Everything was perfect! From the moment we arrived, staff greeted us and were so warm and friendly! The hotel is gorgeous! Our room-phenomenal! We will stay here for our future trips to the mountains! Perfect location, perfect place! Thank you to the staff again!! Nothing!

We always stay at the Windsor in Asheville. The rooms and space with kids cannot be beat!

Nice unique hotel. Rooms were fun. Our room’s AC was broken and they quickly moved us to another room - so all was good.
- 5/5
Beautiful boutique hotel, within 5-10min walking distance of restaurants, bars, art galleries, and museums. The rooms are spacious and elegantly decorated, with well-supplied kitchens. It felt like the comfort of a standard hotel, but with the personal touch of a small venture. We would definitely stay there again!

Unique hotel close to great food and with easy access to the highway. Lovely staff, comfortable rooms, and the full kitchen was very convenient.

We loved the suite. There was plenty of space and it was nicely furnished. The location was perfect - being near great restaurants and lounges. The best of all was the staff members who were knowledgeable and personable. We really enjoyed chatting particularly with the evening staff and were thankful for suggestions and assistance. Light switches were sometimes confusing - but that was on us. The bedroom was small, but the living room was large, which is where we hung out.

The accommodations were clean, charming, and truly felt like a special place to stay. The location is perfect for enjoying everything Asheville has to offer, which made our trip even more memorable. Thank you for such a fantastic stay—we had an unforgettable time and will definitely be back on our next visit to Asheville!

Great location and plenty of space for our family of 5 (pullout sofa was so helpful!). The staff was so thoughtful and they have a great complimentary snack setup in the lobby (kids loved it). Parking lot was a block away (and free) and the morning we were meant to check out there was a farmer’s market on the lot’s street so we had to find alternative, paid parking for the evening to be able to get out the next day.

Loved the room - lots of character, spacious, had everything we needed and more. The amenities were wonderful and the staff were lovely. They even organized in-room couples massage, one of the best massages I’ve ever had! Perfect spot for being in central/downtown Asheville. One small thing, the location being next to a street with very early trash/recycling pickup. We’d be woken by the beeping of trucks and dumping of bottles, sometimes as early as 6:30 in the morning (pretty loud, even with white noise and earplugs). Not something the hotel can control though, and the central location is so convenient, so just something to be aware of.

The truth is I got everything I wanted at the hotel but a good night's sleep. The people are helpful. The amenities are great. The rooms are large. But it's a creaky old noisy hotel, and the clomping on the floors above my room kept me awake half the night on multiple nights. Bad guests upstairs? Probably, but a properly built hotel would have deadened some of that noise. Shame, I really wanted to like it.

The room was comfortable and clean. We slept great and had plenty of room in the two queen bed suit. It was nice to walk to two nearby coffee shops and bakery. The complimentary drinks and snacks in the lobby was so nice too! With the hotel being right in DT Asheville, parking is tricky. The hotel offers parking a short walk away, so we had to coordinate luggage loading at a nearby loading zone. It was a little hectic getting in during a busy time, but we figured it out fine. We also accidentally left our credit card at check in and wasn't notified that the desk had it. They could have notified us instead of us checking with front desk.

Great little boutique hotel, nice to be away from the chains. Staff really friendly. Rooms were basically self contained apartments and beautifully furnished and clean. Felt more like being at home than in a hotel.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Windsor! The staff was friendly, the location was in the heart of downtown so shopping and food are walkable. The room was very clean and had everything you would need. Our room included a refrigerator, stove, microwave, washer, dryer, etc. It was a very cozy room that felt like a home away from home. If we are ever on the area again we will definitely be staying at the Windsor again!

Really nice place with great staff and service. Would definitely stay here again.

Staff was exceptional. Room was beautiful, large and nicely appointed. Location was wonderful - great to walk to all the downtown spots. Little details like snacks and waters available 24 hours. Free parking which is a rarity at a downtown hotel. Five stars all around!

