Reviews
The hotel is praised for its convenient location, particularly its proximity to the Georgia Aquarium, and the friendly, helpful staff. However, there are consistent complaints about the valet-only parking and its cost, as well as issues with room cleanliness and comfort.

Mariah was so helpful in helping us get checked in and making sure we had everything we needed!

Overall i enjoyed my stay.

Only complaint I have is the valet parking. It’s an inconvenience, since there is only one way in and out. I had to wait a while to check in because I could not pull into parking garage due to other families leaving. Valet staff were amazing tho.

Room was not clean looking. Stains on walls, leather on headboard torn, stains on pull out sofa bed. Was given a key to a room that was occupied and walked in on people. Had to go back to front desk for another room which was as described above. Parking garage is pretty sketchy, I was asked to reverse out into the street to let someone get out. I left and booked another hotel, it was a terrible experience for me, my wife and kids.
- 5/5
We stayed in a 1 King Bed - sofa bed and it accommodated my family of 5 perfectly (the kids took the bed and we took the sofa bed). The room was clean and the location was perfect since the attractions we were visiting was LITERALLY right across the street. We could see the whale shark covering to the Georgia Aquarium from our hotel window which the kids LOVED! On our next visit, we will FOR SURE be booking and staying at this hotel again! Thank you SpringHill Suites!

Staff was helpful friendly and always speaking whether good morning, have a nice day or welcome back. I left an item in the room when I realized I left called them and asked if I pay to have it returned they return it but as if this morning housekeeping has not responded.

No one knew what they were doing. Took two trips and 2 1/2 hours to check in, even though I booked 3 rooms together, 2 MONTHS in advance, they said they did not have the rooms we booked. They finally came up with 3 rooms on 3 different floors. The grandmother was separated from her family floors, away. Location is spectacular. Checking in was a nightmare for ALL guests. Not just us. Get it together Springhill!!!

Location Comp Breakfast Views Nice staff Vallet was great and great staff The room had stains on sheets and on the blinds. Also bed side tables was highly dusty. Also time walking in remote was falling apart. Headboard all scratched up and peeling above head. Also after night one , they switched system which checked me out, also charged me another 227 while I’m out at dinner. Was told the system did it and checked me out and charged me again. I have to wait a week for over $200 to hit my account back. Also I called about the charge if I didn’t was someone going to notify me ? Was anyone going to call and say I need to come and redo my keys ? Or wait until I went to room and seen they wasn’t working ? To charge my card like that I should have been notified or not change when it could possibly be charging them money. It completely ruined my day of vacation due to extra funds being taken bc a system checked me out on top of already paying my full stay and deposit at check in..

The valet was quick & kind. Personable people are important in hospitality. First off, when you walk into the hotel, it smells like urine. I had to wait awhile as the check-in process was slow. Customer service was good but check in process was a little unorganized. I checked in and went into my room, instantly noticing debris. Signs of a previous guest when you are checking in is not a good sign. The bed was dirty, pillowcases weren’t fresh or changed. Dust was everywhere, a sticky substance near the stand under the TV. Makeup & food stains on the sheets, bottom cover was all torn up. I was not satisfied with this experience. I went down to the front desk and was switched to a new room. The new room also had a few issues. Headboard was ripped and scratched (very noticeable) Dusty and there is a dripping sound coming from the ceiling. A/C is loud and street noise is EXTREMELY loud. If you are a light sleeper, you will not enjoy this. To make matters worse, the TV did not work and also had the incorrect guest name on it! I was worried that someone else might walk in on me. The breakfast was dry and unimpressive. I only received an apology for the uncleanliness. No compensation or credit extended for your inconvenience is not right. Organization is important & this place lacks such skills.

Broken privacy/black out curtains and no shower curtains in our room. Was offered to be put in a new room but no separate beds and smaller if I remember correctly.
- 4/5
The good: the front desk staff was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was good but not fantastic. Our room was clean and quiet. The bad: there were numerous repairs that need to be made—the desk was falling apart, the railing in the elevator was falling off, etc. and the mattress was worn. Valet parking is expensive but both attendants we met were very accommodating and professional. Would stay again if going to the aquarium—very convenient.

