Motel 6 Azle, TX

As soon as I got there from a long drive, I walked in handed my drivers license and the gentleman said “ we were expecting you, here is your key now get some rest and we are here for you “. I totally forgot where I was because it was so quiet. I’m fixing to book my 3 day trip for the Fourth of July 💪

Well. i stayed there for over 2 months. The chair provided for the small desk was a cheap metal thing. The metal legs scratched the floor (i am a double amputee). They charged me $300 for floor damage due to their crap chair. I am glad to be out of there.

Check in was simple and straightforward. Rooms were cleanish but not maintained well. Other guess were obviously getting drunk and being disruptive well into the night.

It was very clean. Exceptional and tidy. The key didn't work. The lock didn't lock. The front desk guy didn't seem to care that there were drunk guys hitting on me and my child. He kept calling over and over again and was mad because we checked in kinda late.

Night shift attendant was disrespectful and lying about my dog barking all day. Each time I had stopped by to check on my dog I couldn’t hear him from the parking lot all the way to the door to us opening it. He’s a German shepherd with a loud bark too. We believe someone had attempted to get into our room to get a reaction like that. Would not recommend anyone with pets.

Location We reserved 4 rooms, 1 room: blood was found on the sheets so we were moved to another, again blood stains on comforter & sheets. The guests for this room left and went somewhere else. Room 2: heater did not work Room 3: black mold on the ceiling In the restroom. Room 4: was ok Location and staff were excellent, the rooms need some work.

Passerbys would see children in the pool unsupervised, called the police, police would get onto management to throw the youth/trespassers out, and they (youth) would be back another day. Seems like there was SOMETHING that could have solved the problem. A surveillance camera in the pool area at all times, for example.

What type of hotel doesn't provide coffee for their guests? And why would you show a picture of a pool in your photos when there isn't a pool?

The location was good. The pool was filled with cement. No outside sitting area. There wasn't a chair in the room other than a wooden desk chair. It was a place that most of the homeless would stay for a few nights.

Some of the lights and plugs didn't work in room 202. The sink filled with water and would not drain.

They should pay people to risk staying here. Place is horrible the door was broken barley shut or locked, toilet was broken, remote to tv broken. They didnt even give me the right room and then had the audacity to say they wouldnt up charge me for their mistake. For $107 this place is way over priced. I cant recommend not staying here enough

Room looked remodeled floors where beautiful The check out front desk clerk was very nice and able to explain things better When pulling into the parking lot EVERY parking spot was red lined saying fire lane no parking When asked they directed you where to park Upon check in I was told my RESERVED room was no longer available they could put me in another room for an upcharge..... I RESERVED a king handicap room which would be on the first floor and ended up getting a 2 queen bed on the second floor (no elevator only steps) When I went to get a shower it would not turn on so I TRIED to use the phone in the room to let front desk know (phone did not work) I went to the front desk and there was a sign be back in 15 minutes located the employee on the second floor standing outside of a room smoking a cig.... He was able to turn the shower on with force. The toilet seat was barely on the seat when you sat you slid Woken up at 730 am to the whole buildings fire alarm going off Went to get Juice/coffee door was locked had to ask clerk to open prior to opening the door to access he sprayed the room with Lysol ??? Weird finally was able to get into the "breakfast area" and no juices available and only a small half of a cup of coffee Went to ice machine for ice and it was not working And advertised as having a swimming pool -guess what no pool

The Safety latch on the door was broken...the toilet paper kept wanting to fall out of the wall... And finally, the water valve in the shower couldnt tighten down ver well and so it dripped quite a vit all night long...

There were hairs on the sheets when I turned back the covers. So, I sat up and slept. Room in general pretty bad condition. The price was more expensive than I have paid for better rooms! Not good experience!!

There was no water pressure or hot water for that matter, the shower also had multiple layers of paint over black mold. I left the motel and drove 20 minutes up the road to a much better hotel and did not return. On the way out I saw people doing what looked like drugs in the parking lot. 10/10 will not stay here again.

It may be the norm these days but, I missed having an iron, ironing board, coffee service and shampoo...but, I managed to survive. I'll stay there again the next time in Azle.

Other than we weren’t disturbed at all and there are several fast food joints around the area also Walmart and Albertsons are located just across the street.Very pricy for rooms that are not at their best and have roches. Only reason I stayed was because it was the closest hotel to my sister and we would only be there to sleep. Next time I will make the extra 30 min drive to stay at a nicer place.

Looks brand new. Everything was in working order. Motel 6 generally provides more cheaply made, less comfortable beds than other budget hotels, and this one was no exception. But it served our purposes for one night.

The check-in was terrible people very unfriendly my room was not very clean there was lots of noise and the police showed up at one point and they have yet to return my $50 deposit and believe me they have no reason to keep it!

Although the room was nice, I was very disappointed that I had to pay an unexpected 50.00 additional deposit. I have never had to pay a deposit at a motel 6. Although it will be returned, it will take 3-5 business days for it to be returned to my debit card. Very disappointed and frustrated about this. It should have been noted up front. I would not have stayed here.

