The Burgess Hotel, Atlanta, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

This hotel is a hidden gem! The service and food (dinner and breakfast) were amazing! The hotel is very eclectic and beautiful in a very cosey but elegant fashion! Staff is friendly and very helpful and warm! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The staff was kind and helpful. The lobby and bar decor were beautiful and created a lovely relaxing atmosphere. The hotel is definitely overpriced. This is an older hotel that has been renovated. The rooms were nothing special (on par with any decent chain hotel with slightly better decor). The air conditioner in our room was never able to get the temperature below 70. I was really expecting more for 350$ a night. Couple that with the exorbitant prices at the in house restaurant, and one night in a mediocre room with a forgettable dinner cost over 700$.

This was a boutique hotel with a great bar and surrounding lounge area. It was perfect for a gathering of about 12. The rooms were nice and clean, and the location was excellent. We had a dinner reservation for Hal's, and decided to walk when we realized how close it was. It was super convenient. The staff were extremely helpful upon check-in as well as friendly throughout our stay It seemed a little pricey for just an overnight stay. Parking was an additional $30

Honestly kind of felt like a gussied up Holiday Inn express. We did get stuck in the elevator which was concerning. That being said the restaurant and the bar were awesome.

We ate breakfast and dinner at Fia, the inhouse restaurant and relaxed at the fireplace/bar with wine/cocktails. Could not have been any better! I highly recommend this hotel when visiting Buckhead/Atlanta and my family will definitely be back.

This is a really nice boutique hotel in the north Buckhead area of Atlanta. It is certainly not your typical hotel/motel. The staff were excellent and very welcoming. I would definitely stay here on our next trip to ATL.

We have to stay here before, and knew what to expect. We took our bag to room, and came downstairs to go sit by the pool and get a drink. No one was available at the bar and we stood there for 10 minutes until the young lady that was working behind the bar came back with some boxes of drinks that she was real stocking the bar with. Overall, it seemed that there was very little staff and no one to really help if you were standing and waiting. We usually do a stay away in Buckhead or Atlanta once a month because we live south of the city, this is the second time we have been there, but this is probably the last time that we will stay here. I think room service knocking on the door at 8 AM to clean the room when our checkout is at 11 AM was the final straw.

The light under the bathroom counter is wonderful until you want to sleep. Even with the barn door style door closed, the light was very bright in the room. We had a room facing the street side and the traffic was pretty loud.

Funeka at reception was phenomenal and she made our check-in pleasant. The food at the restaurant is excellent as they use a wood fire to cook on. I recommend it for a stay in Atlanta as it is close to good restaurants.

The room was a nice size. Plenty of mirrors but the lighting is low/soft in the rooms, so the bathroom is the only place to put on makeup. There is no makeup mirror in the bathrooms either. The room was clean and smelled nice. The beds are comfy but the pillows are okay. Try to get a higher room if you dont want a view of parking spaces. Parking is plentiful and easy. The hotel is very central to everything. You can smell the food from the resturant downstairs in the hallways so if food smells bother you take that into consideration. Vallet was not always around, so go to the front desk for assistance. Overall it was a nice stay. The staff was very helpful and nice.

The hotel staff and management provided prompt, personalized service, while I was celebrating my birthday. This was a great place to stay for an event we were in town for. My only suggestion is that you provide some type of morning coffee and juices complimentary.

We had a room facing thr road and between the speeeding motorcycles, dog in another room and all thr orher vehicles racing by. It was hard to sleep at night. The staff were very attentive and polite. Every corner is nicely decorated and with attention to detail. It was a great place for some relaxation. The restaurant had amazing food! A hot tub would be a nice addition :)

The room is really nice but the bed, the matress is so soft so soft that I had pain for hours!!! They need to change urgent!!! Also the employees are not so nice! The food is extremly expensive!!! The restaurant has abusive prices also the parking is very expensive to be in open air! So does not matter the hotel is pretty if is not comfortable!!!!

