Location. Charming old building, at one time (decades ago) the Barbizon Hotel for Women. There were some creaky water pipes (at least in my room).

The location was nice. Room was spacious. Only issue was that there was a lot of light coming in from the hallway through the large gaps between the door and door frame.
- 3.5/5
Staff was friendly and helpful. The front entrance was a little hard to find and get to.

The hotel is older but bed was clean and comfortable. My room faced the parking lot on all sides and was extremely noisy my first night with motorcycles and trash pick up. When I checked in they gave me two water bottles but one had been opened and drank out of which was pretty alarming. I was glad I noticed and didn’t drink from it. Business center was down but they were kind enough to print stuff for me. Staff was friendly and breakfast was minimal but good. Walking distance to some good restaurants.

Good location, nice mini studio apartment feel and have a balcony. The inner shower curtain was cut short and was about the rim of the tub. I’m assuming it was cut due to staining on the bottom but inner liners for a shower are a few dollars…

Nice room and nice location
- 3/5
Service and the front desk were good. The room had a refrigerator that had a noise that was constant and so disturbing that we could not sleep.
- 3/5
The rooms are spacious, and the suites come with plenty of amenities. The front desk staff was also generally helpful, and I appreciated their responsiveness. That said, this felt more like a budget stay than what I usually expect from this brand because of several maintenance and quality-control issues. It’s the small details that really need attention: messy caulking around the charger on the nightstand, low water pressure in the shower, and windows that appeared to be spray-painted. Another disappointment was that the sodas I purchased from the lobby store were expired by four months, which was concerning. Breakfast was also lackluster—very few hot items and essentially a breads-and-cereal bar. On top of that, the rooms were not cleaned or tidied up daily, which was disappointing and added to the overall “budget” feel. Overall, it’s fine if you want a roomy suite in a great Midtown location, but the lack of upkeep, limited housekeeping, low water pressure, and weak breakfast made it hard to rate higher.
- 4/5
Staff was incredibly welcoming and quick to help. The room was clean. I would have given the experience an excellent but I think some upgrades are needed for the rooms. Other than that it was a pleasant experience!

Location The hotel itself was clean and conveniently located, and the staff was polite during check-in. However, our stay was significantly impacted by the fact that the heat did not work in our room. Despite adjusting the thermostat and contacting the front desk, the issue was never resolved. This made the room very uncomfortable, especially during the colder hours. While there were some positives, a functioning heating system is essential, and unfortunately this issue overshadowed the experience. I hope management addresses this problem so future guests can enjoy a more comfortable stay.

The staff was excellent. The hotel was great. I loved that i closed the doo
- 3/5
For the price we paid for the room I expected more frankly. A smart tv to stream is a must for this price point of a room. Coffee in the lobby was out at 4pm, when asked about it a staff member just shrugged his shoulders and said, I guess it’s empty. That’s not great service. Room was clean but needs up kept better. Workout room was ok for a hotel, but again for the price it should be better.
- 5/5
I really enjoyed this hotel. The staff was lovely and kind. Check-in was easy. The room was beautiful. I wasn’t expecting there to be a full kitchen but every room has one. I really liked the balcony area. Be mindful that there is no self-parking. It’s all valet. I don’t know where everyone else was parking but it was more convenient for me to pay the $45 per day to park. I only stayed 2 days so I don’t know if that would be expensive for those staying for more than 4 days. Also internet is not free. If you want to just read emails, that internet is free but if you want to watch videos or movies on your phone, the hi-speed internet service cost $5 per day. I wouldn’t stay again due to price plus the extra charges. If those were included in the price, I would definitely stay again. But the room overall was great and the upgrades look exactly as pictured.
- 2/5
The staff was wonderful! I completely understand that this was an older hotel in the heart of Atlanta, but my air went out the second day. The staff did what they could and I was put into a different room, however I was offered any type of reimbursement. I’m not one to complain so perhaps I should have spoke up more. Either way, I will stay there again in the future.
- 5/5
Great spot near everything. Easy and convenient and close to the Atlanta Botanical Garden
- 5/5
Clean, updated rooms. Staff was great!
