We got to the hotel at 9:30 pm, the front desk clerk was very nice, our room was awesome, we had a balcony overlooking the pool. The pool was very well maintained and had three fountains going into the pool, the spa was great, it was big and bubbles like a hot tub. Breakfast was different everyday which was great. Will stay again. The only con I would say is they don’t have cleaning staff at night to get more towels or things to the room, you have to go to the front desk for those items.

Just wasn’t a very clean environment. The poor guy working the front desk I think worked during our entire weekend stay. Really needs a good update. Can’t believe this was a Holiday Inn around Biltmore area.

The room was clean and breakfast was great. However, we have 2 service dogs with us for my benefit, as I'm recovering from braining surgery. On this occasion, plus the time we stayed this past January, our room was the same, room 312. This is located next to the elevators. This is not a prime location for dogs add they hear and potentially bark at every person that gets off our on the elevator, which is everyone on the floor. I would request that on our next stay our room is further away from the elevator. Thank you, Corin Denmon

The entire hotel needs updating. There were two elevators but only one worked. There was a reddish stain on the carpet in front of the pull out bed, and next to the balcony door you can see light coming from the outside. We heard outside noise from the street below on the 7th floor.

There were two small things....our TV never worked during our stay and the refrigerator was never turned on. The morning after our first night, I discovered that the refrigerator was off, ruining an $85 meal. I let the front desk know but no one ever contacted me.

The room was spacious and clean and had two tvs. The breakfast is the best of any hotel I have used before. Love the small omelettes and the cinnamon rolls are the best.

The room had no hot water because a boiler was down. It took some doing to get a refund and move to a different hotel. The gm was not amenable at first. But eventually said he would make sure hotels.com gave a full refund. I have never had to deal with this before. So, I'm hoping it is actually refunded.

The sheets for the double bed had blood stains on them. Went to front desk to get new sheets. One of the new sheets we got had something crunchy stuck to it. So gross!! I wish I had taken pictures but was more focused on getting family situated and to bed as it was midnight by this time! When we went to climb into the king bed the sheets were covered in dog hair and people hair. Looked as if they had been used and bed just remade for next guest. 😳 Again, we went to desk and got new sheets to make the king bed. Bathroom counter, sink looked clean! Bathroom door was in rough shape, toothpaste stuck on door knob. By bathroom trash red gunk stuck to floor. Breakfast bar was complimentary and a fantastic spread. Good location, right off the highway. I’ve stayed at these hotels before and this definitely doesn’t fit the mold or reputation I feel like they have built. Definitely my worst hotel experience ever! Also, hotel and room smelled very musty. We had air purifier in the car that we brought in the room and that helped!

We had a really nice stay overall. The rooms were very clean and the hotel was quiet, which made it easy to relax. The staff was very friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. The only downside was that the spa area looked a bit dirty, so we chose not to use it. Other than that, it was a great trip and we enjoyed our time there.

The exit ramp from the parking lot to the street does not safely transition. There are scratch marks all over the street from vehicles. I can imagine what the vehicles look like.

The stay was decent because house keeping didn’t clean our room one night. We weren’t given new towels, wash clothes, or anything. Our room smelled like smoke, they moved us to another room, just aggravating. The people before had stuffed bathroom vents full of tissue to keep cigarette smoke smell hid, rough experience.

I didn’t eat breakfast there we already made plans to eat somewhere else. It was very clean and it felt safe to be there. I feel it needs some updating. The shower was slippery. I used a towel in the bottom so I wouldn’t slip.

I was told by the front desk clerk that she would refund the 2nd night because I have asthma and became very sick and had to come home to go to my doctor. Ended up having bronchitis. I have not received anything on a refund.

We chose this location because they were pet friendly, had a good breakfast and were close to the Biltmore house and blue ridge parkway. It worked out very well for us and a great value as well. Clean, friendly, comfortable. Would recommend!

