The outside swimming pool was green. Our trip was in June 2026

The hotel was about 1 mile from the brave stadium and made for an easy walk, but the building itself needs to be kept up better. The bathroom in our hotel room was below standard. The floors looked and felt dirty. The bathtub did not drain properly. Would not recommend.
- 2/5
I would not stay here again. I always thought Hampton Inn’s were all nice. This place needs some updates. The room was so humid my clean clothes were damp. The room also had a musty smell to it. The water also did not go down well in the shower. I don’t like spending money on a room and not being satisfied.
- 1/5
Hilton should be ashamed of this property. It was like a bad Motel 6, not a Hampton. Missing carpet tiles, holes in the walls, paint peeling from the ceiling.
- 5/5
Quick trip. Slightly unkempt. Still great!
- 1/5
I have stayed at this property several times over the years..But will never stay here again.. When you exited the elevator on the 3rd floor there was something spilled everywhere and there was barely room to even walk around it, I told the staff and it stayed that way until after we checked out. The bathtub had not been cleaned and had mold around the ceiling, A full length mirror had been installed in the room and the trim was falling off. The coffee maker was missing parts. On the main floor several pieces of carpet had been cut out and bare concrete was showing, The carpet was disgusting on the first floor and the 3rd floor. The ice machine did not work on the 3rd floor. The walls are so beaten up that it looks like a run down property.
- 3/5
Location was perfect. The room was clean but had a musty odor. The door to the bathroom would not close due to it was not on the frame correct. The light in the bathroom was hanging out of the ceiling. The remote to the tv would not turn the tv but it would change the channels. The bed was comfortable even though I don’t think it was a queen, it was more like a full. The breakfast was delicious, lots of options. I would stay again. Everyone deserves a second chance. 😊

Hotel was easy to get to and staff was super friendly
- 4/5
The staff were kind helpful and efficient. Everything was great accept there was a disinfectant smell in my room and hallway. I got used to it. Also no black out curtain and parking lot lights were very bright.
- 1/5
Pay more and stay somewhere else. Room didn’t have a remote, ice makers broken on multiple floors.

Poor
- 5/5
Staff was great, checking in process was easy, rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. I was a little sketched out by the elevator, the one operator able definitely needs some TLC and one wasn't working at all. Other than that, I enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

visible water damage on the walls. The second floor was worse. Our room smelled awful and after a few minutes, we realized that the carpet was soaking wet - this was an active incident, not aftermath of some previous problem. In the hallway, we were able to hear water running in a wall that did not sound like it was in a pipe. I told the front desk and they offered us room 410, which smells much better but still has damp carpet. The clerk said she would call maintenance, and I suggested that this was more urgent than that - that I would be trying to turn off the water and get a plumber over here now. However, she said that's all she can do. I said "then you must not be the owner," and she said that's correct.

I stayed for 4 nights and not once they stop to change towels or at least pick up the trash. (after calling). The carpet was dirty, the bathroom was outdated and the door wasn't locking properly. It was the most awful Hampton Inn I have been.
- 3/5
Relative proximity to our event that evening and next morning at a lower cost than other options. Their key system had been knocked out by storm so they could not make our keys. App also would not work for digital keys. Only one elevator worked and it made loud clanging sounds when operating. Staff had to walk us to room to let us in and said, “It’s done that for years”. Not very comforting as we were literally just stuck in an elevator a week ago at the airport. Carpet gaps/pieces missing in main hall. Also a little challenging getting in and out with traffic as it is close to busy intersection.

Staff were great and mall was close by.

Mold in the bathrooms. My husband and I got stuck in the elevator. They ran out of towels one night - we had to wait until morning to shower and even then we didn’t receive towels until 11am. And that was after we kept going to the front desk three different times despite them saying they would bring towels to us.

The front desk staff was friendly, accommodating, and professional. However, I felt badly for them as I felt they were having to manager situations that should have been handled by the general manager. Significant concerns with cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep. Room door and frame were damaged, unsanitary common areas persisted throughout my stay, shower door would not close, USB didn't work, garbage left in elevator, and a plethora of other issues. I made multiple attempts to contact management who was onsite when I was checking out, but would relay information through his/her associate. I then sent an email to avoid writing a poor review, but my calls and email were not returned. I've stayed in many Hampton Inn properties and this particular property is not one that I would ever recommend.

