    We also had to drive 4 hours back home at 12am. If they knew the air was out, that should have been communicated when we got there to check in. They acted oblivious to it until after the second room and 6 hours later.

    The room was clean and comfortable. That's the only positive thing to say about this hotel. The staff was rude. I dealt with three different people. Be aware that if you use the shuttle service, it might not leave when you think it will. We signed up for the 5:45pm time slot for the shuttle to take us to Truist Park. 45 minutes later, still no shuttle. Another family gave up and ordered a ride share and was nice enough to let us tag along. Then, after the ballgame, we waited for over an hour for the shuttle to show back up. Several other hotel shuttles had come and gone multiple times.

    Location Needs MAJOR updating. The 2nd night there our toilet wouldn’t flush. We called them to come fix it. An hour later we were still waiting. Housekeeping came and tried to plunge it but that didn’t help. Water was coming out from under the toilet. They were supposed to fix while we were out that day. Came back to room several hours later. All cleaned up. Assumed it was fixed but was not. I called them again. They ended up changing our rooms. Water pressure in shower was horrible. Bathroom was very small. Had construction going on inside but didn’t notify customers in advance in case they didn’t want to stay while construction going on.

    Staff was terribly slow checking us in.We've stayed here before and it was like nite and day.They gave us a room on the 2nd floor as far from the elevator as you could get.They were doing some kind of maintenance in the hallways so that was a delight to walk thru.Im pretty sure we were stuck there as payback for mentioning how slow the check-in process was.$18/day parking fee in an outdoor lot was a rip off.I wont be returning.

    The front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel was outdated, but clean. Our room had very poor lighting and the sink would not drain. We used the shuttle service to Truist Park- we were excited for the convenience but the driver had a bad attitude. On the ride home he allowed way too many people to board and my husband had a stranger sitting on top of him. It was an uncomfortable ending to the night. Probably wouldn’t stay here again unless it was all that was available.

    It’s ok but needs renovation couldn’t use the gym because it was under maintence the bathroom door in my room wouldn’t close some of the area around the door frames are chipped and they had a flood recently so there were fans in the hallways on the floor we stayed on and down stairs near the bar and lobby to dry the carpets. Front desk staff was helpful but hotel just needs better up keep it looks old

    We loved our stay in Atlanta! Sonesta and their staff were so friendly and helpful. We loved having the shuttle take us to Truist Park for the games. Fred was our driver and he was absolutely amazing! We loved having him drive us back and forth! Fred is the best!!

    I loved the overall look, very rich and calm, the citus water was very refreshing and if smelled amazing in there. On the lobby and halls. My room was very spacious I appreciated the shower and toilet separation. Very comfortable bed and a petty good city view. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The pool area was pretty cool, indoor and outdoor access, and the water was so warm and easy to get into. Also a few decent food options available for any hour of the day. The only thing I disliked was the paid parking in the lot.

    No hot water--none, zero--for the last day I was there. Staff was completely unsympathetic, so-what, called maintenance attitude. They suck. Breakfast bar outlandishly overpriced. Old fruit. Nothing more than a continental breakfast for $26. Nothing cooked to order. Oh, but the coffee is free. Pool was dirty. Sparse equipment in the "gym". $38 a day to park in the freaking parking lot. Total disappointment.

    The internet didn’t work the entire time and the tv was in and out!! It was a big inconvenience with small children and I had work to do. Instead of fixing anything they gave me a customer service number. They also tried to blame it on a flood.

    The whole staff was very friendly, considerate and helpful! When I first got there, my room was next to a loud, barking dog. They immidiately gave me another room righ away. Also, they have a shuttle service within a 5 mile radius which I was able to take advantage of. The gentleman who drove the van was super kind and helpful.

    The location, The hotel offers free shuttle to and from the Braves game, which is great. I felt safe at the property and the bed felt amazing. My room was okay. It had old furniture and the walls were damaged. The bed was very comfortable. Also the breakfast was $21.00 per person. I didn’t partake in that, I knew breakfast wasn’t free, didn’t know parking was 18.00 per night, there’s ample parking space.

