Reviews
The hotel's location is highly praised for its proximity to the Stadium and various dining options, making it a convenient choice for many guests. However, the quality of the rooms and amenities is inconsistent, with some guests reporting issues such as dirty rooms, malfunctioning appliances, and poor water pressure.

Clean room, good breakfast. Easy walk to Truist ballpark
- 3/5
Wingate is located in a good location. Not ideal for walking to Truist due to major highway cross over. Wingate would not allow for early check ins even though their app said you could pay for early check in. Arrived 3.5 hours early and staff refused to let anyone check in early. There was a lot of upset customers over this. Room was cool, clean, and had plenty of space. Bed was comfortable. Shower pressure was absolutely terrible. Not worth $400 for one night. Will not be back. Had to wait 1.5 hour on uber after event was over. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra money for Omni….more convenience.

The hotel was very conveniently located to both the interstate and truest park, as well as several restaurants. The hotel was clean and staff was friendly, and overall everything was great. The only reason I did not give five stars is because the hotel is so close to the interstate. Specifically the bridge going over the 10 Lane Highway the hotel is off of is only a few hundredyards away. The noise was very loud all night long, especially when big rig trucks would go bumping across the bridge. Other than that it was a wonderful hotel!

The hotel overall was satisfactory. Check-in was quick. The staff seemed to be preoccupied with other tasks. They were not rude, unfriendly or unprofessional. They were just not very enthusiastic or welcoming. The breakfast was an average continental breakfast. It was clean in the dining area with various food options. There is plenty of parking, and no extra charge for it. The room was clean and stocked well. The hotel is in a good location and felt safe. There are plenty of nearby restaurants and activities to enjoy.

Room was quite ok, i liked, that we had almost everything we needed including iron, paper towel, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. The overall cleanliness was ok. The window was not opening, and there was no option to let the clean air come to the room. Also the street and highway noises were too high During the breakfast i asked for tea bags 2 mornings in a row and i didn't get it. This was not satisfying. Also they run out of the paper plates and until clients didn't ask nobody refilled this.

The room was clean and spacious. The lighting was poor and the furniture was old looking but the bed was comfortable with lots of pillows! The air/heat unit didn’t work well but worked enough. The flooring in the elevators was old and worn and needs to be updated. The breakfast service is not great but you probably won’t go hungry. The toaster is broken so you have to stand there and hold the flipper thing down to toast your bagel! Pain in the rear end. Given what we paid per night a new toaster should be easy to afford! I would recommend this hotel if you are going to a baseball game or the Cobb conference center for anything. It was easy to walk to either. Just be prepared for hills.

We absolutely loved our stay! We brought our son to the Braves game and we could easily walk there and it felt super safe! We highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

The hotel clerk just kept shuffling papers and had no idea what to do. She was unable to re-book my reservation and was only able to book us for one night in an ADA room (which I still had to pay for). The clerk attempted to contact the manager (Andi or Adi) and that was unsuccessful. The clerk took my phone number and reassured me that the manager would contact me personally to resolve the situation and that never happened. I had to reserve a different hotel for the remainder of my trip, and it cost me hundreds of dollars extra. Afterwards I checked my email and noticed that in my junk mail I received an email at 9:30am that day from Wingate that my reservation had been cancelled. I don’t understand why they would cancel the reservation the day someone was travelling and not even provide a phone call. Do not trust this hotel to honor their reservations and do not expect the manager to accept any responsibility.

The proximity to the braves stadium The staff was rude and dismissive, we asked MULTIPLE times for a plunger, they acted as if they had no idea what we meant, or then told us someone was coming and no one ever did, for over two hours until we decided to just check out early. The food on the breakfast bar was repulsive, as in we literally had to spit it out, part tasted like play dough, the rest was burnt. There was a sign in the stairwell saying that they had “whoever was urinating in the stairs to stop because they were on camera”- yet the ENTIRE stairwell was still covered in pee, so like they put up a sign, but didn’t clean it up? I have video of this. It was completely unsanitary, and honestly the worst hotel experience we have had, and we travel quite often. The rude, unpleasant and unresponsive staff made the experience even worse. We will never return to this location and are strongly considering ever booking with windam again

The front desk was wonderful and check in was a breeze. The walk to the park was not too difficult going and coming from the game. So, the location for the price was excellent. As others have said, the breakfast was not as good as other places we have stayed. It HAD all the basics, but just go the the Waffle House next door.

This was the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed at. Wish we had the time to enjoy the indoor pool while we were there. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Had a microwave, fridge, coffee pot, couch. It was very nice. It was great

It stinks.. They use to strong of a freshener that it just stinks and you can barley breathe.
- 3/5
After I checked I. And left the room, my door would not lock. I packed all my stuff back up and had to go to the front desk. Maintenance came right away to fix the door but it was the inconvenience for me. The conditioner in the bathroom had someone's hair on it.

Elevator call buttons not working on some floors. Attendant was on the phone for about 10 minutes before acknowledging people lined up waiting to be checked in. Breakfast is ok. Attendant cleaned the kids on the inside and outside with the same towel… that means whatever was dirty in the hands of those that open the lid, ended up inside of the next food item. Facecloths were used to clean tables during breakfast. Didn’t see any cleaning products used to disinfect. I hope one of these facecloths ends up in someone’s room or vice versa. Do not recommend!

I love the shuttle service! While we were totally fine with walking to where we needed to be, we took full advantage of the shuttle. There is a very very strong floral scent in the lobby and hallways; which is probably just a cleaning product so it's out of my control but it's an aggressive smell. No other issues besides that.

It wasn’t terrible but definitely not great. Our room looked relatively clean but as soon as you opened the door, was overwhelmed by smell of cat pee. This was on 4th floor. There were also no luggage carts available to carry our things easily, and as a family of 5, that made it very difficult since we have 3 littles. I received a text from the hotel offering assistance with anything just saying to respond back if we needed anything during our stay. I responded to ask for 2 extra pillows for the pull out couch. I never got a response. I ended up going downstairs to ask the lady at the front desk and she was only able to provide one because it’s “all they had.” The breakfast was okay. The indoor pool was FREEZING. I’m not saying it needed to be heated but that water felt dangerously cold and it’s an indoor pool…during May. Overall, not someplace I will revisit. I am fairly disappointed seeing as other reviews made it seem nice but it was just not up to par in my opinion. Hoping this helps someone else who is trying to make a decision!