This hotel is terrible. It’s old, dirty and rundown. There are gaps in the tiles, which are a tripping hazard. The elevator bangs and sounds like it will collapse. The wall paper down the halls is peeling. The beds are stiff and uncomfortable. And you can hear noise anll night through the halls. And though it says it’s 1.0 miles to Braves stadium, it’s really over a mile 1/2, making it too far with kiddos. This is a $100/night hotel, not a $280/night hotel. Not even close.

- 2.5/5
I didn’t like there cleanness.
- 2/5
The room smelled very musty. The shower door would not close. The hallway had a large fan in it and they pieces of carpet were raised and people would trip. The elevator had a sticky mess on it. The tables were not cleaned in the dining area. I was not impressed with this location at all and was surprised it was a Hampton Inn. Never been in one of such poor quality.

Location and free parking on site was a plus. Outdated and musky smelling. Needs some remodeling to live up to the HAMPTON name in my opinion.

The staff were friendly except on two occasions my son was question about staying at the hotel by the same staff member.
- 3/5
Decent hotel for the price, clean rooms, hot shower. The beds were very unsteady and unstable though and were seemingly not attached to the frame in anyway, or the frames were broken, but we quickly learned that sitting on the edge or corner of the mattress would elevate the opposite side to where it felt like it would flip over. Not sure if they’re all this way or we just had a defective room.
- 4/5
The rooms are not clean. Staff is friendly.
- 1/5
The room felt dirty- sticky bathroom floor, black in the tub. The hotel lost power in the middle of the night 1/31/26 and there was no back-up generator so we woke at 5:30 to no power and frigid in door temps. The man at the desk was on his phone and didn't get up to help us manually pry open the sliding glass doors. The exit signs on the first floor weren't lit- a firecode hazard.

Everything was good!
- 0.5/5
We had to change rooms when we first arrived due to the tv not working. We were moved to another room where the ac cover didn't fit and rattled, the carpet felt damp and the humidity was high. The sheets felt slightly damp. The shower doors didn't stay shut and the floor got soaked, the TV would not function properly at times. Not all the usb plugs worked and the phone did not work.Only one elevator worked and made horrible banging when the door opened and closed.
- 5/5
I have stayed at this property times, as it is the closest one to my mother's house. The breakfast is always good. I appreciate it.
- 3/5
There was hot beverages and breakfast available. The soaps, shampoo etc were great. The staff were nice. The Hampton does not provide the value that I paid for, there is an obvious smell, not sure if it's the carpet. The paint has not been kept up with in all areas, elevator looked so dated. WE did have to keep telling the staff to fill the hot water container. Not walkable, all around the walk to the mall just across was dirty and dark. Not a pleasant or beautiful entry, could try to plant flowers etc.

Fabulous staff!
- 3/5
It was pleasant I waited and waited to check in. Called several times while at the property. Staff finally came after waiting for a LONG time. No welcome, no “sorry you had to wait” nothing other than what’s your name
- 5/5
Everything was amazing for booking last minute
- 5/5
Wonderful staff!
- 4/5
Excellent location, Near mall and offices.
- 2/5
The room was terrible, the bathtub was cracked and rusted and the tub wouldn't hold water, there was mold all over the wallpaper and food splashed on the walls beside bed .. just a terrible room especially for a Hilton
- 1/5
Room was awful but front desk people were nice. Place needs an uplift badly. Homeless trying to get in for breakfast climate controls not functioning. Major disappointment for sure
- 1/5
Refrigerator didnt work wall heater couldn’t be adjusted it was very cold or very hot breakfast offerings were awful. Entire place needs major improvements. We are asking for a partial refund of room fees
- 3/5
Needs upgrades. Only one elavator working. Door to room was peeling apart. Sink was not draining. Bed creaky. One light in room not working.
- 2/5
Staff was great, there was a moldy smell and water was leaking from some areas in the facility.
- 1/5
Couldn't stay. After driving to Atlanta and waiting at the near by Mall my truck was broken into. Windows were busted out. They would not refund the room. Definitely sucked. Thanks but no thanks.
- 2/5
Bed was broken a piece of metal was sticking out the side of the bed and cut me twice. Location is good staff was ok but room was not so good
- 5/5
Perfect place to relax!
- 5/5
Easy to get to. Great surroundings
- 5/5
Room was clean, breakfast was surprisingly amazing (especially the eggs and potatoes) staff was friendly and very helpful. Definitely can see myself staying here again!!
- 4/5
All in all, our stay was perfect! There were no conditions that we have to complain about. We’ve stayed here before and chose to do it again. It’s close to where our daughter lives. Give it a shot. I think you’ll love it.
- 3/5
The staff were nice. The price was great for 2 nights, however the room and restroom wasn’t as clean as I expected.
- 5/5

