We reserve for the weekend , we checked in and paid in cash. Once in our room we saw there was a hole in the bedroom. We let the guy in the front desk know and showed him and said it’s okay it’s okay no worry. The following morning when we tried to shower there wasn’t any hot water. I went to the front desk and let them know. They told me that I had to run the water from the sink and the shower at the same time. We tried that and still there wasn’t any hot water. My family had to shower with cold water. We went to go get breakfast and when we came back a guy was at our door asking us to pay the deposit when we had paid already the night before. We asked for a refund and after 30 mins they agreed and gave us a refund for the one night. They didn’t want to make any accommodation for the hole in the wall and when we mentioned the water they said we should have let them know if though we told them twice. The people at the front desk were very rude I wouldn’t stay here. There was also horrible smell of mold. The walls had water damage.

it was easy to find, and it was inexpensive. and it was fairly clean. no ice, no hot water, no place to sit down other than a hard desk chair, or the bed. the place was noisy. people outside the room very late at night talking and not caring who might be sleeping. very thin walls and could see light under the door.

I loved they were able to fit a reservation for me last minute. And I was able to check in later that night. I didn’t like the room wasn’t that nice. Small little tv. Smoking holes on the comforter. Light fixture near the restroom didn’t work. I stayed because I was tired but it wasn’t the best experience. Glad for a room to stay in though.

When I arrived and checked into my room to disvover that the tv was smashed in. No real bedding. Just a sheet and some old flat pillows. Wasnt expecting much when I booked but a little courtesy for the guest goes a long way.

The room was semi outdated. The tv did not work, the phone did not work, so you physically had to walk to office for assistance. It took over an hour for maintenance to come and see fix it, and there very next day it stopped working again. the hot water stopped working and was unable to shower.

It did smell like bleach when i entered the room, which gave the appearance of cleanliness. However, the shower smelled of mold and had public hair in it. The shower curtain was moldy.

again… This is not a fancy place, and there are little to no amenities, but it’s clean and safe and the property owners are pretty strict, which I appreciate given what I have dealt with in this area recently as an Alabama transfer.

Then, when accidently locking my service dog in room w/key an old woman tried to charge me for a lost key to get in the room for oringinal, declined! Water heat/pressure sucked, blamed on weather?! Silver fish in tub plus stray unidentified bugs. Plus side, quiet, usually, and mini fridge/microwave a plus and quite roomy inside for extended stay, kids or service animal. Bring extra towels though and warm things because the floor is freezing!

My daughter had an issue checking in due to booking error not related to Stardust. The receptionist was kind enough to call expedia and resolved the issue quickly. He also was very patient with me and explained what was happening.

Called to confirm that I would be able to check in with a midnight arrival. Nobody in the office upon arrival, despite it supposedly being 24 hours. Facility looks moderately seedy, not truck friendly.

They initially gave us a room that had not been cleaned, they could not accommodate my partially paralyzed brother by giving us a downstairs room and there was a wasp problem on the balcony. I could continue to complain, but it just better to STAY AWAY

The good points of this hotel is it's location (next to APU) and it was clean. The AC/Heater unit worked well too. If that's all you're looking for, you got it. However, if you are accustomed to more upscale properties, this one will be an adjustment. There was no dresser in our room, or any place to hang up anything. You could borrow an iron, however, not a functioning ironing board, there were no blankets, and no hair dryer either. Management speaks to you from being bullet proof glass. They were accommodating and I believe did the best they can. Seems like the property is in the state of being repaired which is understandable. Just go in with your eyes open, and it may work for you.

Everyone says its in a bad part of town, but I didnt see anything like that. Right across the street from Azusa Pacific University, great spot, lots of places to walk too. Will gladly stay here again!

Staff stereotyped me and aggressively accused me of smoking on premise without any proof. Mind you, I was competing in a sporting event at APU with teammates and can think of 99 other- more satisfying- ways to break their rules had I wanted to. I booked this for my daughter on last minute. She is so picky but she really enjoyed the stay. She told me how clean it was and for the money was a great deal for being in California. She would stay there again. I paid a really decent price for the 3 nights she was there, so I am happy too.

