I’ll be staying there again!!
- 3/5
The staff very friendly and professional made us feel very comfortable. But the room had a very strong smell, and the furniture had dirt spots everywhere. My daughter looked at the chair and moved away from it. I can’t believe how filthy it was the chair that is then when we walked in the bathroom, the floor was wet. Dinner breakfast I don’t know what’s going on with the breakfast. The eggs were gross and the sausage was undercooked. We’re still having an upset stomach since 11 something this morning and it’s now 1 AM. Now I like the location and the staff, but we gotta do better this was one of my favorite hotels to stay at, but now I’m second-guessing
- 5/5
Clean, good location, staff friendly and helpful, good variety for breakfast!
- 4/5
The pillows were not great. Also, all of the ice machines were down. This is unacceptable. There were over 5 in the hotel and they were all out of order!
- 5/5
Great room. Clean and modern. Helpful staff. Nice location. Checked all the major boxes. Got a great price. Worth it!
- 4/5
We enjoyed our stay there. The staff was polite and welcoming. We enjoyed breakfast and a quick check out.
- 5/5
Nice property, great staff.
- 5/5
Was clean and the staff was very nice!
- 4.5/5
Great location, value for money Additional charges for parking, limited options in breakfast
- 5/5
Location, staff Old, parking only valet
- 4/5
Better pillows or either an assortment of thickness.
- 3/5
Location for graduation. It's getting dated and the breakfast ran out on Sunday morning.
- 5/5
Very well maintained place.
- 5/5
Location, staff, parking, and breakfast were all excellent!
- 4/5
Decent breakfast menu. Love the location for visiting GT
- 5/5
The breakfast was fresh and delicious. All the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here!!
- 4/5
Location. 15 min walk to the aquarium, centennial park and world of Coca Cola
- 5/5
I totally enjoyed my stay at this Hampton-Inn hotel. The staff were really friendly and professional. The room was clean and with the right temperature.
- 1.5/5
Location is excellent if you are visiting Georgia Tech. Breakfast is decent, they have coffee all day, sometimes with cookies. Personnel are courteous. First-floor room with large window by the main road, next to a traffic light. No sound proofing. The hotel welcomes you with ear-plugs. You will get little to no sleep here. Very noisy. Room is dark. Valet parking is overpriced.
- 2/5
The front desk was very rude when I asked for a bottle of water
- 3.5/5
Paying for parking was unexpected expense
- 4.5/5
Breakfast was excellent, a good variety of types of food, great presentation, fresh, and plenty of sauces and seasonings
- 5/5
It's a great spot around GT University. Nice location and ambience. Very friendly staff and helping. We wanted a printout for our College purpose, the font desk shared her email to forward and print. Very humane! Nice breakfast. Nicer valet drivers and pickup. We enjoyed the stay and would continue in future. We recommend this location.
- 4/5
Location was excellent. I was working at Coca-Cola across the street.
- 5/5
Very clean hotel, good breakfast, convenient location and all of the staff were super nice. Awesome stay!
- 5/5
Very good
- 5/5
The room was clean and spacious beyond my expectations. The bed was really hard but I adjusted. The pillows were really soft - there were several on each bed, so I wouldn't be surprised if some were more firm than others. Breakfast was great, and there was a grab and go option for the day I overslept! Valet parking is the only option, and it's a little pricey but not out of line for a big city. The valet was friendly and quick. The front desk staff gave us bottles of water at check-in. There were cookies in the afternoon, and coffee/tea/hot chocolate all the time.
- 4/5
Property is very close to a lot of things. Even within walking distance The water in the shower did not get hot. It would get lukewarm then go back to cold.
- 4/5
Only parking option is valet at $30 per day. Rooms are slightly worn but the staff are super friendly and hospitable.
- 5/5
Overall nice stay to be next to GATech to visit the campus. The staff was very accomodating
- 2/5
Must pay $30 for parking. Very loud location and right in the middle of the marathon track. Thankfully I happened to make it out before being stuck during the race. No one mentioned that roads would be blocked
- 5/5
Room was great.. valets were the best
- 4/5
Clean room
- 5/5
Outstanding staff. Everyone who worked at the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful . Would definitely stay there again. Great job and thanks to the staff for making our stay very enjoyable.