The location was in a great area. The valet associates were all awesome! They were all very nice, professional and quick when my vehicle was requested. I sent the texted when leaving my room & once I got to the garage my vehicle was either there and it was not i never waited no longer the 3minutes for it to arrive! Hotel breakfast was great & plentiful! There was a $55 overnight/per night valet charge that was not included in the booking agreement. I was not made aware of this charge until I was on the property and trying to check in! With that being said I was hit with an $110 additional expense once there. The desk receptionist was very nonchalant and I am more then sure was well aware that 3rd party sites does not include this information. Also, check-in is at 3 & the hotel also approved my additional request to have my room ready at my arrival at 3pm and I was left still having to wait until after 4pm for my room once I arrived because they "ran out of rooms that I reserved the night before". Also, the water takes about 5 minutes to get hot and the water in the sink takes forever to go down& dirt backs up in it.

The location of the hotel and valet parking were convenient. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room however was not satisfactory. There was virtually no water pressure in the sink. We thought we'd tolerate that as it was only for a night, but between 11 PM and 1:00 AM the A/C ran extremely cold when set at 68 degrees and there was no way to adjust the air flow. When we adjusted the temp to 70, the heat turned on, raised the temperature to 78 despite our efforts to readjust it to a more moderate temp, making it uncomfortably hot in the room. We had to turn off the entire system and it was still blowing hot air. At 1:00 am we requested to be moved to another room which was satisfactory, but completely inconvenient. Glad there was a room available to move to! The water pressure was the same, so we assumed this to be the norm for this hotel, perhaps their attempt to conserve and take an environmentally friendly approach. We will not be revisiting this hotel in the future.
- 3/5
Very disappointed to find an additional $55 charge for parking on top of the nightly rate.

From the start I liked the secure valet parking, then the location of the hotel was awesome. It was close to all the attractions. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our TV wouldn't turn on and within 15 min they had someone come to the room to fix it. Breakfast was great. The room was spacious and beautiful and clean. We will definitely be staying there again

We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite and upon arrival to our room there was a dirty towel behind our front door, balls of hair outside of the room door, the AC rattled and did not cool. It got very warm overnight in the room. Overall not a hotel I would recommend. The staff couldn’t care less about requests, such as for bedding or towels, you’ll end up asking multiple times. They do not have a pool either. There are plenty of other places to stay in the area.

Had an excellent experience! I travel to Atlanta often to visit my son at Morehouse, and this has by far been my best stay. Ms. Ruby at the front desk was incredibly welcoming, accommodating, and helpful. As a solo traveler, she made me feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout my stay. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be returning.

Hotel was good and clean, staff were helpful, especially the valet parking team, very nice people. It is in downtown, good location. I didn’t like the bed and the pillows because they were extremely soft, the A/A was in auto mode and every time it stopped it was very hot so i would have preferred a regular mode A/A instead but i couldn't change it. Cookies every afternoon were delicious. The bar was good too. In general, it is a good option.

The daily breakfast menu was diverse and tasted better than expected for a continental breakfast. The valet parking was easy to use and accessing my car never took longer than five minutes. The location was directly across the street from the Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca Cola, and more - a prime location for these family activities. The location was also only about one minute from I-85. The best part of the experience was the consistently kind and friendly experiences with every staff member. From the front desk to the bartender to the valet staff, we were always treated exceptionally well, greeted, given great advice about activities in Atlanta, and interacted with using great care. It was impressive!
- 4/5
The room lightening was a bit dim and I couldn’t get the thermostat to the right temperature. The bathroom was very satisfactory. The breakfast was great however not enough space to sit and eat. Overall I give it a 9/10 as I did enjoy my stay, I will be recommending it to others and will stay again when in that part of of the country

