Incredibly friendly staff, breakfast at Nido was the best I’ve had in a long time! Would definitely come back.
- 5/5
The room was noisy from outside traffic but they did provide ear plugs however if you’re not used to using them they can be uncomfortable to wear. Hotel was excellent and staff was so nice! Will ask for another room facing away from the traffic next time
- 5/5
Gym was great. Restaurant had fantastic views.

The AC didn’t work. Set thermostat for 69 to sleep. Woke up and the room was 73. Too hot for me to sleep comfortably. I think there might be a motion detector element because the room was warm when we returned after being out for the day. I won’t be going back

Hotel shows some wear in rooms. Staff routinely provide less than complete answers to simple questions. Valet pretty quick must times.
- 5/5
Beautiful rooms, staff awesome. Pets allowed, spa onsite and coffee shop on site, fitness room, lake across the street. Love this place
- 2/5
Booked a studio suite and ended up on the 3rd floor next to the main road. Crazy noisy at night and in the morning coz the coffee shop is right there. Staff didn’t even bother to ask how the stay was, else this could have been a feedback at the front desk. The restaurant, Nido, was great as always, but never coming back to the hotel. Also, staff at the coffee shop was rude!
- 5/5
Beautiful from check-in to check out
- 5/5
Excellent property. West facing rooms are quite noisy late into the night, as to be expected in an urban area. Professional, attentive staff.
- 5/5
Great room, great location, lovely staff
- 5/5
Super nice hotel and area
- 5/5
Had a wonderful stay at The Loren. Our room and bathroom were large, clean and well appointed. The staff was so friendly and I love the pool! Room service was quick and delicious. My only concern was that the electric shade in our room stopped working.
- 5/5
Great hotel right in the thick of things.
- 5/5
The room and staff were wonderful
- 5/5
Location is fantastic, a less busy area of downtown and roof top dining and swimming were amazing. room decor felt very custom and intentional.

Loved getting a room upgrade!

The location was good, close to alot of attractions. The price was medium to high but probably good cost point for high end.

Location. Walkable to ACL. Traffic around hotel was horrendous. Very limited room service
- 5/5
The bed was great! The size of the room was very spacious and clean. The on-site restaurant was delicious and the cafe was very convenient for coffee in the morning. Everything was great. No complaints here.
- 5/5
Everything was great. No complaints here.

However, I was disappointed by a "hidden" $35 daily amenity fee that felt like a sneaky addition to the bill. They mention it goes toward a "Roots" carbon-offset charity initiative, but it’s frustrating to have this tacked on unexpectedly. I wasn't able to dine at the on-site restaurant as it was fully booked, but be aware that it is quite pricey and formal—it really depends on the vibe you're looking for. Great stay, but keep an eye on your final folio.
- 5/5
The room was spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable.

Exceptional
- 4.5/5
Design, quality of the bedding, towels, fridge. Good gym with sufficient equipment. Staffs are helpful. No slipper and essential bathroom kits. I asked for slippers when I arrived the room but the hotel said they run out off it. I stayed there for three days and did not get to use them. The house keeping also do didn’t give the new vanity kits and shower cap.

It’s a lovely place to chill and enjoy Austin right on the river but slightly away from the hustle and bustle of downtown and 6th street. An oasis!

- 5/5
Gorgeous room, gorgeous property, friendly staff. The only complaint is the incredibly loud street noise.
- 4/5
It was very nice. Did not have the rooms ready when trying to check in at 3pm.
- 5/5
Exceptional
- 4/5
Location near ACL - easy walking distance 1 king bed only. 1 roll-a-bed offered and used but 2 queens would have been better. Lots more choices for food in the other side of the River. We were in 2nd floor and road noise was noticeable.
- 5/5
Great hotel
- 1/5
Will never book with this hotel again. Manager was not accommodating at all.
- 4/5
Lovely property close to lots of trails on Lady Bird Lake. Close to many restaurants on Lamar.
- 3/5
I paid 500 a night for a deluxe city view but the view was of a building and some trees.
- 5/5
Great location on Lady Bird Lake Friendly staff Very cool decor and art
- 5/5
Best in Austin
- 5/5
Over the top service, huge room, beautiful place

