Front desk staff were friendly. The hostess/servers at Champions restaurant were horrible. The lobby bar was never open during our three day stay even though we were told it would be for the weekend. The food lounge/store was only opened in the mornings. When it was open there was only one staff member available and the lines were horrible. I was very disappointed with this stay.

Very clean hotel - there was a wedding when we were there - so being on the second floor was noisy. We could feel the ground tremble but the hotel itself is perfectly situated by the airport and you take sky train from hotel to there.

Clean, comfortable, and super efficient for a night before an early flight. Sky train is just outside the hotel and one stop to the terminal.

Stayed at the Atlanta Marriott Gateway before an early flight and unfortunately won’t stay again. We arrived late and went for dinner around 9:30 PM hoping to eat quickly and get to bed since we had to be up at 4:00 AM. Service was terrible. We had to ask 3 times just to place our food order. The waitress seemed overwhelmed, forgot my wife’s drink, and cleared other tables before finally taking our order. As an airport hotel, they should be more aware that many guests are tired travelers on tight schedules who just want efficient service and rest.

The front desk staff was helpful. There was a large party at the front entrance bar and it was very crowded and noisy. Our beds were small

Nice hotel close to the airport

This was a good hotel. The staff was very friendly, I didn’t order room service or go to the restaurant but I did visit the store. They do not accept cash, card or charge to the room only. Not a big deal but I felt all options should be available. The only thing I had a problem with was the WiFi charge daily. That’s ridiculous, it’s 2026 please include that in the room pricing, seems just like a money grabber and the hotel is to nice for that. Lastly, to be located so closely to the airport, I didn’t hear one plane or train noise.

The staff when I checked in were wonderful. Unfortunately, my room was not clean with hair on the bathroom floor and the toilet seat was dirty. When I checked out, the staff member was very rude and acted like I was “bothering” her when I asked a simple question about the SkyTrain. Won’t be staying here again.

The hotel was easy to get to from the airport. The facility is clean, and the staff is friendly.

Was told at check in (about 5:30 pm) that the restaurant was closed due to a large wedding event (not sure why that would cause a restaurant to close), but the front desk clerk did give us access to the exec lounge. The food in the lounge was better than expected and we were able to have a full meal (which helped to cover the cost of one night of valet parking at $52!) The toilet valve made a whistling noise. The coffee maker in the room did not work and we had to contact front desk to get a replacement, all at 4:00 am since the executive lounge did not open until 6:30 am. Then I had to wait over 40 minutes for my vehicle to be retrieved (after calling the front desk to have it retrieved ahead of my exit from the room) from the valet parking because the valet didn't realize it was parked across the street at another hotel. He sat at the parking lot gate waiting for someone from the other hotel to let him out (over 15 minutes). I finally walked over to the truck with my bag and got in the truck at the other hotel. Ridiculously long wait!

Rooms were clean and very nice. Main issue was with the location of my room specifically. I was next to the concierge lounge. No complaints about the food, it was wonderful. Breakfast starts at 6:00 am. I could hear people going in and out because the door slams shut. It was nonstop starting at 6:00 am. In addition, there was no running water in my room during the last hour or so of my stay. I was unable to shower which was also inconvenient.

I see others complain about it being old. Price, location, cleanliness. friendly staff make it an easy choice for an early flight.

We encountered difficulties with at least two different front desk staff members. Once during check in and then again when trying to store our luggage for just a few hours. This was particularly disappointing given that we were paying customers at a high rate, with no discounts, traveling with a toddler, and needing to catch a flight shortly after. We had other hotel options, but we chose this one specifically because we expected the convenience of being able to store our luggage while attending an event. It made the experience unnecessarily stressful and disappointing.

The whole staff was extremely helpful , friendly. From the valet to the house keeping everyone seemed to enjoy there job ,helping people and being at work. The restaurant was pretty good ( maybe a little expensive) but again great service and very convenient staying open late. If you are using the atlanta airport i highly recommend this location. The sky tran leaves every 3 minutes and takes you right her via a 1 or 2 minute ride. If i had to say one thing that could use any work it would be the Starbucks. It was not bad but after my experience with all the friendly staff at the Marriott the staff in the Starbucks was a little disappointing.