Everything was very clean. I loved that they had complimentary drinks and snacks. I also liked that they had bath robes and slippers for us. There was a large gap under the main door making me feel unsafe and allowing increased noise in the room. The walls are super thin and we could hear every noise from people upstairs (including walking). The windows do not block street noise very well and the hotel is on a very busy street. It was hard to sleep.

Very comfortable room with plenty of space and good amenities (especially the washer and dryer). There was a bit of noise from the upper floors. Didn’t impact on us too much but it might be an issue for light sleepers.

Fabulous suite with everything we could need and great decor and amenities. Great location. A little noisy on a Saturday but can’t fault it for bars and restaurants and ambience. A little noisy outside at times but a great central location so that’s to be expected.

Parking is only half block away and no charge . Easy but we were checking out Saturday morning . Friday afternoon I got a text message that the farmers market was the next morning . We were told to move our car if we needed access to it Saturday morning. This meant pay for parking in a garage. Should of been told before booking.

Rooms are spacious, wonderfully appointed with soft robes and good coffee. Very comfortable beds. The location is perfect, close to shops, spas, breweries, restaurants. Staff is friendly and helpful. Would absolutely stay here again.

The ‘room’ was just perfect as well. Felt like a well furnished upscale studio apartment. Kitchen was clean, convenient with coffee maker, hot water for tea, refrigerator with ice maker. For two days I felt like a resident of Downtown Asheville. Staff in the front desk were friendly and ready to assist. Never felt intrusive. Would definitely recommend!

This is seriously the perfect hotel for a “home away from home”! You are within walking distance of sooooo many cute shops and great eats! The staff is so warm, welcoming, and helpful! There’s a full kitchen and a washer dryer in the room, and the rooms are quite spacious! This will be our go to hotel when we visit wonderful Asheville!

Wow! We had a wonderful stay at the Windsor Boutique Hotel. The rooms were beautiful and thoughtfully decorated. The bed was really comfortable. Having a full kitchen and washer/dryer was the main selling point for us. The parking situation is easy-peasy and you can unload in front of the hotel before parking. The front desk staff is very kind and professional. The location can't be beat. We were able to walk to everything we needed and never had to use our car once all week! I hope to stay again during my next trip to Asheville!

Lovely boutique hotel! The room was beautifully decorated with well-equipped kitchen, comfy living area, and quality bath amenities, robes, slippers, etc., in a perfect downtown location. We only spent one night to see the Thomas Dambo Trolls at the N.C. Arboretum, but it would be a great home base for extended stays exploring downtown Asheville and beyond.

Thank goodness we were on the 3rd floor because the floors were quite creaky. Water pressure was horrible . Our king bed was very comfortable. The staff was super kind & helpful!!

Charming hotel was an absolute gem of a place to stay in. We decided on Windsor over the Biltmore because the rooms are much more spacious and charming… a bit of history and yet with all modern amenities. I didn’t feel like I was staying in a cookie cutter Marriott room. Felt like home and we will stay again.

This hotel went above and beyond my expectations. Although the road it is located on is a little congested, once I had navigated the street to the unloading zone and unloaded my bags, the rest of the experience was wonderful. We loved staying at the Windsor Hotel. It is located close to the center of Asheville with convenient access the a number of restaurants on Broadway Street. The interior of the hotel has a lot of charm. We stayed in the Luxury Suite wich had large living room & built in kitchen, a separate sleeping area & a spacious bath room. The room was clean. We loved the hands off service on demand concept of the hotel. Hotel parking is included and around the corner. The friendly personell in the reception was very helpful.

I loved the character of the place; it's quirkiness and vibe. It's proximity to everything cannot be beaten either.