- 5/5
Everything was good I didn't like that when I booked a room for 2 queen beds and a pool out couch for 5 people through booking.com I was booked the wrong room for 1 queen bed studio. I wasn't able to get ahold of ANYBODY either through email, on the phone or A.I. CRAZINESS to correct my issue. THANKFULLY the staff at the hotel was able to help me and accommodate me
- 5/5
Great room for the value, and excellent customer service
- 5/5
The staff was very kind, and the room was quiet aside from the loud refrigerator. I would definitely stay there again if I'm ever in Atlanta.
- 3.5/5
Parking cost was high. Business center did not work and I had to continuously ask front desk staff for a print out. Bathroom shower did not appear to have been cleaned.
- 3/5
Location was great for five after Atlanta Braves game. Beds were very comfy. We had a problem with getting our door open. It was hung up by bar on door. The lady at front desk was great about getting it fixed. Next morning leaving got stuck in elevator. Would go back in forth between 5th and 6th floor. Really scary. Called the front lobby and she came up immediately but we had just got out on 5th floor and met her on 4th floor steps.
- 0.5/5
One of the staff tried to run my credit card for $4,500. Luckily, I was alerted by the fraud protection service, and when I brought it to the managers attention, I was told, "Well It Is Atlanta"
- 5/5
Good location close to business office I needed, good stay.
- 2.5/5
My door had a gap so you could see out to the hallway, and the door handle looked broken. Balcony overlooked noisy valet parking lot which had zero view and I would not recommend. Valet parking was convenient but $45 per day—super overpriced
- 5/5
I appreciated the valet service and hospitality. The staff was kind and accommodating even with them being short of staff.. they made sure we were comfortable and satisfied! I think they should turn the water heaters up and install detachable shower heads. Woman love hot thorough showers!
- 4/5
Overall the room was okay. Didn’t appreciate it when one comforter had blood and the other had yellow- stains. There was also no iron in the room.
- 4/5
Nice quiet property walkable
- 5/5
What a wonderful property in the heart of Downtown. My go to hotel for conventions every year. Affordable, reasonable, friendly and always a pleasure.
- 4/5
Breakfast is not worth value, could be go better.. Coffee machine was out of order.. Conditioner dispenser in the bathroom was empty and not refilled
- 1/5
Also, the shower sucks- constant banging in the walls when you run the hot water so don’t expect a peaceful shower. Only good thing was the balcony. I will Never book with Residence Inn again. Not good to their customers.
- 5/5
This property is excellent for people who want to enjoy all walking access to shopping and eateries.
- 3/5
The rooms were outdated , very dim lighting , no fan in the bathroom, and when taking a shower the floor soaked due to not having the proper siding. Overall, the staff was great and we had a pleasant stay.
- 5/5
I used to live there when it was a boarding house in the 80s
- 4.5/5
Comfortable and great location
- 4/5
Booked a balcony view room and were informed that no balcony views look like the lovely park view pictured. We overlooked a parking lot and the massive Google building but enjoyed the ability to open the doors regardless. Area around hotel is super walkable with tons of restaurants and stuff and a Marta stop a few blocks away. Felt safe roaming around outside both day and nighttime. Would def stay in this area again!
- 5/5
I enjoyed my hotel experience. Will definitely come back to this hotel.

- 4/5
Be prepared to pay an extra $45 a day for valet parking. Valet ONLY and No free/street parking in area. Plus I’m pretty sure they put water softener in their water, so that’s something to consider for sensitive skin conditions. Other than that, spacious one bedroom apartment style hotel room with a nice balcony in the heart of ATL.
- 5/5
Very quiet, convenient to walk to places, security& valet The refrigerator making unnecessary noises
- 4/5
The staff were the best part of this stay.
- 5/5
All of the staff were so friendly and accommodating! The breakfast was always delicious and had great options (eggs, bacon, waffles, croissants, cereal, and oatmeal). The gentlemen that runs the breakfast area is amazing and makes sure everything is stocked and will get you a utensil if you forgot to grab one. The room we stayed in was really nice - was great to have a kitchen to do some cooking! A special shout out to the evening receptionist (Persy I think). She made sure we were looked after and gave us recommendations for stores in the area. And went above and beyond and did little photoshoots for us and some other guests when we came back from dragoncon in our cosplays. Thank you for a great stay!
