Reviews
The hotel staff is consistently praised for their friendliness and helpfulness. However, the hotel's location is frequently criticized for being unsafe and surrounded by homeless people. The hotel's amenities, particularly the elevators and air conditioning, are often reported as malfunctioning or inadequate. The rooms are generally described as clean and spacious, but there are occasional complaints about comfort and cleanliness.

I’d rather reviews and still showed up all tiles barely worked. Staff seemed nice until you needed a sub phones in room did not work pull out. Couch was not existed. Bathroom looked like it was original from the 1900s. Breakfast was one step below a TV dinner.
- 1/5
Overall, would not recommend this hotel to anyone, run down.
- 5/5
The front desk staff was GREAT! We stayed there for a concert and they had cold water bottles for guests and some snacks available for purchase.
- 3/5
The carpet has a very wet and mildew smell to them upon entering the room. The halls are not adequately ventilated so it is extremely warm as you await an elevator. The iron did not work in our room in spite of using different outlets. The toilet runs after flushing and there is not enough pressure nor hot water in the showers. I addressed the hot water concerns to the staff to which one of them made a comment on my appearance stating that he “likes what he sees”. I did not find that humorous or professional at the time that I am wanting the concerns about my experience to be taken seriously. The staff was able to solve the issue with the toilet however the water remained lukewarm. I spoke with other customers in passing and they confirmed the issues with their water pressure and temperature as well. I really want to enjoy my stay however I was willing to cancel the remainder of it and go home a day early. I truly don’t consider myself a complainer or problematic but I must let someone know about this experience. It is highly unlikely that I will book again or recommend.
- 1/5
Room 611 had no a/c, tv’s don’t work in any room because the cut off every 7-10 minutes then take 7-10 mins to cut back on, mold in new room 1102, only 1 elevator works, stains on floor and let out bed in 611, breakfast was horrible. DO NOT STAY HERE.
- 4/5
The staff was truly the highlight of this stay. Everyone is caring and wants to help with your needs to make your stay the best it could be. They were painting and getting ready for the World Cup. Our bed was comfortable. The sofa was in bad shape and sagged in the middle. And there was leftover cleaner one the table most likely from paint getting on it. The cabinets were in rough shape and you could see the wood from damage. The location is convenient. And I would Uber and not walk. I would give this another chance for sure because of the staff.
- 2/5
I stayed there for 3 nights and the room was never cleaned .
- 4/5
It was actually a very nice place for the price downtown plus a $55 valet parking
- 3/5
That staff, super friendly and accommodating and my room was clean. However the water pressure didn't work if you added the hot water. Also I could hear everything my neighbors were doing, the people down the hall. Also a homeless man was banging on dome door around 3am, saying "let me in" and I could hear him from the 5th floor and none of the staff called the police or 9-11. I was too exhausted from a trade show, but someone in the lobby should have taken action...
- 4/5
Hotel and staff were nice. The surrounding area where it's located is really stretch.
- 5/5
Room is great size for the location and Price, if you're seeing a concert at the Masquerade this is the BEST place to stay at, it's literally RIGHT around the corner
- 2/5
Completely unsafe area . Chose the hotel because it said a short walk to the arena for the concert I brought my 15 year old granddaughter to . No way we could walk because it was completely unsafe and the check in lady told us so . The hotel was nice on the inside but very bad part of town .
- 5/5
The staff was amazing!!!!!!! Friendly, helpful, courteous. We did a issue with the hot water but the maintenance staff came right away to fix the issue.
- 5/5
Peaceful, quiet. Great location. Extremely comfortable.
- 4/5
My main issue is that I did not have hot water to shower. I spike to the front desk person who was polite and help. She sent someone to look at it while I was out, however the issue was never corrected. So, I had to shower all weekend in cold water.

The shower did not drain. Water went all over the place so we were not able to shower. The television kept going no signal due to the internet not working. This happened more than 10 times each night.

I don’t know where to start. We were greeted by a roach at the time of check in. The rooms smelled like air fresheners and mildew. The water pressure was low, and the water would not get hot/warm. Valet parking is $55/night. They left our key in the car unattended. There was an active construction sight who woke us up at 7 in the morning. The stay was horrible, we forfeit two nights & the staff, Stephanie advised we couldn’t get our money back. Stay away from this hell hole. It’s not worth your peace.
- 4/5
Room was clean, bed was comfortable, staff was friendly, valet service was quick bathroom lighting was not the best for trying to get ready for an evening concert and a little dated, but it was very clean

- 5/5
Was clean and centrally located.

Rooms are really clean
- 5/5
The staff is incredible. They made me feel like I was an Atlanta native. Very helpful and resourceful when I was in search of places to go near the hotel for food and drinks, even advised me on where not to go. The breakfast was delicious too
- 5/5
How close it was to the venue for our concert Nothing negative to say about the property at all, just the fact the city is doing so much work and blocks off all entry points to the hotel.
- 3/5
Location of the hotel was very close to the location of the event (The Masquerade). The valet and initial check in staff were very kind and helpful. Coming in from another state, I was completely unaware of all of the construction going on, preventing us from getting to the hotel and having to ask construction crews how to get where we needed to go. The A/C didn't work in the lobby, so having to stand there for 10-15 min in an extremely stuffy room with sweat rolling down my back was not the best. The room itself felt very damp the entire time. The toilet didn't flush properly. The woman who did my check out was not kind or helpful. I thought I had left something in my room and instead of telling me she needed to see my ID (which was in my car due to packing up to leave), she came across as rude. She asked me when my checkout time was since I didn't give her my ID. I told her my checkout day was Saturday (5/30) and she never asked for my ID. She then looked at me and said "then I need your ID." Really not the best way to start a morning in thinking I've lost something valuable and dealing with a staff member that didn't seem to give a shit. All she did was give a room key so I could look in the room and didn't offer anything more. The woman working security at the time was very kind and helpful to me though. She offered to come up with me and help me look and took my information. Luckily, I did find what I had lost!

Perfect for what we needed. Room was clean and comfy.
- 4.5/5
Everything was comfortable, clean and the staff were great! We stayed on the 14th floor and my water never got warm enough to shower. It felt like I took an ice bath! I didn't like someone knocking on my door at 10:15 telling me I needed to leave and checkout so they could clean my room. Checkout is at 11 so they should have been patient and gave me time to get out of there. The sausage at breakfast was also gross. Not a fan of chicken sausage at all! The rest was great!

It was good. The elevator was weird.

I like the room size and the amenities within the hotel such as the included breakfast. The staff was fairly unprofessional at times. I was ignored at the front desk for about 10-15 minutes with a line behind me, then there were secret incidental fees. Not to mention they were unstaffed and it showed. There was only one person stocking breakfast, which led to them always being agitated that the people staying there were “eating all the food”, as if we didn’t pay for it. The location is also not the best place in town. A nightclub down the street, construction on the other side, and many people who partake in extracurricular activities resulting in homelessness. Elevators were also exceptionally scary. One wouldn’t leave the first floor sometimes and the other? The door wouldn’t open all the way.

Was in town for a convention. Spacious room and quiet. Staff was very friendly. And shower had good water pressure.
- 4/5
Good place to stay for the days I booked staff was nice and helpful only thing is that the wifi tended to be slow on almost every device even the tvs
- 1/5
The customer service is abysmal from the very moment you arrive at the front desk. They fail to mention that they do not have their own parking facilities, forcing you to pay an additional $55 for parking elsewhere. Furthermore, breakfast closes earlier than scheduled; when you arrive, you are treated rudely and told that it has already closed and that nothing is left. Staying at this hotel was a very poor experience; I do not recommend it.
- 3/5
Unfortunately, the room itself was disappointing. Room 1505 had a strong old, packed-down smell that made the stay uncomfortable. The toilet handle was broken, so you had to constantly play with it just to get the toilet to flush properly. It also took forever for the air conditioning to start working, and the hallways were extremely hot the entire time. While we appreciated the great customer service and convenient location, the condition of the room and overall comfort issues mean we probably would not choose to stay here again.
- 3/5
clean room and helpful staff! the tvs always cut out and the elevators went down at least twice a day though
- 2.5/5
They didn’t tell me about the $400 deposit
- 2.5/5
The room was actually good and the couch bed was actually really comfortable. The lack of staffing at the front desk was disappointing. Everything was clean but I believe there was a stain on the bed sheets left behind when we first arrived it was strange. Tv would occasionally turn off on its on when it was in use and just turn back on whenever it would want to so that was a bit tedious.

