We had a nice lower floor room which was pleasantly decorated. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location is good... Quiet but close enough to OSF and downtown to walk everywhere. Hearty breakfast included. Although comfortable enough, the bed mattress had a soft surface. I prefer a firmer one but it did not detract from our visit.

Breakfast was wonderful and the location of the inn was perfect for the Shakespeare Festival and looking around Ashland. Staff were very helpful and the bar was particularly good. Would stay here again without hesitation and would recommend to our friends. Unfortunately construction was going on close to our room which produced a lot of noise. This was completely outside the control of the inn, so we discounted this inconvenience. Would stay here again

A lovely place to land. Beautiful Victorian with a garden to relax in. The room was so comfortable (even had a window seat) and the food was great. As was each member of the staff.

Fabulous breakfast and a great room. Location is right in town, can't really get a better location for the theatres and downtown restaurants. I stay here often.

The complimentary breakfast was excellent and nice to have a happy hour even on weekends (with superb bar menu food and reasonably priced drinks). We would definitely plan to stay here again when we come back for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Not much--everything was great. The only minor complaint is our room was directly below the parlor so could hear people walking due to boards squeaking but this was only an issue before dinnertime and not an issue to interfere with sleep or morning hours.

Why it calls itself hotel really puzzles me. Very dated dirty carpet, loud split heating/ac, not to mention nobody checks you in at 11pm with poor instructions. Will NEVER stay here.

Property was beautiful. Room was large, clean and nicely appointed. The only disappointment was not getting to sample the highly rated breakfast as we learned after we made our booking that the kitchen and restaurant were shut down for a yearly deep clean.

Beautiful B&B. This will now be our favorite stop in Ashland.

Beautiful property. The room was spacious and clean. The sheets were soft and the bed was comfortable. The wait staff was very professional and attentive. The breakfast was delicious and included in the stay. It was walkable to Old Town Ashland. We stayed on foot for most of our stay. Very close to Lithia Park, dining and entertainment. Highly recommend.

Beautiful setting with great service and food. Only problem was the bees nest above our patio room. Couldn’t sit outside because of the bees.

This inn offers a relaxing and comfortable stay. The location is centrally located in the heart of Ashland and the accomodations are amazing. We loved the welcome cookies and the breakfast was incredible. The Victorian architecture of the Inn, the gardens, and surrounding cottages were beatiful. There were so many places to sit and enjoy the gardens, food, and drinks.

The room was amazing, and perfect location . The only negative was how small the tv was but we didn’t end up using it do wasn’t a big deal. The fire place motor sounded like it was on when everything was turned off. The room was amazing and definitely will come back, breakfast was good only bummer was the expresso machine was broken. The bed was comfortable, and staff was great. I love the little touch and personalization in the room.

The 2 full bedrooms with 2 large bathrooms was very convenient. Basically the unit is a converted garage surrounded by parking lots which made it noisy. Location is centrally located and excellent.

The Winchester, especially the Hargadine Suite, is the best hotel on the west coast. I love it so much it is a very very uniquely special place. I go to Ashland specifically for the Winchester and their amazing breakfast.

Our stay was great the staff was helpful and on top of everything! Also they have a fabulous restaurant and bar. We enjoyed some evening drinks and if we wanted could take back the drinks to our room. The breakfast was heavenly and the waiter provided top notch service. The room was clean, neat and they proved lovely treats. All in all I will be back.

Winchester Inn is great place to stay in Ashland. The rooms are spacious, well furnished, clean, and comfy. It is close to the theaters and downtown area so you don't have to drive anywhere once you check in. There are a number of breakfast options and the food is excellent. We would definitely stay there again!

Lovely hotel in downtown Ashland. High end restaurant attached with lovely bar, as well as outdoor seating options. Walkable to all things in downtown. Stairs required up to room. Large comfortable room. Very nice breakfast. Overall, hotel is expensive, but nice. We really enjoy the restaurant.

Booked this last minute and was very pleased-very friendly staff, great clean room, very close to restaurants, and a wonderful complimentary real breakfast! I would definitely choose this place again.

