Room was spacious, clean, and updated nicely; and the food at Augustino's was a delight! Staff was super friendly and helpful, however they definitely need a bigger team. This is no fault of theirs, of course, but some services like valet, bell hop, and the kitchen during lunchtime were delayed due to having only 1-2 people on duty. With this being a convention center, there's always going to be a larger crowd of guests. Corporate needs to hire more staff to support these kind, hardworking people.

Even while under lobby renovations, we found the convention center Marriott impeccably maintained. There was a weekend convention going on, but there was still parking in their garage. The pool and gym seemed to be closed due to the work going on. Great coffee at KC’s Korner and the location was an easy walk to local restaurants… :)

Although the staff were, without question, excellent. The room did not meet normal Marriott standards. It was to say the least, tired, the view was of air conditioning units and a rooftop. Both myself and my partner are Bonvoy members of long standing, this stay was extremely disappointing.

I can’t say enough about the Augusta Marriott. My room was extremely comfortable, the staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful especially when I had to extend my stay for a day because my flight got cancelled. The bellman even made a special early to drive me to the airport in the shuttle. The location was also great - right on the Riverwalk. I was a very happy guest!!

This hotel was not handicap accessible like I was told. The AYS Manager was very rude short and disrespectful. I was in town for a medical condition for my daughter and was not treated with the hospitality and respect that was deserved.

It was a very nice property. I loved how close it was to where I needed to go. The staff was friendly. If I could change anything it would be the size of the parking spaces in the parking garage, but that's just me looking for something to improve. It was an overall great experience. I will stay here again for my next work trip!

It's in a nice location, and the lobby is pretty! The A/C in the room was terrible! It would get super hot at night and then super cold. We were so uncomfortable all night. Also, it smelled a little bit like smoke in the room, and the shower wasn't the cleanest or nicest. The hallways were old and dirty looking. I expected much more.

Then they gave us two breakfast vouchers, which really wasn’t enough for our trouble the next day our bed wasn’t made, and they threw our soap away without leaving anymore so then we got 10,000 points which is equivalent to like $50 still not worth it and the other price dinner at Augustino’s was also very lackluster. They didn’t even ask how our stay was when we left. The hotel should be in much better condition for the price. The service left a lot to be desired.

Convenient for the events that we were here to attend. Clean. Parking excellent. The view of the Savannah River from our room was breathtaking and I would like this view each time we come!!!! When taking a shower, the water took about 20 minutes to get hot.

The pools are advertised as heated, but they weren't. It was the only disappointment of our stay. Hopefully, they have an inside jacuzzi, but we just couldn't enjoy the outside pool.

First, let me say the hotel is incredible. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. However, for the price I paid for a room on a Thursday, I expected a little more. The room was tiny, the floor had stains...when I got off the elevator and entered the room, I felt like I walked out of a grand hotel and entered a Motel 6. Certainly not worth the price I paid for one night. I'd go back for dinner, but I would stay somewhere else.

For the price totaling over $300 per night no free breakfast, had to walk building to building to find ice, no one to escort me to my suite or offer to help with bags.if it weren’t for midnight maintenance worker I would have given a lower rating,I was there celebrating my anniversary and the suite was ok but for the price I’ve seen and been in better places not even close to the price

In room safe had a low battery and would not work. Had to call the front desk on two different days to get it fixed. Fix was to put a new one on top of the old one. Did not check but did not look like it was secured. And the door of the cabinet somehow got a hinge disconnected. Housekeeping was inconsistent day to day. Room AC didn't cool past 76 7:30 am maintenance was spraying something in hall and room next to us work up as u counted hear the pumping and spraying over and over 25 minutes Bar no happy hour when theee corners left I sat down bartender picked up glasses and plates and dirty napkins but did no wipe down or sanitize then I asked Mickey and he did and sad that's just not right said I agree Did excellent manager lady served us at it was 9pm and Resturant closes at 9 she was great Nice hotel classy but not cooling AC and not wiping up after other customers is concerning

Our stay was great! Every employee that I encountered was incredibly friendly and welcoming! The room was nice and clean. I slept great! The restaurant in the hotel is also very good.

Window had a leak with water on the sill which I reported to staff someone from engineering looked at it but didn’t repair or clean.

The only issue I had was checking with additional parking fee requested after paying for parking when I booked the hotel. They were saying parking fee is void through booking on your site due to how the fees are allocated. They don’t receive the parking fees and they are responsible for paying the city. He honored it because I was able to show were it said, free parking after I paid for the fees through your site. Please be aware so no one runs into this issue. Thanks

I can’t even believe how bad it was…. I’ve stayed at hundreds of hotels. Some great ones, some not great ones. But I’ve never stayed somewhere quite this bad, service and environment wise. The outside area is fine, the location is fine, the restaurant is mediocre. But when we arrived, I had booked a king suite for me and my husband. They sent us on a scavenger hunt to find our room, and when we got there, it was a suite with 2 double beds instead of a king. No big deal, we’ll just go ask to be put in the correct room. When we got back to the front desk, the lady there asked if we “touched anything” like 5 times… no. We walked in, it was the wrong room, please put us in the right one. They gave us a new room, but acted as if we were the ones who messed it up. When we arrived to our new room, it was a standard king room, not a suite. Annoying since it’s not what we paid for, but whatever, it’ll do. But then, down the hall from us was a group of people, adults and children alike. It sounded like a few different rooms having a party going back and forth to each others rooms. Until well after midnight we got to listen to yelling, doors slamming, banging on doors, children screaming and crying. Just absolutely no common courtesy or consideration. The worst part is, this hotel is really big… and it was pretty empty. So it felt like they put us next to this noisy bunch on purpose.

It's a very nice property,lots of restaurants within walking distance and the restaurant and bar at the hotel are 5star