- 0.5/5
Apart from the location, everything was beyond WORSE. I can say there was no customer experience and no room service available. The trash in my room was there for 3 days, no one came to clean, remove. No body wash, no towels are replaced like NOTHING. The cleaning team didn't understand english so there was no way to have any sort of communcation and the receptionist said yes, but nothing was done.
- 4/5
Beds very comfortable. Pillows not firm enough. We really like our room layout. There was loose wallpaper by the bathroom door. And, The plastic edging on the shower ooor was coming off. They were very thoughtful to call and inquire if our room was satisfactory but we had just walked i and had not had time to look around.
- 1/5
Worst experience ever. Extremely dirty. House cleaning staffs never came during our entire stay of five days even after repeatedly asking for the service. I paid extra for city view and the blinds never worked after complaining the staff said they can’t do anything about it as the motor were not working. Not a single appliance was working including iron, television, flush, basin or telephone to connect to the reception. Also, the breakfast was horrible with not a single vegetarian option.
- 5/5
Thank you Ruby! The low water pressure in bathroom sink and refrigerator wasnt as cold.

The Gym was good but the Equipment were not maintained
- 3/5
Front Staff was amazing! Room didn't get cleaned left out early in morning so no excuse for it not to get cleaned, furniture rough looking, lights flickered, close to Aquarium.
- 3/5
Room had coffee stains, a questionable brown substance on the walls, nicks in the paint and scratches in the furniture. Crumbs on the floor. Sheets were fresh but its hard to tell if the rest of the room was attended to. No pool or hot tub. Staff was very friendly from valet to front desk. Breakfast was fine except the only table available was beneath a vent that we found out was dripping water (very slowly so hard to notice). Odd experience honestly, but the hotel does seem newer and is nice inside. Great location. Check in and out was a breeze.

At 10:45 the first night, the fire alarm went off and were told to exit the building. By the time we were dressed and ready to leave, a staff member came through and said someone set off the alarm smoking in the stairwell. At 12:41am the alarm went off again. This time we got up and dressed and walked down 12 flights of stairs . Guests were all in the lobby along with the Atlanta fire department. After a while we all went up the elevator to our rooms. The alarm went off a total of 8 more times through the night until 8:45 the next morning. It was cut off before the voice demanded us to leave the building, but the damage was done. No sleep. To their credit our room was comped for that night. Breakfast was good. Nice choices but we sifted coffee grounds through our teeth. Staff play video games on their phones loudly. The best workers were the valet staff.

I stayed from the 2nd-4th of January. When booking paying for parking wasn't mentioned. It just said parking available, nothing about paying $55 per night. Night staff super rude and ghetto. My room didn't have toilet paper and I waited a decade for them to bring some, (the nice old man security guard was the one who brought it to the room) I had paid for a room with a king bed and a double sofa. No double sofa just the king bed and a chair. On the plus side my view was amazing facing the city, breakfast was yummy and day staff super friendly.

Bed was very uncomfortable and room was very small. The free breakfast is ok but nothing special. Can’t beat free right! Only parking is valet parking for 55 bucks a night. Only great thing was the location which was right across from the aquarium.

Room was very nice and clean but you could hear every noise outside and inside. We also arrived well after check in time and still had to sit around and wait while they got a room ready for us which was a bit annoying after our long journey.

Staff. Young ladies working desk were absolutely amazing. Very attentive, and focused on providing a great customer experience. I will be back to this hotel because of them. We usually stay at CNN center but that will now change. Mya was the best and is a true asset to the company

The hotel and staff was amazing. Clean, friendly and the breakfast was one of the best we’ve had. The water pressure was low in the shower but doable, my biggest issue was not with the hotel but with the area. Didn’t love downtown Atlanta but that’s not something the hotel can do anything about. The security staff was on top of keeping non guests out of the property so that was very nice.

Our room has bottle beer from previous guests. The elevator broke down several times making my handicapped grandmother had to wait for a while to get back to her room. The room service did not replenish toilet paper and towels. We definitely won't be back.

There's a few things I would improve. Towels are crunchy and need update, the room my family stayed in had humidity on the wall where the shower splashes, A/C needed a restart that staff member came fast to help with. My son slept on the pullout couch/bed. It was hard to sleep on. Very uncomfortable. The distance to everything in downtown is perfect! I recommend this stay.

This hotel was a perfect fit for a family with the Georgia Aquarium on the itinerary. The location can’t be beat and the staff was welcoming and helpful. The front desk was efficient and pleasant. The rooms were clean and stocked. The pub offered quick, family friendly options with the most delightful server. Breakfast was above and beyond- no reason to search for other options. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it for families and/or couples looking to explore Atlanta.

