Has its good and bad. Was decent price, especially where it’s located. Felt like a safe area with the “No Loitering “ signs, but a homeless guy caught me on way out the door anyway. Very large room, but the bathroom was about as small as one I’ve ever seen. Could literally wash your hand in sink while sitting on toilet. Bed was comfortable. The carpet was wrinkled up bad. Breakfast was pretty good.
- 4/5
I enjoyed my stay here the staff was the best!
- 3/5
Pleasant
- 5/5
With the exception of the Air flow in the elevators, the stay was what we expected. We use this hotel periodically as it is close to the Campus.
- 3.5/5
There was mouldy bread in the morning
- 3.5/5
Accessibility and location. Room and bathrooms need to be updated
- 4/5
Hotel staff (younger black guy) was VERY helpful & checked me in quickly with no issues! No complaints!
- 5/5
Breakfast meal was excellent and parking was great
- 2/5
Water pressure in room was next to zero, barely enough pressure for water to come through the shower head, old carpet that was dirty, and the kicker on the end was a daily parking fee that I was unaware of. No mention of a parking charge anywhere. I will not book this motel again
- 2/5
The location The fixtures are old and outdated with NO USB PORTS. Like the first time I stayed there were stains on the pull out sofa bed, this time it was actually wet and look as if someone threw up on it! However the front desk costumer service was amazing and very helpful for local recommendations. The Representative Jay was awesome!
- 4/5

- 4/5
The staff was wonderful. I arrived four hours ahead of check-in, but they were able to check me in early without any fuss.
- 1/5
I had my do not disturb sign on … my last day checkout is at 11 am how about housekeeping Knocks on my door at 9:40 am with the do not disturb sign on then again at 10 :30 but this time they actually open my door … I was so mad like I paid for my time. The do not disturb sign was on the door never again
- 5/5
Breakfast was amazing. Great stay and wonderful staff
- 1/5
Liked breakfast.
- 3/5
Overall, the Clarion Inn was solid for a quick trip into Atlanta. I spent a lot of time out on my feet so having something to go back to and relax was helpful. I also appreciated the staff allowing me to leave luggage for a friend while I checked out and headed to the airport!
- 4/5
Loved the breakfast choices..staff was above and beyond..The only discrepancy was the (1) elevator for all. It was extremely slow..and no air flow.. It was a big disappointment for the (3) day and night stay.Fix this and your experience will be pretty flawless.Parking was accommodating and location was right in the heartbeat of downtownATL. I give it 4stars out of 5..👍😉👌
- 3/5
Kindness of staff Too far from the city ; really old
- 5/5
Very good stay. Pretty nice area. Will be back again soon
- 5/5
The property nice as well as the staff. You can relax, feel safe & enjoy your stay.
- 1/5
They didn't clean my room when i requested a room cleaning after 12:30 pm . The elevator was slow and the staff was rude .i won't stay here again and the parking you have to pay for it
- 5/5
Very clean, nice place to stay
- 5/5
It was very nice and clean you close to everything no more than 10 minutes from where the food shopping and a good restaurant right next-door the best soul food
- 1/5
Not the greatest. Found a cockroach in the bathroom.

Had a big hot selection of breakfast but no waffles on the time we went down on weekends. Staff was nice. Place was clean just a bit run down.
- 5/5
Even nearby good location for brunch,Mercedes Benz stadium, & open parks & night entertainment events for a weekend.
- 4/5
good location for downtown business travel staff list kind and helpful few small issues with things that needed to be fixed and the air conditioners were loud.
- 5/5
Staff was great, especially Melissa in the kitchen every morning for breakfast she greeted us and helped out so much. Parking was on site 25 dollars a night, I did see security walking around late nights checking on vehicles there. Close to a lot of restaurants and Atl nightlife! I’m coming back there anytime I come. Thanks For A great Experience!
- 5/5
Great little hotel!! Close to the venue I was going to. Would gladly stay there again!!
- 4/5
The breakfast menu was nice. A good variety. The staff was friendly and helpful
- 4/5
Breakfast was good and the breakfast attendant was helpful and friendly.
- 5/5
The room was clean, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was great. It was an overall amazing experience and the best part is it’s budget friendly. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone traveling on a tight budget because it’s 20 mins walk / 5 mins uber ride to the train station that connects to the airport.
- 5/5
Excellent customer service.
- 4/5
The parking is a plus+ the breakfast could use better options.
- 5/5
Clean room good parking
- 3/5
The staff were friendly. However, the hotel room was outdated and the beds were uncomfortable.
- 5/5
I stayed here in March 2026 and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I stayed in a single room with a king-sized bed — it was clean and had a nice view. Breakfast was free and really convenient with all the options. The neighborhood was also very quiet during the day and at night. If I come visit to Atlanta in the future, I would be more than glad to stay at the Clarion Inn again.
- 4.5/5
The hotel was conveniently located close to the GWCC. The staff was very nice and Melissa, who serves the breakfast, was so very thoughtful for thinking of the volleyball girls who had to leave early before breakfast was served. She put some cereal, Danish, and fruit out for my daughter to grab because we had to leave out early for her volleyball tournament. Nothing
- 4/5
Everything was excellent except for discovering that the summer blanket on the bed was soiled with what appeared to be red lipstick and foundation makeup. The next morning upon checkout the clerk was informed and shown pictures of it, but Clarion has not responded.
- 3/5
Wouldn’t stay here again.
- 2/5
I don’t like deceptive billing! We were charged $25 a night parking that we were not told until arrival. You couldn’t sleep because the air conditioner sounded like a jack hammer when running. Toilet paper holder ripped out of the wall. And 3 towels for 2 day stay!!! And no garbage can. Only chair on wheels, leather was torn in 3 places. ONLY thing GOOD was the breakfast. And the dining room attendant was very pleasant. I will not stay there again nor recommend Expedia
- 4/5
Our room was larger than we expected with plenty of space to add a roll away bed. The room was very comfortable and clean. We especially enjoyed the breakfast provided and the breakfast staff, Melissa, who was very kind and helpful.
- 3.5/5
Good
- 5/5
The room was really big and the beds were comfortable. There was plenty of room for two people and my dog for two nights. The Clarion provided delicious breakfast both mornings made by Melissa. Melissa led the charge in the great staffing at the Clarion. She was incredible. Her food was great and her personality was even better. She’s a beautiful human! The rest of the staff was excellent as well. I will stay here again.
- 4/5
We were in town for volleyball tournament. The kitchen staff prepared breakfast early to make sure those having to be at the tournament early could eat. That was very thoughtful and kind. The only complaint we have is regarding the carpet in the room. With it being a pet friendly hotel, the carpets need to be shampooed frequently. Other than that, the hotel served its purpose, and we would stay there again.
- 4/5
Extremely clean room!! Smelled wonderfully like nothing! Very friendly staff. Decent breakfast. Only complaint was that the sink and trash can were VERY tiny and in an odd place for the layout of the room that made it rather inconvenient. Other than that, lovely hotel and stay!!
- 4/5
The hotel is a little dated so the wear and tear that comes with that. It was just what we needed to stay the night after a show at the arena.
- 5/5
Amazing stay!!! We were in the A fo the cardi B concert and this hotel did not disappoint!! Absolutely would recommend and will stay again.
- 4/5
Very good
- 3.5/5