- 5/5
Very clean room the entire hotel was very clean the restaurant there was amazing. The view from the restaurant is amazing. Loved my visit. Will stay there every time I go to Austin.
- 4.5/5
Nice views. Well located. The spa is not close to the gym. Gym should have steam showers too or sauna to use
- 5/5
This is my mom getaway spot. Everyone is so accommodating. It’s clean and quiet and perfect for relaxing away from all the mom jobs.
- 3.5/5
Clean quiet comfortable There is zero parking at the hotel and they force you to pay $60/night for valet. The parking situation in all of Austin is absurd, including this Hotel, other than that everything was great
- 5/5
The restaurant on the top floor is excellent!
- 4/5
Pool is small,. Our room was on 3rd floor facing street which was very noisy. Only valet parking I prefer an option to self park.
- 5/5
Room service was great.
- 3.5/5
Great location, well appointed, nice restaurant and bar, comfortable room and bed The street noise is VERY loud unless you have a room away from the street, Lamar. These are the basic rooms so you need to upgrade to avoid having a room with extremely loud traffic noise.
- 5/5
Chic, great service, super comfortable bed, perfect shower.
- 5/5
Amazing hotel. Perfect for an anniversary trip. Gym was great coffee shops was great people watching, morning walk on lady bird lake. Loved that my dog could hag out with us over breakfast!
- 4/5
Great hotel and staff and beautiful rooms. Only downside is loud st (Lamar blvd) cars racing and burning tires 11-3am. Family had a terrible restless sleep due to that.
- 5/5
If valet is required it should not be extra.
- 5/5
Loved staying here, great location and staff.
- 5/5
The Loren is the perfect hotel for relaxing, with a pool area on the roof top and a great spa next door. The room and the bathroom were spacious, and I loved the automatic shades!! The staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Especially Amanda, who went above and beyond when assisting me in the restaurant and at the pool. The breakfast menu could offer a view more healthy options. Loved the cafe on the ground floor, great coffee and very nice baristas. I will definitely come back for another spa weekend.
- 4.5/5
New and modern hotel, great room, spacious and with comfortable bed. Very nice staff and great valet. Highly recommended. Great value for money.
- 5/5
Went above and beyond to make our stay great!
- 4/5
It was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was charged for the mini bar and don’t know why. Did not want to valet had no choice. Letting valet park your car was the only option.
- 4.5/5
Beautifully decorated, quiet, and spacious room with comfortable bedding, a large bathroom, convenient coffee, and access to a first-floor spa with a 15% discount—great value overall, and I would definitely stay again. I do wish there was water access for each floor instead of having go downstair.
- 5/5
Great hotel, great rooms
- 5/5
Absolutely loved this hotel and everything about it . The overnight parking is a bit high - I think it was over $50 a night .
- 5/5
Outstanding service, beautiful rooms with amazing view!
- 5/5
The hallways are a bit dark. If was 20% less dark it’d be ideal.

Great hotel
- 4/5
Check-in wasn’t very smooth. We arrived an hour after check-in time and our room wasn’t ready. After waited for 20 additional minutes and told the front desk we were in a rush to get to a wedding that evening. We ended up having to switch to a room that was ready and then waited for our bags for another 20 before we went down and grabbed them ourselves.
- 5/5
Loved our staycation at this hotel. Friendly staff, good amenities & clean rooms.
- 5/5
The menu for room service and the restaurant was a bit limited.
- 5/5
We will be back! Friendly staff. Love the location.
- 5/5
I recently stayed at the Loren during a trip to Austin, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment I arrived, the service was absolutely top-notch. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. Highly recommend.
- 0.5/5
Hotel was great but i have been trying (without success) to get an invoice for my stay- massive waste of my time
- 5/5
Great location. Balcony looking over the river and city has a view for instagram.
- 5/5
The employees are the best. Good was delicious!!!!
- 5/5