Staff was friendly, room was clean, hot tub was open, ice makers worked. The refrigerator was not on in our room which was an issue for medication that needed refrigerated. After our 2nd night it was fianlly cooled enough. There were never more than 5 towels for the hot tub area. We ended up staying 3 nights. The breakfasts crowd was simply too much for the staff to keep up with. It was commonly out of most food and coffee. Cleaning staff made our beds and gave us fresh towels but didn't restock other amenities in the room. It was ok to stay in but overpriced at $251 per night. Would not stay again for that price.

Room service was horrible in that it was NON-EXISTENT. I had to complain and ask for them to bring fresh towels and the one morning they came and did it they didn’t even fix the bed. The MAIN reason I chose this hotel was that it advertised daily room service which isn’t true. BREAKFAST- - food gave out every morning even on mornings that there weren’t many people, Most mornings both of the coffee containers were empty and someone had to bring it to the staffs attention they were empty. The staff moved so slow re-filling it was ridiculous. All The front desk staff were friendly although the first day we checked in, she handed me the room cards and I had to ask where the room was

We had a great stay here! From making online reservations to check out, the process was quick and easy! All staff members we interacted with were very friendly and our room was clean. The breakfast provided was also really great, with a good variety of hot foods as well as quick options. We were only in town for one night, but the location was convenient to downtown Asheville. It was close to many shopping and dining options. Would highly recommend staying here!

Disappointed with the in-room TV functionality. The channel selections were not aligned with the electronic channel guide making it very difficult to select a specific program. Had to literally scroll through many of the 120+ channels one-by-one each time to find what I was looking for. Asked for assistance at the lobby desk and was told the new Hisense TV’s on the 3rd floor needed to be individually and manually programmed by the maintenance team when they returned the next week. Not a solution that was helpful for me since that was after my 2-night weekend stay. Very frustrating.

This was one of the dirtiest Holiday Inns we've stayed at. The bathroom isn't completely clean. For the price per night, it's not worth what it offers. It seems poorly maintained. The breakfast staff was very slow and unhelpful. I don't recommend it for that area of ​​Ashville.

Our TV in the room was not working. Went down to the front desk to complain. She did put a note in the computer to have it fixed in the morning. We stopped by the front desk in the morning to make sure it was fixed that day. They said it would be fixed by time we got back to the room. It was not. Complained again but nothing was done. Also the breakfast area is small. We also had to wait about twenty minutes for them to bring out more food. The hotel could use some updating.

The toilet didn’t flush properly, the hotel was generally dirty and run down. The hotel room itself was very filthy. The cleaning staff didn’t wait for a woman and her baby to get on the elevator and cut her in line to get their cart on the elevator first. Just rude.

I did not check into hotel due to significant flight delays. When I called on what should have been the day of my second night I was told my reservation had been cancelled. Holiday inn was unable to refund me because I booked through Expedia. Expedia says they can not refund me because they can not reach the general manager for them to grant a waiver. So basically two nights paid for and I never got a room. Will not deal with either of them again.

Property was under construction outside. Gym equipment was broken (all except the elliptical). AC unit above the pool doorway constantly drips condensate water on the door awning. Updates are needed to feel fresh.

Check in was easy and smooth, room was clean and breakfast was great! The only complaint is the running and jumping in the room above us. Overall, great stay

We woke up on my daughter’s birthday and got in the pool because the sign said open. He we were kicked out of the pool so chemicals could be poured in. My pregnant wife asked for two extra pillows which never appeared. And the room only came with two towels. My wife noticed white stains all over the corner chair. Gross.

We had a wonderful time. Maybe have the continental breakfast later than 9:30. But it was a great place overall.

Good location. Quiet, seems to be constantly repairing something. Parking is somewhat limited.

Jefri was there ready to greet guests. He went out of his way to check for us to see if a room was available before check in time without any complaints. He indeed was able to give us a room 3 hours before check out. The staff was really nice.

Everything was fine but the noise at night could be a bit disturbing. The doors close loudly in the halls. Check in and out was great with staff very kind and courteous. Overall, we had a good stay.

It had an outdoor pool and inside hot tub. The people in the lobby were very nice and went above and beyond. Now days that’s hard to find.

