I called 6 hours prior to arriving to tell them I needed a first floor room, as I couldn’t do stairs, and was given room 1083 at 11 pm. The room was nothing like AYO advertised, it was dirty, had bugs, the linen was either burned or filthy stained, smelled like smoke even though I requested/booked a non-smoking room, it was disgraceful that they would charge $60 for something that had barely been cleaned, furniture was shredded or burned, the bathroom floor had dead bugs, and barely painted over the “artwork” scribbled all over the door. I wouldn’t have trusted getting in the shower. This should be refunded immediately for how gross this was, dirty microwave and fridge, obviously no cleaned. I had the heebee jeebies!

The outside and inside are filthy. Smelled of smoke, dirty floor when we came in with someone's old hair tye still on it and tons of dirt, human scab in the bed, stains rips and cigarette burn holes in the sheets and blankets and pillow cases, mattresses extremely stained, stained towels, roaches in the hairdryer and light fixtures, broken curtains, broken bathroom door, the back of the toilet was broken and they spackled it together, a wall outlet was completely ripped out with the cord hanging out, bent/broken bathroom curtain so it wouldn't actually close and the shower curtain was stained, hair still all over the shower floor, smoke detector was removed from the wall, burn from an incense right on the ceiling fan with the stick still stuck in it, the AC was ancient and blows luke warm air, the chairs had stains and rips, had to go buy cleaning supplies and new blankets and pillow cases just to even be able to stand staying in there, the pool was not open and covered in trash and leaves, there was trash left out on the balcony and old not working appliances, there was no microwave in the room and the TV had a white line through it, the morning we left I found a baby roach alive this time and that was it we left immediately. DISGUSTING!! And the quality of ppl that look like they love there or whatever make you feel extremely uneasy and stare you down. The chain on the door was bent and almost broken off. I took so many pictures of it all but it only allows me to add 8.

The chair was literally slashed, the curtains didnt even shut and were broken, the hotel inside was visiably dirty, the water in sink didnt even work. There were fly traps till up. AND it smelled heavily of cigarette smoke I could TASTE it. I don't care if a place is old or run down bc Im just sleeping there but it was embaressingly disgusting. As if managment has no respect or cares about their property.

I rarely leave one-star reviews, but this motel is an absolute disaster. The room was filthy—no refrigerator, no phone, and a broken, cracked pipe. The outside area was equally disgusting. I’ve uploaded photos to the site to show exactly how bad it is. Save yourself the headache and avoid this place at all costs.

This place seems to have improved from last year. If you are lucky, you will get a room without problems. There does not seem any advantage to stay at the Days Inn except for the continental breakfast and sometimes better internet.

There were cockroaches crawling around the room, and the microwave still had leftover food waste inside. The air conditioner was so dirty it was unusable, and every surface in the room was covered in layers of old dust. I tried to save $10 or $20, but instead I ended up questioning my life choices. If you want to see what truly terrible hygiene looks like, go there and experience it yourself. Spend just one night there, and you’ll clearly realize how good your current living conditions actually are.

We wish we would have just slept in our car at a rest stop. The room was disgusting. It was a non-smoking room but smelled like smoke. There were boogers and bodily fluids wiped on the doors and walls. The floors were visibly dirty. The bedding had multiple burn holes. You could see disgusting mattress stains through the sheets. One of the lamps was broken and dangling above the bed, multiple outlets didn’t work. I would never stay here again and do not recommend even for the low price, it’s not worth it.

A good budget place to stay for a quick rest. Clean, reasonably quiet. The bathroom light didn't work, but it was ok.

The place was disgusting, I did not get the room I ordered with one bed. He had to switch me to another one because of the system or something. The sheets were questionable with stains all over them. There was one pillow that was okay enough for me to put my head on. There was no remote to the TV. The Wi-Fi did not work. I could not park near the room. I was put in and I kept having to walk or drive rather to The main property in front of it check-in window because apparently that property doesn't have anybody there after a certain time and I was freezing colds and I just wanted to sleep. There were handprints on the wall. The paint missing from the ceiling. There was trash literally on the left side floor of the nightstand or whatever was in between the beds. I would never had stay there if I had none and I almost left and sacrificed the money but was exhausted from moving for 2 days

The property & rooms are misrepresented in the listing. It is a dirty, terribly run down motel 6. I couldn't run out of there fast enough.