Excellent service

Receptionist at front desk was excellent. Washbasin drain seemed blocked and water pressure in basin pipe was low.
- 5/5
Excellent service by staff and employees.
- 2/5
The staff attitude was not attractive. The packing with valets was terrible. $55.00 per day is way too high, almost the price of a day of hotel stays. Staff use my friend Truist debit card for their own purpose without my friend consent. $70.00 was taken off her debit card without making any extra transaction. Please, investigate that transaction for her as it appears really questionable. She uses her card to pay only a portion of the hotel fees only once, but her card information was used twice. We have no clue about the second transaction. Please, help her to get that money to be refunded to her Truist debit card. I will appreciation as the second transaction was made by Spring Hill staff. thank you
- 5/5
Everything and everyone was great. I did let the desk know that the pull down shades in our room did not work (would not go up), but it wasn’t a big issue.
- 4/5
The room service was good, cleaned and folded things and left it nice and neat. The MAJOR MAJOR down side was that even though there is parking, PARKING IS VALET ONLY, $55 A DAY. FREAKING INSANE!!!!

Rooms were very clean just a few cosmetics that come with normal wear and tear. I felt safe here and enjoyed my stay.
- 5/5
Everything was very clean and staff was so friendly and helpful. Only one comment, the toilet was in a very CLOSE area and for a big person it was an issue. Why the room was designed like that I don't know. But is was all A+ stay...........totally enjoyed....thanks
- 2/5
I’m giving this hotel two stars because of the check-in experience. The young woman working the front desk at check-in was rude, dismissive, and accusatory, which set a negative tone from the start. For the price I paid, I expected professionalism and basic hospitality, but that wasn’t the case. I do want to highlight that the valet staff were incredibly kind and helpful — truly the best part of the stay. However, the hotel should be upfront about the mandatory $55 valet parking charge, especially since there are no other parking options. It felt misleading not to disclose that clearly before arrival. Check-out was smooth and handled well, but the check-in issues and lack of transparency overshadowed everything else. I wouldn’t return unless the guest experience improves.
- 5/5
Clean room, the staff was awesome I love everything.
- 1/5
We forgot 5 bottles of top-tier wines purchased from our wine tour. Immediately we noticed that we forgot them, we called the hotel to alert them. They have not been helpful. No one wants to give us an answer. They are passing the buck from one person to the next. These were expensive wines that we bought as gifts for friends and family and also to market Georgia as a wine destination
- 5/5
The room was clean and a. And the location was perfect.
- 5/5
Staff were amazing and very helpful!! Room was clean and amenities were very nice.
- 5/5
Breakfast was great, staff exceptional, pretty close to walk to most main attractions within 15 minutes.
- 3/5
We were given a room for someone with disabilities. I was shocked and when I inquired why I was told that was the only available room to my surprise. Granted I made reservations and paid for our two night stay in September.