The hotel was very nice. My biggest complaint is the parking is so bad, it doesn't feel safe parking in the ally the hotel provides, i went to move my car at 12am to the paid parking garage and there were numerous homeless in the ally next to the cars. Our check out was on Saturday and we were told we'd have to move our car to that parking garage because of a farmers market blocking the ally, so I ended having to pay for the parking. Also the front desk was on limited hours and I ended up helping two guest get checked in and find parking since I happened to be in the lobby. Outside of that the hotel was amazing. The room we stand in had a dated bedroom tv with no smart functions so we weren't able to watch Netflix together which was a bit of a let down but not a deal breaker. I really did enjoy my stay, the parking really was the worst thing about it. I probably wouldn't stay again due to that but really thats the only reason

Wally the receptionist was the highlight of our visit. Missing our own pooches meant cuddles was a must. The rest of the team are great too so friendly. And the room was amazing.

We come to Asheville a few times a year. We had stayed at a few places before finding the Haywood and had been very happy there until their recent renovations took out their bathtubs. I have nerve conditions that need me to soak my legs. That led me to calling a bunch of places and finding the Windsor and I’m so glad I did. It had a wonderful location, charm and much better than an average hotel stay. (It was even cheaper than our previous hotel by a tad) The amenities couldn’t be beat. Will definitely return.

We loved staying at the Windsor hotel. It was a beautiful, carefully curated space that met our needs and exceeded our expectations. From the real dishes in the kitchen, to the convenience of a washer dryer, it was well stocked and beautiful. Staff was extremely helpful and responsive; they just weren’t always there which is why that’s four stars.

Enjoyed the snacks and the adjacent gallery. I thought the place was going to be a bed & breakfast, but, sadly, no breakfast! :( Nice refrigerator - with ice! Bathroom sink was very small. Heads up for all of the women who have cosmetics or hair implements to work with - almost no room. Many of the outlets did not work so things I thought were charging ended up losing power. Great windows and natural light in living room. Too dark everywhere else. TV in bedroom didn't work. All staff were wonderful! Very helpful with positive affects. All in all, enjoyed the stay!

Bathroom shower was not safe for older adult. Very slippery tub, nothing to hold onto getting in and out of shower. On second floor so could hear people above us. Room was like a great apartment. Downtown location was wonderful, but parking was 1.5 blocks away with tight parking spaces.

Our stay was incredible and a lot of it was because the staff is out nothing short of amazing! The only thing i would like to see changed in the future is the parking. They need valet parking to match the experience. Absolutely highly recommended even with the parking craziness. We will be returning in the future for sure!

This place was absolutely amazing. We will definitely recommend and return here in the near future. The room was beautiful, spacious, clean, and just felt like home. The staff was very friendly and always willing to lend a hand with anything. You will not be disappointed with this hotel. It is one of the best we have visited in a very long time.

Well appointed apartment like living. Very comfortable!

This hotel was amazing and the staff was wonderful!! Highly recommend.
- 4/5
There were great amenities in the room, like a separate bedroom, kitchen, washer/dryer and spacious living area. The staff were responsive to the guest and I felt secure at the location in downtown. The issue for my wife and I was that it had more of a feel of a timeshare. There was no bar or restaurant in the hotel, which means there was no room service. As a traveler, room service breakfast is a luxury. Although there was a full kitchen, this trip was to get away from that. There was no valet and parking was awkwardly a block and a half away. Which, of course, we got to the hotel in a torrential downpour and the walk back from parking was a mess. Although we received clean towels on demand, there was no consistent housekeeping. The staff was very responsive to problems, but due to the building being older the living room was drafty and we had issues with heat. Staff were puzzled by the problem, but ultimately it got fixed. The last morning a crazy smoke detector went off and did a high wire act to turn it off. It’s considered a boutique hotel, but it’s more like an Air B&B. If I were a long term traveler or looking for a home base for a business stay, this is a great place. It’s apartment living, but for a vacation to relax for a couple days, in the future we’d go up the street a little ways to one of the luxury chains and get room service.
- 5/5
Such a fun place to stay! Can’t beat the location. Clean and comfortable. Amazing staff!
- 5/5
Full apartment with plenty of space. Only thing to consider is parking is about a block away. So check weather for the walk. Staff and room were excellent. My definition of boutique hotel.
- 5/5
I enjoyed the staff. I asked for a ballon and flowers for my girlfriend birthday and they made it happen. When I inquired about the cost they said don’t worry enjoy your stay! I loved the apartment style room full kitchen washer & dryer with included beverages and quality snacks!
- 5/5
Cute and comfortable stay. Very squeaky flooring but it adds to the charm unless you are trying to be quiet. Very accommodating staff. Parking could be easier or more convenient but staff was flexible when free parking wasn’t available. Huge bathroom!!! We’d stay again