- 4/5
Staff was very nice
- 5/5
Awesome
- 5/5
Excelente servicio y nos gusto mucho todo
- 2.5/5
Close to Georgia tech. My room is in the ground floor right next to a main road. Very noise in the night. The chairs in the breakfast restaurant are very dirty.
- 4/5
Pay 30 dollars for parking
- 4/5
Check in staff was great. Noticed sheets and comforter cover had small smears of food. Went to bed very late did t want the bother. Slept on top of comforter. Mentioned at check out. Gentleman seemed annoyed I mentioned it. Room was comfortable. No odors. Quiet even thought we were by elevator.
- 5/5
Perfect location for our swim meet at the georgia tech aquatic center. It was about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Not a quiet hotel but it's super convenient. Breakfast was good. The valet parking was much appreciated.
- 4/5
Convenient location to GT and TCCC. Little outdated
- 3/5
the room was dirty when we arrived, they didn't move us until the next day. I have to changed my own sheets because they were dirty.
- 5/5
Amazing room, excellent room service. Great breakfast.
- 5/5
Fantastic stay! We will be back.
- 1/5
This was by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at !!! The hotel has valet service were they decided to smoke pot in my car upon parking it !!! Secondly the noise from my neighbors next door all ours of the nigjt screaming and talking obnoxiously at all hours of the night and inconsiderate!! Lastly and this is the best one yet our room overlooked the street that was besides us and had a traffic light right outside our bedroom window anyways I didn’t know it was the starting point for the daily racing all night long yo and down the road at all hours of the night !! They would rev up the engines and there loud mufflers and take off when the light hit green basically at drag strip and I had front row seats at 2am every night !! Anyways never again will I step foot into this hotel !!!!!
- 5/5
Good locatin N/A
- 0.5/5
The room I checked into had someone who had slept in it with the sheets crumpled up
- 2/5
All of the staff were very friendly, but I rated this hotel experience for 3 main reasons...1) our room was on the road side of the hotel and was excessively noisy all the time. 2) they have mandatory valet parking which is a serious money grab since they park your car in their own lot a mere 10 feet from the entrance. There's absolutely NO need for this 3) hotel is quite old and sink backed up constantly.
- 3.5/5
Friendly staff, solid breakfast, clean lobby and breakfast area. Pillows were flat and lacked any support even upon stacking 3 of them. Matress was springy and had too much give. Shower faucet leaked constantly. Bathroom was clearly renovated recently but not well. Room had an odd smell, and mini fridge barely ran. SHUTTLE FOR ONSITE TRANSPORTATION WAS DISCONTINUED 4+ Years ago. Was only informed of this AFTER check in as I was preparing for the following morning to take it to the aquarium with my wife. Apparently they claim "yeah...all the third party sites haven't updated this yet...."
- 4.5/5
everything Breakfast could change. In the last four year is always the same

- 5/5
I liked it
- 2/5
Couldn’t turn off the AC, the room was very musty and smelled bad Breakfast was ok, but would have appreciated some hard boiled eggs and unsweetened plain yogurt.
- 5/5
The view !!! there was no pool
- 4/5
Overall pretty good and affordable in the region. Clean, new renovated bathroom, good WiFi, spacious room. Need valet parking but it is standard in that area and it is actually cheaper than others. But the night I was there it was noisy on the street, some guys were chasing on the street. Minor one was the faucet labeled wrong on hot or cold water.
- 4/5
The room was nice. Bath tub had a gap around the faucet. There were just little things that I am accustomed to from a Hampton Inn that were missing. It was still a good stay.
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
We stayed for a sporting event and these folks made it a very pleasant visit. If you don't mind walking, Centennial Park and downtown things are very walkable. There's public transportation accessible too. Be aware parking is paid valet, but you have in/out access anytime. Front desk super helpful, pleasant free breakfast with good choices. Everything was clean and up to date. Our 3rd floor room had a nice view of the Georgia Tech campus. The street outside has plenty of a.m. traffic which might bother you if you're a light sleeper, but probably no worse than other downtown or interstate located hotels. We would come back here again.