- 5/5
Wonderful experience
- 5/5
The coffee machine was broke.
- 3/5
I have stayed there serval times but it’s not the same. It was things like the phone that was broke. It was hair on towels and no toilet paper so clearly the room wasn’t cleaned properly after the last guest. The hotel stay is too expensive to be next to the shelters in my opinion.
- 5/5
Everything!
- 5/5
Clean, friendly front end people. Really nice place. Great location.
- 5/5
Great clean hotel. Across the street from the Aquarium and a 10 min walk to the State Farm Arena. Good free breakfast too.
- 3/5
The room had a little deferred maintenance- a peeling roof in the shower, pleather peeled from the headboard. The outside noise is considerable- very little sound insulation.
- 5/5
:)
- 5/5
Staff was great
- 5/5
Clean room, comfy bed and big shower.
- 4/5
Room was large and clean. Breakfast was plentiful and had several of the standard options. My only complaint is that I was told the outrageously expensive parking ($55 per night) would be deducted from the also outrageously expensive "incidental's" deposit of $50 a night. $100 was held upon check in and another $60 that same night. No one cared so I suspect it is a common occurrence.
- 3/5
Staff are amazing. However the rooms are definitely showing wear and tear and it’s so noisy at night (traffic, street noise, nearby club) we barely slept at all.
- 4/5
The room was nice and clean. The beds were comfortable but the head boards needed replacing. The materials on them were peeling and waring off. The bathroom was small but ok. Although the toilet was very low and the shower had a constant drip. We had to close the door at night to try and drown the noise out. The fridge and microwave were very convenient and a must for us. The ottoman that was in the room was way to big for the space. There was no place to put it if u sat on the couch and at the desk. The price was decent and the continental breakfast was always pretty good. I would stay here again because of the convenient location and the staff.
- 5/5
This was a great place to stay, convenient to everything I needed. Staff was polite, understanding and helpful..my stay was comfortable and good. I love the added valet where all I had to do was scan code and my car would be ready..
- 5/5
Everything was great, although i extended my stay at the last minute they worked with me with keeping the same room. Staff was great, polite and understanding. I will recommend..
- 5/5
Great hotel
- 5/5
The room was great minus some cosmetic blemishes on the headboard and other spots. Bed and pillows were super comfy. Staff was nice. Breakfast was delicious.
- 4/5
Good for university visitors.
- 4/5
Room was spotless, although missing hand soap at first (no big deal)! Staff was very friendly! Gym was more than adequate. Breakfast was great; I wish there was some more variety, but nothing to complain about. Their small oatmeal station was fantastic and genuinely something to look forward to in the morning. The only “compliant” I have is with the location. If you are looking for an easy stay near stadiums, the aquarium, or the world of coke, it’s pretty hard to beat. But, if you are interested in taking the MARTA around to explore Atlanta, there might be some better locations.
- 5/5
The hotel was clean. The staff and valet were friendly and professional at all times. Great location. If the beds weren't too firm and uncomfortable, I would stay again.
- 5/5
Front desk staff amazing, secrity guard friendly. Happy place to stay!
- 3/5
Overall it was a fine stay. Room clean, breakfast fine, staff attentive. Our room was having great views (which we paid extra for) Unfortunately they were impaired by power cables and mast (which you couldn't see on their website pictures) Room wasn't soundproof, so loud street noise impacted our sleep. At the price we expected a bit better.
- 3/5
Room was clean but smelly. Staff was very friendly. On a noisy street. Customers should be aware that valet is only parking option and priced at an additional $55.
- 5/5
The location was awesome as we were right across the street from the Georgia aquarium and the world of Coca-Cola. Hotel offered some great prices on the aquarium tickets. Room was clean and nice and updated. The staff was amazing. The breakfast choices could’ve been better. Most hotels have a couple choices of either scrambled eggs and another option as well as potatoes and a meat.. Would definitely recommend the hotel for the price and the location and we are there on a Saturday and Sunday night..
- 5/5
Breakfast menu was different each day. And the staff was very nice.