Find somewhere else to stay. Cockroaches, room smelled, shower leaking upon entering the room and handle almost came off when turning it off, broken shelf with screws sticking out, stains on sheet and dirt and crumbs under the sheets. We checked out once we saw the cockroaches running around and booked a different hotel about 15 minutes away that was much better. Dealing with OYO’s customer service was a joke, sending the same messages and saying I would get a response for a refund then not. When expedia’s customer support called them they denied anything was wrong with the room.

They sold my room

I booked two rooms online last Friday and when I arrived they were overbooked and could not accommodate us, which I understand but when I requested my money for two rooms to be refunded, I have repeatedly been told I checked out of the room and completed my stay so they would not validate my claim. I have submitted the check-in to the hotel that I was able to get into 30 miles away for the same evening, I submitted the paper that the front desk person printed and gave to me, asking a neighboring hotel to give me a room that same night, to which they were also overbooked. It's been 4 days and I've talked to multiple people. This is an absolute nightmare to deal with so far.

This was a hell hole! We booked Ashland Studio Inn (ASI) for two rooms, 5 people, and 1 night. When we arrived, they transferred us to Days Inn, next door, because ASI was still refurbishing their inn. I believe they are "sister" inns, but was never told the relationship. In writing the "script" to explain what we had reserved, they stated we were supposed to be there for 2 nights (our reservation was for 1 night). The confusion and time consumed telling them what we had signed up for was extremely frustrating. When we got to our room, the refrigerator was making such a racquet that we unplugged it. There were only two working outlets, so charging our phones, and using our other plug-in devices was not possible. The other people (3) in our group used the toilet in their room and it immediately flooded the bathroom!!!! We went to the office asking for help, which they could not offer, and when we asked for towels to mop up the water and for a plumber to come and fix the toilet, they had ONLY 2 towels, and gave us a plunger! We asked for another room and they told us they were all sold out, which didn't seem to jibe with the number of vehicles in the parking lot. Anyway, the night was further difficult because several people were outside carousing loudly and we tossed and turned for several hours. Needless to say, we will NOT be returning. When we went to the local Waffle House and told them about our experience, they said that they had heard similar complaints in the past.

STAY AWAY!!!! Tried to check in at normal check in time and room wasn’t going to ready for another 2 hours. Once we were able to get into the room, room was dirty, tv stand was broken, burn holes in the bedding, light fixtures hanging off the walls, lights not working, shower head sprays in every direction but straight, ac unit load as a jackhammer. The people who are clearly living at this place, hang outside in the parking lot playing loud music, drinking alcohol and getting high all night long. Stay away from this place if you have kids or traveling with anyone you care about. I’ve stayed in nicer places while being deployed to war zones.

This picture is completely deceptive. I picked this because of good review, but my non-smoking room wreaked of smoke, was nasty and I felt very unsafe. I did not want my feet to touch the floor. I was so disappointed and I had trouble with my reservation not want to be recognized. I have never stayed in a worse place.

The scariest place I have ever stayed. ALL the good reviews are FAKE!!!!!!! I was so afraid. There was garbage everywhere, broken appliances just lying around. Horrendous!!! DO NOT book this place. Search the reviews. The 10/10 reviews are bogus and probably written by mgmt for the people who are living there. Then there’s the REAL reviews (2/10, 4/10). We just needed a place to crash for the night after a long road trip. Front desk girl was nice, then we walked thru the parking lot to get to our room and there were appliances outside peoples rooms, some of their doors were wide open to the outside and inside was disgusting. Got to our room and 3 of the lights didn’t work, toilet didn’t flush, smoke detector missing but there were exposed wires, burn holes in the bedding. Needless to say, we returned the key and left. Very sketchy and nasty and I didn’t feel safe. It was one step above living on the streets. We went to a quality inn instead. Honestly, it was a bit traumatizing.