Pool was closed, nothing noting that online or during booking. One of the 2 elevators doesn’t work. And we had to get new keys 4 times due to them not working once we go to our room on the 4th floor.

Some construction going on, I know that can’t be helped. Looked a little dated and to get in and out was difficult but the people were great. Elizabeth esp. she took the time to make sure all my questions were answered , addressed and taken care of.

Everyone was very nice and professional. Beds were comfy area was decent.

Property is well maintained, clean and spacious. Staff is friendly and helpful and breakfast is always very nicely prepared.

The front desk and breakfast staff were amazing, kind, and hard working. The cleaning crew did a good job as well. Everything was tidy and well kept. The breakfast was the best we’ve had at at continental with the coolest pancake maker machine! The hotel is a little outdated and the 4th floor reeks of smoke but the beds were comfy and clean and we had no issues.

It was a nice stay.

The property was quiet and comfortable. The room was fairly large. The desk chair was too squeaky and will wake up anyone sleeping. Some amenities in the room like a microwave and refrigerator. The breakfast was good with bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, pancakes, cereal and yogurt plus more. The only complaint is that they overcooked the scrambled eggs the day I was there. I think most places would have thrown out eggs that were that overcooked (burned), but they served them anyway. The front desk staff were friendly. Eleanor is an interesting girl if you get to meet her. I would stay here again.

This was an overnight stay while traveling to my final destination. The room was large and comfortable. The property was quiet despite some noisy guests. The door to the bathroom in room 311 needs to be replaced. It is either damaged or effected by the humidity in the room. The desk chair was very squeaky and loud so if someone need to sleep and someone else needed to stay up, the chair would keep waking the sleeping person up. The breakfast was good with hot and cold options. They had bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, pancakes, cereal, and yogurt to name a few things. It was a nice start to the day. I would stay here again.

Excellent place, excellent staff, great location! Not sure if the room beside of us was a smoking room or not but you could smell cigarette smoke when we woke up this morning maybe just thin walls? No complaint otherwise though

Very clean and quiet

Hotel caters to dogs more than people. Big dog barking when we arrived, through the night whenever someone walked by the room, in the morning waking us up. My husband said his pillow smelled like dogs. Otherwise it would be a good location and housekeeping staff seemed fantastic.

Smelled cigarette smoke in the hallway. Maid beating on the door at 9:30a. Hotel looked worn. Entrance is dangerous due to oncoming traffic. Bathroom floor was sticky

Looked good considering the hurricane has caused so much damage.

We stayed in what may have been the last night of the hotel. Helene came through the very next night and did a dance on Ashville. We hope the staff are all safe and that of their families. The hotel was first rate. Highly recommend it if it survived.

Favorite place in Asheville.

For the price it's ok. The smell of marijuana was omnipresent through the vents. Would look elsewhere if the need to repeat.

On our way thru with friends. It was ok but needs updating. Breakfast was good.

This was up to our expected Holiday Inn Express standards. A very good nights' stay and a grear breakfast. Also, the best water pressure and showers of our trip!

The room and facilities were good. There was a softball team of children that played in the hallway until 11. But that’s not the employees fault.

Great for a weekend stay near Downtown Asheville and a lot of hiking places around

It was convenient to interstate. The chair or chaise lounge was short so if you were 6’ tall your legs hung off the end. There was no table beside the chair to put a glass or your phone. There wasn’t anywhere near mirror at entrance hall to do hair while someone showered. Shelf and outlet would have been nice.

This hotel is quite dated and could use additional updating. the room had been updated some but needs a lot more.

Very nice overall. The outlets may be walkable but it’s not a safe walk. Highway crossing and most of the outlet shops said open until 8 but were closed when we went at 6pm. Hotel is very nice and I do recommend it.

We thought the hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly. A lot of updates to the hotel room which was nice. Will definitely stay here again.

Strangest experience is that when we returned after a full day at the Biltmore Estate, we found our room door propped open (assume by the cleaning staff.) Nothing was missing, but not a comfortable discovery for sure.