- 5/5
Seamless check in and friendly staff. Very impressed.
- 4/5
Parking is not free
- 5/5
Really don’t feel vale parking was necessary for such a small space and you pull up its right there. Also, love the checkout time but housekeeping know who have checked out thy knocked then just walked into my room. I did not like that with my family in the room with me so unprofessional
- 5/5
The staff is amazing! The convenience of valet parking is a plus don’t have to be driving around to park. Location is great too! Close to everything. It’s a 15 minute drive to Atlantic station. Walking distance from Georgia Tech and restaurants. They have several options for breakfast and the food taste very good, the servers keep the area clean and stocked up. It’s my family’s preferred hotel to stay at. It’s in a good location and near every highway so you can get around. Highly recommended!!
- 5/5
Quick, professional, courteous front desk reception at check-in. Friendly, efficient valet.
- 5/5
Great service
- 4/5
the property was very safe
- 4/5
Courteous staff, room was clean. Convenient location to Emory Midtown Hospital.
- 4/5
Good place to stay.
- 5/5
Great stay! Friendly staff, great location, super room and bed
- 5/5
Comfy and cosy property
- 4/5
Great except breakfast; I went somewhere else for breakfast the second morning
- 5/5
Obviously the construction was no fault of the hotel! The hotel was centrally located in a very nice part of down town Atlanta in the midst of Georgia Tech University campus. We took a short walk to get to a street lined with shopping and restaurants through the campus. The campus was essentially an outdoor museum! Everything was lit up, there were people everywhere, even at 10pm. Police and security were very visible. My husband and I felt very comfortable, and really enjoyed, our walk at night.
- 4/5
No shops nearby
- 4/5
Room was a bit dated compared to rooms during previous stays and had a damp musky smell. Front desk gave spray but it didn't help.
- 4/5
The nearby student dining hall opens to visitors as well. Valet parking seems unnecessary.
- 5/5
Nice staff, comfortable room
- 4/5
Everything was clean and the staff was great
- 5/5
Very good breakfast selection and quantity. Easy walk to downtown Atlanta. Great bed and pillows.
- 5/5
The entire staff was super kind and attentive! Such a nice hotel! Would definitely come back!
- 2/5
The carpet in the entire room was soaking wet. We weren’t able to Change rooms so they gave us towels to lay on the floor as consolation. The room had a musty smell and feel.
- 5/5
I liked the location and the proximity to our event. The parking fee was the lowest in the area (that might not matter to some people, but it does to us). The breakfast was really good and fresh. There was also plenty of seating in the dining area. The room was clean and the mattress and pillows were comfortable.
- 3/5
First our tv was pixelating badly. Hours later half the tv screen was blurry. Called desk and they quickly sent someone who replaced TV. TV still had pixelation issues for the entire stay. They said it was a cable issue which I believed but it was disappointing trying to watch football games.
- 5/5
I will absolutely stay here again.
- 5/5
Easy check in, friendly staff, clean, close to the stadium.
- 3/5
If you need a place need Georgia Tech, it will do. It is close and the staff will be very helpful.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
I would rather have safety box, slippers, and tissue paper in room
- 5/5
Great location, safe and convenient, if you are going to Georgia Tech. Valet parking is cheaper than other hotels in that area. Breakfast is great, I love their waffle. Coffee is available in the lobby all day long, cookie is provided a couple of times of the day in the lobby. Room is very clean. Much recommended.
- 4/5
Pillows were a bit too soft. Bathroom is a bit dated.
- 5/5
The staff were nice and very helpful! Appreciate how they gave us complimentary water and toothbrush when asked
- 4/5
A $25 required fee to valet 15’ from the front door is absolutely ridiculous and not something I have seen at other Hampton inns. I probably would not go back because it was so stupid and annoying. But the people were friendly. The hotel was ok and was right across the street from GT which was the purpose for our visit.