- 5/5
Quiet, clean, great location to main events. Awesome staff and customer service.
- 5/5
Amazing prope
- 4/5
On the other hand, the bed was very comfortable. The location was great as well and the view to the city from our room gorgeous. We will stay again in this hotel.
- 5/5
Very fast and easy
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful
- 5/5
Best hotel ever no more to say everything clean area very safely.
- 4/5
Breakfast is good. Friendly and helpful staff. Not so quiet at night, can hear horns blowing outside and if you’re close to the elevator, you can hear lots of people walking/talking in the hall. I stayed in a room opposite the aquarium. However, the stay was overall good.
- 5/5
The hotel is in the touristy part of Atlanta on a quiet street behind the aquarium. Shout out to the amazing view of midtown from my room!
- 5/5
Clean room, nice staff, decent gym
- 5/5
Yes everything was wonderful
- 5/5
Staff was AhMaziiing!! They were very tentative and helpful. Special shout out to Mariah, Mya, and Carlton. Very helpful, kind, informative, and all around a pleasure. Mariah and Carlton especially were the two that helped me . Definitely would stay again.
- 5/5
Nightlife next door was terrible till early hours of the morning!
- 4/5
This was a very nice property. Clean, nice setup and a very good complimentary breakfast. My only complaint which isnt really a big deal was that the property has valet that pretty much isnt optional. I was asked several times if I wanted to valet my parking like I had a choice. I just hadnt realized when booking that there was no self parking but again it was no major biggie. I would certainly stay again as the property is within walking distance to a number of restaurants, shops, the aquarium and the GTech campus.
- 4/5
Good location, good value. Room was basic, clean, and comfortable. Front desk staff was super helpful and responsive, knowledgeable, and very pleasant. Thanks Ruby! we had some basic room maintenance issues, but front staff was very qick to address and very cheerfully. Breakfast better than expected. Id stay there again!
- 5/5
Not many fast food shops nearby, but great service at the location. On the weekend (even while I was on the 12th floor) the night club next door was noisy enough to keep me up until 3 am. I did enjoy my stay though.
- 5/5
Great room
- 2/5
It was convenient but expensive for what you get. Hotel room was 240$ parking was $55 -- our room was covered it hair. It was honestly comical.... long black hairs from a woman- i mean they were in the sheets, under the pillows, on the tables- and the microwave was VERYVERYVERY dirty (wish i took pictures) room was 706
- 5/5
Clean,helpful nice staff
- 5/5
Staff and accommodations were great. Will be back
- 5/5
Didn't check out the gym
- 5/5
Very convenient to our activities
- 5/5
Clean room, great bathroom
- 5/5
Room was great and clean. Our room temperature was odd. It felt a bit humid but it was cool at the same time. It’s hard to explain but it was comfortable. Hotel was clean and staff was really nice.
- 2/5
Keys didn’t work multiple times trying to get into our room. When we got to our room it was not the room we had booked online. Our blinds didn’t work- they had to come change batteries. The morning I woke up to check out they had charged me for $400 in valet fees- I did not have a car. Needless to say, I will not be staying here again. I expected more from a Marriott property than this.
- 3/5
Our room was right under the gym. Why would a gym be above rooms where people are sleeping. So I was woken up both mornings with the sound of people dropping weights on the floor
- 4/5
Our stay was great. Right next door to the aquarium and World of Coca-Cola. Short walk to the
- 3/5
Area was good
- 5/5
Convenient to lots of attractions. Great staff and amenities.
- 4/5
Pros: amazing staff who greeted us with smiles each time we entered, clean, safe, and one of the most amazing “free” breakfast buffets we have had at a hotel. I will 100% be staying again but opting out of valet- although the valets were amazing as well.
- 3/5
Our stay started off so well. Very friendly staff. Great facility. Close to tourist points. Rooms were clean. The property is extremely noisy from bar in adjacent property. We were the 10th floor and it was so loud - screaming DJ and didn't end until 3am. I read alot of reviews and only saw a couple talking about noise. It's bad. I did read that it's only on Monday and Friday nights (not sure 100%), we were a Monday night stay. If you plan to stay one of these nights, plan on no sleep.
- 5/5
It was a good experience
- 5/5