The first room I had a bathroom sink that would not drain. They moved me next door to a poorly cleaned room with a fake fingernail in the nightstand drawer, goop on the floor and animal paw prints on the floor. I was afraid to walk on the floor. It was loud, the next door door squeaked loudly and the tenants of that room were opening and closing it all night.

Room was just ok, zero amenities (shampoo/dryer/etc), paper stuffed in fixture holes above sink. Only place to stay, sufficient at best. Oh, the group of people hanging out smoking (now we know what chair was for), uninviting. Will avoid staying here again if we can help it.

Overnight trip to the area. Worked out fine, no issues, no problems. Place was clean and convenient. The only complaint would be that the mattress needs to be replaced - it "bottomed out" when you sat or laid down on it.

Had everything needed for a stay. Clean linen, hot and cold water, toilet, good a/c. Fairly clean. Decided to park off site for the first time in my life. No coffee in the morning. Easy checkout.

Came into room and got dirty towels and did not leave any clean ones. When checking out had to wake clerk up and she came to desk in pajamas. Had to ask for a receipt.

Came into room and got dirty towels and did not leave any clean ones. When checking out had to wake clerk up and she came to desk in pajamas. Had to ask for a receipt.

I've been stay at this hotel several times before this visit. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING. I paid for my room in advance and I was told there was a separate up charge. That has not happened before. The bed was uncomfortable like sleeping on a concrete slab. I will go out of my way to stay elsewhere.

I didn’t feel safe at this property. I only stayed 3 hours and then had to leave. The room was not clean, there was people yelling and fighting in the parking lot. I parked my car close to my door and was worried that it would get hit with all the yelling and screaming outside my door.

Dev the front desk called the manager to discuss the issue and when went back to see what they could do Dev and the Manager CANCELLED our reservation AND HAD US RETURN OUR CARDS WITHOUT OUR CONSENT!!!! We did not ask for that when we asked WHY Dev said the manager said be because the lady said "no wonder they get bad reviews " she WAS NOT directing it to the front AT ALL it was a conversation overheard among the guest. They were here on a family death and emotions were VERY high ABSOLUTELY NO NEED FOR THEM TO HAVE DONE THAT!!!!!! when we spoke with Dev he was VERY ARGUMENTATIVE with me and not at all considering our situation. That is enough we will not consider to stay there AT ALL. we went to Candlewood Suites EXCELLENT choice!

The room seemed very old. The sheets were worn some with holes in them. The people in the other rooms were very loud and drunk. Other than that it was a decent stay for a decent price

First off cleanliness. The room was disgusting. There was hair on both beds, like the sheets were not washed. There was hair inside the pillow cases. The floor was sticky from something. Next the TV did not work. The pillows were old and flat. The bed was old and falling apart. Typical Motel 6. Crackhead run it. Crackheads clean it. The managers should be embarrassed.

They didnt have hair dryers as listed. The tv barely worked. It kept cutting out and was fuzzy. The refrigerator was freezing over. The microwave wouldnt open. The bathtub was just awful. The blankets were dirty. And that isnt the worst of it. The worst was the rather large family of cockroaches living under the beds. I didnt even make it thru the night. I left after midnight bc it was just that bad.

I haven't been anywhere since February and I spend one night away and i get bed bugs. I'm still dealing with them. I have sprayed my car and bedroom three times. Still getting new bites. i am devastated!

The parking lot was not cleaned nor was the grass but the room was clean and comfortable. Utilitarian as would be expected but for just sleeping in, it was perfect. I spent the days out with my family and came back to relax and sleep. It was noisy until about 9 pm then all was quiet.

Front desk gentlemen was very polite and helpful with WiFi and checkout questions. Only negative was fridge did not work and my food spoiled.

Every time we come to Azle we will be staying at this motel y'all are the cleanest around and the beds are comfortable

There were hoodlums hanging all outside. To many people "living there"...to much noise. Then they say pets are welcome but then go nehind the scenes and steal money off your card without you knowing and calling it a pet deposit. I would go elsewhere before ever staying here again.

The bed was like sleeping on the floor it was so hard, and the room looked like it was still in the finishing of being remodeled with fixtures missing. This was a last minute need and I forgot my toothbrush and paste, and they charged me for something that should have been complimentary... Also they had a young girl that was working and it seemed like she enjoyed yelling me no... In the morning, I went downstairs and could not get coffee, nor was there a small coffee in the room... Never stay at a motel 6 again....

After midnight someone beat on our door screaming open up its the cops. It wasn’t so I called 911. The cops arrested someone after 1.5 hours of yelling outside. I’m awake at 1:30am and was told no refund no reduced rate. They claim it’s not their fault how people act. Well it’s your responsibility to supply what I paid for and it wasn’t this mess. I will never stay in another Motel 6. They over charge due to being the only motel choice in this town. Trust me drive to the next town this place is run by people who get your money and no longer care about you as a customer. Terrible first day of vacation and I will be exhausted tomorrow.

I requested a handicap access room. I didn't get one. We did get a room on the main floor but when we checked in at after 7:00, the room had an unmade bed and unemptied trash. There was one table which was partly broken. There were no tissues; no art on the walls; beds were very uncomfortable. It was not a pleasant experience.

I liked it because it was in Dallas fort Worth area other than that I didn't like it The beds were old that was roaches in the bathroom