- 3/5
Too much street noise
- 5/5
Wonderful - centrally located and just perfect!
- 1/5
Did not let me check in to hotel until after 5 pm and missed dinner party because of it awful and unacceptable
- 5/5
I highly recommend this hotel. It was absolutely gorgeous, and the staff was extremely friendly.
- 5/5
Lovely property in good location
- 5/5
One of the nicest restaurants in Austin
- 5/5
Very nice spot in Austin to stay for walkable access to many restaurants, parks, and shopping in Austin.
- 5/5
Great place to stay where you can walk the Lake and across to downtown Austin. Very peaceful despite being close to the city. Awesome rooftop restaurant and downstairs coffee shop. Love the way plants are incorporated into the property.
- 5/5
Excellent service. Clean hotel. Great location. Only issue we had was the quality of toilet paper. For a hotel like The Loren the toilet paper should not be the low grade quality that it was.
- 5/5
Front desk was always very helpful. Little café was nice. The river walk was beautiful. I can't wait to back.
- 5/5
This hotel is beautiful, modern, in a great location and offers great amenities. I would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
My family enjoyed our stay at the Loren and would happily return.
- 5/5
If I have to recommend one thing, it would be that there should be a rain forest shower. So with that in mind this hotel is a 9.8 out of 10.
- 5/5
Beautiful property, friendly staff, excellent location. Will be back!
- 2/5
Not a 5* hotel, also the most expensive on our 11 night road trip and was the worst experience we had in Texas by far. Stayed 2 nights - arrived at 12pm (3 hours before check in) room wasn’t ready not a problem. I was told they are cleaning now and will be done asap (great news) went for some lunch at Terry Blacks as it’s a 10minute walk. 1:30pm back at hotel, not had a call or email so asked the front desk if the room was ready - not yet shouldn’t be long, no problem had a coffee at the Cafe which was the only (highlight of the place and great staff) 1:30-2:30pm others guests arriving and where checked in (not a problem) 2:45 I asked if the room was ready and it still wasn’t. 3pm surprise the room was ready. We had the lake view premier suite with balcony. The room/valet and bellboy services with the cafe are the only positives at the hotel. After the 1st night we went out for the day came back around 4:30pm and the room wasn’t cleaned. Contacted the front desk and was told someone would be there asap as they finish at 5pm. Called again asking if they are coming and suggested to just give us clean towel's and empty the bins. We were told no problem they will sort. So… 3 phone calls later (1 hour 30mins after 1st call) and feeling like we had to beg to get basic services someone turned up with clean towels! Shocking service for the price not a 5* hotel. Stay elsewhere in Austin AVOID this hotel. Not worth the premium.

Simply lovely, next to Barton Creek and the river. Great walking
- 5/5
All perfect.. just a little noisy during the night due to the heavy traffic.. recommend better noise insulation.. Thanks
- 5/5
Excellet property & stay
- 5/5
Beautiful property: well considered and appointed.
- 5/5
Fabulous design and pleasant atmosphere, gorgeous rooftop seating for exquisite lazy nights. Room large and again, gorgeous design. Excellent hotel to relax after a hot day exploring Austin
- 5/5
This hotel stay was definitely one of the better I have had in travel. The staff was friendly, the rooms well maintained by the cleaning staff, room service was fantastic, and we had an excellent afternoon by the pool where the waiter Dom kept us very well stocked with delicious poolside beverages. I want to stay here every time I visit Austin in the future.
- 5/5
Best hotel in Austin!amazing art amazing staff and great rooms
- 5/5