- 5/5
Everything was on average, good for the price.
- 1/5
But the entire hotel smelled like weed , in a supposedly non smoking hotel you would walk down the hall way and smell each room if you didn’t have your ac running you would be waken up from the smell Hairs left over on the bed and hairs in the shower stains on the pull out wouldn’t recommend Breakfast was mid they said their waffle iron was broken next day it worked and next they it didnt
- 2/5
Every night until about 2am, the guest above me walked very hard. Saturday night felt intentional because the stomps kept getting harder and louder. When attempting to call the front desk, i discovered that the room phone did not work, so i called from my cell phone. First night of the stomping, hotel security/staff was sent to the floor above me (4th floor) to check it out and stated that he did not hear any noise. Ok, fine. The second night, the upstairs guest were no longer just walking hard, they were stomping, just going back and forth across the room. I had to use my cell phone to call the front desk AGAIN. This is Sunday, around 1am, I called to complain again and the lady who answered the phone was extremely rude, kept cutting me off from speaking, very dismissive and had hung up on me, so i called back. I called 2 or 3 times, no answer, then she called my cellphone back and said, "You keep calling, I was helping a guest. What do you need?", in a tone that projected frustration. I asked for her and her managers name, she responded with 'im the night audit' or something, couldnt make out what she said because she was speaking too fast. As for the managers name, all she said was that the manager works tomorrow. When i asked for their actual names, she stated that i didnt need theirs name. So i just hung up. The next morning i reported her behavior to the young man working the front desk Sunday morning.
- 3/5
The place was clean. The room was okay it was clean. The chair in the room was peeling It has seen better days and needs to be replaced. The sheets had balls on them. It time to get new sheets. There needs to be a person who goes around and fully inspect furniture and know when it time to replace stuff in the room. Basic updates to maintain quality aka quality control. Also the walls are thin, I just knew the people above me was going to land on my bed any minute while I was in the room. It a descent hotel if you just need a place to sleep, shower and want a ok breakfast . Don’t look for anything else.
- 3.5/5
Good
- 3/5
Location and staff and breakfast was good. Would’ve liked to have bacon lol. Cleanliness was good, but needs a major update on the rooms.
- 4/5
Good breakfast, reasonably close to transport, lots of eating options
- 4/5
The breakfast was fantastic, the ladies that maintain this are very friendly and welcoming and the coffee was very good. I didn’t spend a dime on coffee the entire time I was in Atlanta. Would stay here again.

It was a nice lately at the front desk that worked the over night shift .. older lady with glasses and I cannot remember her name to save my life but she was soooooo nice …
- 4/5
The toilet was not clean. When the lid was lifted you could see the urine stains. The staff was nice and welcoming. Ms. Mellisa , the breakfast attendant, was pleasant and friendly. The parking was ok considering being in the city.
- 2/5
No pool outside
- 4/5
C’est bien
- 3/5
If your vibe is previously-loved, thoroughly-used then this is the place for you. Not for the customer who fixates on the details.
- 5/5
Breakfast was great. Wasn’t told upfront about $75.00 deposit for parking
- 5/5
Everything was Phanomonal.
- 4/5
The staff was nice . Breakfast was hot . 50 feet from Mercedes Benz! Parking lot was tight spacing .But overall it’s a convenient area in an out !
- 4/5
breakfast was good, parking was easy , staff was great.. this is our second stay
- 1/5
Didnt visit area
- 2/5
Parking and check-in were unnecessarily complicated. There were no clear instructions provided ahead of time about how the process works. Upon arrival, I had to park on the curb, go inside to check in, get a parking tag, then return to my car and move it to a lot behind the building. Since this is a downtown location, there was no obvious signage to guide this process. I only figured it out because someone from a neighboring valet service explained it to me. This lack of communication caused delays and added stress right at the start. The elevator situation didn’t help either. There was only one elevator going up, and it was extremely slow. Expect a wait, especially during busy times. Unfortunately, cleanliness in the room was also an issue. There was hair on the bed, on the bathroom floor, and even on the toilet. After a long day at the hospital, I didn’t have the energy to request a new room or housekeeping, so I ended up cleaning it myself. That is not something any guest should have to do. Breakfast was underwhelming. While there was a decent selection, the quality did not match. The bagel I had tasted stale, and the food overall did not appear fresh. Even the fruit options were limited to oranges, which didn’t look fresh either. On a positive note, the grounds themselves appeared clean, and the location felt relatively safe.
- 5/5
N/A
- 5/5
Quick check in process and clean room.
- 5/5
Breakfast was great with lots of hot options.
- 4/5
It was okay except the water pressure in the bathroom faucet (sink) was very low and the exhaust vent overtop of the shower ceiling could have been better repaired but overall it was clean and comfortable and I would stay there again
- 2/5
Room was musty. Staff was rude. Breakfast was cold and missing items such as coffee and milk, cold scrambled eggs. Items had to be asked to be replenished.
- 5/5
The hotel was exactly as expected in the pictures. Very quiet at night with a basic but good and tasty breakfast buffet !
- 2/5
Smell a strong odors in halls and room
- 3/5
This was an okay place to stay within a 20-minute walk of the convention center. ALERT- keep a close eye on charges to your credit card. After paying upon check-in there were numerous extra charges to my card, even after we checked out of the property. There was no damage to our room, or extra service, etc. that we required, so this was alarming. I called and spoke with the manager who said he'd fix things but then there were more charges to my card, totalling ~$400 extra. Now my credit card company is investigating and disputing charges.
- 1/5
Room smell like marijuana stains all over the couches stains on the walls holes in the ceiling no extra pillows or blankets. Hotel is absolutely disgusting.
- 5/5
Great staff, nice hotel.
- 5/5
Very good breakfast
- 4/5
All is good. Only complaint is the shower set up, curtains are so slight high that the water coming down drips onto the floor , and then the shower head isn’t secured correctly that water sprayed out over the curtain on the floor having to use the small towel to block it from wetting the floor more, lastly sink is very very small and no where to place the soap. Aside from that the breakfast was fantastic and beds were comfortable, definitely will come back again!
- 2/5
Room accommodation horrible. I was provided an ADA room. The rooms are old and stank
- 3/5
Pleasant staff and adequate room for the very short stay.
- 2/5
Not a great neighborhood. Property was worn down.
- 5/5
Cleanliness of the room exceeded my expectations. Very nice breakfast. The reception staff when I checked in was excellent. However, afterwards some of the other staff members were not so friendly and answered questions with a very bad attitude. At one point on Sunday afternoon I needed a bottle of water since their vending machine was not working but I received a very mean and negative response from one of the ladies who was on duty. The staff during checkout was excellent too. Other than the negative experience from some staff members, I think my stay was enjoyable. The message to the staff is to be aware of the job they chose. They shouldn’t appear as if they’re being forced to be at the reception (front office). I wish Al of them could be welcoming and respectful to all customers.
- 4/5
perfect location if attending the stadium for an event!
- 1/5
The room was DISGUSTING. there is no insulation between floors so you can hear every foot step and sound. I wouldn’t stay here even for free!
- 2/5
Musty, dusty, crusty.
- 1/5
I don’t like that we weren’t informed of parking charge.
- 1/5
House keeping came into my room used the restroom replaced one towel and left
- 1/5

