Excellent boutique hotel. Walk to all the restaurants and the OSF. Our only negative would be our room on the first floor had a loud neighbor above, and we were right next to the kitchen which gears up early to serve an excellent breakfast.

Nice place, well located, great staff, delightful breakfast. Like many older inns, room was pretty small and the electrical system would benefit from some modernizing to accommodate needs of 2020+ info tech. However, they did offer EV charging, which was a real plus.

This was quite possibly the best hotel I have ever visited. The staff was amazing. The breakfasts were complex, interesting, and absolutely perfect in every way. The rooms included every amenity one could think of and several I could not have thought of. The hotel preserved a great deal of the history of the house, even things like a stereopticon with hundred-year-old pictures of the house. The staff was able to accommodate a celiac visitor who normally cannot eat out anywhere. I expect I will never stay anyplace else in Ashland again!

McCall House is a boutique B&B built in 1883. The house’s authenticity is meticulously kept up with modern touches for a comfortable stay. Even though the house is old, it feels fresh and clean. What a special place that just felt like home. The attention to detail was stellar. We arrived late at night and the pre-instructions were clear and easy to follow. We had to head out the next morning for our events and couldn't take advantage of the breakfast, so they provided a grab-and-go option for us which was homemade and yummy. I'm still thinking about our fabulous stay at McCall House. From the start of our stay with the incredibly helpful Giselle, the amazing breakfast. I felt like Giselle really cared about our comfort and she obviously was proud of the service and property. The room was beautiful and every comfort was considered. From very high end mattress and linens to wine glasses, robes, sitting area. We were so comfortable and I really feel like the service and rooms were comparable to the best hotels/inns we've ever stayed in. We booked 4 rooms for a family event and everyone was equally blown away. Absolutely loved it and will be back.

McCall House is one of my very favorite (if not #1 favorite) B&Bs. The location is phenomenal (with parking!), the rooms are comfortable and lovely, the staff are so nice and helpful. I had such a pleasant experience at this BnB! I had some vehicle trouble in the area and needed to stay in the area overnight unexpectedly. They let me store my things while they checked me in hours before the check in time, and when I needed extra time after check out the next morning, I also was able to stay in their parlour and kill some time. The room I stayed in inside the Carriage House was spacious and comfortable. Giselle recommeneded a delicious restaurant by the water and local bookstores. I had a lovely time walking around downtown Ashland. The location of this BnB is super close and convientient to the Shakespeare festival and lots of cute little shops. The breakfast next morning was also excellent. Staying here really made the best out of a bad situation. I hope to return under better circumstances with my husband for a getaway weekend some day soon.

I really commend the management of this place for being so accommodating and understanding during our stay. My 5 year old son has autism and although he is very well behave and used to staying in high end hotels, our room was upstairs and my husband is worried that his playing would disturb the downstairs guests. They very kindly upgraded the downstairs guests so we can have the place to ourselves. This is the reason why one should stay in boutique hotels. The service is personalized and you feel like a really treasured guest. I highly recommend this place.

First; Property reached out immediately to see if they could help with any arrangement -- brilliant Second: GPS found the B&B no problem. There was good off street parking on site, and it was included in the price. Third: Yard, building were clean, easy-on-the eye. Check-in: very easy and pleasant (I saw that they have an easy system for late check in) Room: We went with the carriage house north, which was upstairs in a second building. Had its own mini fridge and coffee. Comfortable clean bedding. Bathroom was clean and not too crowded. I had a little trouble getting the bath/shower to function as a bathtub. SUPER CONVENIENT to Ashland's many restaurants and shops. We walked and were there in a couple minutes. B&B staff had lots of ideas on restaurants that they shared. Breakfast was delicious. They had a little amenities area available for late night tea or cocoa as well. Great choice