- 5/5
Wonderful hotel. Would highly recommend.
- 5/5
A very beautiful hotel with great amenities and wonderful staff.
- 5/5
The Loren is a beautiful property. Exceptional appointments. Friendly and professional staff!
- 5/5
Very intimate, well-kept, nice staff. We loved our stay there!
- 4/5
My go-to hotel in Austin. Great facility and location though I always feel that management of the hotel could be more elevated. We ordered some coffee pods to be sent to the room as we opted out daily cleaning, they were not delivered until a few hours later. House keeping staff knocked on our door when "do not disturb" sign was hung out.
- 5/5
Perfect location in Austin. We loved the restaurant on the top floor with a great view of the city. Our stay was very enjoyable.
- 1/5
Absolutely disappointed with my stay! On top of the already expensive room rate, I was hit with hidden fees that completely soured the experience. They charged an outrageous resort fee for amenities I didn't even use, and to top it off, an overnight parking fee that was an absolute robbery $55 a night It felt like they were just looking for ways to nickel and dime guests. I won't be staying here again and definitely don't recommend this place to anyone looking for transparency and value.
- 5/5
Loved everything about this hotel
- 4/5
Great hotel and location but traffic noise was pretty loud.
- 4/5
For the first time, we had to wait for our room to be ready even though guaranteed check-in time was 3pm. It was past 4pm when we finally got into our room. We heard it was due to a critical hotel supply item not arriving on time. Upon our complaint, the manager (Chris) was able to provide a $100 credit toward our dinner at Nido. Dinner was very good.
- 5/5
Staff is great, very helpful and attentive. Beautiful property.
- 3/5
If you’re looking for a 5 star hotel, this is NOT it. Front desk was not helpful, pool was tiny and when we ordered cocktails by the pool there was no alcohol, for $75 I would expect there to be some. There were not any amenities that you would expect from a “5 star” hotel. I’m not sure if they had enough maid service staff because we only got towels when we asked, and we didn’t get our room serviced every night. I have other not so great experiences there but it’s too lengthy to list. All in all, next time I’m looking for a 5 star hotel this will definitely not be it. I’ll be staying at the Ritz, Four seasons, or the Commodore Perry estate in Austin.
- 4/5
The hotel took resort fee and even water to the room they didn't bring...and no breakfast 😔
- 5/5
We really liked The Loren. Great location. The service was excellent. The room was clean, comfortable. The pool was very nice. The only detail I didn't like was the noise coming from the street (City View). Take that into consideration, specially during the weekend. Other than that, our stay was excellent.
- 2/5
We paid for the Deluxe City View King Room which, according to the room description on their Website, meant we were supposed to have a room on one of the upper floors. I brought it up to the front desk, and since we had already gotten settled in the room, said we rather not move, but would like the difference refunded. The front desk staff said they would have to check with their manager, and that they would touch base in the morning. In the morning when I went to check out, there was entirely different staff with no knowledge of the situation. I checked out and decided not to worry about the $30-$40 because that was clearly what they expected from their clientele. The place was beautiful but is meant for high-rollers, not us common folk lol
- 5/5
PROS: - dog friendly - 5 star staff - the true highlight - cool relaxed style - good poolside cocktails - great location next to auditorium shores CONS: - some of the amenities are closer to that of a 4 star - we could hear the road quite loudly overnight - the AC in the room seemed to not work effectively during high demand hours
- 5/5
PROS: - dog friendly - 5 star staff - the true highlight - cool relaxed style - good poolside cocktails - great location next to auditorium shores - good price CONS: - some of the amenities are closer to that of a 4 star - we could hear the road quite loudly overnight - the AC in the room seemed to not work effectively during high demand hours - alarm went off at 2 am - big pet peeve- why do we still have alarm clocks in hotel rooms?!?
- 5/5
We loved our time @ The Loren. It's my new go-to staycation hotel in Austin. I love the modern design and all the plants which created a serene environment. The location is perfect, especially if you like to exercise (trails and lake are right across the street). The restaurant and coffee shop are top-notch. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. You will not be disappointed.
- 4/5
Great hotel. The view was amazing. Downtown at night looked beautiful. The only issue i had was valet parking. Otherwise possible scratches.
- 5/5
5 star service!
- 5/5
Great interior design, art and ideal location on the lake. Definitely would stay again.
- 5/5
This place was really nice. No complaints
- 5/5
What a great experience. The Loren was the most wonderful stay-cation birthday experience for us! Highly recommend -
- 5/5
Gorgeous Hotel with great service. 5 star ⭐️
- 5/5
Beautiful property in the perfect spot! Will definitely stay again!
- 5/5
The hotel’s entire staff were very hospitable!
- 5/5
The bathroom was spacious, with great finishes and one of the best, most relaxing soaking tubs ever!
- 3/5
There was a $55 dllr mandatory overnight valet parking fee which was not advised for when booking the hotel. The $35 dllr resort that was mentioned does not include water or coffee like stated.
- 5/5
Awesome and great property will definitely only stay here while in Austin
- 5/5
Loved the hotel staff, the atmosphere and the spa. Parking was a bit of a zoo and the valets were unfriendly.
- 5/5
Great views od downtown, great room
- 4/5
The overall green design of this hotel is wonderful. Our room was a lake view king. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was great. The dining options in the hotel were okay. The bar on top floor is more a happening see and be seen place than a place for good food. The breakfast option is just a coffee bar with few options. Despite all of this, the location is fabulous and would stay again.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel and perfectly located with LBJ Trail. Wonderful customer service.
- 5/5
Love the service and how clean the hotel was so far the best hotel I stayed in Austin can’t wait to come back
- 5/5
This was an exceptionally upscale eclectic Hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff.
- 5/5
My kids and I were in Austin for the Texas State UIL High School Vasristy Baseball game, Which Tomball High School won, and decided to stay at The Loren at Lady Bird Lake and it was an awesome choice. The staff was amazing and we stayed in the 2 bedroom Greenroom room 201 and WOW it was very spacious, clean and comfy. We were able to walkaccross the bridge to eat at several different restaurants. The view of the Colorado River from the bridge was so beautiful. When packing up to check out, I sent a text to Vallet and before we got down to the lobby, I already had a text back that my vehicle was ready. If ever I get a chance to go back to Austin, I would stay here again! I highly reccommend!!!
- 5/5
Will definitely stay again! Gorgeous room, quiet, lovely hotel.
- 5/5
Everything! The staff was excellent. Loved the pool. The rooms are superb. OUTSTANDING!
- 3/5
staff was very rude, room very loud.

Beautiful rooms and very comfortable beds. The Valet was very efficient and the front desk staff was very welcoming.