Came for the weekend to Atlanta for a Braves game and Falcons game. Stayed overnight. This hotel was in a good location for us to get to both events.
- 4/5

- 5/5
Good value for the money. Nice breakfast
- 5/5
Quiet and comfortable bed.
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and room very clean
- 5/5
I always choose Hampton for their cleanliness and awesome beds. This place was an $8 UBER ride to the Braves stadium which is why we were there. Perfect location
- 5/5
Receptionist was sweet and breakfast was yummy !
- 5/5
I've usually stayed at this Hotel anytime I've gone to the Atlanta area. It is a good Hotel, close to the Battery and Truist Park, and close to a shopping mall with restaurants! Nice Hotel with comfortable bed!
- 3.5/5
Was very satisfied with our stay. Came to see a Braves games and hotel was convenient and clean
- 4/5
The hotel property was very nice, with the exception of a few miscellaneous this as far as the interior of the property like paint, elevators, broken smoke dectors, and my room was cleaned (Not sure I had to request that)
- 4/5
The room was exactly as pictured. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a cold and hot variety. The only complaint was the A/C unit stopped blowing cold air during the night. Other than that it was a great stay for the Breezy Bowl Concert!
- 3/5
There was a weird smell from the carpet like it was wet - more so needing updates, only one working elevator so with it being a busy weekend it made for longer than normal wait times, the glass shower door would not stay shut. I’m not sure if the shower wasn’t leveled but that could cause water damage in the future. The room was clean however and I would stay again.
- 2/5
The main level had the smell of mold. There was water in the carpets, and they had blowers on the carpet throughout the weekend I was there. The washers/dryers did not work, and the front desk did not know when a repair team was coming to repair them. The elevator had a hard slam to close. I had a leak in the pipes of the sink in my room, and the sliding doors to my shower would not close bring more water onto the floor. This was my first time, and my last time.
- 3/5
extremely noisy
- 2/5
Property conditions are terrible. Apparently they were trying to clean the carpets in the hall, so they were soaking wet. They had fans blowing on them the 2 days we were there and they were still wet when we left. Carpet in our room had random wet spots. The room smelled so musty that we had to put air fresheners out. No vent in the bathroom so everything, including the walls are damp. On a good note, the staff are very friendly and there are lots of options for breakfast. Definitely disappointed and would never stay here again.
- 1/5
Filthy carpets, broken tv, empty soap bottles, personal items, like my car keys, were removed from my room.
- 1/5
The shower soaps were all emtpy, the carpet was disgustingly grimey, and something was wrong with the tv. Also, the maid removed or threw away personal items from my room.
- 2/5
Mold in shower. Shower faucet constantly dripped. Mold on the AC. Bad smell in room like my uncles 1988 tent trailer.
- 3/5
Staff was very friendly. Stay was nice. But the facility is in need of many repairs.
- 0.5/5
Pool was dirty! Room was okay but the desk light wouldn’t turn off.
- 5/5
The bed wasn't as comfortable as i would have liked, so iput all of the pillows down and laid on top of them.
- 4/5
Laundry facilities were not functional...was told to go to a laundrymat. Bed was comfortable, breakfast was good. Nice shower.
- 3/5
The carpet needs replaced throughout. The bathroom needs to be vented, too. The receptionist and housekeeping were friendly though.
- 4/5
Close to Truist park.
- 2/5
Beautiful location, near restaurants and shops, free breakfast.
- 5/5
Came into town for a concert. The front desk staff was kind and quick with checkin. The room was spotless and after a long night of concert going, the bed was perfect.
- 1/5
Hotels.com charged me for the stay and then Hampton Inn also charged me, so I was doubly charged. I am still trying to sort it out.
- 3/5
The room smelled like cat litter and was so humid, the carpet felt wet. Bathroom sink faucet wasn’t screwed on correctly and sprayed water everywhere.
- 5/5
Great place
- 1/5
check in took forever, then once checked in, our key did not work to the room. Front desk guy came with a master key only to find that this room was already occupied. awful experience
- 4/5
The only problem I had was the washing machine in the laundry room did not work.
- 5/5
Hotel served our needs for a baseball weekend. Room was comfortable, breakfast had a great variety. Would stay here again.
- 3/5
The building is kinda rundown with peeling paint and water leaks
- 3/5
Good
- 4/5
Staff was great. Pool was out doors & not open yet, but overall good
- 1/5
Carpeting in the room was wet-a/c leak, mattresses flimsy and not comfortable, AND finally the toilet leaked in the bathroom