- 5/5
We had a great time. Our room was large and very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was awesome. We will be back.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Good stay
- 2/5
Please avoid checking in at night if possible, as the front desk staff, particularly Max, was not as welcoming or professional as one would hope. When I requested an additional bed for my room, it was not available upon arrival, even though this was confirmed during the reservation process. The room itself needed some cleaning, the toilet seat was loose, and the closet door was painted shut. There was some difficulty communicating with the front desk, which was a bit frustrating. However, I appreciated the help from Manager Kimberly the next morning; she was very kind, professional, and apologized for the inconveniences. She kindly upgraded our room, which made our stay much more comfortable. Mr. Marcus, the Day Manager, was also very considerate and did his best to help during our visit. While our overall experience had some challenges, I do believe the staff members like Kimberly and Marcus tried to make things right. Unfortunately, I don’t plan to return to this Clarion, especially for a nighttime check-in, as my experience at that time was less than ideal.
- 5/5
Had a great stay. The staff was absolutely wonderful. Place was nice and clean. Would recommend if your seeing a show at the arena, within walking distance.
- 2/5
I slept with the tv on to down it out. Yes I did call front desk about the dog several times
- 3/5
The only down side was looking for parking there was limited space and dp with the restaurant that was in front
- 4/5
I asked to exchange some dirty towels for some clean ones and the lady that was cleaning the room across the hall from my room told me she had no towels on her cart. When I went back to my room I happened to see one side of her cleaning cart had plenty of towels on it being that that side of the cart that had the towels was close to the wall so I guess she thought I wouldn’t see it. still didn’t get a towel from her
- 3/5
Staff was nice, good location. I was in town for a concert at State Farm Arena this hotel was about 6 mins away
- 1/5
- Room/bathroom was dirty and not cleaned. - Room smelled like old an antique home. - Carpet was full of stains and it was sticky even w/socks and shoes on. - There were urine stains near the toilet - Bed sheets and blanket were super old and smelly that I could not sleep bc of the odor. - The room was super small that you could barely walk through it. There was no room for even a chair and please do not be fooled by the pictures online. Stay away!
- 5/5
Room was nice spacious and cozy
- 5/5
Great stay!
- 5/5
Rooms were large and spacious clean. Front desk helpful and pleasant.
- 5/5
The is big clean and the staff are very contious nice and friendly
- 3/5
The staff was very friendly and nice. The building is a little aged, and furniture was stained and dirty.
- 3/5
I received a ADA room that I didn’t request!!! The bathroom had a small sink I had to bend down to use. The hotel was in close to the State Farm Arena, but I would not stay there in the future.
- 1/5
Ridiculously charged $50 for parking? Which was never been informed, I would have chosen better property at the same amount I spent for these cheater hotel
- 2/5
the check in was good, no parking except across the street and loading and unloading you was not good as it had 12 stairs out front so you had to go around to the side of the building. however there was a metal piece sticking out from the bed and I hit my sheen on it ripped a big 3 inch gash in my leg. Hotel didn't seem to care at all and only had a tiny bandage for like your finger. Manager said well if you need anything else let us know.
- 5/5
Everybody was very professional and nice. Room was clean and bed was super comfortable.
- 5/5
Everything was Amazing from the staff to the room thank you very much… will stay again.
- 4/5
The front desk staff were very professional and friendly. All 3 gentlemen showed off their southern hospitality. I would stay here again
- 2/5
Room, didn’t give us any blankets, people upstairs from me was loud all weekend
- 3/5
The room had a noticeable foul odor when I first entered. When I contacted the front desk to request an air freshener or disinfectant spray, they were unable to provide any. Additionally, I found hair in the bedsheets upon arrival. The lamps showed visible rust, and the showerhead sprayed water outward toward the walls, contributing to paint damage in the bathroom. The carpet also appeared very worn and outdated.
- 5/5
Service was great, clean room, staff very friendly and helpful when needed!
- 5/5
Staff was so welcoming and super nice !!
- 1/5
The front desk guy was nice enough.
- 3/5

- 4/5
Stay was comfortable and nice
- 4/5
Room was clean. The staff extremely helpful and courteous
- 2/5
The room and stay was no problem. However I did have an interaction that was weird! When I checked in I accidentally left a brand new box of shoes at the front counter. I went to my room and didn’t realize the were missing until the next night. So I reached out to ask front desk had they saw any shoes or anything. I was advised no. So then when I asked did I need to file a police report because I know I brought shoes in, the person on duty then decided to tell me to come back and speak with the manager in the morning because they can review cameras. I said ok and go back upstairs. Soon as I get upstairs she calls me back down stairs to ask me was I drunk or anything when I checked at 8pm because apparently the manager that checked us in said that we left a box of shoes during check in and they are locked in his drawer and to come get them in the morning. I said fine and go back up stairs. Then get another call to come back down for a 3rd time and the manager there with the shoes. He then tells me exactly how I left the shoes and our entire interaction the night before during check in knowing me and my friend by face. I just thought it was weird as a customer service manager if a customer just checked in and left something at the front you would call them to notify them right away. It just gave if I never pushed the issue or filing a police report they would’ve swept it under the rug which was weird to me. Although that encounter the room and parking was fine no issues.

- 3/5
I feel the locking mechanism on the door was not sturdy or safe, so i moved furniture to impede the door at night. There is a $25 PARKING FEE WHICH WAS NOT explained prior to booking I didn't feel like it was in a safe part of town; all the stores in the area had bars over the windows and cashiers behind bullet proof glass. Breakfast WAS good.
- 1/5
awful parking, dated in every way, food ok but terrible location

The hotel could use some updates, but the location was perfect for me and the staff were very friendly!
- 5/5
breakfast was nice, room was spacious. we were there for a falcons game. this was in perfect walking distance to the game. i felt safe, they had extra security for game nights and weekends. there were 24/7 police coverage in the parking lot. i really liked that coming from out of town. bed was very comfortable. staff was friendly. if come back for another ballgame stay

- 5/5
The room was huge and spacious, clean, spotless. Quiet area close to Mercedes Benz Stadium and the State Farm Arena. Free complimentary breakfast. The food was great. Fresh, cooked to serve. Will be staying there again. Staff was courteous, professional, warm, and friendly.
- 5/5
The staff here was amazing and provided excellent customer service. Mahogany and Vera were the best at the front desk. We had a slight issue with our booking but they were quick to figure out a solution! They were super friendly and made the stay really enjoyable.

- 5/5
Great, comfortable and lots of cameras so "safe"
- 5/5
The room was spacious and clean. The manager D”Sean and his front staff were so helpful, kind, knowledgeable, and friendly. I enjoyed that everything I wanted to do was just around the corner. My room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again when visiting.
- 5/5
The staff were great and allowed me to leave my bag with them at the desk as I arrived much earlier before check in. they also called me to let me know they could accommodate an earlier check in and were more than willing to assist me with my needs for this quick business trip.
- 1/5
Staff was rude and highly disrespectful.
- 4/5
The room was clean and beds comfortable. Staff was very nice. Would stay again.
- 3/5
Quality of the mattress. It was very firm. Felt like I laying on a wooden table Very uncomfortable
- 2/5
Room floor not secure. Loose planks. Window sill not finished. Ceiling looks like water spots. Looks like cheap updates was done.
- 1/5
Even with $25 parking, security watned my son of the great possibility of hos car being broken into. The room definitely was not up to standard. Dirty quips were in the floor.
- 3/5
Room condition and hotel amenities were dated and a but funky smelling
- 5/5
El desayuno excelente y servicio rápido.
- 5/5
Wonderful
- 4/5
Great
- 1/5
The room was in terrible condition; it smelled of urine and dampness, and everything was rusty. The first person I asked for help to change rooms was very rude and didn't care about what I said. I don't know his name, but he was a man.
- 3/5
Location was great! The staff was friendly and helpful. There was a noticeable weed smell throughout...stains on carpets and seating (we didnt sit on any furniture!)...beds were clean and comfortable. Rating would be better had it been a bit more tidy.
- 4/5
Easy to locate, parking was good, free breakfast which was good. Parking fee was decent and slept well in the bed. Hotel was super quiet. Didn’t hear noise from the hallways, sides or upper floor. Biggest issue is that the hotel rooms need to be updated. Etc light fixtures, charging ports, drawers, seating, couches.

good
- 4/5
Parking was decently priced. Pretty quiet stay.
- 4/5
Wonderful staff and convenient to all our activities!
- 4/5
Staff was great. Breakfast was fantastic. Hotel was good but felt dated.
- 5/5
So convenient and close to activities we were going to. Clean and the staff was wonderful. Always our goto when we are in town!
- 1/5
The people there were real nasty and they wouldn’t accommodate nothing then they cancel your order without even asking you so I had to go find another room and stay somewhere else. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to nobody in Atlanta especially if you don’t tell all the rules that’s supposed to be applied when you’re renting a room I came in never seen the room and got my money refunded 24 to 72 hours late I had to go in my pocket and find a room out of cash and that was a roach motel so the Clarion is not at People. Just find you something else.
- 5/5
Clean room, good location, good value for dollars
- 4/5
Convenient location to arenas
- 3/5
The hotel was definitely dated. The elevator was very questionable and made some terrible noises when used. Some of the plugs in the room barely worked but we made due. Overall, it was fine for one night but I probably wouldn’t stay there again.