Out of all the years I’ve worked in the hotel business and stayed in various hotels, this place stands out as the most disrespectful and unpleasant place to stay. I arrived without towels, toilet paper, or pillow covers. I wouldn’t let my child sleep here, and I wouldn’t let anyone else stay for the most part. To make matters worse, the first room I checked in to had its door unlocked and left open. The second room was even worse; it was a birthday weekend, and I was a responsible adult who didn’t drink and drive.

This is a roach motel, after checking in and got to the room there were roaches there in the room I went and I told them I was not staying at that room and they said that was my room I'm like you have roaches

The first room one of the beds was broken. Was moved to another room, the heat/ac was messed up. The little plate thing that tells you your settings was gone so had to guess at it finally get the heat on. There was loud music playing alll night long. Then the next morning a man shows up at our door, because he had rented that room for a week and his check out was that morning and was looking to retrieve his belongings but his belongings wont in there when we got the room. So they had charged that man and me for the same room and nobody knows what happen to the mans belongings. He was a older man and was walking with a walker, i felt so sorry for him. And the room wasnt all that clean!! Bath tub looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in months

Out of date rooms dirty

My stay wasn’t horrible. There were some damage to the flooring in the room that looks to have been like that for a while. Towels had holes in them. All that I can overlook to an extent but the dead bugs in the drawers and the stains on the blankets and the dirt build up along the walls can not be overlooked it’s seems they go in and run the vacuum back and forth a couple times and they don’t do anything else. The couch was filthy. The extra lock on the inside didn’t work. Only positive thing about the place is that it’s close to a lot of stores and places to eat

I think it was decent enough for a pit staff to take a nap. The price was reasonable. My turnoff were the roaches in the room.

Members of our team observed activity outside the property that made them uncomfortable, including individuals loitering near the entrance late at night. We also had concerns about the safety of leaving our rental vehicle in the parking lot overnight. While the hotel itself may be suitable for some travelers, we felt the environment was not appropriate for a business stay and ultimately chose to relocate. A more secure atmosphere would have made a significant difference.

I had an amazing interaction with the staff they were so nice but our room had Roches. We killed about 6 and my husband said he saw at least two behind the toilet go into a hole. I even plugged it with toilet paper. The pool was amazing and my kids loved it but the roach problem will definitely make us pick another place. When we got there I scrubbed the sink, and bathroom. The bathtub we wore out shoes. I'm an Airbnb cleaner and I didn't have my scrub brush but did what I could with a can of Lysol. We still wore flip flops in the shower

The hotel was full of code violations and, health violations. There was a broken sink, broken shower wall, mold, live electrical wires were coming out of the wall onto the bed, open rooms full of garbage. The property was in compete disarray with a lot more issues than lead to concern towards ones safety.

Many of the rooms at this place were not well clean (had some bugs too) and the Wifi was extremely terrible; I couldn't use my electronics in my room due to the bad Wifi. A lot of the furniture wasn't too well maintained (food crumbs in the microwave, fridge, and freezer), and the bathroom had a used bar of soap stuck to the shower curtain. The front desk staff had bad hours (were only open from like 7 AM to 10 PM), and it was hard to get late night assistance, even when I once got locked out of my room after 10 PM. There were also a lot of weird homeless people camping outside the hotel during late nights.

Honestly for the price this place is a bargain. I stayed 3 days two nights and never saw a bug. Heat a/c worked, it was quiet both nights, no body bothered me and smooth check in process. There was no microwave or fridge in the room (probably available) but the food options outside of the room are phenomenal. Great location. Great price. Will return.

This is a welfare motel. Drug activity prevailant, screaming and yelling from neighboring rooms. Light that dont work, pubic hair all over the bathroom, mold on the shower curtain. Bad.