- 5/5
Excelent
- 5/5
Great hotel!
- 5/5
The staff was excellent!
- 5/5
Love the stay. Friendly staff breakfast was great and its walking distance if your going to the game
- 3/5
The hotel is very nice, but parking is not existent without valet, which is quite expensive. Breakfast is supposed to be served till 10 am, but food stopped coming out well before that, so finding something to eat at 9:40 am proved difficult. The staff was very friendly, and location was excellent. If your intense is to go to a Georgia Tech game, visit the varsity, visit the Georgia aquarium, or visit the world of Coca-Cola. All are within walking distance. There’s a nightclub next-door to the hotel that played extremely loud music until 2 AM on Friday night. Even on the 12th floor, it was impossible to get some rest. Saturday night was better.
- 4/5
The service personnel are great! The room was ok - toilet had a slow leak inside so it kept having to refill. There were some type of snack food crumbs on the floor, the faucet on the sink was loose, and the iron didn’t work very well - at least steam wise. Valet parking seemed pricey at $55 a night but then I don’t really know because I don’t live in a big city where you have to pay to park. The hotel is right across the street from interesting city sites like the aquarium and Coke museum so that was handy. The continental breakfast was standard as far as free hotel breakfasts go - nothing to write home about.
- 1/5
Never stayed at this hotel, had an emergency, however when pulling up to this hotel, the surrounding area was horrible - Homeless people, drugs, dirty and very unsafe!!!!
- 4/5
I liked the modern 2-bed room my friend and I stayed in, and the staff were very efficient and friendly. Especially Ms. Ruby, she was welcoming and kind every morning!
- 5/5
And everyone was friendly
- 5/5
The Springhill Suites had a unique theme. It was modernized but showcased historical maps of Atlanta hidden in the design of the hotels decorations. Breakfast was pleasant as well. It was worth noting that even though there was a football game and a convention going on, the hotel breakfast bar was stocked and never had a line. The staff were very friendly and greeted us anytime we returned to the hotel lobby. The front desk staff also made accommodations to have an early check in which was very helpful for our group
- 5/5
Hotel was very clean and room was very nice with an excellent city view.
- 5/5
I was able to do early checkin(middle of week) staff was knowledgeable about the area.
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 5/5
Overall, this property delivers the consistency and hospitality I look for when I book with Marriott. Five stars—would happily return and recommend to anyone visiting ATL.
- 5/5
I was good
- 5/5
So glad I booked this hotel. It was right where I wanted to be and I felt safe walking around the area during the day. Great location. I checked in during a rain storm and Ruby at the desk was gracious enough to allow me to check in early and was SO helpful throughout my stay!
- 4/5
Was alright
- 5/5
Staff was excellent
- 5/5
Very nice property next to area attractions.
- 3/5
Facility was fine. Know before you go: valet parking ONLY, $50/night.
- 2/5
The property was in a great location. Literally across the street fro. The Aquarium. The water took way too long to even get warm. The view was amazing. The room was clean, however the headboard was flaky & needs to be replaced. We checked in on Mon evening & tv stopped working by Tue morning. By checkout Wednesday afternoon the tv still wasn't fixed. We received a discount on the 2nd nights stay, but was also told that I would have points added to my Marriott account for the inconvenience. Not only did I not receive extra points, I haven't received points for the stay as well. I would stay again when they start caring more.
- 5/5
Everything was great I enjoyed my stay
- 5/5
I did not like the parking options. Only real option for the hotel was valet, and any other parking would have been sketchy as it was behind the hotel, and very narrow.
- 5/5
When we arrived, Mr. Eugine met us at valet parking. Such a nice man. He helped me from our truck and helped load our bags onto the luggage cart. Then he escorted us to the front desk where Ms. Mauriyah checked us in. A genuinely kind person, she offered all kinds of info about Atlanta with a constant smile on her face. She greeted everyone so kindly. She explained all the services the hotel has to offer. Our room was lovely, clean, comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast was delish…. not the same old. Oatmeal with 10 toppings available, croissant sandwiches, quiche, plus all the regular stuff. The whole area was spotless. The lobby area was filled with sofas, chairs and tables for chatting, noshing, and or game playing. Again, it was kept spotless. And it’s directly across from the Ga Aquarium. That was our first night and day. Our next day we met Jamandi and Jasmine. They were at the desk and buzzing around helping all the graduates and their families. They couldn’t have been nicer. Sugar would melt! When we asked for a late check out, our Manager, Ms Ruby, was happy to accommodate us. She runs a tight ship and obviously, hires only the best people. I lament that good service these days is almost non existent. Well I found it at Springhill Suites in Atlanta Ga! Don’t think about it, just book it.
- 5/5
The hotel was walkable to many attractions which was great for our trip
- 4/5
I had a reservation for a king size bed we were putting a room with a queen size bed. The room is very tight lights did not work. The headboard was all scratched up.
- 4/5
Parking process and cost