I stayed here for my bday weekend. Originally from Dallas,Tx. Hotel was nice, staff was nice and respectful, breakfast was delicious! It was close to everything we did. Yes, I would stay there in the near future again.
- 4/5
What stood out with this hotel was its proximity to the Atlanta University Center (AUC), which I happened to be visiting. It is conveniently located in walking distance from great restaurants like Paschal’s soul-food restaurant and the Mexican restaurant, No Más Cantina, on Walker Street. The Continental style breakfast was decent, offering self-made Belgium waffles, fresh fruit, juice and hot coffee. I did notice that certain things in the room could have been more clean such as the bathroom door and walls inside my room. Upon entry I noticed an empty cup left from the previous occupant on the floor near the HVAC. I also observed a sticky elevator floor which was promptly attended to by the staff. I did experience various staff members knocking too hard on the door and even entering while I was still present in the room. This hotel could improve that type of communication, as it can be unsettling to have police hard knocks on the door for housekeeping calls or to inquire if the guest is checking-out. Apparently, no paper bills are served under the door before check-out time. This hotel has a modest gym offering a treadmill and stationary bicycles. Overall, the hotel was nice and if I had the chance to stay there again while visiting the AUC, I would definitely do so. Staff was otherwise polite and accommodating.
- 3/5
The bed were terribly stiff hard as a brick. Staff was super nice without a doubt. There also parking fee that’s not included in your stay but sign outside letting you know they’re not responsible for anything happens to your vehicle even after paying for parking that didn’t sit well with me
- 1/5
Won’t stay again. Front desk staff is very unwelcoming, short and rude. Kitchen staff were very nice and helpful. Rooms were very outdated with dirty carpets and lamps. Front desk was strict about parking and getting towed but then didn’t have adequate parking for guests. How do you sell out your extra parking and leave guests parked along a side curb? We had to wait outside until someone left for fears that we would be towed. Then to make matters worse, extra charges were put on our credit card, other than the $25 “parking”.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
As usual, the Clarion did not disappoint. The room was exactly what I asked for, staff was on point and personable, and it is a brisk walk from CAU campus. We will continue to use the Clarion Hotel for our stay accommodations when visiting Clark Atlanta University!
- 5/5
My stay was absolutely excellent and if you have the opportunity, you should eat at Pascal's which is next door. The food was amazing!
- 4/5
My room was soild, no complaints with anything. Nice bathrooms. I was there for the Falcons game, the stadium was in walking distance.
- 3/5
Located on a very busy highway.
- 5/5
Perfect for Morehouse homecoming
- 1/5
I didn’t eat they breakfast and the customer service was very bad me and my cousins stayed there and the manager whoever she is came up to us and said that we couldn’t sit in the lobby and that she was gone call the police on us for no reason and it smelled like paint in the room.
- 4/5
It is very close to Spelman, Morehouse and Clark-Atlanta. The shade in my bathroom would not go down, so it was very uncomfortable using the bathroom and shower. Otherwise, the hotel was great and clean.
- 5/5
Loved everything about the hotel staff cleanliness and comfort..price was great as well!
- 4/5
The breakfast was really good . The only thing I didn’t like about it they didn’t clean my room I had to let them know after 4th day been there
- 1/5
rooms smelled bad, property not clean
- 5/5
I would stay again.
- 4/5
Perfect location for our trip to Mercedes Benz stadium for a NFL game. Room was great. Check in staff terrific!
- 5/5
Customer service just awesome 😎

Me and my best friend stayed and when we got home we realized that we have been bitten up with bed bugs
- 5/5
Very friendly staff!
- 3/5
Good location. Good daily breakfast. And…. That’s about it.
- 5/5
Always enjoy my stay there
- 5/5
Rooms where clean. Staff was nice would go back again.

Football game was great
- 4/5
Overall a nice hotel! I would definitely stay again
- 5/5
Great service
- 4/5
Microwave in the room smelt the burnt popcorn & everything we heated had a burnt taste
- 5/5
One of my best stays so far
- 2/5
The room was ok the capet was dirty the light was rusty have a smell in the room. The love seat cushion was half off on both side. The floor was not vacuum. At that price it should have been better thin this. The breakfast was fine. The staff was friendly.
- 3/5
I just needed a room for a quick ATL stay. I wasn't expecting anything fancy. The staff was very nice but there were noticeable details inside the room that needed improvement. I took pics of the bedding and the nightstand lamp. These should've been removed and replaced. The fact that someone quality checked the room and thought it was ok to leave it for a guest makes me question that persons sense of care and their standard.
- 3/5
Day receptionist acted like she want to be anywhere but there. No greeting. Room iron didn't work. Ask for replacement iron 10am. At 5:30, Night person told me he was told there were no irons on the property. That the iron in my room must have been left over.
- 3/5
it was just okay. 25 dollar parking
- 4/5
The only thing that I would change is having to pay a parking fee to stay where you’ve already paid to stay… If not by motor vehicle how else are you supposed to get to where you booked to stay.
- 1/5
I can’t sleep in the morning — there’s so much noise, and it always feels like someone’s knocking at the door.
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and helpful!
- 4/5
Totally unsafe area. Nice Hotel, terrible area.
- 4/5
Perfect for a falcons game
- 5/5
Room was big and clean. Easy walk to the stadium to watch the football game.
- 5/5
Nice friendly staff, quiet, nice big room, easy access to attractions, great breakfast every morning . Traffic is horrendous in Atlanta, but gives you time to look around while you are sitting in still in traffic, lol!
- 4/5
Comfortable night at decent price.
- 4/5
Would stay again
- 2/5
CONS: Too many to list, but I'll give it a shot starting with the worst - Surly staff Smell of weed in lobby and stairwells Room not ready upon check in Poor customer service Terrible part of town Parking situation an utter shitshow. Pay $25 and you may or may not get a spot Buyer beware
- 2/5
Wasn’t the cleanest and room smell like cigarettes.
- 4/5
Traffic and Street conditions were horrible!
- 1/5
1. Having your catalytic converter stolen, your window smashed, and your belongings taken. 2. Waking up to the smell of weed in your room and hallways. 3. Asking for an extra pillow or blanket for a pullout sofa that only comes with a single paper-thin sheet. The main issue: My truck, along with 6–7 other vehicles, were broken into early Monday morning after the football game. The reason: The hotel forces guests to park in an unguarded “overflow” lot across the street in order to keep the main, safer lot available for their affiliated Paschal’s restaurant. To make matters worse, staff woke my entire family after midnight to tell me my truck would be towed unless I moved it from the curb of the guarded lot into the unguarded one--despite a different security officer assuring me just hours earlier that it was fine where it was. I told the guy running the counter that lot wasn't safe and unfortunately I was right. The company that owns both properties, H.J. Russell & Co., knows this setup puts guests at risk but doesn’t see to care. I'm going to assume this is because hotel guests aren’t repeat customers like restaurant patrons. Based on the staff’s casual response, I’d assume this happens all the time. "Fill out this form and here is a plastic bag and some tape for your window." Bottom Line: Stay away from here and downtown ATL in general.
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
- 1/5
The breakfast was awful. There was not a variety of food and we barely could get something to eat because food ran out quickly . The property’s condition it was very poor . Dirty bathroom , dirty a/ c with roaches . The neighbors are dangerously people smoking me and my didn’t feel safe .
- 4/5
It was close to Mercedez Benz stadium which made an easy walk... I did not like that I had to pay for parking which I did not find out about until 1 day before arriving... $25 to park at a hotel I'm staying at is not what I look for in a place to stay...
- 5/5
Great location, friendly staff. Bathroom could’ve been a litte bigger.