Exceptional
- 3/5
Check in staff weren't there for a minute but was eventually able to check in
- 2/5
First I will say the location was great for where i needed to go while in Atlanta. However, some of the things that were annoying. 1. The elevator door. In order for it to close and move, it had to be pushed outward so the motor would engage. 2. My bathroom lighting was very dim. Just lights around the bathroom mirror but not bright at all. 3. No decent water pressure in the shower. 4. While eating breakfast, the breakfast attendant cut out the lights and people were still in there eating.
- 3.5/5
The staff were very helpful and nice. The location was so convenient to explore the downtown area. I didn’t like the fact that I had to not only pay for the room, parking, and a deposit which was too much.
- 2/5
Severely disappointed. The only thing that made me stay tonight was the staff. Roderick was very friendly, accommodating, and he was rolling with the punches all night to make sure the guests were happy. The room was full of bugs and condoms. The TVs weren’t connected, the room I paid for wasn’t available. The window view I had was filled with Handprints from the night before and the parking is at your own risk but at no fault of the hotel. The sketchy homeless or the sketchy locals will surely make sure there is nothing valuable left in your vehicle. Underground Atlanta is not somewhere to go.
- 4/5
I like that it was close to the venue we were attending.
- 1/5
The location also felt unsafe, especially at night, and there was constant noise everywhere. Even though I reserved a room on the 15th floor, I could still hear loud noises throughout the night. Another major issue was parking. There was no free parking available, only valet parking, and the prices they charge are unreasonable and extremely expensive. Overall, the stay was stressful, uncomfortable, and not worth the money.
- 3/5
Breakfast was terrible. Got stuck in the elevator. Check in (man) never broke stare with computer feeling cold when arriving at hotel. Room was great. Water was cold. Trying something else next time.
- 5/5
Room was clean, nice. Staff was great. Parking was high and only valet. Elevator was slow at times and got stuck sometimes.
- 4/5
Clean & spacious room. Really nice staff. WiFi was not so great, though. And, one of the elevators was not functioning properly.
- 5/5
Our stay was very comfortable and pleasant. Huge shout out to Ms.Shirley who had the complimentary breakfast on point each day that we stayed. She was very cheerful and greeted each person that walked through the door with love and a big smile. She’s an amazing hostess and great cook. Can’t wait until we visit The A again and will definitely book our stay here again without hesitation.
- 1/5
The room was very outdated—the bench in the bedroom was taped up instead of being properly replaced. The toilet clogged repeatedly, and I had to request a plunger. The elevator barely worked; maintenance had to bang on it just to get the doors open, so I ended up taking the stairs to my room every day. On the first night, the TV in the front area didn’t work and had to be replaced. The complimentary breakfast was also very disappointing. Additionally, there were no safety locks on the room doors like you would expect at a standard hotel. Overall, I would not stay at this location again. There were also too many homeless individuals and people using drugs around the area, which made the environment feel unsafe.

This is a wonderful historic hotel with an exceptional breakfast. The room was spacious with a good view. The area was walkable. Would have enjoyed seeing more stores and restaurants nearby.
- 4/5
Me and my 4 friends stayed here recently and had a great experience. Rooms were nicely sized and clean throughout. Breakfast was good most mornings. The staff was very friendly. All in all I would recommend this hotel for younger people looking for walking distance to most downtown Atlanta things.
- 5/5
The rooms were clean and comfortable and the location is close to all of the downtown attractions definitely recommend
- 5/5
Essential location with easy access to some restaurants
- 2/5
In downtown and close to a lot of things Not stroller friendly, you will get stuck in the elevator I did twice, room felt like a shoe box, toilet barely worked, surrounding area is gross, must pay to park, pictures are extremely deceiving
- 3/5
Only parking option is valet at $55 a night.
- 4/5
I felt well taken care of by staff, always a disposition to assist. Loved the included breakfast and the accessibility for the activities we had planned
- 1/5
Way overpriced. $80 a night incidental fee, $55 a night valet parking. Property was not nice enough to justify the price and our room was not in great condition. The toilet was cracked, which I did not see until I cut my finger open when I tried to flush.
- 5/5

Terrible customer service
- 4/5
Overall, our stay at this hotel was ok. I wish I had known ahead of time that parking was only available through valet at $55.00 per day. Also, unfortunately, there was a huge tequila festival, so there was a ton of foot traffic, and it was a bit noisy. Thankfully, they put us on the opposite side of the hotel, which helped. Probably would not stay here again, although not so much the hotel, just more the location.
- 2/5
Supposed to clean room every 3rd day and that did not happen. We had to empty the trash cans, get more toilet paper and towels. TV in living area did not work and the large wall vent fell off the wall. The room had a musty smell also. The staff was very friendly.
- 5/5
The breakfast was absolutely great! The property was quiet and the rooms we super clean and maintained. The tv in the livingroom had bad coloring but that was minor.

The location was excellent , walking distance to main shops and business. It included the breakfast on the 2nd floor. About one block walking distance to Marta subway/train station. The carpet in the room was ok . I just don’t like carpet in hotels in general . The elevator was not working correctly. The surrounding area , (neighborhood)had homeless people around.

The Guy working the night we went to check in was so unprofessional and insensitive and they ft being broken he told us it had been broken for three weeks. We'll i booked two weeks ago and I told that I requested a accessible room. Then asked me if I booked though a third-party I said why does it matter he that thought booking don't get looked at until arrived so we have to refund you every thing else was booked so we were on the street in wheelchairs all night worse vacation ever.

Hotel was not as advertised, especially the room. The curtain rod was broken and left in the corner of the room for me to find. The tables were not clean as well as the sheets and pillow cases. The front desk agent should also pay close attention when handling guest credit/ debit card, seeing that my card was authorized for another room that was not mine.

Stayed here for the first

Our main issue was the breakfast was unavailable both days we stayed (which was one of the reasons I picked this hotel). We also needed a refresh on supplies the second night but were told to come downstairs to grab them. And we had a couple negative interactions with staff. The room was pretty clean and the bed was comfortable. Air conditioning didn’t blow very cool. Overall we wouldn’t stay here again.
- 5/5
We were greeted by the most friendly and helpful night clerk. He made sure we knew how to make the most of our time in Atlanta. Our room was very clean and well maintained. I would 100% return to this Hotel !
- 1.5/5
It was close to our concert venue. The breakfast was alright. The view was alright. The staff were dismissive. I called the front desk to ask about our room before we arrived. The phone rang for 6 minutes and then, when it was answered, I heard a sigh and was hung up on. I called and it took another 6 minutes for them to answer. We finally get to the room. The plug behind the tv in the first room doesn't work. The table beside the couch is chipped. There was a thing of cups in a bag beside the mini fridge and they were somehow dirty?? The pillows were not the best either and the soap, body wash, and shampoo smelled awful. 3/10 I will not be staying here again. It was much too expensive for the quality.

The property was close to the train station so it was easy to get there. Also, the staff was really welcoming and kind to us, they even let us leave our luggage there when we checked out so we could keep enjoying our day.

The hotel lobby and elevators were clean inside. The FIRST ROOM they tried to put us in was one that still wasn’t remodeled and smelt moldy…Great view tho. They hotel lobby STAFF was SOO nice and accommodating that they put me in a bigger better cleaner room. Thank you guys! Yall were very helpful and accommodating. #1. Be mindful what time you show up. Me and my 12 year old pulled up at 10PM to a bunch of homies hanging around out front of the hotel where the valet signs are. #2 there’s a drug rehab across the street and I think some of the people live in this hotel or something. #3 take a full video of your room in detail. Just to protect yourself. The contractor that’s doing repairs on the place seemed to be rushing on certain things. You don’t want to be held liable if something breaks that shouldn’t break, AND it’s not your fault. *it is a great bang for the buck if your not bougie and for a short stay. It’s a decent price* We had a great time! It’s close to the masquerade which is where Me and my son visited to see a concert. during the day we checked out stuff in the surrounding areas and had a great time.

Here is honest review. Pricing matches the hotel quality. This ownership of this hotel needs to put money into this hotel as it sees like this neighborhood is up and coming. The staff is top class 5 star and can only provide great customer service for th hotel they are given. Only 1 of the two elevators is working and yes at times you are waiting for a while. The cleanliness needs attention and more so because the hotel is older so needs more work and attention. We stayed for a few days as it was a great Expedia bundle and I’m ok as the pricing was what I got. It’s walking distance to a lot of places, there is a rehab center on the same block but we didn’t encounter any issues. The breakfast was good when it was stocked but for the 3 days we were there it was tough to keep up since only 1 worker. They were busy hotel for the USA soccer game and should have been staffed better but literally all the staff I encountered from front desk, maintenance, valet, breakfast area where wonderful and great customer service. With some inventing this hotel could be amazing as has a ton of character, pictures can be a bit deceiving as were taken from a while ago for sure. Give your amazing staff a more upgraded hotel so they can get 4-5 star reviews instead of 2-3 stars or you will lose them to other newer updated hotels
- 4/5
The popular Underground was closed. I assume because there is some sort of upgrading to the nearby train station in progress. There was a lot of other construction going on nearby also. Maybe when it's all over and things open back up it will be livelier especially at night. The staff were all courteous and accommodating. The free breakfast was basic, fruit, cereal, eggs sausages waffles, coffee and juice. if the area gets livelier and the train station and underground opens up, I will stay at that hotel again.
- 1.5/5
The breakfast had a nice selection and the staff was very nice. That is the only good thing about this hotel Room smelled like mildew and mold. rooms were unsafe as almost all locks were broken. Water was not hot. Beds were not comfortable..rooms were super hot no matter what the thermostat was on. overall the smells were the worst. The elevator had only one working which was very inconvenient.. junkies and homeless everywhere outside. Valet was confusing and expensive.

Clean room, the staff was so nice and helpful especially Roderick. Beautiful hotel that i will most definitely book with again
- 4/5
Staff was helpful and friendly. Elevator is janky and only one works. That made me a bit nervous. Room was very clean. Bed was comfy. No complaints at all in that area. Amenities were stocked, etc. If you want food late, you have to use Uber Eats or Door Dash because the hotel is locked (key access only) except to those known delivery services.