But here’s the downfall, the cleaning staff is the most aggressive staff I’ve ever seen in a hotel. I literally had a Hispanic woman, with a Muslim man knocking on my door a few minutes after 10 am. It was like around 10:10AM. It woke me up from my sleep! I hadn’t gotten a lot of sleep because of the pain from being side swiped in a wreck so I was finally asleep and this Hispanic lady and Muslim literally knocked on my door three times before 11 am. So I went to the check out desk & told them what happened and she said I could stay till 12. It was a few minutes after 12 and we were getting our stuff ready to go & they came to our room like 10 more times after that, one person even walked in when I was getting ready but thankfully they couldn’t see me because I was on the other side. I couldn’t even get my things ready without someone knocking on the door every two minutes. I get that new people are coming in to stay but you don’t have to knock on it 15 times since around 10. It ruined my whole stay there &to expensive!

If you're going for Truist Park, there is a shuttle that can take you there but it WON’T pick you back up. We walked as it was pretty close by. We did have to cross 2 roads to get to the battery, but all went well. Hotel wasn’t the cleanest (sticky tv remote, splatter on the refillable tissue box, beer cans in the plants outside the front lobby doors, but everywhere that really mattered was clean. We love staying here and don’t ever have any issues. The only thing I can think to fix is the hot water is hardly none. You have to take a quick shower and the temp only gets to warm and gets cool very quickly. It was the same last year so I know it’s not just a fluke. Please fix this because we do want a hot shower.

Room smelled of smoke, door was unlocked before I even entered or scanned my key card. Key card did not work multiple times and had to keep returning to reception as I was unable to get access after closing the door to go and report the smoke smell. No offer was made to clean the room either. I was instead told that they were full and that I would need to find some place else. Receptionist also proceeded to shout across the reception area to ask if he can get the room because he can sell it to someone else for the night. Receptionist was rude, unprofessional and unhelpful to a solo female traveler from a different country who had been driving all day and checked in after 10pm. I then had to struggle to get my refund as well. Just an awful experience overall. Lack of cleanliness in the room, poor management and rude receptionist on duty that night (staff on duty the next day and when I called to follow up where however very helpful).

The room was disgusting. It smelt like dog waste in there. When I first checked in I was assigned room 214. When I told him I had a service animal they said " service dogs go in the same room. That's when they move me to room 101. The blackout curtains were ripped to shreds letting light in. The carpet had pee and poop stains all over it. The upholstery on the furniture was ripped to shreds. The staff came and knocked on my door one evening with the do not disturb sign hanging on the door and lied to us and said they had a complaint about our dog barking during quiet hours which never occurred. I know it didn't occur because I was awake all night. I sleep during the day. They then threatened to throw us out if the dog wouldn't stay quiet. This is a violation of the ADA to begin with. You cannot throw people out of your hotel because of a service animal. They also violated my rights when they took me out of the room I paid for and put me in a lesser room because according to them that is the only room that dogs were allowed to stay in.