- 4/5
Rooms were clean, big and comfortable. Breakfast was good. AC unit left a musty mildew smell unfortunately.
- 1/5
The put me in a room where someone else was in. Had to go back downstairs and get a new key and new room.
- 1/5
The room reek of marijuana. The bed had some kind of hard plastic under the fitted sheet. When we told the front desk, they handed us a spray bottle and said that’s all they can do. It was a terrible stay. I would highly recommend finding a different hotel to stay at. I will never stay there again.
- 5/5
The room is very nice!
- 5/5
.
- 3/5
Had a damp feeling in the room. One of the AC was barely working in the suite. At the complimentary breakfast many of the food items were empty.
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay.
- 5/5
Wish parking was included in the price of the room.
- 5/5
Price was right, enjoyed my stay

Walking into the Clarion hotel It was very clean the lady behind the counter checking me in was very polite told me about the Wi-Fi how hotel was set up, where to go in the side door elevator right there 2ndfloor hall was clean walk into the room The room also very clean, nice size bathroom w/lotion, shampoo& conditioner very comfortable beds set up on the side TVset up in between two windows looking out into the nice lit up patio The room has a nice walk in closet I used as a changing room while the bathroom being used nice chair in the corner with a plug&light above, a desk on the side there's a counter with a microwave coffee maker and cups, mini fridge below Continental breakfast with very tasty food on Saturday It was steamed potatoes, turkey links, sausages Patty's, scrambled eggs, biscuits&gravy bagels toast, yogurt water fruit cups oatmeal cereal and 2 waffle makers. Drinks milk juice was orange, apple, peach & cranberry, coffee with cream and sugar the lady taking care of the breakfast area was very tentative keeping it clean and stocked all the way to the very end. Parking area was a little small next to the hotel but they did have additional parking across the side street felt very safe and$25 was way more reasonable then others at$65 Nice and easy walk to Mercedes-Benz stadium I will definitely keep this place in places to stay at when visiting Atlanta I came from out of state Michigan and definitely will be back thank you clarion hotel of downtown Atlanta
- 5/5
We had a great time!
- 4/5
Nothing spectacular, but definitely a good well priced option.
- 4/5
The hotel was Nice/Clean. The breakfast was very good. The information on walking distance from State Farm Arena was misleading on the walking distance. But overall it is a Nice/Clean hotel. The lady in the breakfast area was Very Very Friendly
- 1/5
Dirty Place and run down. Leaks on ceiling
- 5/5
Also parking is $25 a night and it’s cable TV not smart tv.
- 5/5
Great staff and amenities
- 1/5
Due to the storm, the internet was out for all three nights of our stay — with no updates or solutions provided. The staff were rude and unhelpful, and they even misplaced my state ID, which is completely unacceptable. The entire place reeked of weed, making the environment unpleasant. The elevator buttons were broken, but they were still letting guests use it, which felt unsafe. The coffee machine was also out of order, and they didn’t offer any alternative — not even basic morning coffee. Overall, the management is irresponsible, and the experience was far below even the most basic standards.
- 5/5
Was easy check in, close to downtown. Walkable too.
- 4/5
It’s was great when we stayed for Beyonce. The staff were working really hard to flip rooms in time for everyone. It was great walking distance to Mercedes Benz. The parking was crowded but that was to be expected. Overall I would stay again.
- 4/5
Was great , nice beds , good breakfast
- 4/5
Worked for my needs, close to food and for the reason I was in Atlanta for the weekend. Would stay here again. Thanks.
- 5/5
Great location
- 4/5
We took a quick trip to Atlanta, this hotel was good, the people in the room next to us where really loud and you could hear everything they were doing, but overall the hotel was a good stay, breakfast was good the people at the front desk where friendly other then when we checked out the lady at the front desk seemed in a bad mood. But I would most definitely stay again
- 4/5
The rooms were huge, but they were laid out oddly, so there was a lot of non usable space in the middle of the room. This is not an issue, just an observation. The room was clean, comfortable, and relatively quiet for how busy they were. Great location to all the arenas/ stadiums. Would definitely look here again for our next trip down there.
- 3/5
there was a homeless guy hanging out near the exit/entrance who was panhandling, which was disappointing
- 1/5
Beds did not have a mattress pad, furniture was all scratched and damaged, window blind in bathroom would not close all the way so when you are on the toilet those outside could see you/in.
- 5/5
Went for a concert very close to stadium staff friendly and helpful
- 3/5
This place is about location and affordability. It's close to EVERYTHING. The rooms are decent, yet outdated. However, the bathroom was updated and nice. The TV didn't work. We reported it and they showed up the next day before check out. The fridge worked, but the microwave wouldn't heat up room temperature fries. The staff were nice and the breakfast was free. So, there's that.
- 3/5
The king bed room was a decent size. A bit of dust here and there. The bed sheets had stains. The common areas of hotels dirty like hallways and the elevator room. You can tell that it hasn’t been cleaned thoroughly because dust and dirt collected on the baseboards and in the corners. Spider webs in hallways. My room cards stopped working mid stay and they claimed it was because of metal detectors in the stadium, but I had yet to visit to stadium so that was not the reason why both of my cards stopped working. Also did not like that I booked my room months in advance and then received a message while on my way to Atlanta stating my room was “subject to availability”. What does that mean? Why would you send that to a customer that has had a room reserved for months. My room was ready but it was nerve wrecking driving states to get a message as if your room would not be available. They offer breakfast but I did not eat as I had breakfast arrangements. From what I saw, a lot of folks were eating so it must be good! Parking is $25/night and they do not have a lot of it. The overflow lot they also use for event parking and other businesses/restaurants, I think. But it was a place to sleep walking distance to the Mercedes Benz stadium so for that they get an average rating. The staff were kind and helpful if you have questions. It also looks like they charged me twice so I will need to call and follow up with the hotel about returning the double money they took.
- 4/5
Nice and convenient hotel from bus station and state farm arena 👌 nice staff and clean rooms. The breakfast is super nice well done. My only problem is that the tubs drain so damn slow. If they fix this I probably wouldn't stay anywhere else
- 5/5
Excellent staff. Extraordinary hospitality. Highly recommend.
- 5/5
Awesome
- 4/5
Good
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful, room was modern and clean, very close walking distance to Mercedes-Benz stadium which was the reason I came into town. Would stay again if ever back in the city.
- 5/5
Great location z staff is amazing
- 5/5
Really nice hotel close to Mercedes Benz Stadium.
- 4/5
It was clean staff was nice a little noisy cause I stayed on the first floor but everything else was nice
- 4/5
The hotel had problems with the wifi and the guests did not have that service which is vital
- 3/5
Room was clean and check in/out was easy. Parking was expensive and breakfast was crowded. Small pillows on bed. Stay was fine.
- 2/5
The room with it extremely small the bathroom had no counter space
- 4/5
Hotel was clean and breakfast well stocked. Rooms were very worn and dated. Rug had wrinkles for tripping hazard, chairs had ripped upholstery, lamps were rusted. Need some upkeep but very quiet and clean.
- 5/5
This is a great hotel for anyone looking to explore downtown Atlanta. We went to a game at Mercedes Benz Stadium and were able to walk to the stadium and back without any problems. The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was very small and the pocket door didn't close very well but it served it's purpose. The only negative was that our room keys stopped working after one day of our two day stay but the desk staff got it fixed very quickly. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful. Parking was a little difficult to figure out initially but once the desk clerk explained what we needed to do we didn't have any problem. I would certainly stay again if I find myself in Atlanta.
- 5/5
great location will definitely return.
- 2/5
1. The hotel is close to the Stadium where my son attended the soccer game. 2. Good breakfast spread. The bad: 1. The bathtub does not drain well. 2. The room has almost no soundproofing. The ceiling cracked when there was a movement in the room above us. The hallway noise sounded like someone was right outside our door. 3. The TV is awkwardly positioned in the room. It's too far from the beds, and you cannot see what's on TV well if you lie/sit in the bed. Nor can you watch TV comfortably from a wannabe sitting area. 4. There's a balled-up towel in our closet.
- 5/5
They have a great staff! Beds are very comfy. Great location and super clean.
- 4/5
Overall I would stay here again, especially if I’m going to the Mercedes Benz stadium.
- 4/5
The room was fine. The breakfast was delicious and the restaurant next door (Paschal’s) had fantastic food. The only reason I am giving it four stars instead of five is because every time you walk outside, there is someone there pan handling. I was approached three times walking to the restaurant and back and asked for money. Perhaps the hotel security could do a little more to make sure guests aren’t approached in the parking lot and surrounding areas.
- 1/5
Was not a good stay.
- 5/5
Clean rooms. Close to Mercedes benz statium. Great hot breakfast and friendly staff
- 3/5
Exactly where I needed it to be. A little difficult to find where to turn in, but perfect!
- 4/5
Need to work on the plumbing, but clean for the most part and helpful staff