- 5/5
Staff was extremely friendly, which is always one of the most important & appreciated factors that I remember about a stay! Big thank you for exceptional customer service when we checked in! Hotel and room were very nice and clean; bed was super comfy! Walkable to Truist Park if you choose & we come to ATL for the Braves so that was key! A shuttle would be wonderful but, wouldn’t keep us from staying again. Breakfast was delicious & plenty of seating. Very pleased overall and I’m sure we will be back
- 1/5
We had to move rooms 3 times because of AC problems, the tv didn’t have Netflix or other streaming platforms. The shower head was broken, the power outlet didn’t work. The staff was super nice though.
- 1/5
Room was old & need updated. Not enough staff on hand to handle up keeping.
- 3/5
Check in took forever, the rooms I reserved weren’t available (said they over booked) rooms and property could use updating
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay. The staff was super nice and helpful.
- 3/5
Bathroom shower handle was stuck on hot. Would not turn off. Had to call maitance.
- 3/5
Our stay was just below average, lobby and hallways could really use an update. The room was fine but couldn't believe they sold me a room with one king sized bed for 3 adults and had no rollaway bed to help us out. The breakfast was really nice.
- 5/5
Room was clean and stocked with necessities. Front desk staff was very friendly. It was a great stay.
- 4/5
I liked it & it was my first time going there. I got my room changed because there was a problem. I got the first floor & I loved it. I disliked was the toilet seat & the original room. When I got the new room the heater wasn't working. The thing is it was new, but they will get it fix soon. Other than that, I enjoyed the free breakfast & the free parking.
- 5/5
Great
- 4/5
Hotel wa ok, other people in our group had no complaints. Our room the heat/ac unit was very very loud, and it had a wet musty smell that gave u a headache. We asked for a different room, and he would have given us one but they were booked up.
- 4/5
The whole place looks worn down. The carpets especially. Elevators, halls, baseboards. Worn down, nicks, cracks
- 5/5
Great stay! Clean and comfortable accommodations. Friendly staff! Yummy hot breakfast. Great location! Affordable.
- 1/5
The room was dirty
- 5/5
It wasn't modern and up to par like other Hiltons and Hamptons I've stayed in, in the past.
- 4/5
All in all it was a good experience. The front desk ladies were especially gracious. The room was fine, very clean. The breakfast was not as appealing, but the all-day coffee/tea supply was much appreciated.
- 2/5
Poor condition
- 5/5
Traveling home - just a place to sleep and be refreshed and enjoy breakfast before we are back on the road again.
- 3/5
Convenient
- 4/5
It was great.
- 3/5
Mostly fine, pretty run down though. Also, I requested a crib at booking and at check-in and they said they didn't have one, despite advertising it on the site.
- 4/5
Had to change rooms three times in one day. First room door did not lock, second room had no heat, third room was just right. Front desk took care of us efficiently. Breakfast was great.
- 5/5
The went above and beyond to help in any situation. I would definitely stay there again.
- 5/5
Great place to spend the night
- 5/5
Great service and amenities. The food was good, but expensive.
- 2/5
First night at 1am the fire alarm went off. Took awhile for guests to come outside. No hotel staff came outside to address the situation. No hotel staff at check out apologized for the inconvenience of sitting outside in cool temperatures for almost an hour.
- 4/5
Hallway needed freshness to it. Staff was super nice 👌 very welcoming!
- 1/5
My daughter was stalked by a predator the man stood outside her room door attempting to enter the room for a hour she called hotel staff and they were no help at all not to mention NOTHING WORKS IN THE ROOM
- 5/5
Great
- 3/5
Most of the staff was wonderful. The food was awesome. We actually extended our stay. I was told to book through my app so I did. The first room I booked a queen instead of the two queen beds that was my mistake however, it smelled awful. The hotel was fully booked and they could not help me find another room. Finally, Friday night we moved to a double bed room it did not smell and was a lot more comfortable. I did notice the hotels.com booking page, has a photo of a double queen room on the listing for the 1 queen. Maybe that threw me off. My only complaint was the aweful smell. The paint on the elevators is peeling and it doesn't look nice at all.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Great experience since the moment I called (before even booking) all the way to check out. Lovely staff and nice rooms. Walking distance to the mall and other shops/restaurants. Great location. Will definitely be back!