Bugs in the room not really clean nice people but I wouldn’t recommend staying there at all the tv don’t work at all
- 4/5
Parking is pretty much valet only, but that was fine with me. Mel in the breakfast area was awesome at keeping it clean and stocked. Love the location. So many things to do nearby.
- 3/5
The $80 a day deposit and $55 a day for valet parking was unexpected.
- 3.5/5
Loved the location The elevators didn’t always work
- 4/5
Not the worst hotel I’ve stayed in BY FAR. Thank you!
- 4/5
It was convenient.
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Good price at a hotel really easy to get to from the airport.
- 5/5
Awesome place to stay! Great rooms, great staff, and a wonderful experience! I will be returning with my family!
- 4/5
Couch was old and seated out Microwave door was not always working Bed was good and comfortable Bathroom and other rooms clean and ok
- 5/5
This was a good, affordable stay. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful.
- 4/5
Very clean. Friendly and nice staff
- 3/5
The hotel has a lot of homeless people around but inside is nice. The room was a good size & bed was really comfortable. The elevators kept locking people in @ not working properly which was annoying.
- 4/5
Unexpected expenses for parking, room smelled like cigarettes, toilet issues.
- 3.5/5
The view
- 5/5
I just wish they would mention in the Expedia listing about the $80 a night incidental hold for your stay. It’s listed at the check in counter and they did send me messages on Expedia but I never checked them until after I arrived. I was refunded a few days later as promised. I would definitely stay there again if I return to Atlanta. 👍
- 5/5
The parking . Need better places to park and not have to pay. It’s ridiculous.
- 3/5
Cons: Surrounding area under construction, and lots of vagrant individuals in the area. If you can carry yourself, youll be fine, but keep.your head on a swivel. Inside, elevator was acting up, so I had to take the stairs, more than twice. Once breakfast ended at 930, we were rushed out of the dining area before we were able to finish our meal.
- 4/5
We had a pleasant stay, in spite of a few glitches. The breakfast area seemed understaffed and they were having trouble with the elevators. The front desk people were really kind and helpful, though. The hotel is in a great location for what we had planned.
- 5/5
I love everything ...Thank so much
- 2/5
The property was close to a lot of popular venues. The elevator was broken, which cause us to take the stairs. The breakfast was never ready on time for the three days we stayed. Valet took a long time to get our car. Also the neighborhood wasn't the best.
- 3.5/5
Nice
- 4/5
Did notvuse the gym but it looked decent. No pool
- 2/5
Cigarette Burns all over, leaking curling. Only one elevator worked. Awful experience. No parking unless you’re Rich
- 4.5/5
The staff were nice- especially the valet people. They were ridiculously helpful and kind. The room was clean and spacious. The views were great. The toilet didn’t flush great. The location was close enough to walk to the Olympic park and Mercedes Benz stadium, which is where our events were located. However- it was a rougher area near the hotel. I hadn’t been to downtown Atlanta in years and didn’t realize the underground Atlanta area is very different from the 90s- early 2000s. I was a woman alone with 2 small boys and we saw people smoking crack pipes, peeing on walls, openly buying drugs. It was stressful and sad but aside from being asked for money, nobody bothered us.
- 4/5
workers not very attentive, and the elevator only worked about half the time
- 4/5
Clean and staff was friendly. I would definitely recommend.
- 4/5
They only have a valet option and its $55/ day.
- 3/5
Breakfast was fine but would consistently be out of major items like eggs or oatmeal for long periods of time
- 5/5
The rooms were large and comfortable. Hotel staff was wonderful
- 3/5
Parking is expensive. Staff is not helpful. Breakfast is good
- 2/5
#1 the elevator doesn't work! There are 2 elevators, 1 is not working at all, and the other need major maintenance. While it operators it gets stuck, I mean literally stuck! some one has to "push" the door closed in order for it to operate! Yikes, what to do if you are on the top floors (17) if it breaks down! Are you going to actually have to climb 17 stories to get to your room! Additionally, most everything is boarded up or not working in the nearby area. You will have to walk several blocks to get to anything which is sketchy! You best have an alarm and/or strong stomach walking the area. There are panhandlers and trash on the side walk areas. while this isn't the hotels fault, it definitely would not be my next pick given the price.
- 5/5
Muy bien para el precio
- 2/5
Room was for 3, sofa bed was not made up nor was there extra bedding in the room
- 3/5
Elevator was not working
- 5/5
Excellent staff
- 3/5
Both tv's were not working upon arrival we had to get help from maintenance man which resulted in switching rooms. Shampoo bottle still had the hair of the previous person around it. Outside of those two things the visit was okay for one night.
- 3/5
Elevator issues pretty bad, many times I used the stairs because Elevator wasn't working properly
- 1/5
Don't reserve
- 4/5
is a good place to stay, the workers are nice, the hotel is clean, i definitely will stay again
- 4/5
Clean room, good AC.
- 2/5
Room was out dated and was not clean. Staff was not welcoming. Would not stay again.
- 4/5
The Hotel is nice but when I went to check in I had to wait almost an hour for my room. The front desk said they were short staffed and didn’t have rooms ready. Then the elevator dint work properly. One of the staff had to push on the door to make it work every time someone was going up. Everything else was fine. Room was nice. Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly.
- 3/5
I checked in on a Sunday evening and was told breakfast ends at 10am. When my wife and I went to breakfast Monday morning at 9:30am, we were told loudly by the staff that breakfast closed at 9:30am. I told her the desk clerk told us it ended at 10am. She said it closes at 10am on weekends; weekdays, they close at 9:30. So wrong information from the desk clerk and very rude the way the staff told us it was closed. She was like scolding us for coming at 9:30 when it ended at 9:30. It was very unprofessional and rude. Even though we didn’t eat breakfast there, that incident left a bad taste in my mouth. Won’t be back. I’ll spend my hard earned money else where.
- 2/5
It was dingy hotel. Bed sucked.
- 3/5
A really nice and affordable stay but elevator wasn’t working properly ! I walk 7 flights of stairs the whole stay really not to happy about that
- 3/5
No parking at the facility. Elevator was terrible.
- 4/5
The staff was amazing! Very helpful and friendly. The room was nice and comfortable. Only problem was elevators: one not working and other not working well from Lobby. Despite that, we enjoyed our stay!!
- 3/5
The location made you feel unsafe due to all the drug dealers and homeless people around the front of the hotel.
- 3/5
Room size and location No quite time limits was not able to get sleep called desk they said occupants paid to be there also
- 5/5
The hotel was
- 4/5
Spacious an comfortable room The "kitchenette" is really just a fridge+microwave, some other hotels use the same term for a more functional setup with basic silverware. Elevators are extremely slow.
- 4/5
Hotel was great for our purposes to watch the US men’s soccer match. Breakfast was great and the staff were super friendly. Only real issue was waiting for the elevator to get to our room. The rest was perfect!
- 5/5
Staff was great. Our tv in the room didn’t work and they tried to fix it quickly. Parking was okay. The guy that was working valet our last day almost hit my car when my husband was coming around to pick us up. He was pretty impatient at the light with another guest vehicle. So if you use valet be careful. In my opinion I wouldn’t let them drive my car seeing how he was driving. Paying $55 for valet you’d think he’d be more careful.
- 5/5
Great experience!
- 3/5
Mid to fair. The parking attendants were kind. The front desk was helpful. The room was older. I had to keep entering my Netflix code when the tv shut off. Parking was helpful. Area is walkable and extremely convenient location.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 5/5
Great time
- 4/5
Breakfast was hot and decent.
- 5/5
Everything was clean
- 3/5
Breakfast wasn’t refilled timely, so we couldn’t find breakfast most of the time. They had only one elevator working throughout our stay leading to excessive delays or having to take the stairs.
- 5/5
Great and convenient
- 2/5
I arrived at 8:30 pm and found the front desk unattended. A staff member told me the check-in person had gone out for dinner. The receptionist returned after 20 minutes without offering any apology, behaving as if nothing had happened. The other staff members were very nice. The elevator button was not functioning properly and sometimes you have to press multiple times. The room was spacious for the price, but the bathtub drain was clogged and drained very slowly.
- 3/5
This place looks nice from the photos, but it's not in the best area, and the quality is cheap, with dirty rooms and everything looking like it's hanging on by a thread.
- 4/5
My stay was excellent. Like many, I'm sure, the reviews were mixed when I booked. Understandably, this is an older property with some incredibly nice people and modern upgrades. Like any downtown urban area in America, you'll encounter all kinds of people. It's no different than LA, Denver, New York, etc. Just know that you're getting a good deal for a great price. The breakfast was really nice — cereal bar, fruit, breads, hot breakfast potatoes, chicken and pork sausage, eggs, yogurt, and a waffle bar. Shirley was a shining star in there. Chris at the front desk was amazing. The people and staff here really shine. The room had some signs of wear, but was recently updated, very spacious with a living room, separate bedroom, mini kitchenette, large clean bathroom, and the shower pressure was just about the best I've ever experienced. The elevator was slow and often busy, but I was lucky and it always worked out. Great for central downtown location, price was unbeatable, and the security was good. If I'm back in Atlanta (downtown), I would definitely consider staying there again. Thank you.
- 5/5
It was a great stay. Great location and super friendly staff
- 5/5
I was pleased withmy stay the only drawback 1 of the elevators was not working
- 5/5
Everything was good and the restaurant workers were very nice
- 4/5
Everyone we saw was very kind and diligent. The room was nice and spacious and clean Only complaint was that only 1 elevator worked and parking can be tricky and or expensive. But the staff and room were great.
- 5/5
Room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were amazing. The valet guys are very courteous and helpful.
- 4/5
Hotel stay was great! Breakfast every morning, staff was friendly and room was clean. The only thing is the night club down the street on saturday night blaring music until 3 AM - that has to violate a noise ordinance. It's out of the hotels control.
- 3/5
The room was SO much smaller than it looked online. It was fine for just me and my daughter, but if anyone else would have been with us it would have been very tight. Everything was clean and it had a great little kitchenette. The hotel was about a 12 minute walk to State Farm arena- BUT.. it was such a sketchy area and I felt very unsafe on the walk. The bed was terrible for someone almost in their 40s.
- 4/5
The bed was pretty uncomfortable but the room was nice and clean. The toilet ran all night which was really annoying. I ended up leaving my coat at the end of my stay and they mailed it back to me within a day of me reporting it. The system they have is extremely organized and the staff is really helpful. So if you lose something and you have proof that it’s yours, you’ll definitely get it back.
- 5/5
Clean rooms and amazing staff
- 4/5
ALLEN at the front desk was AWSOME! He's why I gave the 4 Stars! It would have been a different rating if Not for Him...
- 1/5
This is not a safe place to stay, plain and simple. Upon being dropped off I was already being harassed by individuals on the corner in front of the hotel entrance. The access to the hotel is hidden and on the side of the building, there’s no grand entrance because you need to be buzzed in and out which already set off warning signals. The hotel itself is decent, nothing exciting to offer and barebones. I actually didn’t end up staying, I cancelled and found another hotel that was safer. Worse yet, currently they won’t issue a refund for the stay even though I didn’t stay overnight. I was in and out in less than a few hours. Overall, horrible experience and was lucky I was able to find another place to stay. I was supposed to have a group of us staying here and we all relocated, would not recommend especially if you’re in town for an event at the convention center. You’re not going to be able to walk there. I’m hoping to get the refund by continuing to dispute, but so far still disappointed.
- 4/5
The hotel was great! The club next door was noisy and made sleeping a bit rough on the weekend.
- 5/5
Location, cleanliness and professionalism of the staff.
- 5/5
Needed to cancel and the front desk was exceptional in accommodating
- 5/5
Great place
- 5/5
I love that the staff was so nice and the amenities were good
- 4/5
The room was very nice. We loved the breakfast each morning. That was a huge plus as most of the other hotels nearby didn’t offer that. The staff was helpful.
- 4/5
You’re getting what you pay for. If you’re expecting ritz Carlton amenities then obviously don’t book here. The hotel does its job with
- 2/5
The room was in very rough shape, chips in the cabinets, worn out bed, just old feeling. The lobby smelled like weed, very sketchy area, wasnt sure i wanted to walk anywhere. The pictures make it look much better than reality.
- 1/5
The room was not as described for the up charge they ask for. To top it off valet damaged my brand new car. Worst experience ever.
- 1/5
We felt completely unsafe, someone entered my room while we were gone and dnd sign was on and my meds were stolen. Hotel doesn’t care and is covering something up !
- 4/5
Staff was great! Love the historic building. Room was clean. Our heat wasn’t working well so it got a bit chilly and the pullout couch mattress definitely needs an upgrade.
- 5/5
Room was nice and clean great location and staff
- 3/5
While it seemed like a nice hotel from the pictures and the advertisement through Expedia it is very outdated. The rooms while they were a decent size again it was very outdated. The hotel is situated near the Atlanta underground, which used to be a popular area to visit, but is now very rundown and full of homeless people in the area walking around and sleeping. I would not recommend walking around that area at night unless you’re traveling in a group. The valet staff were very accommodating and kind. The front desk staff, although there were some issues with overcharging they explained to me how it works. My bank also confirmed that they put a pre-authorization hold on top of your total cost of your stay and on top of the separate charge that you have to do for incidentals. The gentleman that I spoke with at checkout was very kind as well as very knowledgeable. It could be a very beautiful hotel if it was updated. They do not do housekeeping until you check out. And there was a bit of a wait to get fresh towels and extra bedding for the pullout couch (we had to go downstairs and collect it ourselves). They do not offer room service and have a very limited market in the lobby.
- 4/5
Staff were kind and helpful
- 4/5
Hotel is very dated, but CLEAN!! Great location near GWCC and MB stadium. The staff were amazing. Very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was solid. Alan at the front desk was an absolute pleasure. We would definitely stay here again for the staff and location alone. Only negative - we had two TVs in our room and neither worked. Not a big deal for us, just something to mention.
- 5/5
I came to Atlanta to celebrate my daughter’s 21st birthday. The front desk clerk Allen A was phenomenal and he made our time there delightful. He gave us recommendations on places to visit shop and eat. He set the tone on our stay and it didn’t disappoint.
- 5/5
Everything was nice except the 80$ per room per night deposit required, had to pay
- 4/5
Staff Excellent. Room needs a little tending to but still very nice.
- 3/5
The headboard you could still see other people’s handprints on it, the shower pressure was weak and the TV’s brightness and quality were not the best. Decent room and price for the area.
- 1/5
I never stayed at the hotel. I booked through the site and was not able to cancel through site so I personally went to the hotel to cancel. I spoke with the front desk clerk and was told the reservation was cancelled and it was never canceled but I was charged 2 times
- 3/5
Refrigerator in room didn't work, not tea only coffee, no sheets, pillows or blankets located in room for pull out sofa, place looks decieving on line, not in good area, loud club right nearby.