- 2/5
Family of 3, got put into an accessible room on the ground floor, right next to a busy rosd. Shower area has black stains, no water pressure in shower. Tip stickers everywhere. Also valet insists to park the car, 2 steps from the hotel entrance. 25$ a day. Shout out to the staff who was graciously filled the hot water when asked.
- 4/5
The hotel staff, including valet personnel went above and beyond to be helpful. The hotel and our room were very clean. However, the paint was peeling off in the bathroom. It is great place if someone wants to be near the college campus, but too far from Midtown/downtown area where all the shopping and restaurants are. Also, our room on the second floor by the street was extremely noisy.
- 3/5
Great staff and breakfast. Unfortunately, the room needs restoration. The windows shade does not completely roll down therefore the light from the street came completely to my room. Bathroom looks pretty old.
- 4/5
None of items on Complimentary breakfast tasted decent
- 5/5
The only issue is that the hotel entrance is tucked on a space
- 2/5
They overcharge on valet parking. Our reservation was for 7 days but we only stayed 5. Lost money in room 2 days because we used Expedia and no refunds.we checked in 3:59 pm on 5th checked out at 10 am on 10th. They are charging 6 days parking. Should be check in to check out time equals a day but if u check in even 11 pm they count that day one. Rude in explaining that after fact. Stay somewhere else. Breakfast is a repeat of only two options
- 3/5
Fire alarm in my room went off 3 time between 12:30am and 7:00am. Front desk said it was the shower steam and was not concerned nor offered any resolution. Alarm was still going off when I checked out. Front desk agent kept eating her breakfast, unbothered by it. Hotel is also on busy and noisy intersections.
- 2/5
The hotel is convenient to Mercedes Benz Stadium. However, the rooms are outdated and ours, 115 smelled funny. I will not stay here again.
- 5/5
I recently stayed at the Hampton with my twins for their college orientation at Georgia Tech, and I could not have asked for a better location! The hotel was right across the street, which made it so easy to walk to campus and participate in all of the orientation activities. The hotel was clean and updated, the staff was welcoming and friendly, and the tea and coffee in the lobby was always hot and ready regardless of the time of day. My family also enjoyed the hot breakfast. This hotel will definitely be my go-to when I visit my twins at college!
- 5/5
Desk personnel and the valet attendants were incredibly friendly and helpful going above and beyond to help me with directions and making suggestions of gas stations and restaurants. Super helpful.
- 3/5
The staff was extremely nice and helpful, however the room smelled like mildew and the bathroom wall had grease or jelly on them...
- 4/5
Convenient location. Clean but overall condition is relatively old. Staffs are friendly and accommodating.
- 3/5
- 5/5
Everything was perfect for our stay.
- 4/5
Nice and clean hotel. Great location for Georgia Tech. There were no microwaves in room as advertised and the valet parking 10 ft from the front of the hotel is unnecessary.
- 5/5
It was very nice
- 5/5
Everyone that worked there was very friendly, and the ballet guys were very nice room was clean, would stay there again.
- 4/5
Staff was nice, but the hotel definitely needs some TLC. It was real muggy inside the hotel, even the floors were wet which was interesting. It was a decent stay, but can't say they'd be my first choice the next time I'm in town.
- 5/5
It was great!
- 4/5
I stayed for 5 nights, while attending a meeting at Georgia Tech. The hotel was very convenient both to my meeting in the Exhibition Hall and to transport from the Airport. (I took the MARTA light rail to North Ave, and then the #50 bus that went right to the hotel - quite quick and very cheap at $3.50 each way!). The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially when I need to print out a document, and when the power went out on my last morning. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful, and saved a lot of time.
- 5/5
Great Hotel !
- 5/5
It was a nice hotel and amenities the area offered several dining choices and shopping. There was transportation, buses, cabs, etc. the valet personnel were great. We were in and out because of our son‘s graduation in preparation and meeting other family elsewhere. The staff at the front desk was very nice, and the breakfast was really nice and organized. We will stay again.