- 3/5
Parking is extra
- 4/5
Enjoyed the stay for the price, but the "extras" like $50 incidental fee and $25 parking fee, is almost too much for a $100 room...
- 3/5
Nice personable staff
- 4/5
They charge $25 for early check in, we showed up hour and a half early. Ok location but it is cheap and close to Mercedes stadium
- 5/5
This was a great location for walking to the stadium to a concert. Beds were comfortable, a/c was cold, room was clean. Not much water pressure, but that’s about standard. Breakfast was good, but had to wait for several items to be put out. Front desk staff were friendly.
- 3/5
Room and grounds were clean. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Only stayed a night but no complaints.
- 4/5
What makes this hotel great is the staff. Madison and Chrissy at the front desk are amazing and helpful. Melissa, who makes breakfast, is sweet and helpful as well. These ladies go above and beyond to help you and make sure your stay is great.
- 4/5
Room was clean but cars in lot were broken I. To the night we stayed. Area is unsafe around hotel.
- 4/5
Excellent for staying. The only problem was at check in was supposed to be at 3pm and the room are not ready and we arrive like 6pm. When finally they get my room, when we open the door, we find another family in that room. And then we need to wait like 25 minutes more for other room.
- 4/5
The room was nice and spacious. Staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was good but options were limited. My stay was great the only concern i had is house keeping did not come once during our 5 night stay.
- 1/5
I had a 12 hours delay in flight when arriving. I've informed the hotel via expedia message. I arrived only the morning after they cancelled my resservation and gave the room to a different person. They did not inform me that they canceled my reservation, and provided no assitance with getting a different hotel. Furthermore, they even tried to charge me for the entire duration of my cancelled trip. Only after several talks from Expedia I got them to provide me refund (with the exception of the first day).
- 3/5
Elevator was broken. Room was clean when we arrived, but no one cleaned or check on the room for the entire stay which was unusual. Breakfast was okay, not great but good for being free.
- 2/5
Staff was not always at the reception. The breakfast was good though.Parking is paid.
- 4/5
Parking lot always full
- 2/5
Room was average staff was ok. Had to pay 25.00 for parking. Woke up the next morning to look out at the parking lot to find police and people standing in the parking lot. Looked down at my vehicle to see the passenger back window broken out. On top of that it was raining pretty good so inside vehicle got really wet. Went out to find 19 vehicles were broke into at this paking lot and 31 in the other parking lot. A few people received calls from the hotel about the break in issue so they can check there vehicles for damage but we did not receive a call. Spent the next few hours filing a police report and clean up glass and covering window for the 4 hour drive home. Found out this has happened 2 other times in the last month at this hotel and not one time did the staff notify any of us at check in of the break in issue. We did end up getting our 25.00 parking fee refunded wow thanks. Talked the the manager about getting the room charges refunded but they were not willing to refund.
- 3/5
We stayed here to be close to the stadium. It wasnt bad but definitely needs to be updated.
- 2/5
Staff were amazing. Room was clean. Area was not safe. Several cars in the hotel over flow lot were broken into/vandalized.
- 1/5
- Room keys are limited to 2 per room, so if you have 4 people per room, not all members can have a key to access the room. - Our room keys for both rooms I had reserved got reset twice in a 5 night stay - Dirty diaper and hair on the bed was found in one of my rooms post check-in - For one of the guests in my group, they were written an early-expiring parking permit that had to be remade - Hotel did not inform of parking costing $25/day until 48 hours prior to stay. This was not mentioned on Expedia. - No housekeeping came to rooms on any of the 5 nights we were there - After requesting an additional blanket for one of the guests, no blanket was ever given. - Elevator malfunctions throughout stay - Musty smell in rooms - Surrounding area wreaked of marijuana - Parking area was at capacity most of the time, leaving me having to park OUTSIDE the hotel. Only pros were that the staff were cordial on some occasions throughout the stay and that the breakfast was okay there. Will not be staying here again though because of all that happened.
- 1/5
Poor room conditions. Needs renovation to meet standard.
- 3/5
The front desk person on check out was HORRIBLE bad attitude rude and just out right unprofessional. I had to get her together quickly. Had an attitude because I was inquiring about my money. The hotel kept trying to charge my card for the room that I had already paid for on check in. Rolling her eyes not looking at me but speak to me as if she not interested.
- 5/5
It was close to the mercedes benz stadium
- 4/5
Fine
- 1/5
Do not stay here better sleep on the street so outdated it is scary you ca tell they give maintenance to the hotel
- 1/5
Dirty linens, dirty floor.
- 2/5
The hotel is unresponsive to emails after my stay and the phone number listed for the hotel is non working. I find the management/ownership of this hotel uncaring, unprofessional and lacking basic standards to meet the needs of its guests. I would recommend any other hotel despite its proximity to the convention center.
- 2/5
Beside it being close to the stadium i was overall disappointed. I booked a pull out couch with a bed and when we arrived early they said we could not check in so later we came back and they said rooms were full and they only had one bed. My friends had to sleep on the dirty floor. The nightstands were disgusting and the sheets had cigarette burns on them and smelled like cigarettes. Do not stay here
- 3/5
Bed was not made when we arrived and elevator was slow. Breakfast was not good. Great stay other than that
- 2/5
Everybody was so nice but the room smelled very bad and the toilet wasn’t flushing properly we had to fix it
- 4/5
This is my second stay at this property. I loved the stay the first time but this stay was different. When I checked in I did not go immediately to the room but went for lunch. Upon entering the room I noticed that the room had not been serviced. They gave us another room that also hadn’t been serviced. The third room was clean and acceptable. I’m willing to give this property another shot as I do understand sometimes things get overlooked. The young man at the front desk was willing to accommodate us by changing our room when we showed pictures of what we had walked in to.
- 4/5
Biggest complaint was parking. VERY misleading... no free parking... it cost $25/day! And the small lot onsite didn't host everyone, which meant going across the street to a sketchy lot. It worked, but there are definitely things they could do much better.
- 3/5
As someone who is vegan, breakfast options are limited. I made this clear when booking and even asked a receptionist if they could get something else. However, I was told they do not order other food items. I ended up buying my own breakfast food. As noted, the rooms was spacious. However, it's very dated in terms of decor. Lighting was not great. The room also felt incredibly worn and was a little dusty in some areas e.g., rusty lamps, stained and worn chairs and toilet seat, scratched and marked walls and doors, to name a few. In general, it was a quiet stay and staff were pleasant. It was convenient for my trip but I would not stay there again. I've been charged around $2 after checking out but I have no idea what it is for.
- 1/5
The room was not even turned over yet. Very dirty. The lobby smelled so musty, so did the room. The receptionist was nice though. I canceled my stay and picked a different hotel
- 5/5
Good breakfast cooked by Melissa
- 5/5
From outside the property is neat and clean. Inside is very clean but a little drab and dated. Definitely could use an update. The desk staff were amazing - professional, courteous, helpful, and very pleasant. Nica and Kennedy went out of their way to be pleasant and helpful. The cleaning staff that we encountered in the halls were pleasant and seem to be busy. The only issue we saw was the continental breakfast was poorly managed. Replenishing food items seemed to take 30-40 minutes leaving a lot of people to come in see nothing there and leave
- 5/5
Awesome
- 1/5
The worker that worked over night 4/20-4/21 was very rude and made us leave the property at 4a.m over a minor misunderstanding between myself and husband. No licks was pass just got a little loud. She went and got the officer on duty and had him remove us from the room. They way of her telling me YEAH YALL CANT STAY HERE AND GOTTA LEAVE WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING.
- 4/5
This was a very conveniently located hotel - just 10 minutes away from downtown Atlanta, with parking (extra cost), breakfast included and fridge in the room.
- 4/5
It was a good stay, overall. There was only one set of dumbbells in the exercise room so that was a bit odd, but I was able to make do. The room was clean and the refrigerator worked well so that is definitely a plus. Had some random person open my door as I was in there (door was not pushed all the way as I was just grabbing a few things before heading back out) so that was a little uncomfortable. But nothing happened to my things once I left and ensured the door was fully closed. The parking was a little tight and the restaurant signs make it a bit confusing when it looks like you are not supposed to go to the back of the hotel to park as it looks like it is a valet area. But other than that confusion, things were just smooth.
- 4/5
Good
- 5/5
The guest services was wonderful at every shift first second third shift they were wonderful people we definitely look forward to staying there again!
- 3/5
Not all the outlets worked and heat/air conditioning was difficult to maintain
- 3/5
Rooms outdated and dark. Door frame and casing were loose and cracked. Breakfast ran out of eggs and OJ with 45 mins left. The lady attended say anything or offer to explain
- 1/5
Nithing terri le room and service