The bed and pillows were so uncomfortable that we barely slept. I suppose because there was an event, they raise the price, but I paid luxury price for a motel 6 type facility. Popcorn ceilings with different color spray pained where spots were. The door handle and base were very loose. Lastly, a very strong fragranced air freshener was throughout the whole hotel and is overpowering. My take is to stay somewhere nicer on the other side of the street by the ballpark, and for this hotel to close while renovating. It could be brought backup to par.
- 5/5
Was greeted upon arrival and our room was so clean! The hallway and breakfast area was 78 degrees! Not a huge deal though.
- 5/5
Property was very clean, front desk staff very friendly and efficient, location in walking distance to shopping, dining and entertainment. Would definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
Great stay very friendly staff easy access to stadium and interstate
- 5/5
The hotel is close to Truist Ballpark; close walk but six lanes of traffic both ways is quite a bit. The hotel has a shuttle that runs to the ballpark and we loved that. You have to walk back after the activity but the police are there directing traffic so the experience as a whole was great. The hotel was clean and the staff very helpful
- 5/5
Everything
- 3/5
Indoor Pool was not opened.and this was one reason we booked this hotel
- 2.5/5
Appearance was very clean Asked one staff member for extra cover/towels she told me they were out. I asked another and they got with no problem
- 5/5
Close to the ballpark, comfortable room and friendly staff. Breakfast buffet could be better in selections and cleaner.
- 5/5
Such a great experience. Super close to the ballpark, coco cola Roxy.. able to walk there and around the area was really cool. Breakfast was fantastic, hot waffles, eggs, sausage etc as well as pastry’s, cereals. Everything was clean and smelled good in the common areas. Would definitely come back!
- 0.5/5
Mold smell
- 2/5
Location Noise and staff touching trash and food during breakfast
- 5/5
Spacious Trash cans in the lobby were overflowing the whole time we were there
- 3.5/5
Close to The Battery, where we were going The front desk gave another guest our room & key by mistake. They unlocked the door and seen my family in the room and apologized and backed out? We called the front desk and they didn’t seem too concerned about it.
- 3.5/5
Great price, good location for my purposes!
- 4.5/5
Timing of breakfast
- 5/5
Convenient to Truist Park.
- 2/5
Worried about car in lot. Room clean, but room was dated. Could get room reserved so had to change room type. Door broken on first room.
- 5/5
Breakfast is a little scant. The room was clean, staff was polite and accommodating.
- 4/5
Was very close to Truist Field
- 5/5
I didn't get to enjoy the breakfast because I slept in. Parking was excellent. It was hard to find the entrance to the hotel.
- 5/5
Clean room, breakfast was great, staff was super helpful even when the wifi went down and they couldn't check for my reservation. Got me in an equivalent empty room and I was good to go.
- 2/5
Breakfast was not great just microwaved food. Hotel is pretty run down, cheap repairs and not very well taken care of. Bathroom was not clean when we checked into our room, there was hair in the shower and sink
- 3/5
Room was OK. Not terrible. Not amazing. Pool was not heated. It might say that online. Staff was very distant. My only complaint is the room didn't have a freezer part in the fridge. I pump my milk for my baby so we took our lunch box cooler with ice packs & milk and asked for them to put in their freezer. They said they didn't have one... Yet they serve continental breakfast so I'm SURE they have a freezer. 4 days of extra milk ruined because of this. I've never had a hotel refuse to help in this situation. Also, the room never got cold. Only cool which was hard at times to sleep in. Don't know if it was just our room or if all room AC's were that way.
- 5/5
We did not have breakfast , but everything was wonderful and would stay thee again
- 5/5
Friendly staff and close to the ballpark
- 5/5
👍
- 4/5
Everything was great
- 5/5
Very helpful and professional staff. Nice, large room.
- 3/5
It is clear they are working on renovating and updating this hotel. The room we were put in was nice, but lacking in a few ways. A main issue was that there was so little light in the room. The 2 lamps in our room worked but were far too dim to light the room, and the bathroom light was so dim that I had to use my flashlight when getting ready in the morning. The staff was kind and accomodating though I am sure this will get better as they complete their update.
- 5/5
great staff
- 5/5
Clean. Quick check in process. Area is convenient to a lot of attractions
- 2/5
Didn’t put me in the room I booked and paid for and then didn’t give me back the full refund
- 5/5
Walking distance to the stadium and restaurants.
- 5/5
Very clean room, good breakfast and good customer service. Sometimes hard to fine front desk help.
- 5/5
Excelente servicio por parte del hotel en el desayuno, muy amable y atento desde el inicio. Además, el menú es bastante variado, con buenas opciones para todos los gustos. ¡Una experiencia muy agradable!
- 2/5
This was THE noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in. The traffic is loud, the doors are loud, you can hear through the walls from room to room and from the hallway. And my king bed was slanted to one side significantly. Some if the elevator buttons did not work - we were having to tell each other what worked and what didn’t (there was no signage acknowledging a problem).
- 2/5
Only good thing was the property was close to the stadium.
- 2/5
When I checked in, I was told the room I booked with two queen beds was not available. I was given a room with a king bed and a pullout, but charged the same rate. The morning we checked out, the power went out twice, so the elevators did not work, and we had to carry our luggage down the stairs from the 4th floor.
- 3/5
Cons: Older property, definitely in need of repairs/upgrades. For instance, the cap on the stopper of the bathroom sink drain was entirely detached and water drained slowly. Mattress very uncomfortable. Not much soundproofing.
- 5/5
Close enough to walk to The Battery. Room was comfortable but a little worn
- 4/5
Good options. Management was nice. We got extra towels and toothpaste with no hassle. We overall enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
Good hot breakfast options. Location is nice; close the the highway. Will definitely come back.
- 3/5
Windows are thin. Could here traffic all night. Beds werent comfortable.
- 3/5
pool didn't work the entire time of the visit.
- 3/5
Family room was big, two nice bedrooms and a connecting living space which was great for our family trip. Walkable to the Battery Atlanta and Braves games. Great location! Not very clean and not particularly comfortable. Didn’t smell great, AC was loud, tv remotes didn’t work well, a lot of small things wrong that kind of add up over three nights. All that being said, very convenient and price was good. I’d stay again.
- 5/5
Clean room but AC made some noise like knocking and did not cool very well but overall very good
- 5/5
The lady at the front desk was awesome. Super helpful and friendly. Five stars!!
- 5/5
The beds were wonderful and the breakfast was great!!
- 5/5
Good breakfast. Safe parking. Loved that it was a walkable distance to Atlanta Braves stadium.
- 5/5
Location was amazing, mall super close, tons of food options, right off the highway. Kids loved IFLY which is basically in the parking lot. Highly recommend this property.
- 5/5
Yes
- 3/5
It said free parking.. they did do one car, but made us pay 25 dollars for second car? Also, elevator not working. For the money, there are better options in the area
- 2/5
Elevator was messed up made a horrible noise. It got stuck once mentioned to staff they brushed it off. Definitely not safe
- 5/5
The front desk upgraded us and the room was awesome!! Breakfast was very good. We will definitely stay here again
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Parking is on site. Breakfast is great. Staff is prompt and friendly.
- 5/5
Good place
- 4/5
Clean room, kind staff, good breakfast
- 3/5
Rooms were clean. Barely saw the front desk staff. Thankfully we didn't need them. Overall for the $ it was a good deal.
- 3/5
No está mal , necesita un poco de mantenimiento, la limpieza estuvo bien no use más servicios así que no puedo opinar,
- 2/5
One elevator was out of commission for 4 days. Indoor door pool was ice cold. Breakfast was scanty. Rooms are good size but the decor and accommodations are pretty low standard. Staff was friendly
- 5/5
Clean, just dated. I requested a room change because i didn't want a connecting door, and u a accommodation with no problem.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 2/5
We booked a premium 2 bedroom suite for 2 days. We discovered the AC in one bedroom was broken when we entered the room. After reporting it they took about 2 hours, including 2 calls to the front desk and finally a visit to the front desk where the manager informed me that the AC couldn't be fixed at the time. The MGR agreed that the AC issue could have been avoided as it was broken when we checked in. I asked for another suite and was told that b/c of the next day bookings they couldn't move us to another suite because that would cause them to be over booked. We had to settle on a 2 bed single room with a minimal discount offered for the inconvenience. The room had 2 bath towels available for 3 guests and we were told we had to wait for additional towels when we requested more. Later, we called the front desk multiple times from our cell phones to inquire about breakfast and couldn't get an answer. I tried the hotel phone and discovered that it wasn't connected. There wasn't even a wire to connect it. The TV worked off of 2 remotes. One to turn it on and one to change channels. The Hotel is clean but expect to get what you pay for past that.
- 4/5
However, the only issue I encountered was when my husband and I came back on a Saturday night around 10 something and there was loud music coming from one of the meeting rooms on the first floor. It was so loud, that it was shaking and reverberating the walls of the first floor as we walked to the stairs. Also, there appeared to be a bouncer outside, and I think I may have smelled weed. While it stopped at 11pm, it definitely took away from the overall experience. This is why I give it a four-star review.
- 2/5
The ceiling in the bathroom needed some repair. Also, the tp is kind of a stretch to reach. On the positive, the breakfast buffet is very good and the staff is friendly.
- 3/5
Room was not very clean. It had a strong cigarette smell and the other guests were very loud.
- 4/5
I was glad the room we stayed in had an actual working Ethernet port. Since the WiFi was a bit sluggish. Was here on a business trip.
- 5/5
Clean hotel, comfortable beds, great breakfast.
- 4/5
The vent in our bathroom did not work.
- 5/5
Breakfast was great 10/10
- 5/5
Love it here
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
Great location, restaurants near by
- 1/5
The matress was bent the room was mostly clean. Breakfast was par, the road noise was horrible. The heater ac was very loud. The tv had very limited channels. The bed was the worst! They have free wifi
- 5/5
Friendly staff, good location, and clean rooms
- 1/5
So I stayed here in the shower was either golden hot or cold. I have to move rooms for the second night in the gentlemen refused. There was a serious rattle in the air conditions that kept me up. You hear a lot of highway noise from the room the coffee pot didn’t work. I sleep in the woods. I don’t need much but when you pay to stay somewhere, it’s nice to have the minor amenities working for you. I ended up staying at a different hotel for my second night and lost money.
- 2/5
The mattress had a dip in it, refrigerator didn’t work or just wouldn’t get cool or cold! Only 2 face cloth in bathroom so next morning had track down house keeping to get extra bc front desk wasn’t any help. Only one elevator was working which kept long wait times but breakfast was good!
- 2/5
The rooms were not at advertised in the pictures. The lobby was clean and smelled good. Up stairs was terrible. The smell of weed and food. We booked a Queen room and ended up with double beds. Mold in the bathroom and bleach stains on the carpet.
- 3/5
it was difficult to turn into and the smell was way over powering but the ac worked well
- 5/5
Great place to stay! Clean professional staff.. comfy room!!

