleaning. Breakfast at 8am consisted of a few apples. There were several cockroaches in the room The door security latch was missing and there was a one inch gap under the door. Walls are paper thin and sirens were regular during the night. At least the air conditioning worked. My advice, spend the extra $10 a night and stay somewhere safer.

Prior to booking my stay, I called the property to ensure that the advertised hot tub was opened and functioning for use, they verified that was correct. When I got to the hotel, I was told the hot tub was closed for the season due to maintenance. The room I booked was supposed to be non-smoking as we were traveling with our 11month old and senior disabled father in law. They had no rooms downstairs therefore we were struggling with the stairs. The advertised continental breakfast consisted of Costco muffins, coffee and overripe apples. The room was not properly cleaned and there were old feces stains on the wall near the trashcan area. Do not recommend this hotel.

It was not good room to stay since the cockroach was crawling in the bathroom.

The motel seemed a bit dodgy. None of the rooms had net curtains, and people were always walking past which was off putting. The people in the motel seemed like they were on drugs. There was one incident when the police were called. The breakfast is not good, as it is just coffee, tea and one pastry. The shower water gets really hot or freezing cold . The room is well equipped as it has a fridge and microwave. The TV does not work during the day, only in the evening it started working which was annoying. There is a good bus service that goes a long the road, which takes you to the nearest shopping centre. The metro is a twenty minute walk, if you don't want to get a taxi.

Very upsetting to have individual cleaning grounds attempt to come into room. Security of guest rooms is suspect because if I had not been thete my stuff would have been gone.

Easy to exit. Too close highway and too noisy.

Seems we stayed in the middle of them undergoing reservations, so things were a bit messy. The keycards only barely worked, the bathroom door wouldn't close properly, and the chair by the table was wobbly to the point I was worried it'd collapse. The location is decent; I wouldn't call it walkable, but it's 1 mile to the A line that gets you downtown, which was important as we were going to Anime Expo.

First off, they gave us a smoking room smelt like smoke, loud neighbors throughout the night, bugs in the room, the beds were very uncomfortable and couldn’t get a good night rest because of it on top of the noise because the walls were so thin.

Check in clerk was awesome and very friendly. Check in was smooth. Very convenient that there are gas stations and fast food in walking distance. The room was a little beat up, graffiti on the pictures, safety lock was missing on the door. The room was very clean besides the minor imperfections.

Con's Pillows like rocks, very low water volume shower, no light at the computer table so had to turn the main light on at 5 am to use the computer which woke up my wife, Breakfast was mediocre at best. main street noise until around 11 pm

Upon checking, Pulled the covers back on the bed and 3 roaches starting running around. Told the front desk and refused to refund me my money.

In the office, the people greet you with so much respect and very nice to their customers but the conditions to the hotel were horrible. The door didn’t seem to fit and have massive open gaps that bugs can craw underneath or on the sides of the door. The secondary lock didn’t seem to work and and was easily able to open it so the main lock was our only sense of security. The room was damaged from all the walls, paint was peeling off, stab marks on the wall and there were bugs inside the room.

My room had been tagged with marker on the headboard on the lampshade and on the nightstand. There was a homeless person sleeping in the stairwell one night. My towels would always have hairballs on them. I’m bald, it wasn’t mine. The microwave in the room had been chalked and duck-taped to hold it together. There was a large crack and hole in the ceiling. I was out all day on business in Azusa but when I got back my a/c unit was always turned off so it was about 85 degrees out in the room. I will not stay here again.

The room was summer clean and decent for floor is very dirty and you'll see it on your socks the bathroom was disgusting there is black mold all around the bathtub around the toilet they do nothing to get rid of the black mold be very careful you'll get very sick black moles and all the bathrooms have stayed there many times and every time I have to bring tilex with bleach try to get rid of the black mold in the bathtub it's sick and then I'm having just for the money that they charge it's not worth to stay if you do stay getting ready to get sick I would not recommend this hotel

Property is filthy and rundown and very noisy. Night clerk checked a second person into my room WHO OPENED MY DOIR. Clerk then argued with me that it couldn’t happen! Phone line in room was dead. This place is a nightmare waiting to happen!

The night we checked in we had to be buzzed in…when we got in the office we could barely breathe because there was an overwhelming scent of cat urine. I was very thrilled that when we got to our room it did not have a bad odor. The following morning I went back to the office for towels and the scent was completely gone.

The motel rooms were clean the hotel staff was courteous it's just the area the motel is in is a little iffy but the overall stay was fine especially for the price microwave coffee maker

Killed 2 cockroaches in the bathroom when I first got there and killed 1 roach the next morning. There were hand prints on my car window like someone was looking inside in the parking lot. There was no breakfast like the site indicates but some workers were really nice.