Went to Atlanta for my bestie birthday. Its 5 of is so we had 2 rooms. Hotel is in an abandoned downtown area. Our doors didnt lock properly neither did our tv. The security guy had to come and try to fix our tv said that due to the weather they weren't working. There was no hot water so after a nite on the city when we got back to the hotel they did offer us another room. We got to the new rooms and the toilets and AC wasnt working and still no hot water so after speaking to the Concierge he finally told us that there was only 1 boiler working, oh "really" why he didnt tell us that in the beginning we could have canceled our stay there and gone to another hotel. But we tough thru it and made the best of our little birthday celebration with my girl. You live you learn.
- 3/5
Cleanliness, light broken in the bedroom, water in the shower not warm, TV not working in the bedroom
- 4/5
Stay was great and staff was awesome!
- 5/5
Staff are nice from front to kitchen to housekeeping
- 1/5
Room was clean and I appreciate that. We had no control over the room temperature. I stayed 3 days and not one day was I able to take a hot shower simply because the water DID NOT get hot. The building was uncomfortably COLD. I
- 1/5
First of all, upon arrival, I was met at the door by three security guards asking me if I was staying there a bit aggressively; which made me feel a bit uneasy already (for the record, the hotel is located in a rougher looking area and you need your card key to even open the front door to the hotel, which is a bit of a safety issue if there are lots of people lurking around the area.) The secondary complaint I had is the hotel staff had charged my card before I had even checked in at the property (I had reserved my room online and picked to pay physically at the property when I arrived.), which over-drafted my account and towards the end of my stay, I was informed that I would not receive my refund until almost two weeks later. (7-10 business days not including the weekend.) The bathroom that was reserved for my stay was not clean at all (I had to clean it myself due to there being residue in the tub, brown water damage stains and water scum on the shower walls.) and the hot water was not working at all (apparently there was issues with the boiler so we had to be moved to an entirely different room which was a bit better.) The quality of the room was just okay overall (The AC unit is a bit dated so you can’t adjust it but so high or low, lots of water stain damage in the bathroom, peeling walls, etc.) Overall, I would not recommend to stay there longer than a night if you are visiting the city of Atlanta.
- 1/5
Room was cold the temp wouldn’t go above 60 degree and shower water temp wouldn’t not get warm and we called down stairs and maintenance came to check and they said it like that through out the whole hotel. I will never stay here again
- 2/5
Room did have an heat a when we told the receptionist they said they would send someone and never did!!!!! An also the televisions barely worked
- 4/5
Hotel was nice but the crowd that hangs around outside make the area a little sketchy.
- 5/5
beautiful room and the front desk were accommodating
- 2/5
Staff
- 4/5
The suite was very nice and spacious. It was nice to have the separate living room space. The staff were so kind and friendly. They were very accommodating especially with the bad weather that came in. This hotel is in the middle of the city and within walking distance of everything. It’s a great hidden gem.
- 5/5
The individual at the front desk was so kind, engaging, and friendly! Truly an angel in disguise after a LONG two days of cancelled flights and failed attempts to get back to PA in a blizzard. He made me feel so welcome. I’d come back just because of how outstanding he is!! The valet Steve was absolutely wonderful as well: friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The room is immaculate and so cozy lots of space for relaxing and/ or doing work.
- 4/5
I will give this room a nine out of 10. Everything was well just be prepared for the $55 parking a night and be prepared for the incidentals which is $80 a night. Other than that it went well in the breakfast was a five out of 10.
- 5/5
great
- 4/5
I traveled to Atlanta for business. The hotel itself is great. I love the building. The location isn’t the best but we felt safe. It is very close to downtown. Good restaurants, specially the Irish pub YUM. We had an issue with the hot water, we told the front desk guy about it, he did not seem to care and said “oh that’s normal here the water never gets too hot” next day temperature dropped to 20 at night, the heater was blowing cold air, went down to the front desk again luckily there was this nice young men I told him about the issues and he disagreed and was disappointed about how his coworker handle the situation and relocated us to a very nice “suite” with hot hot water and nice warm heater. I will go back there for my next trip for sure. Ohhh free breakfast was a plus!
- 5/5
Everything was great clean room, staff and the smooth process with everything clear and explained.
- 1/5
Couldn’t even watch tv. The cable and internet wouldn’t work
- 5/5
Love this place. Very convenient, roomy and friendly staff
- 3/5
They never came in to clean the room. We had the trash being piled up
- 3/5
Close to everything just in a odd spot
- 5/5
All good
- 2/5
The room was okay. The staff not helpful at all. I actually saw an old man at the desk asking for help trying to get a taxi and the front desk was completely unhelpful.
- 5/5
Room was spotless and great location
- 3/5
Ok
- 4/5
The staff was very friendly and accommodating
- 5/5
No complaints
- 4/5
The room was very spacious, the staff was very kind. However, the neighborhood where the hotel is located did not feel very safe. There were homeless people walking around late at night accross from the hotel where we parked in the parking garage. If you don't want to park there you can pay the valet fee and they will park your vehicle for you. I was also disappointed that we did not get any room service cleaning even though we booked for 2 nights.
- 4/5
Front desk staff were really nice and the free breakfast was good too. Rooms are older but we slept great. Hot water in the shower was just warm. I will stay here again.
- 5/5
Great location friendly staff
- 1/5
No hot water for four days. Nobody came to look into it despite multiple calls. No housekeeping for all four days. AC not adjustable. Never use Choice or Ascend again.
- 4/5
I’ve stayed twice and everything was nice and especially the location… Just a suggestion from being a housekeeper… Please leave the bag for the pull out even if we have to requests pillows… It’s enough pillows on the bed and possibly small bags for the trash cans to avoid such a mess… And I will probably be staying again
- 3/5
The room was in good condition. The only downfall is the location. Its literally in the heart of downtown, so it can be considered convenient and we definitely got what we paid for. The surrounding area is very shady at nightfall so be aware of your surroundings. It is not in the "nice" looking side or downtown
- 3/5
Could do with more HOT WATER
- 4/5
The room was clean, everyone was very friendly and helpful and there wasnt a lot of noise heard in the room which was a plus since it was in downtown Atlanta.
- 1/5
The first room they put us in was 30 degrees and freezing. They sent maintenance to fix but could not fix it. Moved us to ANOTHER room after we had already unpacked and both TVs weren’t working. The people at the front desk were rude as well and didn’t act like they wanted to help. The maintenance guy was very nice and so was the valet guys. The hotel could be very nice but needs help. Also I booked a suite and the second room they moved us to was smaller.
- 4/5
This was a fine, affordable, stay for our Tradeshow. A $10 uber to the Americas Mart. The rooms were clean, but they do not clean/reset them everyday when you stay there for multiple days. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was basic cereal, toast, coffee and tea. There is a club across the street but it was only loud 1 of the 4 nights we stayed. Based on price, distance to venue, and comfortable beds, I would consider staying here again. We did travel to other areas of the city for dinner.
- 5/5
I booked at the last minute when another hotel cancelled my reservation. Room was very clean and loved the hot water and shower head. Breakfast was just enough for a quick breakfast with many options.
- 3/5
Temperature Meter in Room No. 1201 was NOT Working ! Staff avoided listening later came to change batteries but bought WRONG size 3 times ! Then changed the Machine but it did Not work ! So had to change to Room No. 1204 in Midnight !! This room was fine. Room cleaning upon request done but PATHETIC ! Plastic wrapper thrown in WC & Paper thrown on next day ! Bed was Not made, Service staff is Not Professional ! Location is good with Restaurants & attractions within reach..
- 4/5
Safe and not too far from the Benz or Arena
- 2/5
Dirty room carpert smelled dark rooms. Refrigerator iced up all food
- 1/5
Not a good place for families, not safe.
- 5/5
The hotel isn't in the greatest part of Atlanta, but they have valet parking so never worried about my car. Desk staff was courteous. Our suite was clean and provided enough comfort for everyone. The bathroom was spacious. Check out was easy and valet had my car waiting when we left. Overall, a great experience.
- 4/5
The staff was nice and friendly and upgraded our room, which was helpful.
- 5/5
The hotel accommodate my late fight by allowing me to utilize their business space. I was very greatful.
- 5/5
Clean rooms and courteous service and nice breakfast.
- 5/5
Made a last minute reservation here and it was a good stay. It’s a bit dated but met all other needs. Valet was kind and made it easy to get car from them. Front desk was quick and kind. I return late after attending a birthday dinner and felt safe with security at the entrance and you need a key card to get in. The rooms were clean and no loud disturbances on the floors which made for a peaceful sleep. Elevators worked. Didn’t get a chance to grab breakfast but I appreciate the freshly mopped floors as I was checking out.
- 4/5
Young man who checked us in was great. Room very clean. Hotel nice and quiet. Valet (run separately) worked great. No problem. This is near Five Points train station, so during the day there are homeless people hanging out near the hotel. The immediate area is in dire need of renovation, but that's really only a couple of blocks of buildings. Cheaper than nearby, but that's clearly because of the surrounding atmosphere.
- 3/5
This property is very old and has a lot of wear and tear. The location was good for us/ walking distance to Mercedes stadium however not in a great area. Lots of homeless around. The multi suite room was spacious with two rooms. Overall clean. Our toilet got clogged and difficult getting assistance.
- 4/5
Rooms are clean. Like the extra space. Bed was super comfy. Having breakfast offered was helpful because there’s nothing available nearby. Staff was great
- 5/5
Location & room. Breakfast was just okay.
- 5/5
Good
- 3/5
Valet parking was the only option and it was $55 per night.
- 5/5
The team was attentive, patient, and willing to help resolve the issues I brought up. Once everything was addressed, my stay became much more comfortable. I especially want to give a big shout‑out to Tamika, who went above and beyond to make sure I felt taken care of. Her professionalism and warmth made a real difference. Every hotel has its hiccups, but what matters most is how the staff responds, and in that area The Connally really delivered. Thank you for the effort and the hospitality.
- 3/5
Room didn't have hot water and tvs weren't working
- 5/5
Clean and spacious
- 5/5
Staff was friendly, the room was spotless
- 2/5
The staff failed to mark my room as occupied and rented it out to another guest where they tried to barge into the room. Staff took no responsibility after calling and asking to speak to a manager and reassurance. This is incredibly dangerous and negligent. Luckily I was in the room sleeping and abruptly awaken to tell the guest that I was assigned the room the day before. The guest were incredibly offended and rude as if it was my fault. Who knows if the second guest would have entered while I wasn’t there and what would happen to my personal belongings. Completely unacceptable. Lack of accountability, safety and security.
- 5/5
The room itself, the view and the surroundings of the hotel.
- 3/5
It was decent but definitely not what I expected from the pictures advertised. The lack of customer service and look of location was unexpected.
- 5/5
Everything was good, awesome staff!