- 4/5
phone service and wifi wasn’t good or reliable. had to relocate to another hotel room
- 5/5
The staff was exceptionally nice and personable.
- 4/5
Breakfast doesn’t have much in terms of hot options, scrambled eggs, small buns, either bacon or sausages with cereal and bagels. Hotel is looking a little worn but the rooms are comfortable, although ours had missing light shades on both bedside lights and the room doesn’t come with any complimentary water.
- 3/5
Let me start by saying front desk staff Paul and Jersey were absolutely amazing and accommodating. Our balcony suite for myself, mate, daughter and five mont old baby was beautiful however and unfortunately the AC was not working. Paul brought us fans and we were going to tough it out due to the hassle of moving. It became unbearable and we had to move. Paul moved us to two rooms. The next day my daughter’s room also had a broken AC unit. Jersey moved her to a new room right away to accommodate her and the baby. Again, Paul and Jersey were amazing. The breakfast was nice as well. (This was July in Atlanta Ga…..it was extremely hot)
- 3/5
The room was not clean upon arrival and we were given the smallest room on the floor for a 7 night stay. Not the cleanest vommon areas. We had no hot water for 2 days and were not notified about it. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. This hotel could do with some maintenance and service to bring the standard up.
- 2/5
As soon as we walked in the ac vent was on hi and very loud, there was mold in the bathroom. I had to go purchase a humidifier to control my allergies because the low setting on the fan for the AC was not working. The water in the shower took about 15 minutes to warm up to lukewarm, that sucked so bad!
- 5/5
Convenient, clean, friendly staff, good breakfast
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Very nice staff!!
- 4/5
Close to Marta. Groceries and dining nearby.
- 4/5
Great friendly staff at check in.
- 5/5
Needs improvement on bathrooms
- 4/5
Everything about this hotel was great EXCEPT for the noise coming from the Cars with no mufflers cruising the streets between 10pm and 2am. They might wanna see about sound proofing the rooms facing the street.
- 2/5
The parking is a pain hell you don't have it marked to see where to enter when i got back to my room the room smelled bad like sewage had to open the door on the balcony to get the smell out you need to tell people there is a bar on the corners and one across the street the noise got so bad from 1 to 3 i called the cops they where fighting under my window i was wondering why there was no security at the hotel really i feel i should have been given a refund then on that the girl tried to get 244 out because she did not know how i paid for the room really guys i have stayed with the Marriot mini times but i don't after this trip if i will be back i also own and radio network and a tv channel
- 5/5
Safe, convenient, and excellent service from the entire staff. Room was comfortable and clean.
- 4/5
I had a corner room with a balcony. Nice to sit outside and drink coffee and read the newspaper in the morning. Breakfast was ok. Gym was missing 20lb dumbbells. Staff was very nice and helpful.
- 3/5
Staff was nice and location was good for walking but the man screaming on the next patio was definitely scary!!
- 5/5
I loved the property, The location was perfect. I was there for business and the staff could not have been more accommodating. It also has my favorite restaurant in Midtown. Steam house Lounge. I never miss the opportunity to go when I'm in town. I must admit that the property on West Peachtree and 11th St. is my favorite. Its quaint and not as loud or crowded as the location on Peachtree and 17th St. I will book again on my next stay in Atlanta. Thanks, Jack Morton
- 4/5
Comfortable, clean and spacious room. Breakfast was fine. Wi-Fi not complimentary and they don’t tell you that.
- 5/5
The perfect weeknd stay
- 5/5
👍
- 4/5
Overall nice property
- 4/5
The location was nice. We were a 3 min walk from the sugar factory, and a museum. 10 drive from other fun places for kids. Ubers were around $10-15 which was great. 20 min drive from the airport, $25 Lyft. The hotel was neat and offered free hot breakfast which was yummy. Free coffee and hot chocolate all night. No tooth brush or paste. The only thing I didn’t like was the tub was dirty, or stained. I had to put a towel down inside of it to wash up. The view sucked too. Other than that it was nice. I would stay again. Expensive though, $405 for 2 days.
- 4/5
Loved this place- great location with a lot of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Will definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
Personable staff including the valet attendant, clean property and they offer a wide variety of continental breakfast.