- 5/5
Very safe in downtown Atlanta!
- 4/5
Nice staff, good maintenance, will comeback soon
- 4/5
Easy walk to aquarium. Valet staff friendly and helpful. Front desk staff slightly less so. Very noisy at night-loud muscle car noise until 0400.
- 4/5
Victoria at check-in was great. The cleanliness of the room was not good. There was a piece of trash on the floor and something was spilled on the desktop. The shower curtain in room 204 needs to be tightened. Breakfast was good. The coffee also was good.
- 5/5
Very nice location.
- 2/5
We are checked in to room 105 where in the window is located near the street ways .A lot of vehicles passed by which makes it difficult to sleep well.
- 5/5
I will be staying here again when I get back to Atlanta
- 5/5
Nice place. Good staff.
- 5/5
Upon arrival, Anthony, the Valet and the front desk clerks were most welcoming, friendly, professional and very accommodating!
- 5/5
Staff were very friendly and welcoming
- 5/5
Perfect for Georgia Tech, pet friendly and decent breakfast!
- 4/5
Na
- 4/5
Victoria was extremely welcoming and hospitable.
- 1/5
The only reason why I had a terrible stay is because I had everything booked and when I got there, they tried to separate me and my family with two different rooms and two different sides of the hotel and to me that’s unacceptable. If everything’s paid for they should’ve had the room reserved..
- 5/5
Everything was great. Tay at the front desk was exceptionally helpful.
- 3/5
Comfortable and friendly staff
- 5/5
The stay here was amazing. Valet was very responsive and great. I would definitely come stay again. I recommend the king suite. Very roomie.
- 5/5
The service was nice!
- 5/5
Very nice!
- 5/5
Wish there had been more info in the room about the area close by, dining, etc,
- 1/5
Admittedly we arrived about 50 minutes before official check-in and asked if there was a possibility of a room being available - the person behind the counter said that she would check if we could just take a seat for 5 minutes which we did - 45 minutes later and after seeing someone show up without a reservation and be given a room I asked about getting into a room. (I know there were rooms available she just didn't want to give us one) I did say that we had been on the road for 5 hours and was looking forward to getting into a room so we could go and visit with my son who's in college, hoping to elicit some sympathy. She said, no the room still isn't clean you'll have to wait - so I asked will it be ready at 3 as per the check in policy - she said it "should" - it was about 10 past 3 - an hour wait to get into the room. Then we found we had been given THE worst room in the hotel - ground floor right in front of the busy main street (even the valet parking guy confirmed that was a BAD room). I'm guessing my Hilton HHonors counts for zero when booking through Expedia - even so I would have thought there may be some "loyalty" towards a member. Very sad - but there are plenty of other hotels in the area to choose from I suggest everyone try those before going here....
- 4/5
A good place to stay if you want to do things around the area that’s not super expensive
- 5/5
Convenient
- 3/5
Outdated, breakfast wasn't good at all
- 3/5
Loud traffic noise heard in room all night
- 5/5
Convenient
- 5/5
It was my home away from home while working in Atlanta. The staff was so helpful especially Victoria.
- 5/5
Everything about our stay was exceptional. From check in to check out we were treated like family- the kind that you really like and want to see again. Tayy at check in was so warm and welcoming and seriously took great care of us. He even made sure we got the fresh cookies that were coming out of the oven before we went to our room. Anthony at valet was so friendly and accommodating. I will always use this location for all future trips.
- 5/5
The hotel is beside a busy (loud) road, but the staff kindly relocated me to a quieter room. Great, friendly, helpful staff. Clean rooms. Free breakfast and evening cookies! I’d stay there again for sure!
- 4/5
glad that it was a short walk State Farm Arena.
- 5/5
Staff was amazing, breakfast options were really good, and location was ideal if you’re going downtown or to Georgia Tech’s campus. Value for money is amazing and I would definitely come back!
- 4/5
The room was great, the staff were wonderful and courteous, the breakfast was substantial. It is on a heavily traveled road so the street traffic could be heard. Otherwise it was an excellent property and we will stay there again.