- 4/5
Conveniently located
- 3/5
The location is good. Breakfast is ok.
- 5/5
Great Breakfast!!
- 4/5
The building itself is a little dated. The air was musty in our room. The staff were courteous and helpful.
- 5/5
Loved the breakfast and the parking was great and didn’t cost extra. Free parking is a big deal these days.
- 4/5
My stay was only two nights. Overall the property was clean and quiet. As a single woman staying by myself I felt safe. You can tell there is some wear and tear on the property but overall everything was great. It served the purpose of a nice comfortable place to stay for a couple nights that didn’t totally break the bank, one of the cheaper options in the area. The breakfast was fresh and tasted great. Staff were friendly and helpful. If in Atlanta again I would look into coming back.
- 3/5
First off this property is way overpriced. We paid almost $200 per night, for two nights, then find out at the property that they also require an additional $50 fee for potential damages. When we got to the room, the door-jam was beaten and busted, same as the striker plate. It looks like someone literally broke into the room at some point recently- but why not fix it? There was no dusting or good vacuuming done. When I was in the shower, I realized there was a large puddle of water on the floor by the toilet coming from the shower, that’s when we realized the shower floor seal was broken and water was seeping out onto the floors (was really more of an inconvenience than anything). Other than this, the breakfast was really good and a very convenient walk to Truist Park. We might come back to this hotel, or probably not. Definitely don’t want room 213 again.
- 2/5
Way too hot in room and hallway.

Day one I arrived at the property June 28th 2024, late in the evening so I did not get a chance to really look at the room, what I did notice that the refrigerator was dirty when I got back from dinner that night. The next morning I went to take a shower, and I noticed that there was hair in the sink and in the shower, as well as the carpet had not been vacuum from the last guest, so I went down to the front desk to ask to be moved to another room, the young lady had no problem moving me to another room. The first one she sent me to was all torn up look like maintenance had been working there it was not ready . She apologized and asked me if I was okay going to the first floor and I said yes, and she proceeded to tell me that she know this room is clean and ready. So I took the key went to the room the room was occupied with the young lady in there already. At this point I was very upset, because I have to be somewhere important that morning and I felt like I was getting the runaround. The young lady apologized and said that the hotel would move my things when a room was available. At this point I'll start looking for another hotel I could not find anything until 6/2 that was available, so I checked out a day early, I will be calling the Hilton chain to request a refund..
- 4/5
We really enjoyed our stay. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had three rooms and all were clean and nice. We would stay there again. The only reason I didn’t rate a five was they were short staffed, which was not the fault of the staff who were there and working really hard and the fire alarm went off really early in the am.
- 1/5
AC did not work. They sent someone to repair it at midnight and I have two young kids so as you can guess that didn’t work. The bathroom was dirty. They moved us to another room but it wasn’t until 11:00p on our last night the room we were moved to had leftover food in the refrigerator and the hot water did not work.
- 2/5
The location is fine - walking distance to the ballpark. Parking fine. The building itself and the breakfast was average as expected. My room smelled like vomit - probably from the wet spot near the bed where vomit was probably cleaned up from the night before. It happens. But I would have liked either a different room or a rebate instead of merely the Fabreze solution. Luckily I was only there one night and hadn’t planned on doing anything other than sleeping in that room.
- 5/5
The hotel is located next to Cumberland Mall; lots of dining options. Breakfast was a plus and they had different varieties everyday. Will definitely visit agaim.
- 5/5
The staff was amazing!
- 4/5
Hallway was hot; sink in bathroom was unstable; one elevator has been out of service for the last three or four years; vending machines were vandalized on third and fourth floors; no vending on second floor; room was clean
- 5/5
Rooms were clean, kids used the pool and gym both days. Breakfast was a full meal and really good. They kept the area clean and stocked for everyone. Would stay here again if in the area.
- 5/5
The only negative that we have is that we were 3 mins from the Braves stadium and couldn’t get the game on tv.
- 2/5
Front Desk told me 2 things. I was given handicap room plus I could not get a printed receipt because I booked through a third party. Ie Expedia. I felt like a 2nd class citizen because I used Expedia. Front desk lady was not pleasant at all.

The rooms were dirty, no toilet paper, fridge in room broke, outlets don’t work, phone in room didn’t work. Had to go to desk a the next room was worse. I will never stay there again. The only positive I can say is the staff was nice.

When I arrived the front desk stated there were no rooms available yet. (this was 1pm). She stated they were having difficulties getting guests to check out on time. once a room became available, she was able to check me in.