- 5/5
Room and building were clean. Staff was pleasant and helpful.
- 3/5
Decent, but not outstanding...been to a number of Residence Inns in the last 12 months, and this was on the lower end of the scale. A little old and tired, and and breakfast was not up to usual standards...coffee was quite often out ( I guess urn was being refilled, but was several minutes, and no one was around to check with)...one day, there was no yogurt (was there the previous two days).
- 2/5
Overall the room was clean but the mold around bathroom window was disturbing. Also, the heating vent had the loudest rattle which prevented a good nights sleep.
- 5/5
very nice staff, great location.
- 3/5
Decent property. Older but maintained. Thermostats were in the room but no temperature control it was extremely hot in the room almost unbearable
- 1/5
The property is very old and very poorly maintained. The people who work there are nice, but they need more people. Cleaning is only done every 5 days, towels are old, stuff is falling apart in the rooms
- 2/5
No carts or staff to help get to room. Bad old linens. Service was better at the end of the 2 weeks. Not worth the price or the Marriott name. Never again. The bed was so uncomfortable, felt like a bad spring.
- 4/5
Stuff was very nice, bed convenient. Room was relatively small compared to other Residence Inn hotels, and breakfast quite simple to poor. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Parking ($35/night) outrageous.
- 5/5
I had a very nice stay at the hotel, no loud noises at night. The only issue was that there is construction happening across the street from the hotel which started up at about 8am. The front desk staff were very kind and helpful. Very clean and I enjoyed having a full sized fridge and functional kitchen!
- 5/5
The staff was outstanding. Very kind and welcoming. Excellent at anticipating my needs.
- 5/5
Very nice.
- 1/5
No hacen limpieza en los cuartos. Esta muy sucio
- 4/5
Negatives: room had been carelessly cleaned. Shower curtain was off the rail and there were two used face cloths hanging on the rail that no one noticed. Dishwasher had not been run so there were dirty dishes. AC was weak. Room never got below mid-70’s. Although my stay was fine, I probably would not book there again.
- 5/5
O pessoal, principalmente o Gerente foram muito prestativos e tudo correu muito bem.
- 5/5
Amazing staff, convenient and safe
- 5/5
Wonderful stay in midtown and would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in atlanta
- 2/5
The key cards did not work three different times. I was unable to get into the hotel with my key card and had to wait for someone inside the hotel to notice me and let me in.
- 5/5
Great place to stay!
- 4/5
Note for Manager: A least do a first come, first serve for the parking lot for your customers. Only utilize valet parking only when the parking lot is full.
- 3/5
The front desk staff was very courteous and friendly, the room had most of the basic amenities…but the surrounding of the building outside need to cleaned, the appearance was poor for a Marriott building…also you can hear the noises from the outside party goers, even with the window and doors closed.
- 2/5
The deposit is 250.00 to stay at a standard hotel. What happened to 50.00, 75.00 or 100.00 for incidentals. This will stop me from using this property. Waiting 7 days to get a 250.00 is ridiculous.
- 5/5
The staff here were so kind and helpful! They made our stay pleasant and comfortable!
- 5/5
Nice Midtown location- close to restaurants, grocery, and MARTA train & GT Trolley. Property and room was clean and well-prepared. Staff was extremely nice and helpful
- 5/5
We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back!
- 5/5
All went well. Professional staff.
- 3/5
Hotel was clean, however around 3 AM We had a pest problem!! I immediately called the front desk and they accommodated us to another room, but it was very inconvenient. Noise level outside is horrible depending on where you're room is. You can hear the party goers as if they were in the hallway.
- 3/5
The breakfast is grab and go (a muffin, oatmeal and grits) Parking is not Free it’s $29 a day and if you don’t park on the premises YOUR CAR WILL GET BROKEN IN TOO. There is paid parking across the street and everybody that parked there had their car windows busted. The hotel and staff is very nice. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. My refrigerator did not work (but that’s ok) there is a restaurant/club under the hotel. With that being said I love the neighborhood and the vibe and this hotel is right in the center.
- 2/5
Two weeks prior we stayed at the Renaissance just a block two south on W. Peachtree. In was beautiful, newly renovated and parking was included for $189 a night. The free breakfast at Residence Inn was a joke. Pop Tarts and instant oatmeal! I had no hot water Sat night or Sunday morning. Then just before I was Checking out the hot water came back on, which tells me it’s on a timer. The staff was kind, friendly and helpful. But, I will never stay there again!