I always stay with Marriot because of the options in amenities. I love the snack area available by the check out and the amenities in the room. Good job all the staff was great down to the valet attendant; this was my 1st time at that one and they are all very helpful and were able to answer my questions. N/A

Location is super - could only be better with a dedicated entrance to the SkyTrain so we wouldn't have to walk outside ;-) Restaurant (Champions) was quite good. Our server was excellent. I wish hotels, this one included, did not have the mattress so high off the floor. It's awkward and makes sitting on the bed nigh impossible for those of us in the 5'6" range ;-/

Stayed here for an overnight stay to connect with another flight the next day. Easy to get to by Skytrain - right from the baggage claim area to the hotel area. Easy walk with roller suitcase from there. No breakfast buffet though - would’ve been nice to have that.

Since our arrival at the main entrance, service was excellent. Valet parking attendant made us feel welcomed and appreciated. Check-in was done in a very warm and professional way. The person that took us to our room was very courteous and welcoming too. Definitely, a great place to stay.

It was very easy to get to this hotel from the airport and vice versa. Very friendly staff, clean property and convenient location. Their in room dining options are limited though. However, there are other dining options available.

So convenient to the airport for those late night arrivals and early departure. Made the trip so much enjoyable to be able to get a good nights rest!

Check in was so easy. Everyone is so courteous. Very clean. Great location to catch the tram to ATL.

The facility was beautiful but my room key wouldn’t scan to get into the parking garage and I kept having to go back to the front desk for the guy to reset my room key. Finally after walking back and forth several times, he told me just to take a ticket and then scan my room key to get out of the garage. Honestly at that point, I feel like I should’ve been upgraded to valet service. When I signed up for the parking, they said valet was only $5 more. If I would’ve realized that the key didn’t work for the parking garage, I would’ve done valet. Also, we asked for a straw at the front desk and was told, you didn’t have any, but we found a pile of straws at the bar and so we just got it ourselves.

The hotel is near the airport and you can use the sky train to get there. Very convenient.

The stay was good but we paid in cash and the man got us for $50 because he said it was $50 deposit and then another $50 for parking! Didn’t give a receipt and when it was time to get our deposit back he was no where to be found! Claimed it did not show them where we paid all of that!

Clean modern large lobby, restaurant very friendly and welcoming staff, large newly decorated room, comfy bed, linens and pillows, easy to get to. If you fly in international you have to take a shuttle to the domestic terminal and take a train, get off the first stop, walk down and cross the street. Very easy.

While the restaurant was very good, it was not open for breakfast. In-room service was sketchy. We ordered breakfast in our room twice and the orders were not complete and the food and coffee were not hot. The pool was clean and beautiful but the water was cold (freezing) and there was no hot tub. The gym was above average.

I enjoyed the on site eating sites and I loved that it was in walking distance of Gateway Arena. It felt safe walking to and from the arena.

We came to Atlanta to watch the WNBA team play. It was right next to the stadium so we were able to walk. The room was spacious and very clean. The bathroom was amazing! Valet service for parking was convenient as well. I will definitely return.

We liked the ease of getting to the airport via the skytrain. The hotel rooms are a little outdated as far as mattresses. We stayed at Aloft Northwest when we got to Austin, TX. It’s an affiliate of Marriott and the bed there was amazing. Maybe check into what mattresses they have there.

An especially heartfelt shoutout to Mohamed at the valet desk. Who walked my 80 year old mother to the room with out luggage while I returned our rental car. And Leslie our server at dinner who was so friendly. Every employee greeted us with a smile.

We came from Birmingham, AL and stayed overnight prior to flying to Mexico the following morning. It was so close convenient to the airport, which made things so much easier.

Upon arrival, my room was not quite ready. The receptionist took care of the other check in procedures and saw to my immediate comfort. She was professional and very nice. As soon as my room was ready she processed my keys and I went up.

We stayed there for one night so that we could be close to the airport. We picked this hotel based off the pictures and advertising of the hotel (sound proof room: autism friendly). I’m sure you can guess, the room was nothing like the pictures. The room was not sound proof. As soon as you walked in the disappointment on my face from seeing how uncomfortable the beds looked, and THE SMELL! Just musty. As much as we paid (parking especially), it should have been MUCH nicer. Not to mention, my kid got cut up so bad from just trying to climb in to bed.

Perfect airport hotel.

When we arrived and checked into our room we received a room with a clogged toilet. There was a note left by prior guest stating the issue and it wasn’t cleaned or fixed. We were given a new room but was definitely disgusting. Otherwise, the stay was fine.

So close to the Atlanta airport with Sky Train one minute away which takes you right into the airport.

It should be noted that there is no airport shuttle and the Sky Train doesn’t go to the International Terminal. You will have to take a taxi or transfer to another sky train at the Domestic Terminal.

The employees were friendly and helpful. The online dinner ordering for room service did not work!