- 4/5
Excelente estadía. Desde el check-in hasta el check-out todo fue perfecto. Habitaciones limpias, camas cómodas y un ambiente muy agradable. El personal brinda un servicio excepcional. Muy buena relación calidad-precio. ¡Totalmente recomendado!
- 2/5
The hot water did not work in the sink. We had to wash our hands and face using cold water throughout our stay. Upon arrival, the room was cold and the unit was detached from the thermostat which was on the wall. I asked the front desk staff if we could move to another room and she informed me that she was by herself and other people were checking in for those rooms. We missed an event on that Friday night due to the room being cold and not wanting to shower in a cold room.
- 5/5
Clean room, good location, friendly staff.
- 3/5
Toilet issues.. leaking water all over bathroom. Staff did provide a new room.
- 3/5
Blindsided with a deposit when checking in. TIME IS MONEY! I CAN SHOWER AT HOME IN TEN MINUTES, DUE TO POOR WATER PRESSURE IT TOOK OVER 30 MINUTES. COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FROM MY LAST STAY BACK IN SEPTEMBER. I WAS ASSIGNED A ROOM ON THE FRONT SIDE THIS TIME AND WAS SERENATED AT NIGHT WITH SIRENS AND INTERSTATE 285.
- 5/5
Very comfortable stay. Clean quiet rooms close to everything.
- 4/5
Bath
- 5/5
Staff was nice and check in was easy. Room was clean and very spacious. Breakfast was really good with several options. Will definitely recommend and saty here again.
- 5/5
Very Clean and Comfortable bed
- 4/5
Nice, very clean and good breskfaat
- 1/5
Room is not very clean with hair in the carpet. No slippers, toothpaste, water, or cotton swabs. Mattress is very uncomfortable and AC is not working well. Not many options for breakfast.
- 3/5
The staff was kind and welcoming, the room was clean, but a little dingy. The sad part is the bed REALLY messed up my neck and back. The pillows aren't great at all.
- 4/5
The hotel was moderately clean with nice enough staff, a closed pool and an amazing breakfast.
- 1/5
Hotel is fine but they keep giving me annoying emails two or three every day seriously
- 3/5
The location is phenomenal, short walk to the Battery and there’s a Waffle House, gas station and Wendy’s just a few steps away. Breakfast is pretty solid but the mattresses aren’t very comfortable. Recommend for the price.
- 4/5
Quiet Clean Good people working there. I will be back.
- 4/5
All in all I enjoyed the stay. One elevator was not in use which made the wait time longer than normal. The room was comfy with normal amenities. The continental breakfast was excellent and the hotel is close to the Roxy and Baseball field. I would definitely stay again. The only other issues were the closet door was broken and the hot water for the shower was a bit tricky to get it to start.
- 4/5
clean room. nice staff
- 4/5
The lobby and hotel were clean and in a good area we felt safe with just women traveling. Decent deal for the price.
- 4/5

- 5/5
The room was spacious and clean

Yes room was spotless. The aroma is what was most noticeable smells very good
- 3/5
Avg hotel. Clean but nothing impressive . Loud area with highways nearby .
- 4/5
clean room, and staff
- 5/5
The room was great, the location was great, the breakfast there was great and we enjoyed our stay!
- 5/5
Clean room, breakfast is different every day, hotel staff is friendly. I always feel safe here when I stay by myself or with my husband or a friend. Rates are reasonable.
- 4/5
Good service clean room
- 4/5
The room was clean and neat and tidy. And very spacious. However, the amenities were lacking. No facial tissues, lotion, very limited coffee and packs. Feel like we are in an austerity program.
- 5/5
Nice hotel, clean, well lit, safe for ladies and conveniently located off the interstate. I booked a room for one night. The staff was very accommodating. I will definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again.
- 4/5
But The Room Had An Odor That Wasn't Normal The Beds Looked Clean & the Carpet Was Average
- 5/5
Room was spacious and spotless and the staff was sweet as can be. Close to everything.
- 5/5
Good experience
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff, good location.
- 4/5
Overall a clean and nice place to stay. The pool area need a lil attention and with it being winter, the water was too cold. The pool area should be heated in the winter.
- 3/5
Breakfast is not good.
- 4/5
We stayed there due to being close to the New Years celebration. For the short time we stayed, it was fine, close to everything. The noise level was fine. The only issue was the room service knocking on the door several knocks to ask if we were checking in when I had submitted the form stating check out would be at 11.
- 5/5
The room was clean and check in and check out with seamless.
- 4/5
Everything was great. Clean and room service every day.
- 1/5
The room that was billed as “Premium 2 Bedroom” was dirty when we checked in. There were dirty footprints in the tub, the tub didn’t drain, there was an old strawberry left on the floor by the bed and our 2 year old put his hand in it. The property is old and needs a better cleaning throughout. We left within 30 minutes of arriving, but because we booked through Expedia, it was non refundable. We booked another hotel and left.
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
The breakfast was good. The room needed a little more attention. Ie phone wasn’t working, safe wouldn’t lock and the closet door wouldn’t stay closed. Overall not bad for a 2 night stay. Conveniently located a plus. Front desk did everything to accommodate us.
- 4/5
Breakfast-coffee very weak, need to have choice of more strong coffee. Food was not appetizing at all.
- 1/5
The staff were friendly however. That’s the only good thing I can report.
- 5/5
We love the 2bdr option! Always nice and clean. Great complementary breakfast!
- 1/5
The towels were stained, the remote didn’t work until someone had to come program a new one, the ac/heating unit wasn’t working properly, and 1 of the 2 elevators were out of service (the one that did work, sounded like it was about to fall apart). Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Spend $20-30 more a night and go to one of the other surrounding hotels.
- 5/5
Best hotel in the Battery area!
- 5/5
Good experience overall. Convenient location near food, entertainment, and the highway. Room was clean, hot water and TV worked well. Basic hot breakfast was just what we needed. Hallways have a strong but pleasant scent. Comfortable stay! I would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Breakfast was excellent.
- 5/5
Check-in was amazing and room was clean. Hotel is really nice, close to shopping and restaurants.
- 4/5
The windows weren’t sealed properly, so we could hear the road noise. Otherwise, the service was excellent.
- 1/5
Smelled horrible, sheets and towels did not smell clean. Bed was hard and you could feel all the springs in the mattress. Indoor pool was not running nor heated. Overall it was a sleepless night
- 5/5
Great Room
- 4/5
Room was clean, staff was great. Everything you need in one spot
- 3/5