    Breakfast was an extra fee so we went to the Waffle House across the parking lot. Best Waffle House. Great service. Don’t rely on the shuttle to Truist park. We were already a little late for the Braves game. The shuttle had to drop off passengers at Chastain park first so after sitting around concert traffic, we didn’t get there until the 6th inning. After the game, we stood out at the pick up location for about 30 min after requesting a shuttle. We ended up getting an uber back to the hotel, paid $30. Good hotel, a little dated. Great location. Just park at the ballpark.

    The staff was excellent and kind. The boiler went out so, we had no hot water for almost 30 hours meaning, no shower...I had to meet family and conduct business...not a great feeling. The staff handled the situation flawlessly. My husband and I had a great time otherwise. The Chattahoochee had great food as well as service.

    I very much enjoyed my birthday weekend here at Sonesta! Lovely staff, beautiful property, and a very gracious gift from the hotel! The only issue I had over my birthday weekend was the waitress Imani from the Chattahoochee Grille who was hostile after over charging me but everything turned out perfect! Thank you to those who made this a wonderful weekend for me!

    We personally did not enjoy our stay here . When we checked in , the hot water was not working and we didn’t have access to it for over 12+ hours with no accommodations. Also our room was not clean and housekeeping never showed up to clean or replenish anything even after we asked. Staff was nice overall but even cleanliness was an issue as there were things spilled in the elevator and left there overnight and random clothing items on the floor in the elevators all night. Also a trash bag was left by our door all night and started to smell.

    This hotel is very old and need a major renovation. The pictures online is not what the rooms actually look like. The room smell like smoke and sour. The bed had a major sunken area. The house keeper didn’t do a good job with cleaning. The staff at breakfast was very rude and tried to charge me for breakfast even when I prepaid for breakfast when I book the room. The stack of plates were dirty . I found hair on a plate, when I picked up another plate, that plate was dirty as well. I reported to the staff and I requested for plastic. I will never stay there ever!!! And breakfast was definitely as waste of my money.

    Beautiful area! Great hotel with great amenities and lots of shopping and dining in walking and close driving distance. Just off the highway, easy to get to. My only recommendation would be to lower the cost of parking and make payment easier, ie, adding it to the room, paying at reception, rather than with QR codes that have to constantly be filled in and was inflexible with changing times. Also, the laundry was expensive to use and inconvenient as you have to use quarters only. Otherwise, we loved it!

    This hotels rooms are dated, and some of the sofa beds are dirty. We had to move room 3 times as we learned that you can not switch between heat and AC unless an engineer comes to the room to manually shift the system through the bathroom ceiling.

    wifi was a little spotty, but honestly everything else made up for it. the place was beautiful and my view was amazing from my room. it was definitely one of my favorite parts of the stay. i wish i could have stayed an extra day, but i was only there for a concert. it was super affordable too, which made me even happier with my stay. i would definitely come back, especially so i can try the restaurant next time! this was the first hotel ever in my life that i had to pay for parking, but it was not too expensive. ❤︎⁠

    The hot tub was magnificent. From 3.5-8ft and it was all heated. The pool area was clean. Didn’t get the chance to use the gym but it had a good variety of machines and was also clean. Loved my room with one king bed. Nothing was unkept or not working. Also the lady at the front desk was lovely, wish I caught her name. Would 100% stay here again. Thank you!! <3

    As usual, the lobby and staff were amazing. The rooms, however, are not being kept maintained as needed. Busted lamp shades, terrible paint/caulk jobs. The tub only drained occasionally. We've stayed here quite often over the years and choose it because the location is convenient, the hotel is extremely quiet, fair price. The mattresses that have always been there have been changed out. Hard as a rock, made noise like box springs when we turned over. The 2nd night there the key card quit working. Reprogramming them didn't work, engineer brought computer up to fix it. We had tickets to an even and couldn't wait around - they said no problem. We came in at almost midnight and were given new keys that ALSO didn't work. No recourse so they put us up in a different room for the night and gave us free breakfast. Nothing available to us except the clothes on our backs. The next morning we were able to get in and brought our stuff to the new room where we were able to shower...in cold water because the water didn't heat up. There was also drywall/plaster dust on towel racks. Breakfast advertised on website @ $16 per plate with made to order pancakes/waffles/french toast. We got there and were told it was $21 with none of the made to order items available. We only ate because it was free. At best it was a subpar regular 2 star hotel free breakfast. There was a bug in one of the juice carafes. We were not offered ice water or table service and the seats in the dining room were filthy.

