    Great location. We had an updated room which was nice. No pullout couch though. I had so share a bed with my son. Beds are comfortable. Pillows are a no no. Soft and very flat. Take your own if you need more neck support. Not sure why hotels don’t do firmer pillows. Shower head is fabulous! Love the water pressure. Clean towels. Breakfast was really not that great. Not a great selection. Notice stuck up to watch how much you eat “other people have to eat too…” very unprofessional. There was no toast available. Hot food was cold. We never had breakfast there during our three day stay. Went to eat around 8am. Had to keep curtains closed at all times (block-outs) as the building material was right outside our room windows and people getting on and off scaffolding. Had very little privacy and dark room during the day. Will be back but will address these issues in person next time. Nothing serious…..

    I don't know about pets. But whatever the staff uses to get rid of pet odors works!! Because my allergies were not affected. We arrived Friday afternoon for check-in. Sometime during the night the bathroom sink got backup and the floor in front of the sink was wet. I contacted the front desk and they sent maintenance to take care of it. It was done when we return to room. No more problems and YES we will stay there again.

    The property was clean and what was expected. The staff for the most part was very friendly however the assistant GM named Ivy was quite rude and was not at all focused on customer satisfaction. The pool amenity at the property did not indicate that use of it required sign-up yet Ivy insisted it was required. The pool area was extremely hot and uncomfortable which I asked the front desk worker could have someone check as sitting in the pool area was not at all comfortable. It was then that I was confronted by Ivy who went into a rude rant and said if it was uncomfortable come back at night. Totally unacceptable!!!

    There was no cover to unload during check-in and it was raining very hard. The next morning there was no hot water and was told it would be after 8 am before it would be fix. The bottom sheet on the bed would not stay on and would pull off while you slept. Very disappointing experience!!

    We liked the breakfast buffet. We hated that the alarm clock sounded at 5:30 AM on Feb. 1. We did not know how to shut off the sound, and we did not set the alarm clock in the first place. We called the registration desk 3 times between 5:30 - 5:45 AM on early Feb. 1. Your employee was asleep on the job! Shameful!

    The hotel was very clean but someone tried to come in our room 2 times that night around 3 am and about 20 minutes later luckily we had the top lock on the door i called the front desk and she said it was a staff member and she had me down as canceled which was a lie but i will never stay there again my wife and kids were in there who knows what would have happened had they gotten in that room

    We had a great stay. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean. A nice detail was the printers in the business center. I was able to print out boarding passes with no problem.

    When we arrived I told them we had booked with Expedia and checked we had a pet. When we arrived we reinformed them we had a small dog ad they asked if we new the few for pets. We said no but that we had marked that as one of our search criteria and we had used Expedia points for part of the payment. The hotel was $87.00 and the pet fee was $150.00. We left and went to another hotel.

    Staff was friendly. Hotel appeared clean. The air filter in my room was extremely dirty, covered in so much lint, dust, hair that we took a picture and maintenance immediately apologized and changed it. Unfortunately we were there for 5 days over Memorial Weekend 2018 and the breakfast staff were not prepared. They ran out of plates and silverware. They also wete out of yogurt, bo rolls, muffins etc..We waited in the buffet line 30 minutes for plates. Once a guest finished eating the plate was washed and brought out to the guest waiting in the buffet line. This poor employee walked back and forth with individual plate at least 20 times. She then bought out plastic ware but had no paper plates. There was a 25 minute wait for the scrambled eggs each time, and the waffle line had two griddles where we stood in line an additional 30 minutes. People wete holding spots in line and then would have 3 people slide in to the waffle line. The next few days we went out for breakfast. The parking was easy, and the lobby was pleasurable. The primary disappointment was with breakfast..

We were not greeted when we came to breakfast, however the white older couple was showered with hospitality. The toilet tissue was not the highest quality. Very hard. Angel soft was the brand. Should have been Charmin. The room was nice, shower got hot, pool was clean. The gym was mediocre, only about five excerise machines. For the price, this Marriott has to step up their game.

    The hotel amenities and location of the hotel were all great and convenient. Breakfast was pretty good too. We stayed for 5 days and 4 nights. My only complaint, Housekeeping. They serviced the room the first night. The second day, it was half way done (towels were replaced but the bed wasn’t done, trash can was on top of the toilet as if they were in a rush) and that was it. They didn’t service any other time. It was disappointing to come back to an unmade hotel room the other nights. Other than that, it was a great trip and this hotel was sufficient.

    Me and my family left Florida to escape hurricane Irma and ended up at this fantastic hotel! The staff were all very pleasant, the room was spacious and clean, and we had all the amenities of home. It is dog friendly and our pup had a wonderful stay as well. The mixer on Monday night was wonderful as everyone came together and socialized over snacks and complimentary beer and wine. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Wonderful expierence!

    I arrived for my sisters wedding ahead of a hurricane causing major evacuations, many people being bussed into Augusta. The hotel was over run and yet they still took the time to make my stay perfect. The staff goes above and beyond to satisfy and the hotel itself is polished even when fully booked amid chaos. I've stayed in Augusta to visit family often and will be sure to only use this hotel in the future. 5 stars!

    Occasioned by Hurricane Matthew. We had evacuated from South Carolina. This was a great location to wait for permission to return to the areas hit by the storm. Staff was friendly, helpful and professional.

    This is hands down the best hotel I've stayed in Augusta - and I stay in Augusta fairly often. It is very new, but it's not just that it is new. It is so tastefully appointed. I almost felt like I was staying in a very nice apartment. The walls, floors, even the paint jobs were a touch above other similar properties. Well done, Marriot. There was a ton a counter space in the bathroom, which women really appreciate and the lighting in the bathroom also was excellent - again something I really like. Also, there are "happy hours" with food and drinks every night. That is a nice touch. The staff also was excellent! This will be my go-to place in Augusta from now on!

    I was extremely frustrated that I booked the room with Hotels.com. I paid in full for the 3 nights. Then the staff charged my credit card another 420.00 for the 3 nights that I already paid for. I called and they said they would issue me a credit. No credit yet. I called again and left the manager a voicemail. He did not return my call. Now I have to file a dispute with my credit card. Just really frustrated.
