    The room was very clean, and when I arrived at the hotel at 11 am, it was already available. I was only at the hotel for a short time because I was exploring the city, but every time I went, the staff was very friendly. They had people who spoke Spanish in case you don't understand English very well. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would stay there again.

    Lovely suite! Stayed a bit hot due to A/C circulation in the bedroom (versus the freezing living room.) Nice full kitchen. Everything was very clean. Staff was helpful!

    STAY HERE! I’ve never stayed in a hotel room that was as clean as this one. The room size was great, the bed was so cozy, the pillows were glorious, and again, SO CLEAN. Every staff member was so kind and welcoming and the breakfast was expansive and delicious - eggs, sausage, pancakes, waffles, oatmeal, bagels, fruit, cold and hot brew coffee and more! The staff at breakfast could not have been nicer and met every need. This is one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had in Atlanta. Thank you so much for a fantastic experience with top-notch staff.

    The staff in general left a lot to be desired. There was a strong weed smell in the elevators on the valet only floors (went down too far by mistake). It took forever to get our car when we needed it. I requested room service and all they did was take out the trash and put a few towels in the room. Will not be back to this location

    2 gentleman working the front were very kind and welcoming. The Valet guy Monday evening was also very kind. The location was great very nice on the outside. Breakfast was good, the lady working it was so kind. Checked in on Monday around 4pm.When we arrived we found out it’s only $50 valet per night not the 45 for self parking that was originally posted on the site. When we went to check in I was not welcomed and the girl in the front was not friendly at all. Took forever to check in stated that 3rd booking was difficult to handle and idk what other nonsense. I work for the IHG brand and have never heard of this. Felt like she was discriminated my family and myself. Bc we had booked through booking. After that rude encounter we went to our room. It was nice and clean no issues. On Thursday after returning to our room there was a huge leak next to the bed so we had to be moved to a different room. This new room had dirty floors and the shower door would keep opening up. Now the valet person on our 3rd night, idk if he was on drugs or what the issue was but he lost our keys and our vehicle and almost had our car towed bc of his errors. It made it a horrible experience for us. He lost our keys 2 times!

    The complimentary breakfast exceeded expectations: Fresh waffles, whipped cream, and berry topping! A generous oatmeal toppings bar. And rotating hot breakfast egg options kept it interesting. The location was walking distance to many destinations as well as a MARTA train station. The HVAC and boiler system need to be upgraded. The air in the hallway was hot and stagnant. The air flow in the room was blowing hard in my face when I slept, and I caught a cold as a result. There was no way to dial down the fan speed. Turning it off meant stuffy air. We had to move from first floor to a higher floor because shower was warm water, not hot. We were told the boiler was on the roof, so lower floors don't get hot water. So half the hotel visitors are doomed to lukewarm showers? I appreciate that staff found us a higher floor to move to, but this seems to dissatisfy your guests on lower floors. We also were not able to access network TV during the Olympics and were told it was not working (no ETA for restoring it). And the property provided only 1 small bottle of water for family of four staying there for 5 nights. Most hotels provide at least 2 bottles per day. Bottled water was available for purchase in the lobby, but that's annoying.

    When I initially arrived, I had to stand on the outside of a locked door there was no one at the front desk you could clearly see that. However, there were some people standing there. Look like they appear to be waiting for the person to come. And give them assistance. However, while he was assisting them, he left me outside the door. I also had an issue with the charging of my phone. I plugged it in to the nightstand power supply next to the washroom. However, the plug on the nightstand was inoperable, so I woke up to dead devices. This was less than the expected experience.

    I didn’t like not being told about the $150 deposit. The front desk person didn’t even tell me about it until running my card. Also the valet guy was extremely overwhelmed as it was a busy night and was kicking signs over and across the garage and yelling and cursing in the parking garage, I actually felt uncomfortable leaving my car in the valet. Also online it says valet is $45 yet I was charged $50 again without even being told about the surprise increase. Overall I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again.

    Melissa in the dining hall was PHENOMENAL! Her personality filled the room! I have celiac disease and could only have yogurt or fruit. I didn’t even care. We had Melissa taking care of us and that made up the difference, right there! It is service like that, that will have us coming back!!!! We’re already planning our next stay.     Reserved a room with a tub but given one without. Had room switched just to find out tub stopper didnt work properly. AC was locked on cool 65 degrees ans room was freezing cold at 63 degrees. Maintance came up and fixed thermostat stating we could now adjust it. But then the thermostat was now locked at 85 degrees on heat but temp read 92 degrees! Room went from an ice cube to a sauna. Only stayed one night and was 100% miserable! Couldn't take a bath, temperature was never comfortable ended up turning it off since front desk didbt sent anyone else back up to fix it, and the mattress was bad!

    Breakfast was great! My son checked in before i arrived and was given a one bed room, badly in need of an upgrade with only 6 channels on the tv (we booked a 2 bedroom suite). Apparently the person who booked that room had the same last name (Do they not bother to check first names?). The clerk argued with my son about which room we booked and ultimately put him in the wrong room. It took me arriving and demanding my money back to get put in the right room. The 2 bedroom suite was very nice, and after the initial check-in fiasco, we had a fine visit. No one was at the desk when i tried to check out. I waited 20 minutes and finally ended up leaving the keys on the desk and just leaving. Very poor customer service, but great breakfast. I would book the 2 bedroom again but would never book the smaller room. It gave hourly rate vibes.

    Call me crazy, but i do think this place is haunted, you get an eerie feeling both in the hallways and in the room. The feeling wasn't scary, just eerie. I also a few things slip off the bed, onto the floor - from the middle of the bed! Who knows!?!