Great place to stay . Nice staff . Clean

I can’t say anything bad about the hotel but people above my head was making noise most of the night sound like kids running people next door to me actually fighting I mean actually putting hands on each other. In this climate you’re almost afraid to complain.

Great location right down the street from State Farm Arena when we come to a concert or a game oh it's nice it's nice you got a restaurant right in front of you so you can right there where you need to do everything else so I have a great time great location

The front desk staff went from disinterested to disrespectful during our four day stay. When we checked in, our questions were met with "I already told you that" and "You can just read the card." On the last morning of our stay, we needed assistance with maneuvering a wheelchair, a couple of backpacks, and a large suitcase to get out the automatic door that was not working. When I asked for help, the response was a laugh and "Have a great day." My response to this unbelievable, disrespectful service was also unacceptable as I have never been treated so poorly. Usually, when I am with my 82-year-old mother in her wheelchair, people are so kind to both of us that this incident really stood out. This staff needs training, improvement plans, and possible separation from the organization.

The air conditioning did not work, the description of the room was not what we received. The bedding had holes on it and was dirty with stains. The bathtub had rust coming from the faucet

The frond desk service was amazing!! The entire staff was so helpful!!

Great employees at front desk and breakfast area

When I got to my room the tv box was missing. Called downstairs to report the issue, they said they could come up. Never did, so I had to go downstairs. Then front desk associate initiated claimed there were no other rooms available and no tv box. Called housekeeper but no answer to solve tv box issue. Then she left to investigate as if I was lying about the condition of the room, however I did understand that issue. Then miraculously another room came available after about an hour of waiting. There is no parking or better very limited parking & the room was okay to say the least. Front desk attendant was extremely rude, Kennedy was her name. Overall was only a good stay due to proximity to the Benz dome. This location has so much potential however it remains mediocre for whatever reason. Pictures are also very deceiving.

Great stay
- 2/5
The service was below par, the hotel was run down and the items we needed for our room were consistently unavailable. The staff was not kind or understanding, and the marketing was misleading. We will not return

Terrible
- 2/5
The pictures displayed on the Website is not what you get when you stay here. Everything was dirty. All meatal surfaces were rusting. The office chair was ripped aand broken. The TV didn't work properly, I know this because my 11 year old ould not figure it out. After taking a shower the room smelled of mold. The pictures of how close it was to the things in the downtown area was not accurate. It was not in thr downtown area at all.

Great

So thankful to Chrissy for making

When I checked into my room 208 the bathroom had been used. It clearly smelled like someone had just got done doing the number two !!!! Soap & rag used! Front desk had to put me in another room. Very noisy when people are walking down the hall above you.
- 2/5
Let’s start with the bathroom floor, there was hair all over the floor. Two, their elevator seems as if it’s about to shut down while you wait and while you’re inside. The room was so dark and gloomy. My son did leave his headphones and when I called they had them at the front desk for. Shoutout to the person that turned them in.

Inside the property, everything is Ok.
- 4/5
It was a quick stay over as we were heading to a concert. We decided to stay due to the incoming storm. Hotel and staff were nice. Only complaints I had were, there was only one elevator and it was SOOOO SLOW! The blanket on the bed could have been a bit thicker. I felt like I was sleeping with just a sheet on. But other than that we have a peaceful stay.

The parking lot for the hotel was full from people parking there from the restaurant. No one answered the phone and the receptionist went into the back room and refused to come out leaving 20 guests stranded in the lobby unable to check in. We had to find another staff member and tell them that the receptionist had left and we had been in the lobby for over an hour. Eventually someone came and help. She was nice but the only thing we got for our trouble was comped parking. My first time here was pleasant but this time around was god awful.
- 3/5
That’s all I can say that’s positive though. My room was depressing. The phone didn’t work, the tv didn’t work with ease and had to be fiddled with every time I wanted to turn it on. The sheets and cover were very thin and the paint splatters on the bathroom floor showed a lack of quality control during the last update. The lone elevator was painfully slow and it made me wonder what would happen if it went out. I don’t expect high end anything at this level of hotel but I do expect a modicum of pride and care in presentation. If there were more Melissas at the Clarion I have no doubt this would have been a 5 star review.
- 2/5
There was a 3 hours delay on getting our room ready due to having no rooms available(cleaned). I didn’t appreciate getting an email 30 minutes before checking in that availability was an issue. If having the rooms cleaned for people checking in that day, it should have been sent hours before check in time. I apologized to the front desk staff whom other people in the lobby made her cry due to their rude attitude and remarks towards having to wait for their room.
- 4/5
Paying for parking at the hotel in which you are staying.
- 3/5
1 day stay. Television went out. No one could come see about it until next day.
- 5/5
The staff was awesome, and the breakfast cooks name Melissa was super friendly and didn’t hesitate to accommodate me when I had to go to class early! Thanks everyone for the awesome stay.
- 3/5
I like that fact that its close to everything, but this property needs to be updated. The staff is amazing!!!
- 1/5
The carpeting was nasty and poorly maintained. The curtains were dirty. One chair for 2 queen bed room was ridiculous. The bathroom sink was a joke-no room to set anything on. The phone never worked and the TV quit at 9 pm-no signal. The maintenance over all gets a 0 out of 10. However, the check-in desk area was as nice as the rest of the hotel should be.
- 1/5
No too many options for dinner charge to much for parking a car
- 2/5
I did not feel safe here. Would not recommend it for other women who are traveling solo to stay at

This was one of the worst stays that i have experienced. The rooms looked worn. Nothing like the pictures. When we got in the room i went back down to report that the phone in the room didn't work. Even after rporting it several times over the 3 day stay, and receiving the same response that they would be up to take care of it, at check out the phone still dodnt work or had it been checked. The worst part was that i caouldnt get any towels. I literelly went to the desk everyday, several times, as well as seeing other guests in need of towels, doing the same thing. The response was that they were washing and it would be about an hour. No towels??!!!!! How does this happen? And the staff didnt seem very concerned either. The said that they wouldnt bring them up when thay were ready and i would have to come back down to the front desk. I definitely couldnt call to check!! I would not stay at this hotel again!!

