It was fine for an overnight stay. We basically just slept there and ate breakfast. Breakfast was minimal and definitely not hearty. Property was decent but could use some touch ups. Very loud hotel. Could hear doors opening all night above and below us.

There was a long line on the reception , making me go back to the car and reserve a room for on night on line , regretting that because of third party booking , I will not have earned points to my account . I would not have gotten points anyway , as my address associated with my account was entered wrong on the front desk . I love the location of the Wingate and will stay there again . In a busy Saturday afternoon , perhaps you need two employees on the front desk

The location was convenient and the bed was comfortable. The lights from the parking lot were shining into the room at night and the curtains didn’t block the light out. It made it difficult to sleep in the room because it was so bright.

Close to my event Front desk clerk very unfriendly I had ask for early check in and she said “it was cancelled”. No one told me it was cancelled until I got there

I like that everything was so close by, and where I needed to be for an event was literally down the road. I really don’t have any complaints.

I liked the location of the property and the overall look of the building. It was quiet, spacious and I appreciated the gym. My furniture in the room needs some remodeling along with the bathroom shower. Aside from that, I would definitely stay there again.

Remodeled from some other hotel chain. Weird smell in hallways and room. I don’t even know what on the ceiling. Shower was dirty. Definitely got what I paid for, unfortunately.

The room was dirty upon arrival. I tried to change rooms but they claimed that they were booked. The manger made the housekeeper come back & clean room while my spouse was still inside the room. They had a sign on the AC to not exceed 72 degrees which is insane because it was very muggy the weekend we stay.

Staff very friendly and accommodating. The run furniture could use some updating of replacement. Close to many restaurants. Overall a nice stay. Bonus points with location being beside Home Goods.

we had an issue with housekeeping on the 2nd and 3rd day of our stay when she took all towels and did not replenish and left the trash cans on the desk and counter, then another time i ran into her in the morning to find out what time she would be coming in to clean, she stated around 4pm but she never cleaned it. I addressed it with front desk and manager and was assigned a new housekeeper who did a wonderful job from 4th-8th day of our stay.

Expedia receipt and showed them, then they saud there was a cliched in the system. The rooms were not modernized. I stayed on the first floor and could literally hear people walking upstsirs in their room and they were stomping all night. Someone was blasting music all night. Totally unacceptable. Worst hotel stay.

The attitude of the front desk clerk was horrible. The bathroom had used toilet paper on the roll. I don't want to touch any toilet paper that someone else has utilized and don't know what it could have been exposed to during that time.....the room is dated and needs renovations.

Large pink and yellow stains on the carpet in room 202. The leather fabric on the headboards were badly scratched off. Water stains on the ceiling near the window. Bed was very comfortable. Waffles and bacon were good!

Im sorry to write this, but it was a dirty dump. The walls were nasty and smelled like smoke, there were two guys literally right outside being loud and smoking dope next to the backdoor that was 10 feet from my room. You could hear them through the walls. The remote was taped together, there was no water pressure in the shower. I will never stay at another Wingate. Only one light worked in the room. It was not a great stay. Im sorry, I have thought about this for a month before writing this, but maybe this will help the next person.

My room wasn’t filthy. I don’t know if the brown stains on the bathroom floor were worse or all of the hair and stains in the shower. Oh, let me not forget about the stains on the toilet. Disgusting.

Staff was very nervous ce. Check in clerk a bit abrupt. Had a maintenance issue in the am but it was well handled.

I am a property manager. They had clearly recently underwent renovations, the staff at the desk was awesome but it was immediately apparent to me that corporate has not dedicated the funds to address prior smoking odors or to properly staff the hotel with cleaning staff. My room had not been prepared with enough towels (one bath towel was provided), the cigarette odor was so profound that i had to run the AC constantly to manage it so I didn’t get a headache, there were cigarette stains on the night stand, coffee cups had not been restocked, the shower had not been cleaned in at least two weeks given visible discoloration. These are jot health or safety issues but they did greatly contribute to how I felt about my stay. I could tell that the desk staff was diligently working to manage guest frustrations that were occurring from being sold false expectations about the condition of the hotel. Corporate needs to allocate funds to ensure a sufficient cleaning staff is retained and to mitigate lingering cigarette odor in this hotel.

The staff was friendly, accommodating and informative. The hallway to our room was clean. The room was clean and bigger than i expected. The bed was the great. I like a firm bed and their's hit the mark. The bathroom was clean and stocked. A basic but its just to say i had good experience there and I would visit again and suggest it to anyone.

The property was clean, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. It is not a resort, but a hotel with a lot of transient personnel and limited parking so if you're going to park, get back in early to get a space. Great dining options close by, like within walking distance or short drives. Outside of that, it was a good stay for the few days I was there for my conference.

Booked a room with two queen beds. When we got there, we were told they only had a king bed and a pullout couch. We cancelled the reservation on the spot. Hotel clerk was great and put through the cancellation. They should work better with their travel partners such as Expedia to ensure availability of rooms.