A perfect location for Atlanta attractions, friendly staff from valet to front desk with excellent service. Clean rooms and nicely appointed, at a great price. It is right at The Underground so be sure to download a white noise app to drown out the beats if you don’t plan on partaking in them.

I had too many issues and when I reached out before writing this review, I received no response for a week and counting. First there is no mention of major construction going on around nearby Five points MARTA, so it was more difficult getting there safely. Then, upon checking in I learned my room that I reserved and paid for was "not available" on a Friday night. I attempted to take a shower the next morning but had no hot water. Before I almost checked out of the Connally early, I was switched into another room but had people enter my room occupied TWICE so I could tell the staff were not on the same page. It was a short stay and close to the arena and stadium but I personally won't be choosing this hotel again.
- 4/5
Yes, the rooms were nice and clean! I only gave this a 4 star since valet was so expensive!
- 2/5
the breakfast ends at 9:30 even when it was scheduled from 7 to 10AM, the hallways were clean and elevator were working good and fast the building is centrally located but look out for the homeless and the mentally unwell roaming
- 3/5
My room was too cold , the heat was not working and the TV was not working it was glitching the entire time
- 3/5
It’s just okay. Good for game night. It’s a good 10min walk away from the stadium. Parking is a bit of a trouble. Valet is $55 a day but overall it’s okay.
- 5/5
Location was convenient, room was clean, staff polite. Underwhelmed by outside of hotel; however once inside I was pleased.

i called and told them my flight was delayed i wasn’t going to be able to check in until the next day and they confirmed it was okay . when i arrived next day my reservation was canceled and i was unable to get my money back .
- 1/5
I did not like this hotel at all. The bathroom was full of hairs and the parking was not accessible at all. Also, staff was rude.
- 3/5
The hotel itself inside is nice and clean. Just didn’t like the service from the valet parking and some staff. Not the best attitude. We felt uncomfortable asking anything because they would sound rude. Otherwise we would have enjoyed our stay.
- 4/5
The room was great it was clean. The employees were really nice and helpful. The only thing that I didn't like was the outside, there was alot of construction and alot of homeless people walking around. Did not feel safe.

It was cool.

- 5/5
The best parts of my stay were the courteous staff and the location. I was able to use the Marta transit from the airport fairly easily (just use a GPS and select public transit). There were several food and social spaces within either walking distance or a short Lyft ride. The hotel itself was a little older but clean and the room I selected was spacious. I would recommend staying without a vehicle unless there’s a need to drive to the outskirts of the Atlanta area.
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was huge.
- 2/5
My main issue was the cleaning service. I stayed 5 nights, and my garbage was only emptied one time, and my bed was not made a single time. In fact, I came back to a note stating "I'll come and make the bed later since I am not in the mood for bed-making. Thank you and sorry." I was always out by 11am and typically came back at 10pm, and that specific day I got back at 2am, so they did not come back and make the bed in the 15 hours I was gone. A second note was left stating it was due to belongings left on the bed, but I specifically left all my property on the floor adjacent in order to remove the need to move anything so that is a plain falsehood. This second note was also located underneath the note stating it was due to "not feeling like doing it" which leads me to believe they wrote the thing about my stuff as an excuse, realized I had nothing on the bed, and then left the former note with their actual explanation which is that they simply did not want to do it. I believe returning to a clean room is something a guest at a hotel is entitled to, not something that staff can shirk because they "dont feel like it". The GOOD is that the front desk had great customer service, accomodated my late check in my first night, and were very cheerful. Additionally, the breakfast buffet had good options and a large time window which was nice. That being said, I sadly will not be staying here next year when I return to Atlanta.

