Rodeway Inn Augusta West - Fort Gordon

The property is old but clean. The parking is easy. Didn’t do breakfast so no input on that. Bed was comfortable. Nice working fridge. Had trouble with the shower not draining and they fixed it right away. Easy to get to, right off the highway. Would stay there again.

we had a king size bed. No bedside lamps, only 2 out of three over head lights worked. The tub/shower had a hole in the wall that was patched with some kind of sloppy resin. This property claimed to have some kind of breakfast , ha ...how about a few packaged muffins from the convenience store. I accept the fact that it was Masters week and price gouging is common, but I felt like we got taken advantage twice by getting a lousy room at $450 !!!!

Horrible staff, conditions, cleanliness, location, parking. Just all out horrible! They just come up with random policies on the spot without posting it online. They hired a young girl and it happened to be her first day during my check in. She was on the phone with her manager who was a massive a-hole to her and me. Never staying here ever again! O yes roaches, mold, and stench 0/10

There was a cockroach in a drawer and the towels smelled a little.

This was a lovely place, clean and perfectly suited for folks attending the Masters golf tournament.

I was charged a deposit after being assured in the app that I wouldn’t need to have one. The room was shabby and not what I reserved. The toilet was broken and didn’t flush without extensive plunging , the refrigerator didn’t cool, the bed spreads were extremely old and worn out as were the linens and towels. The window was broken, and last of all I still haven’t had my deposit returned to me!!!

They lied on their website in regards to breakfast!!! There was a coffee machine cup creamer 6 forks packets of oatmeal and sweeteners. When I asked a staff she said it was continental. Paper bowls and cups, my bedding was never changed during the time I was bed was not made, I fell asleep with makeup on and the pillow case was not changed

Older property, but some renovations. Not enough of towels in bathroom.

Convenient off the highway. Felt safe. Woke about 8am went to get coffee none available went back about 8:30am lobby was open. Only thing there for breakfast was instant oatmeal. Room was clean but no coffee in room although there was a set for it even sugar and cream packets. One towel per person. Small towels. Basically you get what you pay for.

The property had security cameras, which is good. No coffee for the coffee maker. Thought it offered breakfast, but when I asked was told only from 7-8. First day we slept in. 2nd day, at 7:35, the office was closed. No sign of any breakfast. Dropped key in key box and left. Very basic, but not terrible. Bed was comfy; A/C worked good.

Thankfully the room was clean. However, there were no amenities. No night table on one side of bed. No reading lights. No tissues. And the air conditioner came on and off throughout the night, somewhat noisily.

This property was in a bad area of town. It was not very good surroundings. There were two windows that were broken in separate units as we walk by to our unit. It’s very very old. We asked for a non-smoking room and we smelled smoke when we entered. There was also cigarette burns on the bathtub.

Lobby area had a terrible smell. I think it was curry.Room was not comfortable. No chair. Poor lighting over mirror in bathroom. Could hear snoring through the wall in next room.

Came here for a night during masters week. It’s what you expect for a semi cheap hotel off the freeway. Bad location, odd smells and rundown rooms.

Our room was clean but the price was 400 dollars for a room during the Masters. It was not worth a fourth of this price. The location was great to enter Augusta National.

The inn was not accessible. The road to it was blocked, I had to find other accomodations!

Clean and friendly with great shower pressure. Solid 2 star, inexpensive stop if you need a place for a night or 2. Non-smoking rooms still smell like your grandmother smoked there all her life, but you can tell they’re redoing some things (new lamp shades, etc). Staff is friendly, and the bed was very comfy. Would stay here again.

It’s a $45 -$60 a night hotel . Low budget . Not a $90 a night hotel . Good news it was safe convenient location. It’s completely outdated which doesn’t bother me as long as it’s cean . Fairly clean at best . I would stay again at $55 a night but no more than that . Negative i had to use my shoulder to get the door open . It stuck . The top of the shower has dirt all over it . You can hear cars on the interstate all night and if somebody is outside you can hear every word they are saying. It’s a good value at $55 a night. Any more than that i would search elsewhere,

The room was not clean. It was mold in the bathroom and the room was not clean. The rags and towels were brown. The hotel looks like one for prostitution. I had to literally slam the door to lock it. Yes slam, and the night clerk is the one who came to the room to show me I had to slam it. I didn’t feel safe at all. This experience was the worst.