    This is a beautiful hotel and we had a very pleasant stay here. Although there is a restaurant in the hotel, we chose to drive to other locations to eat. There were not many restaurants other than McDonalds and Starbucks close by, but if you don’t mind driving Tzikis is an excellent choice.

    This is an older hotel there were broken light fixtures, the bathroom doesnt have a dehumidifier, the bed are very uncomfortable, shuttle service was available for the concert i attended but only one way, staff was very nice, everything you could need is in a walkable distance, the hotel breakfast is definitely nor free, alost there was a convention happening while i was there so only 2 of the 3 elevators where working, the rooms are very dark and the main parts where clean like bedding, bathroom etc

    Don't depend on the shuttle service. We scheduled a time to leave for a concert at Chastain Park and we waited an hour for the driver to pick us up "getting gas". On the wat to the concert, the driver told us if we called before 11pm he would pick us up "no problem". We left out of the concert a few minutes early to call the hotel at 10:45 only to be told he had left early and there was no-one to pick us up. By the time we got an available Uber we had waited an hour. Awful experience!

    1. The restaurant is advertised to be open until 10. We rushed back to the hotel to get dinner before they closed only to find out that they closed early --- on a Saturday night. I even called earlier in the evening to confirm the hours. I understand being slow, however this was a hotel amenity that I was counting on to feed my children. We had to go back out at 9:15pm to find dinner - as out of town visitors with cranky children. 2. We reserved late check out for our children to swim for a few hours -- the pool was locked at 8:30am (posted open time was 6AM). We went to the front desk and were told that it would open at 10am. No explanation or empathy was given -- another amenity that we were unable to use. I am sympathetic to staffing issues or another reason for these things, however it was disappointing while in the moment. Overall, we appreciate the staff for making our stay enjoyable.

    We had several issues with the Sonesta but first the good points: friendly bar staff, good shower pressure/hot water, bedside charging ports, fast elevator, nice hallway carpeting. On the negative side, the room carpeting and bedding were extremely damp, which made sleeping uncomfortable. The room furniture/closet doors were in disrepair. The only bottled water in our room was $5 Evian. Housekeeping service was only available every third day so coffee packets were not replenished daily, nor was complementary coffee available in the hotel. We had booked a prepaid package through Expedia but had to leave a day early. We did not expect a refund for our unused night, but it would’ve been nice if the staff had offered a small perk to compensate, such as waiving the unexpected $17/day parking fee for the largely empty parking lot. We definitely would not rebook a stay at this hotel.

    The stay here was very comfortable. This hotel is located at a very convenient location for any events at the Truist Park or Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center. For the weekend we attended events at both places and it was such an easy drive. The hotel was also running a shuttle every 15 mins for the Baseball games for the weekend. Rooms were clean, Staff super friendly and breakfast was a plus too. Lots of other food options around this location as well.

    The hotel itself was just okay. The hallways were hot, and our room’s A/C barely worked and was super loud. Parking and breakfast aren’t included ($17 and $21, respectively), which was frustrating but at least clearly listed when booking. What really bothered me was the lack of customer service—when I brought up the shuttle issue at checkout, I got a casual “I’ll pass that on” with no offer to make it right. I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels in the area and this one ranks at the bottom. Can’t recommend it.

    The room was so hot. Slept on top of covers. Thought it was just when we first got there so we turned ac down and went to Allstar game. When we finally made it back after midnight it was still so hot but said it was 65 in the room. The room also smelt like smoke even though it was supposed non-smoking. Overall it wasn’t terrible just the room issues made me give a 3 star. The shuttle service within 5 miles of the facility was great.

    This hotel has a great location. It is next to a waffle house, a CVS, and a Publix supermarket. The room itself definitely had some moisture issues as there was noticeable green mildew along the base of the carpet. Front desk, staff were super friendly and helpful however, housekeeping did not turn over our beds, despite filling out a paper request form to do so. They only refreshed our towels. Parking gets pretty full in the front lots. Pool and gym were the perks.