The Winchester is idealic. Its so quaint and pretty. They thought of every detail down to a personal greeting in the room and reservations for their complimentary breakfast, which was like eating at a high end restaurant, and the bed is made by the time you return. The room was so clean, and the towels and bedding were really high quality. And the staff were fantastic! I really look forward to staying here again

This was a lovely stopover in Ashland on our way to Santa Barbara. It is a charming, well run inn. This was Memorial Day weekend so breakfast was not “full service” but what we had was delicious.

I booked the Garden Room for a Queen bed and a sofa bed. I even asked again when I was shown the room if the sofa made into a bed and ahead of time asked to be sure there would be extra bedding for the sofa bed. I was assured upon check in that the sofa made into a bed. It does not. The Queen is more of a double than a Queen and the other guest had to sleep in the bay window minus extra bedding. I tried to get help by calling front desk, no answer. The dishwasher offered his condolences, the staff are nice, but this is poor service to not be able to reach anyone for help in the evening. Very disappointed.

Located very close to downtown Ashland. Comfortableand clean rooms. All instructions for guests are clearly provided in a series of messages throughout the room and bathroom. The staff is very friendly, and the breakfast is plentiful, varied, and delicious. Choose it if you would like to know the city on foot.

The thing that won me over the most was their attention to detail. While the property wasn’t overly “luxurious”, the personal touches made us feel special. We would love to stay here again in the future!

This is such a fantastic place to stay in Ashland Oregon. The accommodations are lovely and the on-site restaurant is truly incredible.

The bed was difficult, as it humped up in the middle, and it caused us to feel as if we were falling out the sides. The hostess was very pleasant. Breakfast was good.

Bed and Breakfast very clean, comfortable and quiet. Little chocolates are not very good. Could change that feature to be a more pleasant, appealing .

I was attending a show at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival with my husband and we only stayed one night. Its a 2 min walk to the venue. We were in the heart of downtown, close to restaurants and shops. Our room was pleasantly comfortable, bathroom is spacious and well stocked. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic. We would definitely recommend to our friends and stay here again the next time we pass through.

My husband and I had a wonderful weekend in Ashland at the Winchester Inn. Such a unique property and so quiet at night! We stayed in the Sunset room, which has a nice little balcony and great view. The bed was really comfortable and the room was tastefully decorated and very clean. Little touches like a personalized card welcoming us and treats in the room go a long way. Breakfast was amazing...2 course on their beautiful patio. I was very impressed and will definitely be back!

Very unique property in that you feel like you are staying at your Grandmother's home. Seemed a bit creepy at first but, the owners warmed up to me after more interactions. I'm not a B&B type as I really don't want everyone to know my business. Neighborhood is experiencing changes and upgrades for the better, but there are still dilapidated houses here and there.

This is a Victorian Inn just a few steps off of Main Street in Ashland. The location is great and the staff is very friendly. I stayed in the Robert Gordon room, which is one bedroom with a living room and bath. I plan to stay here again the next time I am in Ashland.

We stayed there for our 53rd Wedding Anniversary. This has to be one of the finest establishments we have ever stayed in. The staff was excellent, the room was outstanding and we will be returning for another stay.

The property itself is very cool; historic, well maintained, great location. Perfect for experiencing what Ashland has to offer. The included breakfast was amazing - delicious and filling. Staff were amazing. Was celebrating a special occasion and everyone there seemed to know and make it special. Our waitress (Walker?) at dinner was perfect! I’ll be back. One suggestion…antique lights between the buildings.

Due to Covid the kitchen was closed so we missed having our annual delightful and delicious dinner and breakfast. But we still put the Winchester Inn on our list of favorites for next year.

Stayed here on our trip to California.. One night going and one night coming back. Impressive Covid carefulness... We felt completely safe on both visits.. Incredible meals, dinner and breakfast..great beds to rest up for our lengthy trips to and from Portland. Amazing staff make you feel so special..The highest recommendation! Felt so good to get away from home and get reenergized.

This hotel is very clean. The rooms are unique and the bed was so wonderfully soft. The gardens around the property are beautiful. You’re in close walking distance to trails, a creek and Lithia Park. The food blew away my expectations. The breakfast was the most delicious breakfast I’ve ever eaten. The service was also 5 star. I felt spoiled.