The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious and the staff could not be more accommodating. Beautifully appointed and the room accommodations were perfect - we will absolutely be back and already look forward to it! The neighborhood was terrific too with many options for dining as well. We highly recommend The Burgess Hotel for an overnight or simply an evening cocktail or meal.

Boutique hotel in northern Buckhead near Hal's. I don't know what it was before but it feels like a remodeled/upgraded national chain. Nice bar and the food was pretty good but expensive. All in all a nice little find.

AMAZING!!!!!! I would go back to Atlanta just to stay here again and not go anywhere else. Fantastic staff calls you by name, fabulous restaurant, gorgeous decor. I have stayed at 1000's of hotels and this is one of the best!! Highly, highly recommend.

The hotel was great looking and in a great location for what we needed. The restaurant is only open from 5pm-10pm so if you are looking for food earlier or later you will find Doordash/Uber Eats to be helpful.

I loved my experience at the Burgess, without the exception of one area: food and drink. The breakfast offerings and available snacks were really poor. Plus, it was hard to just get a glass of water. Other than that, it was wonderful.

I arrived at almost 10pm and Mr. Yannick was waiting to greet us. So very welcoming and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It was super clean and quiet. We were in town only for the weekend dropping our two kiddos off at the summer camp.

I absolutely LOVED this hotel. Would definitely stay there again and recommend. But, I did give you a 0 on eco friendliness because, when I checked in I asked if I could walk to Chasten Park Amphitheater and was told "no" - busy road, too far etc. BUT - it is actually an easy walk that takes <30 minutes and most of it is on the Chasten Park bike/ped trail with a little bit of busy road WITH GOOD sidewalk and crosswalks etc nearer the hotel. Absolutely no reason not to walk over in the daylight and UBER back.

To our surprise, there was a small treat with a hand written card waiting in our room after dinner and cocktails. The hotel manager also provided us with complimentary wine while down at the bar. We really appreciate the hospitality shown. Loved everything about this place in its entirety. Lovely decor throughout the hotel with great ambiance. Definitely looking forward to going back.

Had a wonderful stay. Yannick -the manager- was outstanding. He was so helpful and paid attention to every single detail. I will be returning here ....it's a great Hotel.

The location is also very central so you won’t have an issue getting anywhere. And the drinks at the Bar are pretty good. I’ll definitely stay here again in the future when I am in the USA again. My wife and I travel a lot. We were very pleasantly surprised. It felt very upscale. The restaurant and bar are fantastic. The best thing we felt was the friendliness of the employees and how eager they were to help. The rooms very nice with comfortable beds. Would definitely stay here again!

We booked a suite and another room for my daughter’s bachelorette weekend! The staff were great and they were very accommodating! The rooms were very clean. The hotel is so beautiful! Would definitely recommend amd would stay again!

THE STAY WAS GREAT!! ONLY ISSUE WAS OUR IRON HAD RUST IN IT AND GOT ON MY HUSBANDS SHIRT. PROBABLY HADNT BEEN USED IN AWHILE BUT NEVERLESS IT HAPPENED.

Hidden gem of ATL!! Room was beautiful, brand new hotel (remodeled)

It exceeded my expectations. The lobby was gorgeous. We loved the bar & library. A feast for the eyes. The beds were also very comfortable.

The property is nicely appointed and updated. It is conveniently located in Buckhead and affordable.

The big negative for me was that while the restaurant is open, it is only open for dinner and there is no breakfast service at all on property. Overall a good nights sleep but the lack of breakfast was a negative.

Charge. The area is nice very high end hotel for a for a fresh price. There were lots of restaurants nearby and even the mall

I truly enjoyed my stay. I absolutely LOVED the decor. It was stylish and tastefully done. The staff was pleasant and attentive. I would definitely stay there again and refer friends and family as well.

Regarding the room, it was modern, stylish and quite comfortable. The only issue was the weird barn door for the bathroom-- it didn't close completely or provide any real privacy. There was also no way to lock the door. This is not the only hotel we've stayed at with this "trendy" yet entirely nonfunctional door type. Otherwise, staff was fantastic and the hotel was amazing.