- 5/5
Very nice staff and service! Love the room and the location! Highly recommend!
- 3/5
The tub did not look clean / it was stained, the toilet set kept falling off the toilet because it was not screwed on correctly, the lights in the hallway did not work, and housekeeping did not come to the room at all during our stay. Other than that the hotel wasn’t terrible, it was close to the stadium that’s why we chose it. However for the price we paid we expected a little more cleanliness and less mishaps.
- 5/5
It was good quiet nice staff well organized great rates!
- 1/5
Rooms weren’t bad but the A/C wasn’t working in the room and the staff didn’t do much to help with the problem
- 2/5
The parking garage had cars that where beaten up spray, painted, and reaked of urine. The parking garage elevator didnt work and the stair wells where caution taped off and the glass windows were shattered. Once we made the one block walk to the hotel. The entrance was nothing but marjuana. Front desk and staff was super sweet and accommodating. Unfortunately the roomed smelled like urine as soon as you walked in heading into the living room. Luckily the bedroom smelled fine and sheets were clean and everything else seemed clean inside. But overall area seemed unsafe.
- 1/5
The room was cold the shower didn’t work and the tv didn’t work when ask about it I was told there was nothing that they couldn’t do about it and the parking was high as hell
- 3/5
The bathroom light that was supposed to be over the toilet and shower was nonexistent. The water was lukewarm, which was terrible since it was winter. A piece of the closet door was broken. The bedroom tv screen was distorted and neither television’s cable channels nor Netflix worked. The best thing was the staff who were friendly and courteous.
- 2/5
bad customer service
- 5/5
The hotel was very nice
- 3/5
The staff is nice and the lobby is clean. The rooms could use some extra work. When we arrived the bathroom smelled like urine, also the outlets in the bathroom did not work I had to curl my hair in the hallway, the shower has really low water pressure and gets cold quick, the heat barely works or does not work at all, cool air was blowing on us all night, there were stains on the walls the paint was chipping and peeling off, the room smelled very enclosed, plus the towels and sheets had brown and orange stains. I did not complain to anyone because I was just passing through, and didn’t want to cause any issues.
- 2/5
Only valet parking, which wasn’t aware of until day before. The entire hotel smelled like marijuana, including our room. The gentleman manning the check in/out area were very slow and not customer oriented and made it seem like everyone was a bother. To top it all off, there was no hot water in the building.
- 4/5
Location was convenient. Hotel is very interesting. Historical, not old. Location is convenient to Atlanta Underground where I go to see bands play.
- 2/5
There is a nightclub right next door that played music until early morning everyday we were there. I slept terribly all 3 nights. I would never stay there again.

- 5/5
The staff was excellent and the room exceeded my expectations. Would definitely stay there again when coming to see the Falcons lose!
- 4/5
The staff were excellent, our room was clean, the breakfast didn't have a lot to offer. However, we had no hot water in our room. We were moved to a second room still with no hot water, the third room we were moved to, the water was barely warm, but by 1:30AM we were tired from traveling and just wanted to go to bed. We found out later we were not the only guests with this issue.
- 2/5
Better parking and making sure rooms a/c are working properly.
- 1/5
You may want to ask for earplugs from the front desk because the bar at the underground will not let you sleep before 2am. There was no hot water during the majority of my stay there. The neighborhood is kind of rough as well with a lot of construction going on. Staff were okay as they promised me to switch my room the next day and I got a new room with hot water two days later. They also kindly offered me to refund my room while all the hotels were sold out due to the SEC championship game. Breakfast was okay.
- 1/5
I had reserved a king room, but the guy at the counter said it would be about 45 min to an hour before they have a king available, so he said he had a room with 2 queens available, so i said i would take that. No hot water at all in the room, and tools were left in the room like someone was working in there. Ended up getting another room. Water was lukewarm at best. Vents in the bathroom shower, and in the room were filthy. Carpet in front of the fridge was soaked. I would not recommend this place at all
- 2/5
Bad customer service all around, from front desk check in to wait staff, slow and not friendly. Rude worker in breakfast area telling me you cant fill up a water bottle due to “covid” wasn’t even planning on filling it up there but she was very rude. Whole building was cold including the rooms and no hot water in the shower. Much better options nearby for same price, stay away from this place.
- 1/5
Haven’t returned my security deposit
- 2/5
Room was adequate, staff was friendly, parking is $55 a night mandatory because there is no parking. Valet only. Club next door has outdoor speakers and play till 3am or later and are so loud you need ear plugs or loud white noise to drown it out.
- 5/5
I will definitely be back
- 2/5
bedroom didn’t work
- 4/5
One thing to note is that the hotel is located in a somewhat rough area with a noticeable amount of crime. We never felt truly unsafe, but we did encounter a few odd characters in the vicinity. Also, valet parking is $55 per day, so we opted to self-park in a nearby garage for $30 a day and walked to the hotel instead. Another small downside was the hot water and water pressure in our room it wasn’t great, though that might be because we were on the 16th floor. That said, if you’re looking for an affordable, newly renovated hotel with great staff, this is a solid choice!
- 2/5
Parking is $55 a night, room was okay but housekeeping never came in 4 nights even though it was requested. Breakfast was the bare minimal.
- 3/5
The room was old and run down and the service was terrible.
- 5/5
The customer service was great, very friendly and my rooms were very clean.
- 5/5
It was a great stay no parking at property
- 1/5
Worse experience. The surrounding areas aren’t for families that have children. The place feels very unsafe and the extra fees are incredibly ridiculous!!
- 5/5
Very nice hotel the rooms were nice and they had good customer service. Valet is a little high but they where friendly as well.
- 5/5
Wonderful stay great location
- 4/5
The room i had was really nice. The area around the hotel left a lot to be desired.
- 5/5
Everything was great, huge homeless population. Great location and walkable. Totally urban so dont expect suburbia
- 2/5
I explained to the front desk lady on my stay all the inconveniences and problems we had while we were there. We stayed in room 1505 and the windows were cracked with wind coming through and it was cold in the room even with the heat on the tub had peelings flying around in the water from it peeling from the tub itself the sheets have black marks all over them and I showed them the pictures and videos of the inconvenience. The room key did not work we had to stand outside for 15 minutes until the door decided to open on its own. All in all it is a beautiful hotel
- 2/5
breakfast could be better.
- 2/5
No housekeeping for 3 days. This is unacceptable.
- 3/5
AC was not working in my room, door key does not work most of the time, but the bedroom was spacious. Only 2 elevators serving a 17-floor building. Breakfast is okay. Location is excellent, close to a train station going to the airport, and several attractions within a reasonble walk.
- 3/5
Room cleanliness needs improvement

Yes room spotless. Staff respectful. Great peace and privacy
- 2/5
When we got there at 6:30 ish they did not have my room ready. Check in was at 4 and they plenty of time to have one. They told me to either wait 40 mins for the room or give me another room ready for me if I would like it(it was 2 twin bed)and I said yes. But, as I was waiting for them to hand me the keys to that room. I can see from the look on the clerks face that they couldn’t do that for me. I had somewhere to be so I told them I’ll be leaving to give them more time to prepare the room for me. I would have loved to get the travel air off me and take a moment to get me stuff ready before leaving and that did not happen.
- 5/5
Yes room spotless
- 2/5
the room had stains in the carpet and blood not cleaned in the bathroom on the floor and the door there was no extra pillows and blankets for the fold out sofa the coffee pot did not work and the staff was ok there was a charge of $50 deposit for each night and a charge of $55 per night for valet parking which is all they offered unless you were lucky enough to find a parking spot outside and pay the parking meters hourly and it's located in a terrible park of town on the upside it was in walking distance to the Masquerade to the concert we were going to and the free breakfast was good
- 1/5
I checked in to room 1505. Neither TV worked had the front desk Staff come up to check the TV themselves and said it was not working properly. Then informed me that I had to wait. So I decided to move to a new room. I got moved to 1605 and experience. The same issue.. The televisions did not work and on top of that in this room, the air conditioning did not come on at all so I was sweaty and hot all night long not to mention. I had a one year-old baby with me who needed the TV to be able to enjoy himself during my workday. I talked to the manager the next morning once she got in around 9:30 after maintenance had came up to the room and informed me that there was something wrong with the wiring in the wall that was causing all of the floors, the same issue with the Internet and the television not working I then got moved to another room where the AC worked the bedroom TV work but yet and still, the living room television did not work. They were not willing to offer me any compensation for all of the inconveniences that I haven’t had. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone stay far away.

- 5/5
The parking was valet only and it was expensive. Breakfast was not great
- 5/5
Great room, Spacious. helpful staff.
- 3/5
They location is close to downtown but in a sketchy neighborhood. There were a lot of homeless around the hotel. The room was decent and clean but we were on a low floor and could hear the nightclub music next door until 3 am and at 7am the construction jack hammering started. The shower was either boiling hot or freezing cold. The breakfast was waffles and microwave jimmy dean sandwiches. The valet and front desk staff was nice. Overall it was fine for a quick weekend but we will not stay again.
- 5/5
IT WAS SO NICE AND IT WORTH THE PAY
- 4/5
Good
- 3/5
Unfortunately the hotel room was super noisy during the day and at night. Our hotel room shower had no water pressure, we had to stand right up in the shower head to get any barely water (which wasn’t hot and was lukewarm).
- 3/5
It took 3 tries back and forth to the lobby to get the room key formatted to open the door. The room was clean and comfortable. Be aware the location is in a sketchy neighborhood. There are a lot of homeless and skantily dressed ladies around the property. The valet is $55 and they were great getting the car quickly. The shower was boiling hot in the morning and freezing cold in the evenings. We stayed on the 4th floor so we could hear the loud music from the night club until 3am and then got woken up by jack hammers in the morning from the nearby construction. Overall, it was fine for a two night weekend but I would not stay again.
- 4/5
everything was great except shower did not work.
- 5/5
Clean.
- 5/5
Room clean thank you again
- 3/5
The hotel was in a good location to get to downtown attractions including State Farm Arena. The building is really worn down though. The fan was loud and the vent cover would fall off the wall if you touched it. The heat function didn't work at all. This probably is not a big issue most of the year but it was -2 degrees celcius the night we were there. The bedroom window also would not fully close so it became extremely cold in the room. The room we stayed in was very spacious and it was nice to have some extra space to sit and eat a meal. The cupboards in the mini kitchen don't close properly and stick out around your legs while at the sink. The TV in the living room area didn't work but the one in the bedroom did. The bathroom was enormous! It was probably luxurious at one point in time but there was damage to the tiles around the tub and the bathroom sink wouldn't drain. The pull out couch was decent but there were no sheets or blankets provided. We tried calling the desk a few times but didn't get an answer so had to go down to ask them for sheets. It took about 15 minutes because the staff member was busy helping out other guests. Check in took a while as well. One staff member at the desk doesn't seem like enough to provide proper service. Staff were friendly though. Breakfast was good. Parking was by valet only. There is no parking on site. The service was good but I would have preferred having access to my vehicle on site and the price was expensive ($55).