We loved staying at the Windsor Boutique Hotel in Asheville. The staff is professional, helpful, and incredibly nice. The rooms are big and clean. The beds are very comfortable. We loved having a full kitchen and living room. The property is modern. The Benjamin Walls gallery and wine bar in the building is fabulous. Strada Italiano is a delicious restaurant across the street. We walked to a concert at Rabbit Rabbit. We walked to 2 great breakfast places also at the staff recommendation - Early Girl and Med Diner. We had a great stay in Asheville, Thanks Windsor Team.

Historic property in a good location. Good amenities and better service.
- 5/5
Wonderful stay, super nice staff, charming hotel. Loved it!
- 5/5
This boutique hotel was filled with charm and unique art pieces that generated the wow factor. Many restaurants and stores within walking distance make the location perfect for ditching the car. The bakery a few doors down is a must stop. Art museum is also close by.

Great location with a groovy vibe and massive rooms
- 5/5
The Windsor was beautiful! Great interiors, fully equipped kitchenette, fabulous suite with well appointed sitting area and bedroom area. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient to downtown Asheville. We would definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
The staff were amazing Sky & Eliza. The room ans ambience ecletic and amenties exceptional. The only observation would be the tub floor needs deep clean and tissue holder is cumbersome. Enjoyed our 30th anniversary stay ❤️ ~ Ruffins
- 4/5
Our room was actually a small apartment with Living Room, Kitchenette and Bedroom, along with a washer and dryer. Perfect stop for the middle of a long road trip. We enjoyed our stay here but we thought the room seemed a little bit rundown for the price we were paying. There are a lot of new hotels to choose from in Asheville these days. I think Windsor Boutique better step up their game.
- 5/5
Very nice accommodation. friendly and helpful staff and everything was easy. I will stay here again!
- 5/5
We stayed for 3 days for my wife’s birthday. This place is absolutely amazing. You will not be disappointed. Everything from the attentive staff to the decor to the location was top notch. Kudos on a very well run and beautiful boutique hotel. We will be back.

Room was very clean and comfortable, with very nice amenities. All the staff was very friendly and welcoming, especially Nick at the front desk who had great suggestions on restaurants and places to visit. Check out was also very friendly and easy process. Definitely will stay here again.

- 5/5
We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Windsor. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, the room was super cute and charming and the hotel is walking distance to lots of local restaurants and shops!
- 5/5
Really nice hotel. Felt like an apartment. Nicely decorated and very comfortable. Very convenient to restaurants and bars in downtown Asheville. There were cold waters and sodas and snacks available free of charge for guests in the lobby. Nice touch. Good (real) coffee in room too.
- 5/5
The staff is fantastic. We only got Eliza’s name but every single person was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and efficient. The room was really an apartment with a separate bedroom, walk-in closet, full kitchen, and best of all, a washer and dryer. The 24 hour expresso and coffee machine, complimentary snacks and cold beverages, and robes and slippers were additional delights. Stay here if you’re in Asheville.
- 5/5
This was a nice experience. Great location. Easy parking. Staff was friendly and competent. Nice to have the kitchenette in the room. We did use the washing machine and dryer. Thanks for the complimentary snacks and the bottle of wine.