The breakfast was the most disappointing thing about my 2 night stay. Excellent location to Truist Park, however, it is a distance away from the city, so if you plan to go to Mercedes Benz Stadiums then I would consider elsewhere

    We had a comfortable stay here. The room was clean and quiet. The pool is heated which was really nice. There is a free shuttle service from the hotel to the ball park which was very useful. Only negatives were the AC in our room stopped working and we had to go to reception twice before it was partially fixed. Parking and breakfast were kinda pricey.     The bathroom is extremely dark, the water in the shower was freezing, and there was extremely low water pressure. The first night, our air conditioning did not work.     Bedroom was spacious. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was overall clean but tub drained very slowly, so had to stand in calf deep water when showering. Hairdryer was also dirty. $17 for parking is also a bit much when they have such a large lot. Felt like a cash grab. But lobby was nice and people were fine as well.

    Additionally, upon check in, we were told that our package included free breakfast on both days plus $10 per day towards the store or restaurant - my daugher and I both her staff specifically name the store. We purchased items both days from the store. At check out we were charged for the items from store and told the credit didn't apply to the store. We would not have taken items from the store if the credit didn't apply. I would have gone accross the street to Publix where the same items are less than half the price. When I questioned the charges, I was told the manager would contact me.I have not heard from anyone yet. Overall, not a good stay.

    THis was a miserable experience. A 45 minute wait in line to check in. ONly one person at the desk- another standing around doing nothing. When I finally got to the front of the line, I was told that the clerk would check in two others first. Then, There's the Resort Fee of $34 per night - FOR WHAT? Its NOT A RESORT - just a pretty average hotel. Then there's the $17/night parking fee - FOR WHAT? AN open air parking lot that's not patrolled? PLease. Then there's the staff who don't care. then there's the advertised price for hte breakfast on the buffet that's $16, but when you get there, it's $21. Then there's the exercise bike in the gym that doesn't work. Then, there's the water cooler in the gym that doesn't work. Then there's the skimpy breakfast buffet htat uses fake egg poweder instead of real eggs - I get that at Hampton Inn, I expect better at Sonesta. Overall, this place is NOT WORTH IT, and a miserable experience. I won't be using this brand again.

    Hotel was nice! The woman at the desk checking you in was horribly rude! We arrived for check-in because we are told we could check in after three. We were then told the room was not ready and to come back at four. We came back at 4:45 and we told again the room was not ready. There were multiple people in the lobby saying that they have been waiting over two hours for their room! We understand having to wait but the attitude and how we were treated by the woman doing the check-in was uncalled for! We had a wedding to get to, and we’re unable to get ready in our room. She didn’t seem to care, she did not offer any solution to the problem! This morning on check out, the same woman was there, and we received the same attitude from her as we did last night. She didn’t ask how our day was. She didn’t ask if we needed anything. There are many options in the Atlanta area that we had to choose from. We probably won’t be back till this one.

    The property is very nice itself, but when we checked in at 4 PM, we were told the room would not be ready for another hour and a half. My husband was meeting me at the hotel so that we could go to the Braves game and because the room wasn’t ready, he had to change in the lobby bathroom. We had to leave our bags in the car while at the game. We found out later this was due to a staffing issue. Overall the stay was pretty good. The best part about this hotel was Miss Carolyn in the dining area for breakfast. She was so welcoming and accommodating to everyone! It was obvious that she really enjoyed the work she was doing and enjoyed meeting new people.

    The check in at 4 was supposed disorganized. The lobby was full of people who had checked in but rooms were not ready. There was a list of people that they would call the name when the room was ready. After waiting an hour I checked and they forgot to put my name on the list. We went ahead and went to the baseball game and got our room when we got back.

    When I made the reservation I requested a room near the elevator due to my wife's limited mobility, but there were only two rooms on the floor further away from the elevator than our room. In the hallway some floorboards were falling away from the wall, indicating deferred maintenance. I was there for a pen show. People who came to the show parked for free, but since I was staying at the hotel I was charged $34 for parking for two days.