However, when we arrived there was a dirty wash cloth still hanging in the bathroom and it looks like it’s been there a while. There were still hair on the carpet. It was hard to determine the temperature of the water in the shower because there was no label on the knob and it only ran hot water. I was sent an email by the property manager that they offer an “intercontinental breakfast”, I had high hopes but most of the food were processed.
- 4/5
Friendly staff.
- 5/5
Staff was great, room was great!
- 5/5
The hotel was very clean. When we got there we were greeted by friendly valet services who informed us we could use the service or self-park. We used the service of course. Walking into the hotel from the street was a pleasant surprise beautiful floors and friendly front desk staff greeted us. Check in was easy. The room was clean, did need some renovations but was still nice. Very convenient to all our activities. We would consider staying there again.
- 5/5
Clean & affordable
- 3/5
We stay 3 nights and in any day they clean the room, sofa was uncomfortable and area are too quite.
- 2/5
There was no check in staff
- 5/5
Real easy parking and checking in close to the place we were going we were able to walk
- 4/5
With the extreme cold front that came through on Monday, my room 305 was very cold. Even with therm set to 79degrees.
- 3/5
No shampoo or soap in the bathroom. Decent sized leak in the ceiling that actively leaked when the room above us showered in the morning. Room was nice sized and clean. Check in was at 4pm, staff did try to get us early check in at 2pm but were unable to, which obviously was not a problem. Otherwise the room was nice.
- 5/5
Hotel was clean, staff was great, walked to and from our concert venue with no troubles. Will come back!
- 4/5
Reading others' comments, staying at the Connelly is truly a "Tale of 2 Hotels." While reviews varied re: cleanliness & roaches, my suite was immaculate w/no pests. I asked 4 & received a corner room, & on a floor sans ice machines. While 1 room close 2 the elevator was quite loud after 11p, I couldn't hear them in my room. The continental breakfast offered a variety of healthy & not so healthy options. While yes I had 2 giggle the toilet handle 4 it 2 stop running, this wasn't a big deal. My sheets/towels/linens were all clean. While I ran out of make-up remover pads & coffee pods, I picked up more at the front desk. While I was informed that housekeeping came once in 3 days, I had more than enough clean towels (however too, I was a solo traveler). And, though others complained of not getting their deposit fee back in a timely manner, in contrast mine was refunded within 24 hours of check-out. Re: the unhoused ... while I was surprised 2 see so many in downtown Atlanta huddled together (in my city, they're often single or travel in pairs), I attribute their gatherings 2 the warmer climate (even though climes were cooler due 2 the hurricane while I was there). Some too had mental health issues. As a single, senior citizen, I was cautious walking 2 my conference at Ga. State, though not afraid as I live in a large city. I think it depends on what 1 is comfortable with/exposed to, etc. Finally, 1 staff member, I think his name was Roderick, was extremely helpful.
- 5/5
My valet was dope. Light skin dude with locs and the pretty eyes. Was so attentive . The whole place was nice .
- 4/5
Parking was easy with lotts of options. Our kitchenette had a mini fridge microwave and coffee pot 🙂
- 4/5
Staff was super friendly, room was clean and comfortable. Love that there was a separate bedroom and living space. Perfect for when my daughter and I wanted space.
- 1/5
We arrived in the evening and the exterior of the property was surrounded by homeless and shady looking men. The parking area was dark and my wife refused to get out of the car. I also felt unsafe to get out of my vehicle. We decided to find a safer looking property. We ended up spending twice as much to stay at a second property. I attempted to explain the situation in order to get a refund for the Connolly Hotel room but was told that a refund would not be given to me. I decided to leave a real review of the hotel and how I felt. I suggested you do not stay at this hotel unless you plan on staying inside the hotel after dark.
- 5/5
Room size was great!
- 5/5
Great overall
- 4/5
The toilet was not fully connected and moved on the floor.
- 3/5
Staff was great. There was no hot water in the shower.
- 1/5
The check in was a complete nightmare. The power went out earlier in the day (before we arrived and was back on before we even got there) yet we waited in the hotel lobby for over an hour to get into our room. We were told it was because the wifi was still down, and we were just one of several groups that had to wait in the lobby during this time. The man working at the front desk was very nice, but the whole situation was handled very poorly. Then, when we finally arrived in our room, we had none of the room info, such as the wifi due to the nature of our check in. The network and cable connection to both the TVs within the room were broken as well, which was just the icing on the cake. This was a complete disaster and me and my party will be expecting financial compensation for our stay here.
- 5/5
Room was spacious. Staff very nice/helpful
- 4/5
The hotel services were good; room were clean and comfortable. The only thing to concern is the 5 point station is under construction, streets and retails are closed, a lot of vacant properties which become places for homeless.
- 4/5
location was good. problem with key card in the beginning. overall it was a nice experience and they provided a complimentary late checkout
- 2/5
The staff were nice and the facility was quite clean. Housekeeping visited my room once during a six day stay. I reported that the body wash dispenser in the shower was empty (when I arrived), and someone left a new one sitting outside my door for me to install. (Fortunately, no tools were required.) The room thermostat could not be adjusted, and the a/c made a rather load banging sound whenever it kicked in. Bathroom lighting was dim, and hot showers were nonexistent. (I managed to get a fairly warm shower once, maybe twice, during a six day stay.)

- 3/5
The room had a damp moldy aroma, not very inviting.
- 5/5
We were hesitant about o stay here as the reviews were 50/50 but we had a good experience. Staff were very polite and helpful, room was everything we needed. I can say that the tv/internet was a hit or miss the rooms air flow wasn’t awesome but all in all we had zero issues.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 4/5
However, the surrounding area felt a bit sketchy, especially at night, though the hotel itself felt safe and secure. Would recommend for budget-conscious travelers looking for a clean and reliable place with great staff.
- 4/5
Courteous and friendly staff. The surrounding area may feel a bit sketchy at night, but the hotel itself feels safe and secure
- 4/5
Nice and clean i didn't like that they ask you for a deposit of 80 dollar for each person i wasn't expecting that
- 1/5
We were very disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. Our second day we were only given two towels, and we even had to go down to the desk to get them. And we had a situation where it was totally unacceptable from the valet team. When we got into our truck , it smelled of weed . Would not recommend this hotel, and they didn’t even offer a refund or anything on the valet price. Really hope someone looks into this.
- 1/5
I didn’t even check in. 30 people waiting in the lobby for rooms. I left
- 5/5
Check in and valet staff were very kind, very pleasant and accommodating. The atmosphere of the building is comfortable and very clean.
- 5/5
Gorgeous king room with kitchenette. Modern furnishings and very comfortable bed. Great view from the 9th floor. Good location. Super clean rooms and very friendly staff. Our room was very hot and unable to regulate the temperature over the two nights we were there. We had maintenance try and fix it but we just kept the door open for a bit to get some cooler hallway air.
- 5/5
The best bedding EVER!!!
- 3/5
Nice staff not in the best location
- 5/5
The staff was very very nice and the location is convenient for like quick food, travel as in the train, and some activities
- 1/5
DO NOT STAY HERE! I would share photos if it would allow me.
- 4/5
It was good
- 2/5
Staff was friendly at times. The room and hallway itself was clean but did smell of marijuana which only grew through the evening and in to the morning. The location leaves much to be desired. Was unaware of the rave/night club next door. While the hotel itself is not to blame for the location it unfortunately must bear the negativity that can be associated with it. I would not recommend this location if you have children traveling with you, solo or couple would probably be fine.
- 5/5
Our room was very spacious - had a sitting room, a bedroom, and large bathroom. Nice historic hotel, great value, no complaints!
- 1/5
I thought it was a walkable area, but I was approached by so many strangers that I had to spend a large amount of money on Ubers because as a single woman that’s not safe. Everything in the area is closed as well.
- 2/5
Room wasn't fully cleaned and doesn't look as nice as pictures
- 3/5
On top of it the holding over $150 on our reservation almost a week after we are still waiting on the refund.
- 3/5
The staff was so cordial and extremely helpful but the place is run down and in an unsafe area.
- 5/5
Very accessible for business purposes. Traveled by bus hotel was 6min walk business was a 8 min walk
- 3/5
The bathroom looked newly renovated even though there was no soap next to the sink. or towel for infront of the shower. The room overall looked clean but I did find a pretty big toenail clipping next to the bed and the ice bucket had no plastic lining and even had a bandaid stuck to the bottom of it. The cable did not work in our room the entire time despite someone from maintenance coming to look at it after I had to ask the front desk twice to send someone. Theres a really loud club directly across the street along with a ton of other clubs so if you’re not looking for that atmosphere I wouldn’t stay there. Overall the staff was friendly, valet was prompt, I would skip the breakfast and not plan on eating that.
- 4/5
Staff was excellent. Building had some issues but nothing major. Breakfast was just a lot of carbs or a microwave breakfast sandwich. Will stay again.
- 5/5
One of the nicest hotels I been to in a while
- 5/5
Exceptionally comfortable bed and a calm, peaceful atmosphere — the perfect spot to unwind and recharge.
- 2/5
15 min walk to the Olympic Park and sports stadiums. Friendly staff to check bags. Space in the corner room was nice. That is the end of the positives. Check in was atrocious with dozens of people made to wait to the same min to check in with no system and only one worker. Mold all around the air unit with the front panel broke off. When asked front desk staff for hand soap for the room staff was very rude. Breakfast was non existent except for juice and stale English muffin 30 min prior to closing. Random people loitering outside making comments every time we walked outside. The building was impressive but would not stay again.
- 3/5
The hotel itself was clean and the staff at the front desk were courteous. The hotel also offers a very nice continental breakfast. However, it is clear that the hotel has seen better days and has not been maintained well. When I entered my room, it had a strong musty odor as though there had been a flood or leak. The cabinet under the living area sink would not close because the door was slightly off the hinges. In addition, the bedside table in the sleeping area was broken and propped up on the broken leg. Last, both of the light bulbs in the sleeping area lamps were blown out, so I had to take the lightbulb from the sitting area. I notified the front desk about this before I left the following day to attend my conference and asked that they clean my room and replace the bulbs; however, when I returned that evening, the room had not been cleaned, and the bulbs had not been changed. I unfortunately would not choose to stay at this hotel in the futue.