- 5/5
Valet on-site quiet rooms front desk helps with ball questions
- 5/5
Nos gusto mucho el desayuno bufet en su variedad, el aseo en general y la tranquilidad que tuvimos durante nuestra estancia, muchas gracias
- 5/5
The property was very clean and quiet.
- 4/5
Close to Georgia Tech University.
- 5/5
The staff of this hotel went above and beyond. Very nice group of people. Our stay was great. The rooms were clean and spacious. Love the fact they accept dogs made it memorable. Thank you and I’ll be back again soon!
- 5/5
Great location and friendly staff!
- 3/5
Location
- 4/5
Overall not bad for what we needed.
- 4/5
Hotel was conveniently located near popular tourist attractions. Staff was friendly and helpful. Tub in our room was peeling off the paint that had been patched. Showering with paint flakes was kind of gross.
- 5/5
Professional staff
- 3/5
The room had repairs that were not fixed and in need of repair.
- 4/5
It's always a pleasant stay. We have stayed here before and would do so again. The go bags are a nice idea, but need to be rotated out more often. The one we took was 10 days old making the bagel and the muffin pretty much bricks... The water and the orange were nice though.
- 5/5
No complaints no problems wouldn’t mind staying again
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay a room was quiet and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
Very surprised at how quiet it was being right next to a college. Didn’t like there isn’t much food options near by anything was a 15 minute walk. Room was decent but it did have a musty humid damp smell. Other than that room was fine with small wear and tear. Wish the room did have a microwave but there is a community one where you get breakfast. I like that they offer big bottles of body wash and lotion. The breakfast was good for what it was it’s enough to have a meal and be fine. Liked that they offer coffee and tea all day. The staff was great and polite. The pet fee is reasonable and didn’t have any problems. Didn’t have any problems with this property.
- 4/5
Close to downtown and to Georgia Tech. It's on a busy corner so lots of traffic noise. Staff was very friendly.
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and things were in walking distance
- 3/5
We were given the a room right next to the fitness center and on the ground floor. Someone was dropping weights on the floor starting at 5am and truck traffic was loud starting early in the morning.
- 3/5
It was good
- 4/5
Fantastic
- 5/5
This hotel majors on the important things, great service, clean room, and clean room
- 4/5
Closet door was missing the magnet to keep it shut. Room had previous smoker odor that was not off-putting, but it was obvious that at some time in the past there had been someone there smoking. Otherwise the room was very good.
- 4/5
The common area was great! The room I was in obviously had moisture issues. The bedding felt damp, but not wet. My business papers that I set out for several hours were moist and smelled musty when i put them away. There was even mold spores inside a piece of wall art. The lamp base and stainless steel drawers had rust.
- 5/5
I will come back
- 5/5
Very convenient location and friendly staff!
- 4/5
The room didn't smell great, but the staff was very friendly, energetic, and helpful!
- 5/5
Wonderful
- 4/5
Also a really nice thing was they allow us to check in a little bit earlier because they had some rooms available. The staff in general was great. The breakfast was good: eggs, sausage, fruits, cereal, juices, yogurt (I’m gluten free so I had more options than in some other hotels I have stayed before), in addition the usual waffles and bagels and other pastry things I didn’t check. The cleanliness was fair, I mean I didn’t see any superficial dirty but I’ve found some trash from other people who stayed before under the bed.
- 5/5
The only issue I had was the guest next door. They had a huge dog that was just randomly barking. It was aggravating. I did call the front desk and the guest was notified of the complaint. It did get better. Otherwise from that my husband and I enjoyed ourselves.
- 4/5
Decent location
- 3/5
Front desk personnel was awesome. Extremely friendly and helpful. Only issue with my stay was no hot water for the shower. Hot water to the sink but froze my butt off in the shower
- 5/5
Nice hotel in an accessible area.
- 3/5
We overlooked the days they have room service and when we needed it, we didn't have it. We run out of toilet paper and room service told us to go to the reception desk and get it :(