Horrible manager right when we were checking in and disgusting room! Doesn’t smell good already and when we got back at night there were roaches everywhere! We talked to the manager and the manager blamed US for bringing the roaches there. We canceled the whole trip we had and started to just go back home. Insane. We left early from what was booked. I want my WHOLE refund.

The online description and photos offered a sauna/hot tub and free breakfast. The sauna was not operating and there was no breakfast. (The desk clerk said state regulations prevented sauna use and provision of breakfast - we stayed at a nearby motel two weeks ago with functioning sauna and great free breakfast - so it was a straight lie to my face.) Too many cockroaches and small biting insects at night. Can't believe this facility carries the Wyndham name - now we can't even trust the Wyndham brand anymore. Good shower and hot water. Easy check-in and checkout.

I was surprised, I worked in Azusa before moving and I passed the hotel every day I know the area so I was a little scared but it was clean and quiet beds were hard the next morning I was sore

They must have painted the door in a hurry to the bathroom because paint was dripping on the floor and you had to man handle the bathroom door to close it. Maybe I expected a little too much from the Super 8. Once we were leaving someone thought they'd leave their condom on the outdoor air space. Never again ...

This place is just horrible. There was bloodstains on the bed. An unidentifiable grit on the sheets, COCKROACHES in the whole room, people doing drugs in the room next door. The neighborhood is sketchy. We went and checked in and he tried to tell us we didnt have a room even tho i had called ...then after we saw thr condition of the room and went to check out he said too bad you pay anyways.the door had been kicked in too. This whole place should be burned to the ground. Do NOT stay here!.

1st off I booked here because it said spa and breakfast. When we checked in we were told we couldn't use the spa and there was no breakfast not even grab and go. The rooms floor was filthy as we I took of my shoes walked from bed to bath, my feet were back. White patches on walls were they didn't repaint. There was no shower pressure hard for washing your hair. They had a 5150 lady upstairs that would scream at you, and parking was tight,small area. Blood on ice bucket and didnt have replaement,so I had to use a bag. Couldn't even get an envelope to mail something. Best thing I say is it was close to the Renaissance faire. Never stay again.

Somewhat annoying to get to because of the location, the motel itself was fairly filthy outside with a number of very loud people hanging out in front of some of the rooms. The desk clerk who checked us in was friendly and that whole process was easy and painless. The room itself was sparse and decently clean (I wish I had a blacklight to check though!). Maintenance wise this place is a wreck. From our bathroom door being a mess to the front door being flimsy and shaking like it would fall off its hinges anytime someone walked past to the so-thin-we-could-hear-our-neighbors-kids-all-night walls. We just wanted a place to crash for the night and made a mistake in picking this one. Won't be back.

As nice as the front desk worker was, the hotel room was dirty, bath towels were dark, the 3 pillows for the bed were as small as decorative ones and as flat as the floor, the AC was broken, the non-smoking room smelled like smoke, some hotel guests were having loud parties in their room, and, worst of all, there was blood in the comforter. The low price point is not a deal.

The front desk employee was friendly and check in was easy. The bed was comfortable, and the parking was convenient. The Wi-Fi was spotty at best - but caused a lot of grief since it didn't work well (but it said it was free - so I guess it wasn't guaranteed), and when this was brought up, they did apologize, but nothing they could do. The room did not smell great, and the fridge was not working and smelled awful when it was opened. There was no breakfast (as advertised), so this should be changed on their listing. They said it was due to COVID. The TV remote did not work very well. The heater did work well in the room and the room service was nice. The bedding was pretty worn, and did seem clean. I would consider staying here again, but only if I needed a bed to sleep in with no amenities, but then not sure the cost would be worth it. It is along a main road, so if you are a light sleeper, you may hear traffic or other guests coming and going. We could hear those who were in the next room pretty well when they were talking. Two of the main reasons I booked this was for the free breakfast and the wi-fi, so did not feel that they met this obligation.

Do not stay here! Door was beat up looking like someone had tried to break in, bathroom was gross, sheets had stains on them, hot tub had used bandaids floating in it and the hotel was in a pretty rough area of town.

It was advertised as free breakfast and there was nothing. It was advertised as a hot tub and it wasn’t open/working.

It was way to pricey for the small room and the bedding had cigarette burn in them the sheets were stained , it had roaches and was in a very unsafe location. The price of the room was way to high for the unexceptional room if I could get a refund for the room I would gladly appreciate it