Great staff, walkable, and clean.

Clean facility, friendly staff.

Room was clean and everything worked which is nice.
- 2/5
Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was musty and bathroom was dirty. Property needs a major renovation and update. Located in a run down and unsafe area of town!

I was sold a room by expedia that was not available but accommodation were made and our stay was lovely.

We were there less than an hour early but was rudely told absolutely no early check ins. Breakfast was going on but there weren’t any food

Everyone was so nice. But the toilet run constantly and sink was slow to drain. The carpet freshener in the hall took ur breath away it was so strong. My husband has allergies and could not breath!
- 5/5
Room was well kept, staff was helpful, can’t complain about anything.

Close to everything

No warm water

The third room we received was at least clean, but it had no towels and no linens for the sofa bed. We had to go back downstairs to request them ourselves. Beyond the room issues, the hotel itself felt old and dingy, and it’s located in a very rough area. There were many homeless individuals around the property, the entire area smelled strongly of urine, and there were visible piles of human waste on the sidewalks. It did not feel safe or sanitary walking in or out of the building. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The property needs major improvements in both maintenance and management, and the surrounding area is simply not suitable for guests looking for a comfortable or secure stay.

I had a pretty good experience. The hotel was very clean and my room was nice as well. I would recommend this hotel for future stays.
- 1/5
Because of my experience with checking into the hotel being that I was assigned to 3 different rooms, The 1st room 1408 was completely dirty no sheets on the bed. The second room 1708 could not enter the room because the door would not opened the front desk attendant came to assist and the door still wouldn’t open. The 3rd room 1706 was dirty, had eye lashes on the wall, a comb on the floor. Sink dirty, microwave dirty. The manager appearance was inappropriate so was the front dest clerk.

Staff were so friendly and made everything so enjoyable! So many different options to explore around the area. The room was so nice, great value and cleanliness for how affordable it was. 10/10 would come again! Shout out to the Friday night front desk for a fabulous and laughable welcome:)
- 3/5
The room itself was for sure a great deal! Clean, spacious, however the tv in the bedroom didn’t work half the time and the toilet ran constantly.
- 1/5
Incredibly loud night club downstairs adjacent to this hotel on a Saturday night. Avoid.
- 5/5
The area seems run down, but it's actually quite a busy area. Full of night life and such. Catch a concert nearby or karaoke night at restaurant. The hotel offers valet parking only. The lot is tiny so it makes sense. You can park on the streets with the meters. Just be aware of the hours and rules. Breakfast was nice. Several hot food items and cold offered. Staff was friendly and helpful! I will stay here again.
- 4/5
Room could of been cleaner refrigerator didnt work very limited food for breakfast same food daily valet parking was really high andthere was not a mention of 160.00 incidents charge. We will not stay again. Plus hotel smelt like Marijuana everywhere.

Love it good staff
- 1/5
Staff rude, food was lacking (ran out of breakfast), kept security deposit despite saying it's been returned, poor communication afterwards and ignored messages.
- 3/5
No one came to clean the room the four days I stayed so our trash built up. We asked for our room to be cleaned but still wasn’t. Really the only issue is the cleaning staff never gave towels, toilet paper and take out any trash. Front desk staff was amazing.

we don’t like staff

There were plenty of pros and cons of our stay here. The staff were super friendly, the free breakfast was good, and the location was very convenient. We were right across the street from the train station and The Underground. The cons were: The first room we got looked like it had been halfway cleaned. No sheets on the beds, trash in the room, and dirty towels left in the room. Luckily the man at the front desk was very quick to get us a new room. Also, the valet parking was pretty pricey. $110 is a lot to spend on parking for just two nights. Personally, I would probably plan to find alternative options ahead of time. The man working the valet was super friendly though, definitely appreciated the effort he put in. Last thing, the deposit was on the higher end, so if you’re not prepared to have an extra few hundred held for the weekend, it can be a pretty big setback.

During my stay, I received outstanding assistance from Latisha at the front desk. I was unsure about which train to take to my next destination (Chris brown concert ) and she patiently walked me through the details, even helping me find the correct schedule and directions. Her professionalism, knowledge, and genuine willingness to help made a huge difference in my travel experience. Excellent customer service from everyone at the Connally hotel!

It was perfect...

Our room did not have the amenities that were suppose to come in the room(which we had to ask for) Furniture was broken which was a hazard. This was to be a anniversary trip(22years) and this just wasn’t perfect on the end concerning our hotel stay
- 5/5
The hotel is great. The area is a little outside the hotel area
- 5/5
Clean room and very friendly staff there. The complimentary breakfast was a life saver! And i felt safe at night knowing you can only get in the building with a room key

It was close to the concert venue which was convenient. But the hotel smelled musty, I felt like I was breathing in mold spores the whole time. We tried to check in early which we knew might not be a possibility but the front desk staff was rather rude about it. The toilet wouldn’t flush. The room could’ve been cleaner and definitely needs a remodel- ours had an extreme amount of general wear and tear which was in poor show.

I enjoyed myself

Overall not a place I would ever recommend! It's the little things that make a stay good, and it's the little things that make a stay bad -- like having no coffee lids for the scalding hot coffee, or having a toilet that runs all night unless you jiggle the handle the right way. Inexplicably my room was never serviced, which I consider a minimum. Apparently the fire alarm went off in the night and everyone had to evacuate one of the nights...but I slept through it. Glad it wasn't an actual fire? They also did not release my room deposit and could not be contacted directly. The building is cute and historic, but the area is full of catcallers. Literally stay anywhere else.

Be aware that parking is $55/USD a night. Close to the underground, night club area. Really sketchy area, however i never felt unsafe at any time

Shops nearby.

The staff offered the best Southern Hospitality! My room was quiet and comfortable. I had a few issues, but maintenance responded quickly.

No hoy wate

Many of the things in the room were broken including the door latch, towel holder and the toilet seat would simply just fall off if you touched it.
- 3/5
The week before my trip I was in the hospital and my debit card was hacked so I had to get another one. Upon check in the staff attempted to charge me again utilizing my new card even though records showed it had been paid 2 months prior upon booking the room. The motel was next to the local tram, which meant the train’s horn blew every hour even at night. The shower gel dispenser was bone dry, which I had to end up calling the front desk to have replenished by day 2 of our trip. Twice the staff just walked into our room without even knocking prior to make us aware of them entering, which was rather daunting. Also we left one morning to return only a couple hours later to a room where our door had been left propped open (housekeeper?) The light over the microwave was burnt out and the adjoining room doors handle fell off. I could probably think of some other things also, but it was not what I had envisioned.

The room had roaches and bugs it was also filthy
- 5/5
The property was great and the staff was awesome. The only thing that worried me were all the homeless people asking for money or rides
- 4/5
The room was comfortable but the sheets were a bit stained which I didn’t notice until the end of my stay when I stripped the bed. The staff was friendly and helpful. The area is more urban but at no point did I feel unsafe in the area and I walked around a bit at night. I noticed reviews mentioning homeless people around but they didn’t bother anyone. I liked that you needed a keycard to get into the hotel. The breakfast was great I like the breakfast sandwich option. I would definitely book this room again on my next trip to Atlanta.

This is my second year staying here and I really like it because the location is very convenient. Nice and comfortable rooms. Only issue I had was when I got to my room the door was already open. I checked everything out and nothing was out of place. The breakfast was terrible. Last year it was more options and everything was delicious
- 5/5
Location was sketchy and lots of homeless and unfavorable dealings happening. Police presence was a little more comforting. It is across the street from the subway.
- 4/5
Staff was very helpful and friendly

Would have given higher scores had my room been ready when I checked in at 4. I had to sit in the lobby with a handful of other guests as we waited for the staff to turn our rooms.

Everything was great

Our room looked dirty, it didn’t have a curtain in the bathroom, one guy at valet was rude.
- 5/5
Staff was delightful and very helpful.
- 1/5
The check in process took over an hour, we got a completely different room than I paid for just because it was all that was available immediately, and the toilet didn’t work properly. The staff was all incredibly friendly though- they were a 10/10!

Very close to tourist attractions