All in all it was a decent hotel, nothing extravagant, beds were comfortable, hotel was quiet, and the black out curtains made the room comfortably dark for sleeping. Breakfast was good, a typical hotel breakfast bar, again nothing extraordinary but good enough to satisfy a morning hunger. Coffee was very good. I would rate this as an average hotel, possibly with the improvement they are making it could be better than average. I can say I would stay there again.

Nice staff. My room was not cleaned. You could tell there was some sort of party in the room . There were balloons left on the floor and popped balloons under the ac unit. Crumbs on the floor balloon hanging from the ceiling. The bathroom was also not cleaned hair and dirt left in the tub and sink no toilet was in the room. Breakfast options were decent. Need better cleaning staff.

There was loud TV on one side and a party above until 4am. I had to call downstairs 3x before anyone would answer. The noisy continued so I went downstairs and no one was at the desk. I left a note asking someone to call me and no one did. The next day I was asked to call back tomorrow when the supervisor would be there. The staff walk up to my room and confirmed the noise in the am.When I called the supervisor they refused to reimbursement me the money or another free night stay. I had to drive on 95 back to fl for 7 hours be exhausted,

When we arrived, the front desk clerk did not acknowledge us, she just walked pass us 2 time, so we thought someone else was going to assist us with checking in. She finally come back to the desk and says, "I will be with you shortly". After she finished walking around or doing whatever was so important than checking in a customer, she finally checked us in. Nothing friendly, no smile, no nothing but I need your ID and to sign here. I did not know where the elevator was, another guest helped each other figure it out, then she yells, "its on your left to the right. Just terrible customer services overall. The room was nice and peaceful night sleep was great.

This was a great property that fit our budget and our need for a quality experience. Definitely would choose again.

The rooms come with only three hangers, so I had to ask for more. The front desk staff was very nice, but the cleaning staff needs some help. When I checked in on Sunday, I had no towels in my room. When I came back to my room on Wednesday (they say they change all towels every 3rd night), they did not leave me any washcloths or face towels.

Upon checking in, I entered the first room given to room 302 room 322. The floors were sticky. The carpet had debris the tables were also dirty with sticky film, ashes, and tobacco. The linen had brown or blood like stains, so I called down to the front desk to let them know the gentlemen on duty came upstairs to confirm and switch me to room 302. Upon entering 302 immediately noticing the bathroom had dried urine around the toilet, there were gummy bears on the floor, so I immediately turned around to go back downstairs to let them know this room was also dirty and that I would be requesting a refund

The employees were very friendly and on top of things. They had a little bit of an issue with the keycards but it was fixed quickly. The parking lot is a nightmare and you may end up parking at one of the adjacent hotels because they are practically built on top of each other. There is a Texas Roadhouse directly behind the building and other restaurants in walking distance. It's a good area but very busy. Would stay again

Was in town for a funeral. My day stay was good, check-in went smooth, customer service was good young lady asked if I had a floor preference and found room on suggested floor. Check out process went well also.

We had an obnoxious bunch of drunks that were rowdy and loud on our third night. The front desk tried to deal with them but they were very unruly apparently from checkin time. They were in the room right next to us and we got zero sleep. My suggestion would be to not give these undesirables a room when they show up already altered and making a scene.

Girl at check in was friendly and as helpful as possible. Room condition was good but not overly clean. Mattress was hard and not very comfortable, but if you like very firm mattress it would be good. The room has terrible curtains and a parking light on top of the window. Very bright and heavy traffic. We needed bedding for pull out for our son. They gave us sheets but they didn’t have any blankets.

Arrived at 8pm and was told my room was not ready. Extremely disappointed

I can’t say enough positives about the front desk staff—they were friendly, helpful, and very professional.

The beds were comfortable and it was quiet at night.

The rooms did not have any detailed cleaning as we had to go purchase disinfecting wipes to wipe the furniture, counters, bathroom and pretty much all surfaces, wipes turned black (pictures available). Elevator was not cleaned, stuck to the floor. Parking lot exterior night lights were aimed into our room, it was like the middle of the day at night, very bright and annoying. Very disappointing and will not stay at another Wyndham property again.

Easy to get to, limited parking and an alright breakfast. There were a couple of people hanging out in the lobby that i didnt think were staying there, they were using the internet, little wierd...but our room was great. Super comfy bed... we would surely stay here again.

It was noisy all night and a car alarm going off starting at 5am - It was sort of clean but I found myself wiping everything off before I used it or put something down

The breakfast are was satisfactory also coffee spill in the hallway they didn’t even clean it after I told the staff and was and folding sheets that guest could see also folding sheets on the table you eating breakfast

0/10 recommend. unfortunately, i don’t have one positive about my 10hr stay. i arrived later in the evening to a full parking lot & cars lining the curb and fire lanes. i had to back out around the building and double park. the sliding doors were broken, front desk didn’t speak to me, i just told them my name. the room was disturbing. see photos - floors sticky, dirty walls carpet, curtains sink etc. the led lights outside lit up the room (photo taken at 1:30 am) i got up got dressed and left before sunrise

There was no parking no property. We had to park in the back in another hotel lot which was dark and felt unsafe. Room was dated with multiple paint colors on the wall trying to patch. Room was not very clean in the corners. No mattress pad on the beds. Just sheets on the mattress.