- 5/5
Clean room, spacious. Due to COVID, no free breakfast but there are little things to grab on your way out along with hot water for tea.
- 5/5
Place was an Ace!!!
- 5/5
We loved the stay!! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful!!
- 3/5
Your hotel allowed me access to where I need to go during my stay in Atlanta. I was not particularly happy with that extra weekend fee that was not mentioned in my initial booking.
- 3/5
the property looks like it has been cleaning for a long time.
- 5/5
Hotel is located in a grate area with lots of restaurants. Loved it
- 5/5
Very pleasant experience. The management and staff are very helpful. The property is clean, quiet and in a great location; just minutes walk from everything in Midtown. I will definitely be staying there again.
- 4/5
More clarity on the property is needed for hotels.com to reflect actual costs.
- 5/5
Their staff was very professional and courteous. The room made being away from home easier, as they had everything necessary to provide a comfortable stay. Great choice!
- 4/5
The property was a very good place to stay. The room was great, the staff was awesome. No complaints.
- 4/5
The location is in a great downtown area. Definitely away from the homeless people. We had to physically search for a good, safe location downtown and this is one of them. It was clean and quiet. The parking was filled and we had to park across the street, which was fine. I wish there was a place to eat within the hotel because there was no hot bar for breakfast due to covid, nor room service. The staff was very helpful and nice. I highly recommend this hotel.
- 5/5
Great place to stay, staff was great especially Crystal in parking!! Wonderful experience.
- 4/5
Everything was great for the most part. Heat didn’t work in the original room so had to switch but they did that without any issues. Only complaint would be about the housekeeping services. I understand COVID is an issue but housekeeping only comes upon request and are off on Saturday/Sunday. I was in my room from Thursday-Tuesday and never received any cleaning services. Had to change our sheets and get towels from lobby, and had to bring my own trash to the lobby to give an employee for disposal.
- 4/5
Utilized the kitchen space and it was good Probably would stay again and recommend
- 5/5
Very nice hotel in the downtown area. Clean and bright!
- 4/5
My only complaint is the location of the HVAC vent. It blows directly on the bed, making it hard to regulate temperature.
- 5/5
Very nice and clean room, staff was helpful but had misunderstanding checking us out and back in after rebooking a second night
- 2/5
After booking the hotel and while checking in, was told about a $250 charge that will fall off of my card in 3-5 days. had a hard time trying to find the front of the hotel.
- 4/5
The hotel is at a great location. Walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants, liquor stores, there is even a bar underneath it. The front desk staff are very nice and provided good information. My only complaint is with the room. The AC was very loud and there was black stuff around one of the AC vents. Im not sure if it was dust or mold. There was also a good amount of mold around the window in the shower and the tile grout. A good scrub with bleach would clean it up nicely. My room had a balcony which was nice to open the door and let cool fresh air inside. Overall the stay was good.
- 1/5
When I asked security why they weren’t encorcing a mask policy, they said that it’s just what people were doing now. I didn’t feel safe at all here. Was also afraid to park in the free parking because there are no rules enforced here. I don’t know what security does except for stand there and look bored. I would not recommend this to anyone and even for the cheap price i paid, this place wasn’t worth it.
- 4/5
I like the stuff and the location. The bad thing is no room service.due to covid 19.
- 3/5
$25 a day for parking was too much, the "breakfast included" was a muffin, the restroom by the elevator flooded with feces because you could see and smell it while waiting on the elevator. I was disappointed because this was a romantic NYE get away.
- 1/5
They charge a 250.00 deposit that is not listed online. Wouldn’t mind if it was a nice hotel. Upon check in was asked for proof of service dog which of course I had but not allowed to ask for it! First thing my dog finds is a used condom wrapper under the bed. The reading light missing off one side of the bed. Shelf falling off the wall in the bathroom.
- 4/5
Overall satisfied.
- 5/5
Thank you!
- 3/5
Nice room and kitchen. The shower was dirty, littered with a past guests hair. Had to clean it myself during a pandemic. Gross