- 4/5
Breakfast was very limited
- 5/5
Great place very clean and quiet. Excellent if your going to braves game as it offers shuttle direct to the gates .
- 5/5
It was a good experience for the family.
- 5/5
This place is amazing. It’s quite and pleasant. Will definitely be staying there again on my next trip to Atlanta!!
- 5/5
Very convenient location to Coca-Cola Roxy
- 5/5
Great stay! Would return again!
- 5/5
Clean room
- 4/5
Room was nice, check in was smooth and parking was free
- 1/5
A bug fell on my face while I was trying to sleep , and the chair was dirty so was the shower
- 3/5
I had the 2 bedroom suite and the King size bed was extremely uncomfortable. The springs were bad and lumpy. Had a funky musty smell. Other then that, it was good. Thank you.
- 5/5
Had a Blast will be back!
- 5/5
Excelente
- 4/5
Room was comfortable and clean. Elevator a bit iffy.
- 5/5
Nice
- 4/5
Room was clean
- 5/5
Very clean room with lots of space to relax. Great location although traffic from 275 could be heard without the heat or AC running. Very nice breakfast spread and clean eating area and lobby. Definitely worth it compared to high prices of other nearby hotels.
- 5/5
Clean and cozy room
- 4/5
The breakfast selection was limited, but they kept it well stocked. Parking was easy. Staff was kind. The room was clean, the bed was a little uncomfortable though.
- 5/5
All good
- 4/5
Noise from traffic, shower did not get very hot. Overall the room was nice.
- 5/5
Excelente
- 5/5
The room was clean and the staff was nice
- 2/5
We went to two separate rooms on separate floors, and they each smelled of overpowering mold. Disgusting.
- 5/5
Rooms are nice and clean it was my second time staying there and breakfast was really good! I’ll definitely book again when going to the battery
- 3/5
We stayed overnight and it was fine. Room was clean. However, we were approved for a late check out (1pm) which we did pay extra for. The guy at the front desk called our room at noon telling us we had to leave and that they didn’t have rooms available and housekeeping had to get in there. I was very disappointed by the treatment we received in that regard. They had poor planning by approving our late check out while not having rooms available. Will probably not be coming back anytime soon.
- 2/5
Felt the gym on website was miss leading vs what was actually there. The back door from parking lot was broken and any one could come in security laxed. While you had a large door to close the dumpster in it was open all weeken with garbage spilling out from the excess bags on the ground. Towels were old and flimsy, Toilet seat was coming off when we entered the room had to fix myself.
- 5/5
Convinced
- 2/5
Staff was excellent and did their best, but the facility as a whole lacked upkeep. Elevator inspection notice was nearly half a year past its due and only one of the elevators worked. We were in an accessibility room and you could easily see the jagged edges of a rail in the shower where they sawed part of the rail off to make it fit the space. Our sink was held up by something underneath that looked like something you’d hand your closet rack with - I was honestly scared to lean on it. Furniture was dinged and chipped. The hallway was absolutely freezing, like management was trying to save money by not heating the common areas when it was 45 degrees outside.
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay. Clean, staff is kind and accommodating.
- 3/5
The room was very noisy as the hotel sits directly next to the 285 freeway and on ramp which causes on ramp loud engine noise. The hot water at the sink really did not work at all. The room smelled musty as well.
- 5/5
Very close to restaurants and attractions.
- 5/5
Very clean rooms. Friendly staff and in nice location. Easy wall to the ball game. Will stay here again.
- 5/5
Nearby restaurants
- 4/5
Good shopping. Yet a bit outdated of a building
- 5/5
We have stayed here before which is why we stayed again. Easy short walk to The Battery. We didn’t get to have breakfast this time, but we remember it was nice from our last stay. Next time we will request a room that is not on the highway side. It was really loud and noisy from loud cars to emergency vehicles throughout the night. The room was nice, clean and comfortable, though.
- 5/5
Nice stay
- 5/5
staff was very accommodating and friendly. rooms were clean upon check-in, overall a very safe place.
- 5/5
Nice place to stay, close to the Roxy Venue.
- 3/5
The hotel location was convenient to a lot of stores and restaurants.
- 5/5
Easy parking, walking distance to the major attractions including The Battery, Truist Park, Cumberland Mall, and dining. Highly recommend!
- 5/5
Staff was great
- 2/5
There are two main things you look for in a hotel room: 1) a comfy bed, and 2) a hot shower. The bed was great, the shower had zero hot water. The property is in bad need of upgrades and maintenance all the way around (one elevator didn't work, carpet was stained). I think the owners need to re-evaluate their commitment to the property or give it up. Staff was very friendly.
- 5/5
This hotel was easily accessible to the Braves stadium, but not close enough to walk. We drove to the stadium and paid for parking.
- 3/5
Easy to walk to Coca Cola Roxy.
- 5/5
.
- 3/5
Noisy and broken elevator
- 4/5
This was a very lovely hotel. Walking distance to the brave Stadium. Tons of dining options. Gorgeous area down there. Just down the road from the mall. The only thing I would say was the elevator was broke when we were there. We were only on the second floor so it wasn’t that bad for us. I guess it’s not really their fault. But could’ve been fixed in more timely manner.
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Water did not get as hot as we liked for our shower and took a while to warm up.
- 5/5
Here is the best place to watch the baseball game.
- 3/5
Rooms were clean but carpet was very stained.
- 4/5
Overall, the motel was a good deal. I would definitely stay again when heading to the baseball games.
- 5/5
Accommodations and location to the park were great.
- 5/5
Room was clean as well as the hotel. Hotel was near shopping, highway and attractions. Only thing is I wanted was to have more options for breakfast meat add turkey to selection.
- 4/5
The staff was good. The overall cleanliness was below standard. I have found that to be the case with most of the Wyndham hotels.
- 5/5
It is across the street from the Battery! Duh! If you are some knuckleheaded pencil necked geek reviewing this who does not understand the Battery then this question is essentially useless to you. Get a work-sponsored trip to this location for more information. The Battery/Atlanta Braves is the #1 fan experience in all of Major League Baseball.
- 5/5
everyone was nice and knowledgeable. just wish there was a shuttle to pick up after Late braves game
- 2/5
Once we checked in. Everything was fine. Elevator was very slow. Didn’t think nothing of it. Went the the game game home and trash was left everywhere outside walking up to hotel. Leaving the hotel we got Stu king the elevator for 20 minutes. Once the door opened we told the front desk and was laughed at. She said it happened to her already last week. Not very professional from a staff member. Other things were present. If this goes further I will go into detail then.