    We’ve stayed here 6 consecutive years because it’s the perfect spot to watch the runners go by —Peachtree Roadrace. It’s one mile from finish line, so my husband walks back to hotel. It’s being remodeled and our room was lovely!

    I typically do not give poor reviews but this was the worse hotel we have ever stayed in. There was no hot water and they tried to tell us there was a hot water issue with the City of Atlanta. The elevators were stuck on floors and they sent no one to repair them. The rooms are old and not very clean and then there was the parking. They told us $18 per day but they did not mention that after 6 am no matter what time you get to the hotel it resets to another $18 so we paid $36 for one half day of parking. This hotel is terrible.

Also, the water was shut off for hours one day as the property is undergoing renovation. Wasn’t aware of that when booking. Small kitchenette area with 2 burner stove, refrigerator, (which was not running correctly, making noise), all cooking utensils, and serving plates provided. Coffee maker. Pretty much every thing anyone could want for an extended stay. Bed was comfortable. View was poor, side of next building. Parking was forced valet that one had to pay for. Ridiculous to pay for room and then have to pay for room for your car. It was accessed through a narrow alley that was dangerous.

    Our stay started out rough on the 2nd floor- the room smelled bad and it felt dirty; we requested to move and we were given a room on the top floor (7th or 8th) and it was like night & day! It was beautiful! So roomy- it had a fireplace and beautiful views of the city. Open ceilings! We loved this room!! The parking was valet for 37.00 a night but it was very convenient. Staff were all nice. So avoid the 2nd floor! 😂

    Had actually booked at a location about a 20 minute walk away. They very last minute (about an hour before check in) emailed me with no explanation other than “an error” and had to relocate me. Original location was a block away from the event I had planned for the time I was staying. Instead I had to walk about a half an hour with walking past crosswalks etc to get there.

    I went to check out and the gentleman that was working the front desk seemed very bothered that I walked around the corner to ask if he worked there. He was sitting in a computer as well as his phone looking at god knows what. When I asked him if he worked there he turned around and said how can I help you in a very nasty tone. I said I need to check out. He then goes through a door and comes to the front desk and rudely asks what room number, so I told him the room number you’re all set and then flung the cards that I gave him the room key and he flung them all over the floor. The room itself was very disgusting. There was dead bugs on the floor. The pullout couch mattress was completely utterly dirty. The toaster was broken when we went to go take a shower in the morning. All we got was hot water as if somebody did something to our room. I will never and I repeat. I will never visit this hotel or this hotel chain ever again. I would like a full refund from my stay as well as a full refund for my valet as well as a full refund on the hundred dollars to have a pet stay with us. I would also like the hotel manager to call. I am not a very happy customer at this time.

    I appreciated that they had 2 rooms availableat midnight. The rooms were clean. Unfortunately there was leftover food in mini fridge in one room and no conditioner in the other room's shower

    The outside of this Residence Inn is deceptively pretty but the issues start the moment you pull into the parking garage. The lobby of that garage is stuffy and dirty with an attendant who may look up from his phone to take your keys. Made it up to the front desk. Attendant was nice enough and handed us a key to our room. When we got to the room, the clearly old and shabbily remodeled room was below average at best but it was better than the dirty hall that led to it. The room had an air conditioner that was on its last leg and sounded like a snoring old man. On the way out we requested a new room and got one after coming back. Problem solved….or so we thought. The new room had a musty odor, torn up countertops, fuzzy tv, tepid shower water at best and a broken closet that could not open. It was late and it was only one night, so we went to sleep…or tried to but the bed felt like a 2x4 with a comforter on it. After a rough night sleep, we checked out a tried to get out car to leave only to wait for 15 minutes in that hot stuffy lobby for the attendant to come back from taking a dump which he apologized for”taking.” Will not be staying there again and will be contacting Marriott for a refund.

    I told Monee at the front desk that the room was not okay, when she asked, but it took me almost an hour to do a bed bug check (there were none, hallelujah) so I just stayed in that room. The room was quiet and the bed comfortable but I won’t be booking here again. It’s a shame because the location is so close to SCAD, High Museum and the Art Center station.

    Property is shabby. Needs upgrade. TV not working properly. Shower drain broken. Straight pins in carpeting by vanity sink. Safety hazard that stuck me in my foot but did not go deeply into flesh. No ice in freezer or ice maker at main desk. Facility needs a deep clean.

    This hotel is in the right location, however, there’s only valet parking. We ran out of toilet paper and a request to the front desk, maid, and worker yielded none!!!

    The property was OK. I had to switch rooms because of a loud air conditioner. I did not realize that there was no bar nor restaurant. No soap bar for hand washing in sink

    The whole staff treated me with respect. The room was comfortable, but did smell a little musty, though it was clean and having a kitchen was nice, even though I didn't really use it. Parking was a breeze, and was clearly labeled as to where I need to go. I'll book again if I have to return to the area.

    Our stay at the Midtown Residence Inn was enjoyable. The room was clean and quiet and the bed was very comfortable. It was great to have a mini-kitchen in the room although we only utilized the refrigerator, microwave and toaster. My husband went down for the buffet breakfast every day, which was free which we weren't expecting. We would definitely stay here again next time we visit Atlanta to see our daughter who currently resides here.

    Liked the seating area, bed and pillows comfortable. would have been so nice to check out the surrounding area but between the cold wind and heavy rain didn't do much. Complementary breakfast had waffles, breakfast sandwich. the only thing that was not so great was the bench thing in the bathtub shower. I couldn't fold it down as I didn't want to break it, so it was a bit in the way. we will definitely stay here again!