- 4/5
However, the front entrance has terrible access to the lobby, especially when arriving by car. Also, we were disappointed that there was no room service.
- 5/5
Everything was good except the room service for my room was horrible
- 5/5
Great hotel, clean, across street from the aquarium . If you don’t have rentals car. You can take sky train from the airport to the hotel. Valet parking is expensive $ 50 .
- 5/5
It’s close to Coca-cola Center, aquarium, stadiums, Olympic Park, etc
- 5/5
Across the street from the aquarium.
- 5/5
Love it very sweet great customer service
- 3/5
Bathroom in room, the plumbing was falling out of the wall, toilet was too low to tge ground and loud. Didn't like the laminate flooring, it's too loud when you drop something. You can hear other people in their room's above dropping things. Didn't like the sliding door to bathroom, it was hard to open and close and it didn't feel private. Remote to tv didn't work well, it wasn't resposive.
- 5/5
Breakfast was good. Staff was so friendly! Walking distance to a lot of activities would recommend
- 3/5
Breakfast hour need to be extended and added staff for the bar/lounge area.
- 5/5
The gym was very outdated and none of the TVs work. Also you should consider using reusable silverware instead of plastic or Styrofoam to minimize your environmental foot print.
- 5/5
Nice place to stay
- 5/5
This hotel was perfect! The entire team was so kind and made sure I was well protected on my solo trip. I’ll be back soon!
- 5/5
Great Stay
- 5/5
Very nice hotel and very clean. Felt very safe and comfortable.
- 4/5
The parking costs were astronomical @$50/day.
- 5/5
My credit card got compromised after I booked my room at the downtown Atlanta hotel, so I had to freeze it and couldn't use it for the $50 incidentals when I checked in. I called the hotel and talked to someone at the front desk—her name was Zimia (I think that’s the right spelling). She said when I checked in the next day, I should just ask for her and she’d figure something out for me. I was super grateful because she put me a lot more at ease. I ended up arriving after her work hours, but just being reassured by her really helped. It made my whole SpringHill stay a lot more positive!
- 5/5
The view was very nice close to alot of store and the aquarium
- 4/5
The Georgia Aquarium was across the street.
- 5/5
The hotel was very clean and the staff was very nice!! The only complaint I’d say I have is not seeing on the website about parking. There’s no public parking, valet only and it’s $50 overnight so make sure to plan that in advance with your trip!
- 5/5
Hotel is amazing and the front desk staff were awesome. The property next door is a bar and restaurant and their music was very loud and made it difficult to watch tv and sleep.
- 5/5
Our room faced the night club next door, it was a little loud but nothing too crazy!
- 4/5
I stayed here over a recent weekend and was unfortunately let down by several aspects of the experience. The breakfast service was poorly managed—long lines, limited seating, and several items consistently ran out without timely replenishment. It didn't meet the expectations I’ve come to associate with Marriott properties. Additionally, only one of the two elevators was consistently in service, creating long wait times and crowding, especially during peak hours. The bar area was also underwhelming—limited drink selections, no real ambiance, and it felt like more of an afterthought than a guest amenity. Lastly, while I understand the urban location, the presence of numerous unhoused individuals right outside the property made the entrance feel less secure, particularly in the evenings. Staff were friendly, and the location is great for downtown attractions like the Georgia Aquarium, but overall, the stay fell short of expectations. I hope improvements are made in these key areas.
- 5/5
Directly across the street from the Aquarium and Coca Cola musem
- 5/5
The trip to the aquarium was made possible because we could walk everywhere. Olympic Centennial Park was also walkable from hotel. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

To make it worse, they never cleaned our room during the stay. For such an expensive hotel, you’d expect decent service. We will definitely not be coming back. Way too expensive for such poor service.

Staff was nice and helpful! The hotel is a walkable distance to the Mercedes Benz Stadium, very convenient and clean. Will come again.

Some policies were not clear online , no convenient parking and next to the room was a club and loud noise until 1-2 am

Nice hotel.

I definitely would not recommend this place just for the simple fact that the only parking option you have is valet parking which is an additional $50. When me and my family arrived we just unloaded and changed our clothes and came downstairs. I called the valet for our vehicle and it hadn’t even been 30 minutes since we arrived and our vehicle smelled like straight Marijuana! I had to change my plans till they got rid of the smell. I have 2 children under 5 and I was not going to put them back in that car! Once we got home we still had to completely wash the kids chairs because they still smelled! The manager was nice but this should not have happened! It’s like they hotboxed my car or something! Definitely not aceptable!

Staff were great particularly the receptionist. Parking on site is very convenient. The air conditioning unit in the room was not very good and was noisy.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic. First room’s AC was broken, so we were switched rooms. However, the shower door wouldn’t close all the way, and the shower floor looked dirty.