- 4/5
Had a great time. Great location for the Braves game.
- 4/5
4 Stars
- 5/5
Clean, quality and affordable
- 5/5
Love it
- 4/5
The stay was fine I feel like an upgrade needs to take place as far as the carpet the room smelled like mildew
- 4/5
Staff was a little rude to me, i asked for a 30 min late check out due to over sleeping and was told 'Cobb County Police are on standby, a phone csll away and within two mins would be there to edcort me out' excuse me? I thought the idea of a customer accomodating hotel was to be friendly, not threatening. A simple 'not at this time' would have been a little more respectful i feel like.
- 5/5
We really enjoyed our stay! The rooms were big, the beds were comfy, and the AC worked perfectly. We were in town for the Braves vs Astros game. The hotel has a shuttle that will take you to the game. It was a nice touch. We walked back from each game. It was an easy walk and we felt very safe. The pool was very clean. The hotel offers free parking and free breakfast which is a huge bonus. If you are going to a Braves game and need a hotel. I recommend this one. The staff was very friendly. I asked for few a local recommendations and they were happy to assist.
- 5/5
Would suggest a bit on PM on the elevators.
- 5/5
I left my extra car key in the safe. I called and the front desk told me how to get a USPS prepaid package to them. They sent my key home to me!!! Great service and stay. Always come to this hotel to stay and watch a Braves game!
- 3/5
Just one side table and the AC is very close to the bed very uncomfortable and noisy additionally the area is very noisy My cellphone charger was dismissed because I can’t charged beside me
- 3/5
Hotel needs upgrade. Room smelled horrible.
- 4/5
The room was ok, but it needs to be updated to include more USB ports. There were only two. One on each lamp and they didn't work at all. Very loose connection. The only way we could charge devices was with a block (that we luckily had) plugged into an outlet. Breakfast food was good but the coffee was universally disliked by the coffee drinkers in our group. They said it was really bad coffee. The hotel has added a free shuttle to Truist Park which was fabulous! It's not a bad walk to the stadium but being shuttled was really nice! Kudos for that!
- 5/5
We like staying here because it’s affordable and within walking distance of the battery.
- 3/5
Overall I would stay again in the future.
- 1/5
Very unclean, smelled horrible, had a reservation for 4 only had 3 towels in our room. The carpet had tons of “red” stains on them horrible experience not worth the price!
- 5/5
Parking was easy, great location to the Battery.
- 5/5
The room was clean and no complaints there only complaint was the Waffle House I guess does teenage drag strips on Friday so all you can hear was the cars racing down the street until 4:00 in the morning the connecting room even though we didn't have it as connecting room they made noise till about 3:30 that you could hear as well
- 5/5
It was a busy weekend when we stayed. Staff did their best to accommodate us and hundreds of others. Would definitely stay there again.
- 1/5
Cockroaches in the room, manager refused to refund our stay when we left. We did not want to stay in an infested room, manager only offered a 50% discount.
- 5/5
great location to the Battery at Truist Park. great staff and very good breakfast options
- 1/5
Room smelled like mold. Shower did not work it was taped up, like was broken. We had to move rooms and the next room we got the ac was so loud I couldn't sleep and it also smelled like mold, above the shower was water damage.
- 4/5
Room was loud due to the highway next door. The front desk customer service was awesome, Kenisha did a wonderful job. Great location for Truist field.
- 5/5
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! It was easily walkable to the Battery or we could have taken the shuttle. Great experience!
- 5/5
We had asked for two beds for my adult grandson and myself. We were told by phone that they were not available. To our amazement when we opened the room, there were 2 comfortable queen beds. Room was clean, quiet, well laid out. Really nice property! Really good service! There was even a shuttle to Truist ballpark!
- 5/5
Everyone was super helpful and friendly!
- 2/5
Electric outlet by floor lamp is broken. No night stand on one side of bed inconvenient. Bananas at breakfast should have been thrown away. Way too old. Very noisy due to I 285
- 1/5
Canceled my reservation. Said our credit card was no good. Sent an email instead of contacting us by phone while we were traveling to the hotel. Used the same credit card at another hotel with out any issues. Wondering if they overbooked but won’t use this hotel ever again.
- 5/5
Very clean and quiet. Easy walk to truist park and Roxy theatre. Price was reasonable compared to hotels closer to truist park.
- 3/5
Hotel was walking distance to Truist Park.
- 5/5
Courteous staff and very comfortable beds. Quiet as well.
- 3/5
Under renovation. Dirty. Limited TV reception. Tech to buy items in lobby you can tell was Intended to be convenient, but didn’t work.
- 3/5
The lobby is beautiful and the staff was mostly friendly but the rooms were less than impressive. The first room they had us in smelled AWFUL like wet, moldy carpet. We then realized that the door didn't lock properly. We requested a new room and they were accommodating which was much appreciated. On the way to our new room, we ran into a guest who was given a room that was already occupied!!!!! The new room smelled much better but didn't feel overly clean. The shelves in the bathroom that hold towels were super dusty and we only reveived 3 towels for 5 guests. The a/c was old and very noisy. There were greasy spots on the headboard from a previous guest. It just didn't feel like it was well cleaned at all! There were 2 elevators- 1 was marked not to use and the other felt like it was in major need of maintenance. I chose this hotel based on ratings but as of September 2025 I would not recommend it! I typically don't write reviews but I feel it's only fair to let others know what we experienced.
- 4/5
Only one elevator was in operation in the entire building for guest. That’s totally unacceptable!!!
- 5/5
The computer system was down and the staff continued to manually check people in and were still very cheerful. The property provided shuttle service to The Battery and Truist Park. It was a very nice experience.
- 3/5
Staff was friendly and hotel was close to Truist which was the reason for the stay. But trash bins were overflowing, rooms were stuffy and sparse. It feels like a hotel that has been thinly “redecorated” but really needs a deep clean and remodel. Would not stay here again.
- 3/5
Room was not as clean as we’ve seen in the past. There was a dirty wash cloth on the shower curtain rod.
- 2/5
Room was okay, but neither TV remote worked and the shower leaked. Bed was pretty good. Only one elevator working, and it sounds like it's about to fall apart. Location is the only real positive.