    My flight got delayed so I didn't arrive to the hotel until 3:30am. There was no one at the desk. After waiting for 10 minutes I called thinking maybe they were in the back and would come out. I noticed a security guard on the other side of the lobby on her phone so I asked if if she knew where anyone was, and she barked at me "what are you trying to do ma'am", and I explained my flight was delyaed and I just wanted to check in so I could go to sleep. SHe reluctanlty went to search for the front desk employee. After another 20 minutes someone finally come out and I got checked in. The room and bathromm lighting was incredibly dark making it very hard to put makeup on. The bartendar would dissapear from a full bar for 15-20 min at a time. The staff was pleasnt, once they finally help you but definitely no sense of urgency. I will not stay at this property again.

    While the hotel and room was ok, I would say it was below a Hampton Inn quality room.. the staff were not accommodating or welcoming. I tried to check in to my room at 2:20 pm, and was told that if I wanted to check in to my room “early” there would be an extra $45 charge to the room. I asked, what is the check in she said, 3pm. I explained I had a very long travel day, I had been up since 4 AM.. and asked if the room was ready could I please check to rest. The front desk clerk says no. She made me stand there for 40 minutes even though the room was ready. I have never experienced that in all my years. I was so tired and exhausted. All the big brand hotels do not do this!! I will never stay this no name brand hotel again. The lack of compassion and customer service was beyond anything I have ever experienced.

    Nice property for a couples weekend getaway! Prime location for activities day or night, and there was even a Publix a stone’s throw away for picking up a forgotten item.     Our stay was incredibly disappointing from start to finish. At 2 a.m., the smoke detector in our room began chirping due to a low battery. When we contacted the front desk for assistance, we were told there was nothing they could do at that time. Instead of fixing the issue, we were moved to a different room, which was a downgrade from what we had originally booked. The new room was uncomfortably hot, smelled unpleasant, and did not meet our expectations in terms of comfort or cleanliness. This experience was far below the standards we anticipated, and we would not recommend staying here.

    The front desk assistant while checking in was a bit rude and could have been a bit more courteous.     The front desk staff was kind of rude and indifferent. The breakfast was great. The staff at breakfast was great. The facility was nice but aging. It was clean. My room was good. There was an issue with the HVAC so it was kind of cold. They did get this fixed during my stay. I would stay again, but I just would understand that the front desk, with whom I had very little content, are not going to be important to my stay.

    Hotel is old and out of date. In serious need of a remodel. Indoor pool was closed due to maintenance. Breakfast was overpriced and eggs were cold. Bacon and biscuits weren’t made fresh and were reheated. Water pressure in toilet was very weak. AC in room never got cold enough. Price of hotel was very cheap for a reason. Would have been much worse if it were more expensive.

    As someone who evacuated from a Category 4 hurricane. A family member booked the reservation and sent over a credit card authorization prior to arrival. Spoke to a manager to ensure everything was okay for my arrival. Upon checking out I noticed they charged the full amount plus more to my card ignoring my 6 attempts to the front desk to ensure that the correct card was charged. As someone with a family, limited funds and still without power i honestly feel robbed. When canning the desk to ask for assistance they stated I have to wait until Monday. Today is Saturday!!! So they took my last $500 and now with no power and gas I have to wait 24 more hours before I receive my funds, feed my family meanwhile their managers are at home cozy with ac food and money. I'm truly disappointed with the lack of consideration when this all could of been avoided by simply following directions. How is the manager and all the front desk unable to follow simple instructions.

    The hotel was nice and surrounding area was nice also. Perimeter area, so you can’t go wrong. My Dad’s room was great but mine had a terrible carpet stench. But the staff came up and sprayed it with a strong deodorizer and it seemed to do the trick. My Dad really liked it and said he would be back when he comes into Braves games. I would return also. The staff was great and it is a good stay.

    Mrs. Caroline in the restaurant was so friendly and exhibited the best customer service I have ever had. It speaks for a business that retains an employee for 30+ years. The shuttle provided to go to the game was a nice touch and Mr. Fred the driver was very accommodating. Room was clean. Will definitely stay here in the future.

    When we got there the system was down and we could not get room keys, and had to be let into our room, that’s fine but we were never told when it was ready and had to check to see if keys were available. The AC was out and it was extremely hot/muggy until 12:30AM. There was also an elevator that got stuck every time you got in it, was not sure if it would open or not…pretty scary!!