Room smelled like weed and walls are thin. Could hear the neighbor all weekend. The smell was bad enough it gave us headaches
- 5/5
Clean, quiet, parking over price, but everything else perfect
- 4/5
The hotel was nice only thing I didn’t like is the elevator is very slow
- 5/5
The location of the hotel right in the middle of everything
- 3/5
Front desk customer service was absolutely great. My room was in fair condition until i went into bathroom. It smelled like urine. When I was taking a shower I noticed that a bar of open soap on top of shampoo bottle. I felt like the shower was still dirty because of that. My last night there the guest above me made it sound as if they’d fall through the ceiling every time they walked. Didn't rest well at all.
- 3/5
Floor above me noisy and limited parking
- 3/5
Negatives: no shower curtain in room upon arrival (front desk put one up for us), not enough pillows on the bed, no extra towels available when requested (or pillows), thin walls so you hear EVERYONE above, below and beside you, breakfast was crowded and needed more attention to stocking, refilling and such, entire hotel was dated and carpets had stains on them, light flickered in bedroom so just kept the main overhead light off and parking was an extra $25 per day. Positives: hotel staff was friendly, beds and pillows were very comfortable, great water pressure in shower, a lot of selection for breakfast (just understaffed and not quick on the refill/stocking), spacious room and bathroom, coffee/tea maker, microwave and mini fridge all in room, convenient walk to Mercedes Benz and Georgia World Congress Center. Overall it wasn't a bad stay, but if you are picky and need something a bit more upscale...this is not the place for you. I'm easy and not uptight about a lot. While the hotel fit the lower budget price, I will not be staying here again.
- 3/5
The staff was terrible. We asked for cleaning and towels 3 days in a row and every time they acted like they took a note, they didn’t, and no service came. We had no towels. They finally handed me the towel you put on the floor. Breakfast was reheated and served the same every day from Thurs-Mon. Poor selection and poor service, and I am not a fancy traveler.
- 2/5
Our room was terrible , carpet was a hazard to falling because of so many large wrinkles . The heater unit sounded like a large airplane , the entire place from one end of the hall to the other smells of weed . The tv barely works and had to call for someone to come give a new remote due to remote control problem and the ext day the same issue . Just did without the tv that night : the lobby was maintained but the rooms need to be updated and the broken lamps and rusted lamps need to all be replaced. It’s terrible in my opinion
- 3/5
The elevator is one of the slowest that you'll find in any hotel (not a complaint, just an observation). One complaint is the $25 parking fee (daily) which was not disclosed previously when the reservation was made that was somewhat excessive, especially considering the price per night for the rooms. Not the hotels fault, I'm assuming, but the entire floor wreaked very strongly of some "loud" marijuana. Considering the hotel was full of elementary aged young people for the competition, this was extremely disrespectful and I'm.sure the staff had to have been aware (as the odor was overwhelming for the majority of our stay. Rooms were fairly clean so no worries there. Those wanting to reserve rooms here just please be made aware of the parking fee.

In my room was terrible floor was filthy.Walls were filthy ceiling was filthy. Will never stay here again.
- 1/5
Horrible worst hotel ever! I wouldn’t even have given one star. Stayed two days they never had any towels for us they said they didn’t have any. I had to buy some to shower did not have soap or anything in rooms. I had to clean the bathroom and room it was still dirty. Couldn’t not even check in because they put us on a list cause no rooms were cleaned at 6pm at night. Would not ever stay here again.

They should have a good people in the front

Carpet was tore and bunched up. Had to move to 3 different rooms before we found one suitable for the evening.

Breakfast was very good, Helpful Staff.
- 3/5
Staff was nice and helpful. Kennedy gave us advice on dining and getting around the city. She was nice, professional, and honest.
- 5/5
It was great
- 2/5
The property was not what i expected, the phone didn't work and issues with tv
- 3/5
Self-diagnosed technology intervention was required to have a functioning TV. The staff was overwhelmed and wasn't able to assist. Otherwise, was fair value for the price. The area seems safe enough but lighting was not ideal in the area around the property (i.e. parking lot).
- 4/5
Amazing staff and service. I would recommend renting a car or Uber/Lyft for transportation.
- 2/5
Room smells like pot and cigarette smoke…dirty.
- 3/5
Southern hospitality was superb but the cleaning this in the hotel was slightly disgusting. For example like the remote for the TV was filled with gunk. The furniture decor was disgusting rusty and old, especially if the hotel looks like it was newly renovated things not working in the room a little disappointed. The location perfect that’s my spiel on this.
- 4/5
It was amazing place but sucks you have to pay to park in their parking lot.
- 1/5
From the moment I exited my car I felt unsafe! There was no security monitoring the parking lot area, and it was dark. I was accosted in the parking lot by a homeless person asking for money; he walked up to me while I exited my car - I had no idea he was there until he was there - I was completely blindsided! When I got to my room I just felt uneasy, not only due to my prior experience, but there was a door in the room that may have been a conjoined room door, but there was no lock to indicate it was locked. Very unsettling! I entered the bathroom in my room, and there was what appeared to be a bunch of spit in the toilet - disgusting! That was the last straw! Needless to say I did not stay - I packed myself up and left to check in to another hotel. My experience was horrible!
- 2/5
Horrible condition, paint cchipped all over, carpet had rolls in it, toilet ran constantly, bathroom was a mold project, ants in room
- 3/5
The price is the nicest thing about this property. The rooms were big, which was nice, and the bed was comfy enough. They had a phone in the room, but it was not hooked up. When we asked about it, the staff knew the phones did not work. Across the street was a park, and a the sun went down, the opioid zombies came fishing out to the park. I never felt safe the entire time I was there.
- 2/5
Each encounter with the staff proved rude and not worth any time. I would not recommend staying here for a multitude of reasons, the staff being the main issue. A few days into our stay while we were out we noticed sinks covered due to a boil advisory in Atlanta which the hotel did not inform us on or post anywhere to warn anyone. While yes the beds were soft and the area was nice, the bathroom faucet had rust dripping down, zero water pressure, odd stains out an about, and an issue with their tvs that they would refuse to fix properly besides hitting a remote a few times.
- 2/5
They never clean the rooms, you have to request it,. The bed is comfortable and the room is big… but the shower does not have good water pressure.
- 1/5
The photos/pics in the hotels.com app DO NOT represent this hotel. Wow. Disgusting place. Rust around all the light fixtures, water damage arouns sink, couch qas disgusting. we never even pulled back the sheets. asked for refund, and lady at the desk said she would take care of it. One week later and refund still hasnt posted.
- 2/5
Breakfast was good and included in the stay. Staff would not answer the phone when calling from outside location. No extra toilet paper in room.
- 4/5
The lighting system in the bathroom should be changed so that the light and the extractor are independent, the yellow lights for white light, more illumination, thank you
- 5/5
Free breakfast was nice!
- 3/5
Nika was very helpful at the front desk and Melisa was just as helpful with breakfast. On the other hand, we had to wait forever for hot water in the room and then the water pressure was almost none existent and then the water completely went off while trying to shower.
- 3/5
The property is average. If you need a place to stay for a night, its perfect!
- 5/5
Great customer service

NIKA, MADISON AND KENNEDY were STELLAR! They made my stay absolutely incredible. Kind, friendly, professional and helpful in whatever I needed. I strongly recommend.