- 5/5
The room was clean and the overall hotel was clean. The staff was pleasant. The room was affordable.
- 5/5
Always clean and courteous
- 5/5
Nice and clean
- 5/5
Great location
- 4/5
All good
- 4/5
I was there for the Braves game August 18. I liked my stay. I was a little surprised of the shower set up(never saw that before). For what I neeed for a one night stay for a birthday trip was perfect.
- 4/5
You need nightstands on BOTH sides of the bed. For those like me, where do you place your CPAP machine? Doubt if I'll select you again.
- 3/5
No maid service, broken toilet seat, broken desk chair. Breakfast was good and bed was comfortable. Convenient and we appreciated shuttle to Truist Park.
- 5/5
Friendly helpful staff! We only had one towel but thet was quickly corrected after we called the desk. The room was clean and comfortable. The shuttle guy was super nice. Breakfast could use a little bit of an upgrade but good location to go to Braves game!
- 5/5
Very clean
- 5/5
Property was very clean, staff were professional and friendly. Will stay there again when attending another Braves game.
- 5/5
Perfect location to find a place to eat, refill gas and get ready for the next morning
- 4/5
Very clean, large rooms. Do not care for the pillows, stiff neck the following day.
- 3/5
Air conditioning unit was awful. Took a whole day of going back and forth to get moved. Won’t be back.
- 5/5
This is a great location if you are visiting the Braves stadium. Shuttle over short walk back. Very clean and comfortable. Don't bother checking in ahead of time though, did not save any time they made us show license and all again when we arrived.
- 5/5
Clean and conveniently located. Friendly staff
- 4/5
It was a nice hotel for our stay.
- 5/5
Comfortable beds.
- 5/5
Courteous staff convenient to The Battery and Truist Park
- 5/5
Just perfect place that was nearby the ballpark and the restaurants
- 5/5
It was great and it was even better. That it's a walking distance to truest park
- 5/5
Great location if going to the Battery
- 5/5
It was an easy process of checking in by pre-checkin. Rooms were nice. Had a great breakfast and it was ope for 3 hours so you didn’t have to get there too early. Walking distance to the ballpark. We were there for a concert which was at the Coca Cola Roxy. Had parking that was not valet. Easy checkout! We had a great stay! Rooms clean and it all looked nice
- 5/5
Close to Truist Park!
- 5/5
Thx
- 4/5
Nice room. Good location. Not the easiest to get into. Vacant lot with rubble view. First day breakfast was very good. Second, the eggs were cold. Waffle House close.
- 5/5
Perfect
- 5/5
Very clean and comfortable. Walking distance to Truist Park.
- 3/5
Close to Braves game, old building, hard beds
- 5/5
Suggest at least coffee, juice.,muffins etc being available until at least 10am. Thanks.....Otherwise, everything was great.
- 2/5
No late checkout option. Poor food preparation. Employees lounging in the dinning area. Room was musty and damp. Even the sheets were damp. Not a hotel i will stay at again.
- 5/5
Conveniet to where we are going
- 4/5
All good
- 3/5
We checked in online ahead of time, per the suggestion from the email stating it would “save time.” However, we still had to wait in line to get our room keys and sign paperwork. Not sure any time was actually saved. The room smelled like wet socks—mildewy carpet, I think. The sink in the bathroom was cracked and visibly patched with peeling spackle. There was no drain cover/plug in the shower—just an open hole. The towels are more like washcloths and you only get one per person per stay unless you specifically ask for more from a room service person. (If you’ve seen Planes, Trains, and Automobiles—imagine the scene at the Braidwood Inn where Steve Martin’s character tries to dry off after his shower with a washcloth.) One of our hand towels was visibly smeared and soiled with a brown, mud-like substance. The continental breakfast of powdered eggs and malt-o-meal cereal was…there. But there is free cucumber water in the lobby if you go early enough!
- 4/5
I liked how welcoming the environment was. There were ants crawling on the desk, and when staff were told, they had another room available. Very appreciative, accommodating and affordable. Will book again.
- 5/5
A great place to stay within walking distance to the Atlanta Braves stadium and things to do around battery park.
- 3/5
Didn’t know the pool was out of order prior to my stay. Don’t remember it being communicated at all. If I knew, I would have booked another hotel. Live and learn. It’s convenient to Truist Park, that’s why we came. It’s a typical hotel, what more could you want?
- 5/5
Great place at a great price!
- 4/5
There was a very musty smell in the room and the carpet seemed dirty. Bedding was white and clean and bathroom was clean as well. Just the musty smell was dissapointing, but I truly think it was in the carpet. The front desk employee was very nice. Thanks.
- 5/5
I can’t remember the lady name at the front desk but she was very nice from the time I spoke with her prior to arrival. She have glasses older lady was nice and helpful she check us in on time. Everything was good breakfast as well.
- 5/5
Great AllStar weekend stay
- 5/5
Easy walk to the ballpark
- 5/5
This is our second time staying here. If going to see the Braves this is very close, great place to stay and not awful on the wallet! The drive to the Aquarium & World of Coke isn't awful from here either.
- 5/5
Great location. Clean and great friendly ataff
- 5/5
Walking distance to Truist Park - enjoyed our stay
- 5/5
VERY NICE AND CLEAN
- 1/5
I stayed here for three nights during All-Star Week. At check-in, I was told there would be a $50 hold—no problem. The next day, I saw the full stay, the $50 hold, and an unexpected $1150 hold taken from my account. When I asked about it, I was told it was a software error and to call my bank to fix it—completely unhelpful. I asked to speak with the manager multiple times and was told she was in meetings with no clear time of availability. After three days of trying, I finally spoke with her. Rather than apologize, she argued and asked me what I wanted them to do. I requested accommodation for the inconvenience, and she agreed to a 15% refund, which I accepted just to end the back-and-forth. On check-out, I discovered the refund was never applied. After more arguing, a front desk clerk finally applied a discount she was authorized to give, but the manager never followed through. Overall, this was a frustrating and unprofessional experience. I won’t stay here again or recommend this hotel. Oh and the hotel smelled of mildew, the bed had zero support, the shower looked like an DIY project and the water pressure was terrible. The elevator was out of service so they only had one working. Every time you walked outside you were hit with a very strong smell of weed.
- 5/5
Great spot. Will stay again
- 5/5
Will stay again.
- 5/5
The experience was great, quick and efficient check in! The distance from the ballpark was a plus, and the staff was very friendly!
- 2/5