I was pleasantly surprised to get such a nice place for the price I paid. The proprietor was very nice and helpful.I would recommend this place to my friends.

The hotel is convenient to shopping , dinning, and many businesses. You can find anything a short drive or walk during the sunset or sunrise. If you love golf you can just go next door to the golf store. Lots of office space in the area for start up organizations and business. This a Good Hotel I have nothing bad to say I didn't Like.

Before you book this hotel in pay for it or use your reward nights please make sure you call first in ask if they have smoking rooms available we booked in payed for a smoking room once we arrived after a night out we were told that we didn't book a smoking room we showed them our booking that said smoking we still we're given a non smoking room I had to stand outside to smoke it felt very unsafe in it was cold I understand that alot of hotels are smoke free that's why I made sure to pick a smoking room if I didn't pre pay we would not have even stayed

The room had a terrible smell. The bed was one of the most uncomfortable things I have every slept on after 20 years in the military and eight deployments. I went to check out and couldn’t get a receipt, I was told it would be emailed later. It took an extremely long time to get any hot water in the shower. There was paint peeling from the ceiling.

The owner and his wife were very friendly and helpful. The Inn is located within walking distance of a Sam's Club, a Walmart, a mall, and several restaurants. The room was clean and fresh linen was supplied daily. There was a continuous flow of hot water for the shower. Non-smoking rooms are available. I had absolutely no complaints about the Inn or service.

Uneventful, the toilet ran unless you jiggled the handle. Clean and quiet no frills Inn with an amazing king size bed.

You get what you pay for. The property is a little run down, but the rooms are clean, with a small fridge, microwave, Roku flat screen TV, and daily linen service. It's definitely a great value if you just need a place to rest your head every night.

I like that the hotel was not far from downtown Augusta and it was close to interstate. I didn’t like the area and that it was in the cut. Can be easily missed.

This hotel is doing human trafficking. I reported them to the fbi. Someone tried to come through the ceiling in my bathroom. I watched the ceiling panel move from the inside. I scared them away by saying. I see you and i have a gun. And im not afraid to use it!!! It was around 2 am so they thought id be sleep i guess. But i high tailed it the hell outta there. I drive bk by there the next day. And they had these vans parked on bk. You know the white ones that look like work vans.

Check in was fast, staff was courteous. Room was kind of run down and shabby, but very clean. For the price, it was a good deal.

Great place away from the Washington Road cheap places with all the attendent difficulties. Clean bed, easy access.

It was in good location. Check out said 1130 but we had office calling us at 10 asking when we were checking out and then 15 minutes later was knocking on our door asking when we were checking out. Other than that I would recommend.

Price was good; place was clean; parking lot exit onto main road was through a blind corner -- potentially quite dangereous; you had to be lucky to make the exit safely.

Way better than what I expected, cheap price, the room was extremely clean and comfortable, and the shower was great.

One star is not low enough. Do not understand the positive ratings on this hotel. This place was so bad that we could not stay. "Room by the hour" was the best we could describe it as. Horribly nauseating smell, stains on bed and chair (did not even check what sheets looked like), no air conditioning, and loudly clanking room fridge (loud enough to be heard through phone). Management refused full refund because we had checked in. How do you know how bad a room is without checking in first. Buyer beware..You have been warned.

this is an older property, very well maintained and managed. i find it very clean, comfortable beds, good TV and Internet. This is an excellent value and a very good central location for shopping and eating. Also it is quiet.

It's a nice little motel in the side of you don't want to pay alot

The property was hard to find on GPS but when you called they could direct you to the property. Could have been my old age. The staff was very helpful when you ask them anything. For the money it was worth every penny I paid. There were no restaurants in walking distance and they served no coffee but I was there to sit in hospital and stay out of the storm.

Excellent value for the money. The couple who manage the place are the nicest people we've come across in a very long time. Adjacent to excellent shopping, eateries, 520 and I 20,well you just couldn't ask for more. I would highly recommend this place and would certainly stay there again next time we are in Augusta.

It's not anything fancy, but the room was clean and in working order. It's kind of tucked away on its own, but it's located just minutes from shopping and food locations. Would stay there again.