Good clean room. Good service. Few items needed repair such as toilet paper bar, door security lock; and walk in shower slopes allowing water to run to toilet and washbasin area. Parking not adequate.

People didn’t want to clean our room and charge me $2000 for the whole week and only clean my room once and my guys end up vacuuming their own room

Arrived at property waited almost an hour to check in. Original room i was booked for was closed due to mold, the second room i qas assigned had someone in it already. And the third room smelled like mold and cigars. After 2 hours of being in there i i got a headache thay wouldn't go away so went to sleep in my car. Very unpleasant stay

After finally getting checked in then the onwer says there is no Television service in the whole building, went into the room and it had not been cleaned, parking is limited, staff lying down in the lobby

It was great

The room was clean. The bed was very comfortable. The shower needs to be super cleaned/replaced due to old mold stains. There was a hole in the floor under the carpet where the A/C had leaked. Through no fault of the property, the cable was not working so no TV. WiFi worked. Breakfast had many options. The Fridyy night desk clerk was friendly, humorous and helpful.

Great hotel!

The Tv didn’t work, no tissue in bathroom and the wall and base boards are so nasty. I spray Lysol and still wasn’t comfortable.

Because of the timing, and purpose off my visit to Augusta, I couldn’t cancel my stay ( prepaid accommodation) and find another hotel! I cleaned the (it was a push do) the SHOWER, bathroom myself, I should have taken a picture! I had the room, carpet with Lysol !

Odor it just smelled bad ,morning desk clerk cutting toenails at the front desk did not eat the continental breakfast due to overall cleanliness

If you are legally blind and deaf it is probably a good property but when you look at the attention to detail on facility up keep, it is shoddy work. The doors close CRAZY loud so if you are a lite sleeper or someone who has trouble getting back to sleep, good luck booking this hotel. They keep the refrigerator setting low so dont expect to keep left over food in there. So overall, you may want to look across the street.

Off the bat, this is a very decent place for $100/night. The staff are helpful, the room is comfortable. Housekeeper changed towels and garbage upon request, forgot to mention bed being remade so it was left unmade. This hotel needs updated, cosmetic enhancements. The hallway windows are dirty, missing hardware from hallway doors, chipped paint on doors, stairwells, stains in corner of shower - told it was hard water stains by housekeeper. Breakfast is okay, like that hot water, tea available throughout day/evening. Computer and printer works. Room has fridge and microwave. Bed is comfortable. So overall, this isn’t a bad place if you have a short stay.

Hotel was very clean and room was immaculate!! The only thing that needed improvement was the breakfast. It was ok but not great. Overall we were satisfied!!

Property was easy to locate and close to multiple food options, from quick service to sit down. Staff was friendly. Continental breakfast offered multiple options and was just what we needed before getting back on the road.

Dirty with bugs

Everything was clean and nice! Beds were definitely the best!

Very limited parking space

When I arrived I had to wait 15 minutes before someone came to check me in. Then the room I was given was not totally clean. So I went to get something eat then upon my return the room was clean but there was a pile of dirty towels outside my door. I did ask them to move them which they did. The room was clean but they need to invest in new linen. The sheets were sour, the pillows were so old, The coverings were wrinkled and not inviting. The towels were ok. The carpet in the hallway needs to be replaced as well. Besides that it was an ok stay for one night for me.

This hotel was average but still a good deal for the price. The two Indian gentlemen that checked us in and out were very pleasant. The property needs some maintenance such as cleaning of exterior. Not enough parking spaces. Don’t come back after 9pm bc there will no spaces available. Breakfast was not good at all. Go to McDonald’s across the street or Dunkin down the street.

Clean hotel

The property is conveniently located off the interstate for easy access. There are dining options within walking distance. The breakfast was okay, but it would have been nice to have more than one option for yogurt (there really was only one container of yogurt). It took a full 10 minutes to have hot water for the shower.

Property needs a fresh update across the board. Rooms, bathrooms, ac units and decor. Ac unit is extremely loud and the common area is cluttered and dirty.

Good hotel to stay and clean. There is construction going nearby but doesn’t bother too much.

Checkin was great after a long drive. A/C fan bearings were going out the first night, so it squealed all night.( too tired to fight it) Next day they changed out the ac unit and it was much better. Not too up with the fake egg breakfast, but its free! Beds are comfortable. But the hotel needs a makeover. Ice machine is down and all rusty. Shower leaks out onto floor...needs some caulk. Otherwise, nice size room with lots of space.