The hotel was cute and clean and a great distance to the ballpark which was our reason for staying but those few things make me wary of possibly staying there in the future.
- 5/5
Great value, very clean would stay again
- 1/5
For the price of a suite it was very dissatisfying! The furniture was old, the bathroom shower had a hole in the ceiling that looked to had multiple patches. The phone in the room did not work. Also, I was sent a message to check out with options to check out late for an additional price. I selected the 1 pm check out time and never got a response. I was abruptly awakened by the cleaning staff and when I called the desk, the front desk clerk advised me they do not honor the 1 pm check out. Needless to say it became a rush to get out at that point. I had far greater expectations for the price I paid!
- 5/5
Great place to stay
- 4/5
Staff ver helpful and friendly
- 5/5
Short walk to Truist Ball Park. Comfortable beds and clean rooms.
- 3/5
Very convenient to the ball park. Staff was friendly. It was a little noisy but overall not a bad stay. Breakfast was good and had a variety of items to choose from.
- 5/5
Would definitely be back
- 5/5
Great place for braves game
- 4/5
Property was convenient to what i needed. Was close to busy highway, so was not quiet. Room was comfortable and staff was nice.
- 5/5
Great!
- 4/5
Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Of the 6 different accommodations I had booked for this trip, the breakfast at this location was the least impressive. Bread was stale and pastry items were also stale. Housekeeping was good and restocked daily. Rooms and public areas very clean.
- 5/5
Amazing
- 4/5
Across the road from the battery and Truist Park. Nice and clean. Free shuttle to the game.
- 3/5
Felt like a run down low budget hotel that was trying to be fancy
- 5/5
Thank you!
- 5/5
Everything is within walking distance. Facilities are clean. Checking in and out was seamless.
- 4/5
Great place to stay for the braves game 15 minute walk over to the ballpark
- 3/5
This property looked very luxurious. The room was spacious and as this stay was a couple weeks ago, i don’t remember much. all i remember is i requested a crib and i got the feeling the attendant couldn’t be bothered to actually check if one was available. i also asked for sheets for the pull out bed since he never got back to me on the crib, and said he’d have to check and see if there were spare sheets like it was a chore.
- 3/5
Beds are very uncomfortable
- 4/5
The stay was very pleasant. The only issue I experience was these kids running up and down the hallways knocking on doors in the middle of the night
- 5/5
Staff was very professional and nice. Lobby and breakfast area nice. Breakfast was nice. A few choices and good coffee. Room was comfortable and quiet. Very close to The Battery. Will come again
- 2/5
For $350 a night they could afford larger TV in room and remote that actually changed volume. Hot water for shower - check room for this before you unpack.
- 1/5
When I arrived in the room, I noticed that the room safe was locked. I called down to ask if the manager could open the safe for me. He proceeded to give me the master code over the phone and told me how to unlock the safe. When I told him that would allow me to open any safe, or anyone to open my safe he said it was OK because they didn't give out the code. When I said that he just gave the code to me, he said that was only because he was busy. I decided I could not stay in a hotel that had such poor security procedures. When I checked out the next morning (2 days early) they apologized and said I would get a refund. I have not received a refund.
- 5/5
I had amazing stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean, the bed was very comfortable. The price was 20-30 cheaper a night than other hotels in the area. The location was perfect 10 minute walk to Truist park. 10 Minute walk to Cumberland mall.
- 5/5
Everything was easy and convenient
- 5/5
Only complaint is that all faucets didn’t work correctly. Couldn’t find hot water. Very nice place other than that. Clean and comfortable. Great staff at front desk.
- 5/5
I always visit!
- 4/5
Rooms were excellent! Clean and comfortable. Thank you.
- 1/5
I made reservations april 1st for may 14th. Recieved 2 emails the day before my stay about having reservations and arrival instructions. When i get there they cant find my reservations at all and after them telling me they had another room and waiting 1.5 hours they tell me its all occupied.
- 5/5
Great place to stay. Would definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
Property was close to the ballpark, a quick 10 minute walk. But if you are planning on heading to downtown Atlanta, it's a long transit ride. You can take a 20 minute Uber but the rates fluctuate a lot and can get very high. Hotel itself was clean, however a room cleaning during our stay would have been nice. Buffet was pretty basic but good to have the option.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 2/5
Property looks nice from a distance but has deficiencies up close. We rented two rooms both double queens. Pros: Pump shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided. Refrigerator and microwave were clean. Drains clean. Under window heaters/air conditioner worked well. Multiple fluffy pillows. In-door pool. Good water pressure and water temperature. Cons: Ant infestation and cockroaches in one room. Beds were not soft but felt hollow. When sitting on the side, the beds bent into a v-shape. Microwave in one room was so old it had a turn dial timer. Easy open doors for kids to easily "escape" from the room. While checking in, a 2 year-old was found wandering by himself. Finally, staff issues. They did not give us both room keys. They did not see the two rooms. When asked to move for cockroaches, they wanted a photo. They begrudgingly offered another room, which we definitely took after finding the ant infestation. We took a video for them. If asked, I would recommend finding another hotel. Price and location were not worth it.
- 3/5
The walls in the room seemed dirty with some black marks and had to ask for new bed sheets due to the ones on the bed having stains.
- 5/5
I would like to mention the girl who works at the front desk, Kenesha. She went above and beyond to help us. We had a very early morning flight and we were exhausted when we got to the Wingate. Kenesha promised us that she would call us as soon as a room became avaliable. And she did. We are so appreciative. Its so nice to see someone who offers such great customer service. Thank you Kenesha!

The front desk clerks, upon arrival, were not welcoming. The bathtub drain plug was pulled out, and hair was all gathered in it. There was no adjustment of the water temperature either. Breakfast food was not replenished 20 minutes to the end of the breakfast
- 5/5
Great location and staff
- 5/5
Good value for the price. We are in our 70's, so Truist Park is a bit of a stretch to be walkable. It is also a bit hard to access in traffic. I was disappointed that breakfast closed early (9AM) compared to most other hotels. My fault for not noting the time. I would stay here again.