Not particularly friendly, but we did arrive to check in late. The room we got was spacious with nice clean vinyl flooring. It had a good table for sharing a meal and had a mini fridge and a microwave was was really a big plus. The tub/shower had nice marble walls which was a nice detail. I liked their soap bars too.

Booked a smoking room. Was told i couldn't have one and room was non refundable even though it wasn't what i booked. Staff was incredibly rude. Room had a broken mirror, dirty toilet seat and tagging all over the walls. Blood stains on the comforter. No amenities. Will not stay there again.

Found rat droppings in my bed. I was not happy with the service about my room condition. when I asked to move to a clean room management was very rude. If it wasn't late in the evening I would have canceled and left...

The room was bare-bones Hobo hotel, but it was clean. However, not clean enough to bother including any complimentary bars of soap to support my stay. You need to bring your own. Another really irritating feature of the room was reading lights....there were none; only recessed ceiling lights. Awkward, but at least I didn't have to stumble around in the dark. Oooops, almost forgot. They handed you a TV remote along with your room key (that's a new one). Evidently they must be having problems with the theft of their broken-down remotes.

I can’t recall in recent history as to when was the last time I was completely unsatisfied with a room I checked into. It was filthy. Toilet had splash back stains in the seat. The covers to the beds smelled like smoke. When I pulled the blankets back the sheets were full of long hairs. They charged me extra for having a visitor. After telling me on the phone before that 3 people per room would be the same price as two. I tried checking out, but they wouldn’t refund me one penny back. Non refundable charge they said. Horrible experience

TV was not working properly, would lose signal, very annoying, microwave had no place to plug in, had to physically move it to bedroom floor to use it. There was a phone in room with no cord attached to wall, useless. Overpriced for neighborhood. Staff was friendly, helpful but Hotel was too rundown.

Ice machine not available, no jacuzzi or pool, no continental breakfast available, room heater worked but really loud. Thank you for the clean sheets and towels.

Actually, the place was okay. But the check-in and check-out guy was rude, and threatening. While I was checking in, he told me, "if you try to sneak anybody into your room, in the middle of the night, I will throw you out into the middle of the street."

Good clean place. The thing i did not like was the $50 cash deposit required but would not give me a receipt or any documentation stating i gave them a deposit.

Stay here every year. This year the bed was very lumpy. But the place is generally clean.

My room # was 136, No Smoking Room, on the First Floor which I requested and it was a nice clean room. 1. the water drainage was not working in the bathtub, I needed to take a nice bath after a long drive from San Diego, CA, 2. $93.50 in total/night was too expensive. 3. B/F should be included with this kind of Rate. 4. I'm not sure to stay in this Motel again. 5.There are many Hotels/Motels in this area.

Clean, safe, convenient and ample free parking inside the premises. Rooms face the inner courtyard where you also park your car. Well isolated from the street. It is in the seedier part of town but just a twenty minute walk from the posh part of town, so it's perfect way to get quality affordable accommodations if you don't mind short walks through a dodgy neighborhood to hit the nice barcrawl.

Managers are super rude and they talk to you with alot of adittude i would not stay here at the stardust ever again

I booked this place and realized it was a little too far from our destination so I wanted to cancel. I understand places have cancellations fees. This place has a no refund. I have no issue with that. Except I called right after booking in hopes to cancel, and I was met by a really rude lady. She could have politely said , I’m sorry but our policy is strictly no refunds no cancellation or something that didn’t include “it’s not my problem you booked far from your destination “. Then when we got there to check in, another person card wasn’t working, and she met her with the same rudeness “ there’s nothing I can do. I’m not going outside to help you “ and she walked away ! She decided to come back when the woman didn’t leave the window. Super rude lady. It really ruined my stay.