Beyond the staff, I do not have any other positive experiences with this hotel. When we opened the door to our room, there was a thick heavy cigarette odor. Upon entering the room, I wondered if the floor was going to give out from under my feet. The flooring was laminate and it felt soft and uneven under our feet. I always inspect the beds for any signs of bugs. What I found was unsavory! Under the mattress protector sheet, I found carcasses of several species of bugs and several live bugs as well, in addition to sign of bed bugs. Under the bed, on the floor, my husband found a dead cockroach. While I was inspecting the beds, my husband and son found four live cockroaches in the bathroom and vanity area. The nice newer laminate flooring was not installed correctly. There is a gap between the flooring and the wall. In that gap was at least 1 cigarette butt and a bunch of disgusting other indistinguishable items. There were other issues with cleanliness, the sheets had stains and cigarette holes, there were stains on the dust ruffles of both mattresses in the room, and the curtains appeared to be dirty as well. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. We immediately left after our initial inspection. There is no way I could have slept in that room with the unsafe environment that was presented to my family!

Room smelled roaches floor dirty

Filthy disgusting rooms. NO HOT WATER. Sketching people coming and going in he night. Horrible.

Seen dead roaches on the wall or bed bugs then seeing a roach crawl out of the back of the nightstand made it difficult for me to sleep with the lights off could not let my son stay there due to the roaches I'm homeless and this is a s***** hotel the water did not shut off it ran all night I had to cut the shower on and turn it off to the offspot to get it from leaking

I never checked in, too much sketchy deals happing in parking lot.

Bad experience

When I requested a refund at the front desk, the manager had the nerve to argue with me about it. I eventually got my refund after a very unpleasant conversation and him having one of his employees "check the room" as if I had somehow damaged it in the 3 minutes I was in there. I was disgusted that I even set my bag down in that room. Like I said, do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere if you value cleanliness and customer service!

Bugs in the room, painted over graffiti on the walls inside the room, yeah this motel is cheap for a reason.

Sooo clean and quiet. Front desk is super friendly and went above and beyond for helping.

Dont stay here. Its a half way house. Dogs and wild cats outside. Room was disgusting. I walked in and walked right out. Couldnt get a refund either. Cigarette smelled rooms. Ended up leaving and finding another place

There were roaches, the room was dirty and the towels were terribly stained. I asked the front desk for clean towels and express my displeasure, the manager / owner told me to “shut up!” Such a rude man, it was an awful experience. Pay the extra $$ and don’t stay here!

Many people use drugs in the parking lot and in the corridor.

Outside the room next to ours was a good and water bowl for a cat. When we got in the room the smell of smoke was overwhelming in spite of asking for a smoke free room. On top of that the smoke detector was taken from the wall and no battery was present. We did get a new room. Initially the smell of smoke was not noticeable but once we turned on the ac it smelled like smoking section in the 1980's. Later I noticed the smoke detector was not in the wall. The shower was dirty. There were burn marks on sheets. The bathroom door was coming off the frame with nails coming out.

Perfect location, extremely clean, spacious comfortable rooms and a feeling of relaxation.

You get what you pay for! It was very disgusting and nasty! The shower curtain fell down and i didn't even touch it smh roaches crawling around on the floor. The walls in the room are very dirty, the sheets and blankets are very dirty with cigarette holes in a non smoking room. The environment was quiet. I left smelling just like that dirty ass room! I would never come back to the SLUMS! Why have housekeeping if they don't clean!? Next time I'll pay the extra $50 to get a better room!

Police was disgusting. Dog poop in the hallways flies everywhere. Found roaches and maggots in their rooms. We just left. They wouldn't refund our money but there's no way I would stay there. I'd rather be in jail. You should get them off your website because it doesn't look good for you

Housekeeping doesnt come everyday...not acceptable

Hope they checked the room 2083 before i arrived. No phone, smoke detector off the wall, towel rack in bathroom hanging off the wall, coffee maker missing brew drawer, a/c or cover coming out of space.

Didn’t have toilet paper in the room air conditioning was bad hole in the bathroom door no smoke detector with wires showing wouldn’t recommend staying there

People live at this place, I got a non-smoking room that smelled like it’s regularly smoked in. Little brown bugs paid me a visit, and I heard a couple get into a fight. I got what I paid for.

The place was nasty. They have people living here. Burn holes in the bed spreads.The pool closed at 8:00pm. Only one ice machine.

it’s a very average motel. it smells of old cigarettes and nothing has been updated in 20 years but it’s cheap, so can’t complain too much. the area is sketchy so i wouldn’t stay for more than like two days. the mattress is pretty uncomfortable so bring things to help with that.
